מלון היסטורי בן 110 שנים, מתוחזק ברמה גבוה מאד. המיקום הכי טוב בהואה הין, ממש מרחק הליכה ממרכז העיר, קרוב למסעדות, ברים, מסאז ועוד הרבה. גישה לחוץ ים יפה מאד ובריכה מעולה. הצוות מעולה, נעים ועוזר בהכל. חדר כושר חדר ומשוכלל ברמה גבוה מאד וארוחות בוקר מגוונות ומעולות.

המלון היה בשיפוץ של הלוביה המרכזי. תחילה קיבלנו חדר באגף שכבר עבר שיפוץ אבל מסביב היה ניתן להרגיש את השיפוץ. למיטב הבנתי השיפוץ של הלובי, חדר האוכל והבריכה הגדולה מסתיים בתחילת דצמבר. לבקשתנו העבירו אותנו לחדרים הישנים יותר אבל המיקום היה מעולה והחדרים הישנים היו ממש טובים ואיכותיים.

Having stayed here in the past and knowing how fabulous it is, I was eager to stay here rather than the Holiday Inn resort which my children favoured. Sadly it wasn’t advertised as being under construction. I did like that the hotel upgraded us to club lounge once I’d complained that they should have advertised this at the time of booking.

It was under construction, the noise was loud, only two pools were available for use. For just a few pounds more we could have stayed at the Holiday Inn.

It is not a cheap option, but the quality and genuine class of hotel makes it good value. Breakfast again is an expensive option, but it is a very fine breakfast. The Gym was brand new and the first gym I have found in Thailand that had a full range of serviceable machines. Location is well placed within walking distance of the centre.

I cannot think of anything that I did not like, yes stopping out of season they were refurbishing part of hotel, but it caused no issue. The beach restaurant and live entertainment was OK rather than special for its price and so we walked to the centre and eat there.

Location, pools, large and comfortable rooms and lovely gardens.

Unfortunately building works to update the hotel were happening during our stay! Although we were put a good distance from the construction site you could still hear hammering, sawing etc and we were just unlikely to be there during construction schedule

Hua Hin est un Pattaya en devenir, ce qui veut tout dire: une succession de bars à prostitués et de salon de massage de même nature... On y croise de vieux Britanniques et Allemands bedonnants avec de jeunes Thaïs... La côte n'a aucun intérêt, mais vraiment aucun. L'hôtel en revanche est somptueux, du moins dans sa partie ancienne. C'est un lieu chargé d'histoire qui se suffit à lui-même (deux restaurants de qualité dont un japonais).

C'est temporaire, mais l'hôtel est en travaux ! Donc toute l'aile moderne (aucun intérêt) donne sur un immense trou et des grues ! Evidemment, aucun avertissement sur Booking... Pas trop de bruit, mais ça gâche le plaisir. Une chambre moderne dont le balcon donnait sur le chantier m'avait été attribué (faut être gonflé de les louer), mais j'ai pu obtenir une autre chambre dans la partie ancienne au charme incroyable. Donc ma colère est retombée très vite. Le salon de thé avec les pâtisseries ferme à 19h, ce qui est étonnant, et l'autre bar, vers 22h... C'est un choix curieux.

Tolles Frühstück, guter Service, bereits renovierte Zimmer auf einem top Niveau. Einfach ein tolles Ambiente, welches das Hotel ausstrahlt.

Der Poolbereich hätte etwas sauberer sein können. (Alte Blätter und Insekten). Die Terrasse vom Zimmer wurde gar nicht gereinigt. Das Hotel wird ständig saniert und modernisiert, dass passiert natürlich in der Nebensaison, dann muss man mit Baustellenlärm und reduziertem Poolangebot rechnen.

This is a beautiful historic hotel, and we really loved its authentic Thai style and character. The high ceilings and excellent insulation keep the rooms pleasantly cool and fresh, even on hot days, which was a special highlight for us. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the wood-fired oven pizza was particularly delicious.

