Hotel Abadia Plaza

Había gente en la alberca con bocinas mucho ruido gente con sus cosas regadas por la alberca, el personal de recepción nada amables. No tenían la habiatacion lista cuando se supone ya era la hora de check in

La limpieza dejó mucho que desear, había mucho polvo y se ven deterioradas las instalaciones

La recepcionista tenia un trato poco amable. La habitación olia a humedad al ogual qir baño. Las sabanas se notaban viejas. Y para acabarla menciono la recepcionista que incluia desayuno y al final que no por ser reservacion en Expedia Caro y feo

Hotel cómodo, con estacionamiento amplio a 20 mins a pie de la Alhóndiga de Granaditas. Algo ruidoso, se escuchan los coches y camiones por la noche, ya que se encuentra junto a la carretera hacia La Valenciana

La verdad en cuanto vi el Hotel supe que había sido estafada, nada que ver con las fotos que muestran. en la página, reclame pero me dijeron que no podian hacer nada. Ví las habitaciones y mas me desilucioné, todo sucio, el baño olia feo y muy obsoleto. las cobijas muy mal olor y donde se pone la ropa tenia telarañas. La verdad muy mala experiencia, no lo recomiendo.

Pesimo lugar, mismo que tuve que dejar al instante, no cuenta con una buena recepcion ni mucho menos te ayudan a bajar tu equipaje, tu estacionas tu vehiculo habitaciones pesima, alberca super sucia y ademas no se podia usar por que la tenian ocupada, edredones de las camas sucios, las fotos que aparecen en la aplicación nada que ver con la realidad.

Excelente atención y limpieza. Muy agradable la alberca con temperatura templada. Solamente el baño está algo reducido en espacio, pero está muy limpio todo.

This hotel was old, unkempt, and filthy. The 5 rooms we booked were disgusting. 2 rooms had cockroaches, other rooms were not cleaned at all with dirty sheets and stinky trash. The pillows were old & stained, and there was questionable stains on the sheets. We would never stay here again.

El hotel es bonito, cuenta con estacionamiento propio, tiene alberca pequeña y no profunda, ideal para pasar el rato en familia. Las habitaciones son muy “rústicas”, básicas, no te brindan muchas amenidades, adentro hay un ventilador de torre y en el baño tarda mucho en salir agua caliente, nada que no tenga solución pero son cosas que se podrían mejorar. El servicio de limpieza es bueno, pedimos toallas extras y atendieron la solicitud. Servicio de restaurante solo en la mañana y a la carta, lo bueno es que tienen una taquería dentro del hotel que trabaja de 4 de la tarde en adelante. Nuestro viaje fue familiar y de vacaciones, si pretendes estar en la habitación la mayor parte del día no te será muy cómodo. Entrada y salida en recepción, todo estuvo bien. El personal es muy atento y amable.

La atención del personal de recepción es malicima, todo se les complica y no tienen la capacidad para atender cuando tienen mucha gente.

Habitaciones con olor a humedad, paredes deterioradas, el cable TV malo. Sobre el desayuno, falta una mejor atención, olvidan lo que se pide.

El personal que te recibe muy amable. La habitación limpia. Agua calientita en la 🚿 a cualquier hora. La alberca limpia y templada a 28 grados. Te ofrecen recorridos turísticos. Tiene estacionamiento, y también te ofrecen servicio de taxi. No ocupe servicio de restaurante pero si cuentan con el servicio. Me volvería a hospedar ahí.

It was a good location. I wish it had more towels, toilet paper and fans. We had one fan and it was not enough. No AC. The beds were comfortable and clean. Staff was so nice and helpful.

Wheather was good. Hot, but tje patio area got a good breeze. The only thing that would have made the stay more comfortable is ... AC. Room got really stuffy. We had to get another fan to manage through the night. Other than that.. very friendly and helpful people

Lo que no me gusto que la alberca es muy pequeña para el tamaño del hotel ( la cantidad de huespedes)muy incomodo . Y no me gusto que permitan bebidas alcohólicas en la alberca . Lo demás en general bueno

El colchón estaba súper duro, al despertar me dolió mucho la espalda. La atención del personal buena, había buena limpieza en el hotel, en mi estadía todo estuvo bien, con excepción del colchón extremadamente duro.

