Staff named Namfon provided excellent service—friendly, attentive, and very professional. She made the whole experience pleasant. Highly recommended! 😊
The coffee is very delicious. The staff is very good. Starbucks namfon
The location is ideal as is situated right on the beach with easy and direct access from hotel blocks through the hotel grounds and beach club, and within 2 minutes from of some great restaurants and cafes from the hotel entrance - shout out to Cafe de Bang Tao. Our check-in at approx 10:30am was relatively smooth but ended tiring as we requested a possible early room check-in upon arrival due to long travel hours and hot temperatures to rest and freshen up, and was assured the reception and housekeeping were working to ready a room ASAP. However, we were disappointed to learn a room wasn’t available until much closer to the actual check-in time at 3pm. We had booked a double bed but were placed into a twin room - we didn’t raise this with reception due to tiredness and didn’t feel comfortable doing so from our initial check-in process. The room itself was large and spacious with great air conditioning and plenty of room for storage luggage, and clothing in the wardrobe etc, including good space in the bathroom. We found the room to be slightly poorly lit as there weren’t enough main or central lights on the ceiling in bed and bathroom. The rooms were clean however the rest of the facilities being questionable including the pool with visible layers of green and brown grime on the pool floor and walls, as well as the seats at the pool swim-up bar. There were also many children’s paddlers in the pool which almost all had a layer of brown grime on the bottom, always being submerged in the pool water. Good variety and amount of food and breakfast, however I wouldn’t recommend eating from the food pots from outside as there were ants crawling on the tables near the tong handles and the drinks station, and small birds freely fly around and above here. Very shortly after breakfast on day 3-4, I became very unwell with upset stomach, being sick and cold sweats, and had to stay in the room to rest for the next 2 days to recover - this was after only sticking to the indoor food selection throughout the stay. We ordered room service food for classic Thai which was very delicious though, and was delivered by friendly staff each time. We found overall service very much depended on individual staff members you interacted with including reception refusing us toilet roll when we had none left because we didn’t want our room cleaned earlier that day (apparently this conflicted with their environmental scheme), our initial check-in experience, and our final check-out experience involved reception calling up to the room to see if we had left anything, and was instructed to take a seat in the lobby for them to do this. We had waited close to 40 minutes whilst the same reception kept glancing at us, failing to communicate anything or notifying us until we had went up and was told they had confirmed this 5 minutes after checking out. Service from breakfast staff was very friendly, however other staff in the beach club and pool bar came across rather distant. I would highly recommend against booking this hotel and would not consider returning as overall service left a very sour taste and didn’t feel totally welcome along with unhygienic practices, despite the good location and various food options.
The best thing about this hotel is definitely its location – it’s close to everything, and the rooms are decent. Unfortunately, from there it goes steeply downhill. The pool area is in very poor condition. It is extremely worn, with clearly missing tiles, large cracks, and visible signs of mold around the drains, many of which are also broken. In the larger pool (around 120 cm deep), you can barely see the bottom because the water is so unclear and dirty. During our 14-day stay, we did not see any maintenance of the pool area at all – no cleaning and no visible addition of chemicals. No matter where you are in the pool, you cannot feel any water circulation, which makes it seem like the pump system is not functioning properly or is insufficient for such a large pool. Overall, the level of service from the staff is far below what you would normally expect in Thailand. There is very little effort to create a welcoming atmosphere, and the service is minimal at best. The breakfast is also far below the usual Thai standard – honestly quite disappointing. Would I return? Yes, to Bangtao – absolutely. But never to this hotel again. It is simply not good enough. There is a clear lack of ownership and care for the property, and they are not making use of the great potential and setting they actually have. The atmosphere and overall experience are just not there.
The views are absolutely beautiful, perfect beachside setting with a relaxed tropical vibe. The beach area was clean and well-maintained, making it a great spot to unwind while enjoying the food. A special thank you to Nikko, who provided excellent service-friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The reception team also deserves praise. Even though they were quite busy, they remained professional, accommodating, and ensured that everyone was assisted efficiently Overall, a fantastic experience with great service, stunning scenery, and a welcoming atmosphere.