It was not clearly communicated during the booking process that the hotel is currently undergoing significant refurbishment. While we understand that renovations are sometimes necessary, it would have been helpful to know this in advance. At another hotel, we received a 1,000 THB voucher to use at the restaurant as a gesture of apology for similar inconvenience, and we think something like this could be a nice addition here as well.

Wonderful historical resort on the beach. Could not be better situated. The staff are super helpful and pleasant.

There is much construction work being done, so a lot is closed off. It will be fantastic next year when it's finished, but is a bit limiting now.

Tout est parfait, l’accueil, la gentillesse du personnel, la jolie chambre avec un lit large et confortable, la petite confiserie laissée pour la nuit, les jardins de topiaires impeccablement entretenus, les oiseaux, les écureuils, la situation en bord de mer avec la plage de sable blanc, le petit déjeuner à un prix très raisonnable pour le choix, la proximité du marché de nuit qui est ouvert tous les jours. Cet hôtel a beaucoup de charme et a trouvé le juste équilibre entre le respect du passé et la modernité.

We had an upgraded room which was lovely, the pool areas are nice and the team working there were so helpful.

It is starting to look a little tired and in need of an upgrade, which they are slowly working on now.

ホテルの半分が改装中であり，お気に入りのエントランスは工事中で封鎖され入る事ができませんでした。改装状況説明が事前にないことは残念でした。改 いつもの朝食でしたが改装中で食事会場でなくいつもの素晴らしかった雰囲気は味わえませんでした。また、いつものメニューの豊富さも無かったと思います。

Klassinen ja tyylikäs hotelli, hieno sijainti lähellä mm. Night Market, paljon ravintoloita ja palveluita. Toinen kerta tässä hotellissa ja palaamme taas uudelleen.

Hotelli remontin alla osittain. Järjestelyt hoidettu moitteettomasti ja haitta oli pyritty aidosti minimoimaan. Lapsen lisävuode oli hänen mukaan epämiellyttävän kova.

落ち着いた雰囲気で、食事も美味しく、ナイトマーケットなども近くにあり、便利な立地なのに、リゾート感を存分に味わうことができました。またW杯を大きなシアターで世界各国からくる他の宿泊客と共に観戦できたのも、良い思い出になりました。

ヤモリ？の鳴き声に初めはびっくりしたけれど、これも南国ならではと思い、いつの間にか気にならなくなり、BGMとして寝ました。

A comfortable stay with excellent friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and comfortable and easily accessible. The hotel is in a great location, with the night market within walking distance. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well kept. The pool was clean and not overcrowded. Great variety of food at breakfast and no queues. The tea room was very charming too.

We were not aware when we booked that the hotel was undergoing significant renovation and was very noisy one morning at breakfast. The gym facilities were very small – likely because it had to be relocated due to the renovation. One pool was also out of action. Quite a few mosquitos in our room, although staff were helpful, providing spray and also arranged to spray the room.

Breakfast has always been a feature of a stay at the Centara and in spite of renovations that are still underway, the Breakfast remains a top quality feature. Staff in particular were excellent.

Given the ongoing major renovations that include significant expansion of the whole property, we were to some extent disappointed with the limitations that were unavoidable during our visit, compared to our previous 3 visits to this property. The staff made every effort to compensate for the limitations and we would visit Centara again without question.

Beautiful colonial style hotel in a great location surrounded by lush greenery and facilities are very good.

Currently a lot of construction work taking place and there is a make shift breakfast buffet which is decent with variety however due to the current works going on it just didn’t have that wow factor.

The Thai staff are brilliant - its not ok for them to have to endure unhappy customer who expected to come to such a magnificent hotel - to find themselves in the middle of a construction site.

It was a noisy construction site - the charm of the Hotel I loved and wanted to show my partner was not in the ball park. Very upset to have walked her into half a hotel with construction going on all around often past 9pm. Poor signposting to allow guest to access what was left of the hotel.

The breakfast was great and plentiful. Everyone was very welcoming. the nwhole resort gave me a feeling of total relaxation.

Obviously the renevation came as a bit of a surprise but it did not make the experiance any less enjoyable.

We liked the colonial style and the location of the property. We liked the choice of pools which allows patrons to spread out and keep somewhat quiet and relaxing atmosphere across the resort. Staff was polite and attentive.