La habitación cómoda, lo único que no me gustó es que llegando no había luz. Y la verdad le hace falta un restaurante al hotel ya que solo cuenta con una taquería por la noche y la carne tenía mucho nervio. Hace falta también el hotel te asesore sobre lugares para visitar .

Muy viejo el hotel

The exterior of the hotel is beautiful and the room is clean but not adequate. The beds are really hard. Literally, a bench outside our restaurant was softer. The pillows are hard. The sheets are rough. The wifi signal wasn't strong enough to look for other lodging. We didn't have hot water in the morning or at night. There is a lockbox, but it doesn't have key so you can't use it. There were only 3 small drawers and 3 hangers in the closet so there is no place to unpack your clothes. There isn't anything to hang towels on in the bathroom. Hot and cold water are labeled incorrectly. The windows are all coated over with something opaque white so, while you are in one Mexico's most beautiful cities, you can't see anything. The light is just a bare bulb. The pool is clean, but very cold. And, they don't provide drinking water. You have to buy plastic water from the Farmacia across the street. It could be a gorgeous, comfortable hotel but Stayberry is too cheap to invest in it. We did not try the restaurant. They would not give me a refund so when we wanted to leave after one night I had to dispute the charge through my credit card.

El diseño del hotel lo hacen muy ruidoso, no es muy apto para descanso.

Me gustó que tiene un amplio estacionamiento y el personal es muy amable, no me agradó tanto la decoración, le hace falta una remodelación.

Great place to stay, very clean! The mattresses are a bit too firm and by the 3rd day my back was in pain but the other hotels we visited had the same kind.

This facility was easy to access by car and using google maps. The buffet is only open during the busy season, so the only available food when I visited was "À la carte". Closeness to drugstore and convenience stores are a plus. We wished that they rooms had A/C units but the rooms are not advertised as such so I keep my 5 stars review.

Mi estancia horrible, llegó y las recepcionistas te reciben más a fuerzas que de ganas, el hotel por cada pasillo que caminas cucarachas por donde sea Tuve que salir de emergencia a las 6 am y la recepción cerrada no había nadie para entregar las llaves marcando como a la 4 Ta vez me contesta un señor enojado que quería y le dije fui y toque y nadie me habré y me urge entregar la llave me regaño me dijo que era mi problema por qué no toque fuerte que él ahí estaba cosa que no era cierto me moleste fui de nuevo a la recepción y el señor mal encarado uno robusto alto por qué ni si quiera tenía gafete de identificación me hace mala cara ni si quiera da los buenos días y le dije a usted le entrego y solo tomo las llaves y se dio la vuelta un señor súper grosero obvio jamás regreso me hicieron sentir súper mal el hotel nada que ver con las fotos ni con la habitación mal en todos los aspectos

We were looking forward to a calm hotel stay, but instead couldn’t sleep in this old hotel. Not only was it due to the heat, but the beds are as hard as boulders. On top of that the pool was cold, dirty, and the Sun umbrellas were broken. Stay away from this place.

Bien por el precio, pero no cuenta con aire acondicionado, por lo que tienes que abrir ventanas y no tiene mosquiteros. No hay internet en la zona de habitaciones

The rooms were clean, and the costumer service was a plus. The location is about 10 minutes in car from downtown but is perfect if you like peace and quite during your sleep. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Overall is a beautiful hotel.

Las almohadas estaban duras

Necesitaba un lugar para dormir y para eso me sirvió. No es un lugar con muchas comodidades, pero cumple para algo básico.

El hotel en general esta bonito. No me gustó, que no hay dentro del hotel mas opciones de comida.

Pésima, ya que no contaban con agua caliente, la habitación estaba súper vieja y estaba abajo de la cocina. Simplemente un desastre. No lo recomiendo para nada

Service was ok. The premises, not so much. Our room was terrible. Dark. Not enough lights. Not ventilated. Smelled of mildew. Windows didn’t open. Housekeeping insisted on shutting bathroom door and that only made things worse. Bed linens were horribly stiff, old, smelled of mildew. Pillows so old and limp. In the restaurant they served us coffee in a mug that had a bug!!! Would never go back.

Me parece una excelente opción de hospedaje, limpio, amabilidad del personal, habitaciones amplias, buena atención en restaurante así como alimentos de buen sabor, el único detalle falta Minisplits en habitaciones.