This hotel delivered one of the most astonishing displays of incompetence I have ever encountered. We booked and fully paid in March 2025, received written confirmation, and trusted that our reservation was secure. Yet just two weeks before our arrival, the hotel abruptly cancelled everything — hiding behind a vague “system glitch” and overbooking as their excuse. Let’s be clear: this wasn’t a minor mistake. This was a complete operational meltdown. A hotel that cannot honour confirmed, prepaid reservations is a hotel that cannot be trusted at all. What made the situation even worse was their attitude. No real solutions. No urgency. No accountability. No attempt to fix the chaos they created. They simply left us stranded and expected us to deal with the consequences of their failure. The level of disregard shown toward paying guests is staggering. Reliability, professionalism, and basic respect for customers seem to be entirely absent here. If you value your time, your money, or even the slightest sense of security in your travel plans, stay far away from this hotel. Their behaviour wasn’t just unprofessional — it was careless, irresponsible, and utterly unacceptable.
We booked a pool access pool, pool view months in advance, when we arrived we were straight away told we had been given a complimentary upgrade to a garden view room , we complained saying we wanted the room we had booked and paid for. They then got the manager who told the truth saying they had overbooked and a lot of other people were in the same position, some HAVING to find another hotel and in no uncertain terms he said we can have the garden view room or find another hotel. We had no choice but to take the room, as it would be difficult to get another hotel at that point. The room was terribly set out with 3 beds, no where to sit and a very small area to hang /store clothes. The pool was dirty and cloudy , sun beds almost impossible to get .
Friendly staff with good pool facilities, particularly for family groups. Easy access to the beach, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Perfect for a holiday in Phuket if you want everything under one roof
Rooms are cool and spacious with good cleaning staff and options for not having your room cleaned the balcony was great not the best view but for what we paid it was amazing Breakfast was very international with different countries or continents with many options and amazing helpful staff The reception staff was also very helpful and the porter staff were great when we first arrived The favourite place was the pool bar tidy koh the staff was amazing a special mention too the lady yah who looked after us with her colleagues fern and aiw and toey was always helpful and food was amazing and great with fast service Also mention that the hotel has a night market with animals and local products for sale and hotel food The hotel was right on the beach so not even a walk to get their
We spend two weeks at Arinara Bangtao Beach in jan/feb 2026. All together this is a middle class hotel that has seen better days. On the good side: Super close to nice long beach with pretty clear water at this time of the year. Nice room with pool access. All hotel area, including the room are clean and tidy. Large selection at breakfast. Large pool area. On the bad side: Poorly kept hotel with broken umbrellas by the pool and worn out, dirty, sunbeds. Broken tiles in several pool areas. Difficult to find a place by the pool in the shade due to few umbrellas and sunbeds are taken in possession early in the morning by, mostly, Russian guests. Few people by the pool during the day, but no free sunbeds. It is not allowed to have a drink at the sunbeds, only in the poolbar. Poor quality of the breakfast, especially the cold dishes. Noisy breakfast area and understaffed with dirty tables and birds flying around indoors. Annoying that you are not allowed to bring food to the room from outside the hotel, but it is ok to order expensive food from room service. Everything costs extra. And a lot extra. The hotel price setting at Booking.com fools you with a price that claims to be 80% reduced. This hotel is not worth more than 200 Euros per night for two people in a double room. Even for this price, we expected more of this hotel.
This hotel cancelled our one week booking that had been reserved and paid for 6 months previously. They cancelled and refused to honour our booking despite it being a special birthday celebration. We ended up in a business hotel about half an hour away. We did visit the hotel during our stay in Bang Tao and there looked like there were empty rooms., so still unsure why they cancelled unless something to do with TUI takeover. I enjoyed a swim in the lovely pool and lay on a sunbed ( there were plenty available) Very annoyed at the cancellation. Ended up paying a lot more for an alternative hotel that booking.com are now refusing to refund the difference that they promised !!
We made a reservation at the Arinara Hotel already in spring 2025, planning to spend a week there in January 2026. As many others have written here, our reservation was also cancelled just three weeks before our arrival. As a replacement, we were offered a hotel that is not on the beach, is located in the middle of a construction site, and is even cheaper than Arinara on booking.com. We did not accept this and eventually received a refund. I am extremely disappointed and honestly astonished by the hotel’s way of handling this situation. The whole process felt highly unprofessional. We have visited Arinara once before, albeit very briefly, and the hotel made a very good impression, especially due to its excellent location. However, after this experience, it is very unlikely that we would dare to take the risk and make a reservation here again in the future.