Tres bel hotel de style colonial de tres haute qualité. Les chambres sont tres grandes et magnifiquement décorées dans un style Balinais tres rafine. L"hotel est dans le centre ancien de Hua Hin et donne directement sur la plage. L"hotel etait en travaux d'extension lors de notre sejour d'ou ma note generale de 8 sur 10 a cause se quelques nuisances.

Discrimination to the max

If you are a smoker stay away the discrimination here to smokers is not normal they say bars and restaurants are smoke free by law but if you walk 500 meters around this hotel smoking is oke in bars and hotels and restaurants so they are very discriminating to smoking people

The hotel is a living museum and is so well cared for, from the extensive gardens to the rooms themselves, it’s hugely impressive. I visited Grand Centara hotel in Hua Hin more than a decade ago and it felt like such a special place. Having the opportunity to stay here for a week was really a dream come true. The staff are utterly fantastic and cannot do enough for you, and the deal I got for the week was unbelievable. The Centara is truly an oasis of calm and tranquility set against the backdrop of a very vibrant town and the usual hustle and bustle of Thailand.

The hotel is undergoing renovation and in some places is showing its age. The management are very up front about this and the noise the nearby building site creates, but it doesn’t take away from the charm. The rooms are as true to they can be to their 1923 origins, which does mean plenty of “patina” on fixtures and fittings, but you cannot fault it for cleanliness.

A beautiful tranquil place in the heart of an exciting and exuberant town.

Leider gab es bei der Buchung bei Booking keinen Hinweis, dass im gesamten Jahr am Hotel und um das Hotel drumherum Renovierungsarbeiten stattfinden. Somit war der dritte Pool leider nicht nutzbar und zwischenzeitlich war der Baulärm (außerhalb der Hotelanlage) etwas störend.

Prachtige tuin,mooi zwembad .ik ben dol op dit hotel.♥Men komt regelmatig vragen of alles naar wens is.Depoetsvrouw komt in de vooravond vragen of ales ok is,bed openslaan.Koekje aan,bieden.Waar vind je dit nog ? This is our new favourite hotel! Breakfast with a view of the lawn is so tranquil. The swimming pool has lots of space and the design is interesting without being impractical. The staff are very helpful and friendly helping to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, viele verschiedene Angebote. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Ausreichend Liegen, auch im Schatten. Kurze Wege in den Ort, aber trotzdem ruhig.

Das erste Zimmer, das uns zugewiesen wurde, lag ganz am Ende der Anlage in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einer Großbaustelle. Aber nach Ablehnung dieses Zimmers wurde uns eines im Altbau (unrenoviert) zugewiesen, obwohl wir eine höhere Klasse gebucht hatten.

Been here five times now excellent staff and hotel, the breakfast is the best we have had in Thailand. Many thanks to the staff for making are stay so lovely.

As an older hotel with great character was the reason I chose this place however the air conditioning needs up graded not sufficient to cope with the heat very uncomfortable sleepless nights. Some work was being carried out at the hotel but didn’t really disrupt but some areas closed so didn’t get the full experience .A small light or candle would have been nice in order to sit out in the evening on my garden terrace . May stay again when further upgrades are made . But staff excellent and still a very beautiful hotel

le bruit causé par les travaux sur une partie de l'hotel et les villas.. je suppose que nous étions sur place pendant que des grues battaient des pieux par vibration. nous n'avons eu aucune information lors de notre réservation sur les travaux en cours . Une partie du personnel comprend partiellement l'anglais.

Breakfast

It was like living in the middle of a construction site. Pile driving was being carried out everyday even on a Sunday. This was due to Centara extending their hotel, meaning we lost over 50% of the grounds, two swimming pools, tennis courts and the closure of restaurants and coffee shop. It didn't help that right next door was a massive construction site where they are building luxury apartments. Centara should have told us when we booked and so should Booking.com. The site of Booking.com is still showing all the facilities as available when they are not. I was offered a 10% discount, which was an insult, but they said they would do that, still haven't seen it.

As always the staff are the stand out here.
