Reviewed Aug 24, 2026We had a suite on the top floor turret. Good size with views over the beach. Very friendly staff on reception and in the breakfast room. Very quiet other than the whistling of the wind in the room which i enjoyed. great location for walks on the beach
Hotel was fine but the surrounding concrete jungle of De Panne is ugly. It seems sad to have beautiful old buildings like the select hotel surrounded by ugly buildings.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026We absolutely loved the view at breakfast! The owners are super attentive and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and serve all you need and beyond! The pool was very beautiful and clean, modern and comortable spa zone looked nicely arranged. They even had infrared heater, whiched added cosiness and this chic effect. The swimming pool was warm and open till 22.00 and the saunas till 6 or 7 pm so after souna you can stat and lounge for a while.
We could not see a room with a double bed so we had to book a room with two single beds. They had been all booked I suppose. Othervise tiny things like a chipped cup in the room and a lost tie belt from one robe did not influence our very good impression. Hihgly recommended!