Beautiful hotel Lovely staff Very clean Wonderful breakfast Overpriced drinks and food in the hotel area
Our experience with this hotel was nothing short of outrageous. We booked and fully paid for our stay in March 2025 and received written confirmation that everything was secured. Nine months later — just two weeks before our arrival — the hotel suddenly informed us that they were cancelling our reservation due to a supposed “system glitch” and because they had overbooked. This is not a minor mistake. This is a fundamental breach of trust and basic professionalism. To make matters worse, the hotel offered no real help whatsoever. I was forced to spend hours researching alternative accommodations on my own, all while dealing with slow responses and evasive communication. Only after persistent pressure and countless emails did they finally agree to cover the cost of the replacement hotel — something that should have been handled immediately and without debate. No guest should ever have to fight this hard to receive the bare minimum. If you value reliability, accountability, or even the most basic level of customer care, avoid this hotel entirely. Their handling of this situation was careless, unprofessional, and deeply disrespectful of their guests’ time and trust.
I have to share this experience with other travellers, who may be thinking of making a reservation at Arinara Beach Resort. Back in October 2025 I made a reservation for March 2026, staying 4 nights in a suite with pool access. Last week, January 2026 I received notification from Arinara that the resort cancelled my reservation, due to my request, and a full refund was going to be made. I initially thought that it was a scam but then the third party booking app also said that the resort had cancelled due to my instructions. I had made a reservation with a no refund clause, just to save a little money. I tried ringing the resort numerous times but no answer. I sent a number of emails to the resort explaining that I had never contacted the resort to cancel and please reinstate the reservation. I received back a somewhat lengthy email from the resort without giving any names of who sent the email, explaining that the resort received my email, an investigation was conducted to no result as to how my reservation was cancelled by the resort, but they were refunding me the entire amount. I did receive the entire amount after a few days into my credit card. Matter closed by the resort. No further reservations made to correct this action. Again I emailed and asked to reinstate my reservation and I haven't received any reply from the resort. I was actually shocked that a resort, business could cancel a fully paid for reservation without any explanation nor warning. I know that mistakes can be made however this can wreck a holiday. It was done without explanation other than a investigation was completed without any result. This review is to warn others to be careful with this resort, as the same may happen to your reservation.
Five-Star Beach, One-Star Room Roulette” We arrived at the Aranara in Phuket tired, sun-deprived, and dreaming of cocktails by a pool we could actually see from our balcony. It was only midday, but the staff cheerfully announced our room was ready — bonus! A lovely young lad whisked us and our suitcases off on what felt like a sponsored walk for charity through the resort. At the end of this epic trek, we turned right… and voilà: a room with a beautiful view of… not the pool we booked. We politely explained that this wasn’t our room. The poor lad phoned reception and was told (basically) “send them back.” So off we went again, suitcases in tow, like lost extras in a hotel-themed obstacle course. At reception we met the manager, who gave us the now-classic line: overbooking. Despite booking our pool-view room back in September, it had mysteriously vanished — presumably to a more lucrative guest. We were offered two choices: 1. Move to another hotel 15 minutes away (because nothing says “holiday” like repacking), or 2. Accept 4,000 baht in compensation — which could only be spent in their own bars and restaurants (how convenient). So we took the “here’s some money, please stay quiet” option and tried to swallow our irritation along with a cocktail or two. Now here’s the awkward part for a one-star review: the hotel is actually fantastic. The beach is stunning. The breakfast is glorious. The rooms are spotless. The staff (aside from the booking shuffle) are genuinely lovely. Once the disappointment faded, we slipped happily into holiday mode and had a wonderful four nights. So why the one star? Because this kind of room “musical chairs” shouldn’t happen — especially to guests who booked months in advance. It left a sour taste at the very start of what was otherwise a brilliant stay, and I can’t help wondering if this is a regular trick when a better booking comes along. In summary: Amazing hotel. Questionable booking ethics. Would I return? Probably — but next time I might bring a sleeping bag and set up next to the pool myself.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Our room had everything we needed in it. The one thing I miss is, the bed and the pillows. They were soooo comfortable, I have not slept right since getting back... My husband and I booked a garden view swim up pool for 2 weeks over the Christmas period. To be honest we kind of wish that we hadn't wasted our money booking this option as the pool was extremely cold due to lack of sunshine hitting the pool. We only used it twice for about 5 mins, the water was just too cold. If I had known what I know now we wouldn't have spent the money as the upgrade was very expensive at the time of booking ( I would have gone for a pool facing swim up ) The staff are all fantastic and very friendly. I always greeted everyone with swaddi kaaaa and a smile, you always got one back. The staff to me make this hotel, everyone from reception to garden maintenance. The staff are a credit to the hotel. My first impression of this hotel was wow I'm walking into paradise, the airy reception had a huge Christmas tree up and had Christmas music on to add to the holiday vibe. It was lovely. The grounds looked great at first but as time went on there are a few areas spotted that could do with a little TLC (maintenance/modernization) however this would not stop me from staying at this property again as it is in a great location with a huge pool. Breakfast was good. They changed the theme daily, I quite enjoyed eating an Indian curry for breakfast for a change. Good variety to choose from. From fresh fruit down to themed days.