The stay was okay, wish they had a snack bar or restaurant inside. The staff members were rude when we checked in, they didnt want to help us check in, felt like we were being ignored and unwelcomed. I wish we stayed somewhere else were we felt a bit of hospitality.

It all depends on everybody expectations. For me is not what I expected when I made the reservation. On pictures look nice but is not. Rooms and location are very terrible! I wouldn't return there. Do your homework because you will get a surprise if you just go by the pictures.

Bad attitude of the front desk at check in. On top of that she told me that Breakfast buffet was included and this morning waiters asked me to pay. She tricked me into going to the buffet as included and then they charged me for it. They cheat in order to get people on the simple buffet.

It was ok, rooms are very old. Beds hard, but location is close to everything. Staff very friendly!

The views from this hotel are amazing, especially from the second floor! We loved the colonial feel of the architecture and the decor. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bellboy helped us make a reservation for a great tour that picked us up right from the hotel. The room with two double beds was a bit on the small size but definitely enough for the price for a family of four. The cable was good and WIFI was strong enough for a Zoom meeting for work. The gardens are well taken care of and the enclosed parking made us feel good about leaving our car parked there without moving it for three days. The kids enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed their Sunday breakfast buffet and the tacos at the on site restaurant for supper. If you are walkers, the downtown is not too far away. We walked there and back at least once every day to enjoy the museums, parks, and restaurants. We would definitely stay there, again!

Great hotel! It has its own taco shop in the evenings. Great location, very safe, clean and friendly staff. We took a car since we drove from Guadalajara but we never moved it. We took taxi to downtown for about 60 pesos which is about $4 dlls . No A/C in the rooms but we never missed it. The weather is great in the beginning of June

Great little place! Friendly staff and fast service. Laundry service (dried on a clothesline) is really inexpensive.

My room was close to pool but noise all night I guess the machine for pool was what was making noise all day and night made it really hard to fall asleep also a restaurant kitchen was next to it could hear the blender when was turned on and when employees was cleaning up to close so noise stoped like 12am the bathroom shower has a very frustrating had turn on shower for for more then 20 minutes be for showering for hot water to come out

Hi! I never got the room! Never used it! I o my got the other two rooms from another reservation Friday-Monday! They doble booked! I went to another hotel! I would like a redound

good and nice hotel, room a bit small. some noise from the street and from youths making a big mess at 5:00am (but it can happen, can't blame the hotel for this). Pool area is nice but the water is cold, i can't understand why they don't have a water heating system. we literally couldn't enter in the water.

It is away from the center of town but it has nearby things like a grocery store, OXXO store, and food. Delicious street food and sit down places are walking distances away. The staff is courteous and nice. Large insects like in any other humid warm climate. Very nice restaurant on location with good tacos and food.

When I showered during night and morning there was not hot/cold water pressure causing me huge trouble.

The parking is ample. Rooms clean and comfortable. 15 minute down hill walk to El Centro. 50 peso cab ride back. Would stay again.

I just found pretty uncomfortable that the rooms doesn't have WiFi .. I don't know what they do that , the rates of the hotel it is not as cheap for not having so basic services. plus the day I got there, it was an event going on with this noise sound, which didn't stop til 2am..

Stay was to celebrate my wedding anniversary. This hotel is a 20 minute walk to downtown. Counted the walk as part of my exercise. The hotel offered wifi but only in the hotel lobby. I would of preferred wifi in the rooms. The front desk and housekeeping personnel was very attentive. The hotel has a restaurant onsite and offers vending machines. The location is great for relaxation and minimal noise. The housekeeping room was right behind my room which was very loud in the morning as the personnel was very talkative. Front desk was able to check us in at 9am versus 3pm. We were very pleased as we were able to freshen up before touring beautiful Guanajuato. I would consider this place again.

Dated, but good, the buffet needs improvement

This is a nice hotel with some limitations, see below. We ended up parking our car at the hotel and taking a taxi downtown to explore. The front desk staff will call the taxi for you. The pool here is very nice and for kids a small pool just for them. A buffet breakfast is served in the morning but is pretty basic for 120 pesos. There is a small restaurant on site that has a nice variety of food as well. We spent 2 nights and enjoyed our stay.