Can someone please let me no if they do entertainment throughout December and where is it located please? Also is it worth going all inclusive when we arrive?
We had a great time here! The room was spotless and very large. We got the Deluxe Pool View and it was as described. The bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet. The bathrooms could use an upgrade, but everything was spotless and worked very well - including the shower (and I have long hair). The balcony was lovely after a long day at the beach. The pools are pretty spectacular and the temperature was perfect. Don't want to spend the day at the pool? No problem! The beach is just steps away and was beautiful. Arinara does not have it's own beach beds, but a short walk away you can rent one for 100Baht a day or $3USD from some lovely locals - added bonus here is that they have a restaurants, bathrooms and bars ;) Breakfast was amazing with an incredible selection of options. I highly recommend the fresh fruit and the fresh breads they offer. There are two onsite restaurants that I would give mixed reviews for - my advice is to stick to the Thai food at these. But if you are looking to expand there is are options just steps from the main entrance or on the beach. This is a great place for kids as well. We saw quite a few families with kids of all ages and they seemed to be having a great time. There is a kids pool, play ground and indoor play room - as well as activities. We did not participate in the daily activities offered, but they looked well attended. the staff was warm, attentive and very helpful from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this place and will likely be back.
The hotel is nice, with a good pool area. Yeen in the kids club was really nice, and our kids loved creative projects with her.
I stayed here with my wife for 3 nights at the start of our first ever trip tp Thailand. Wow! This hotel was really amazing! We knew upon booking that there were some renovations taking place and are prepared for some disruption. However, the only signs of works we saw/heard were, the activity Pool was closed for retiling and there was one block of apartments closed which we heard occasional drilling from (not a problem at all!) Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming smile and given a welcome drink. We were informed that our room was not quite ready (we arrived around mid morning), we were then offered a place tp store our bags, shown where we could change and eat and offered pool towells. During our stay we ate at the pool bar - (lovely hawaiian pizza(not GF) and chicken fried rice. The buffet restaurant - which had a great variety of options including western and Thai options and some Gluten Free! The Beach Restaurant - VERY YUMMY!! We ate here all 3 nights and could not recommend enough! Lovely friendly atmosphere and beautiful setting by the sea front. My favourite was the pesto spaghetti with king prawn, and my wife's was Pinapple chicken. The pools were clean and calm, may be less calm in height of the season of course. Absolutely all staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough to help make your stay more comfortable. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We stayed in a pool access room with Pool view. The pool access was easy with steps down into the pool and loungers on your own patio for drying off, i enjoyed a swim here on a couple of occasions. I honestly can not reccomend this hotel enough! The fish at reception that you could feed by getting food from the coin machine, was a beautiful touch!
It is more like a 3.75... place a bit far from everything ... unless you want to chill in the resort only. The rooms are superb with mostly pool facing , given the structure of the resort. Breakfast is decent.
Our family of four (two adults and two children, ages 7 and 13) stayed at Arinara Beach Resort for four nights during our very first trip to Thailand, and it truly exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and the warm Thai hospitality was evident throughout our entire stay. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a pool access room, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Having direct access to a private pool area was an absolute dream — the kids couldn’t get enough of it! They spent hours splashing around while we relaxed on the sun loungers right outside our room. The setting was peaceful and beautifully landscaped, with views of lush gardens and a serene fish pond that added a lovely tropical touch. Our room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, featuring two large king-sized beds that comfortably accommodated our family. The bathroom was spotless, well-lit, and stocked with quality toiletries, while the housekeeping team did an exceptional job maintaining everything throughout our stay. A huge thank you to the Housekeeping team (especially Pang), who made sure we always returned to a fresh and tidy room, complete with replenished amenities, bottled water, and neatly folded towels. We were equally impressed by the food and beverage offerings at the resort. Every meal we had — whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner — was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet had an extensive variety, from Thai dishes and made-to-order omelets to fresh fruit, pastries, and coffee. We also loved dining at the beachfront restaurant, where we could enjoy our meals with the sound of the waves in the background. Prices were very reasonable for a resort of this standard, and the service was consistently warm and attentive. Special thanks to Lena, Gigi, Jane, RJ, and Thrang from the F&B team for making each dining experience delightful. One of the most memorable gestures came from Karen at the front office, who offered us a complimentary poolside breakfast — such a thoughtful touch! Sadly, we had to cancel due to unexpected rain, but the offer itself spoke volumes about the resort’s hospitality. Karen, along with Bud, Pang, Yam, and Moo from the reception team, went above and beyond to assist with every request, from booking activities to arranging taxis and local recommendations. Their professionalism and kindness made everything effortless for us. For relaxation, I treated myself and my daughter to a 1-hour in-room massage, and it was heavenly. The therapists were skilled, professional, and created a calm, spa-like atmosphere right in our room. It was incredible value for money and one of the most relaxing parts of our trip. Our children also had a wonderful time at the Kids Club, where Peach did an amazing job keeping them entertained with crafts, games, and fun activities. It gave us a chance to unwind by the pool while knowing they were in safe hands and having the best time. The resort grounds are beautifully maintained, full of lush greenery and tropical flowers, creating a serene environment everywhere you go. There are multiple pools to choose from — a large main pool with plenty of loungers, a kiddies’ splash area that’s great for younger children, and a jacuzzi pool for those looking to relax. The beachfront area is another standout feature: clean white sand, gentle waves, and a lovely beachfront bar where we enjoyed cocktails while watching the sunset. On our last night, we were lucky enough to see a fire show on the beach next door, which was a spectacular and unforgettable way to end our stay. The location of Arinara Beach Resort is ideal — set right on the beautiful Bangtao Beach and within easy walking distance of small local shops, massage parlors, and cozy restaurants. While we mostly dined on-site because the food was excellent, it was nice having other options nearby for a quick walk and a change of scenery. Overall, Arinara Beach Resort impressed us in every way — from the thoughtful touches and friendly smiles to the comfortable accommodation and excellent facilities. The attention to detail, the cleanliness, and the sense of calm throughout the resort made our stay truly special. Despite a few rainy afternoons, we made wonderful memories as a family and left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning our next visit. Thank you, Arinara Beach Resort, and all your incredible staff, for making our first trip to Thailand so unforgettable. 🌴🇹🇭 We can’t wait to come back!
Love Bang Tao area old school Thailand restaurants right on the sand awesome little village
Visited in September 2025 (off-season). Check-in was smooth with a welcome drink, and the receptionist was friendly and spoke good English. We stayed in a Deluxe Double with pool view — spacious room, and the baby cot I requested in advance was already set up, which was very thoughtful. Toiletries were basic (shampoo, body wash, shower cap, towels), with other items like slippers, bathrobes, toothbrushes, and iron/board available free on request via the hotel app (some items may have a charge). Adapters were provided at the front desk with a refundable deposit. There was some daytime noise from renovation work, but that’s expected in off-season. Breakfast had a wide spread, though it could use more authentic Thai options. Part of the pool was under renovation, but the kids’ pool area was still open and enjoyable. Dinner at “The Beach Phuket” restaurant was a highlight — nice mix of Thai and Western dishes in a relaxing setting. The resort also offers direct beach access, a kids’ playroom and play area, plus a Starbucks on-site. Overall: A pleasant and comfortable stay. Great facilities for families, friendly staff, and a relaxing vibe despite some renovation works.
I was amazed with the hotel services thanks to Karen and Nikko for assisting me the smooth process for check in and patient with my inquiries. The restaurants and their food were delicious. Thanks to Nikko who welcomed and assisted me sharing food recommendations . I highly recommend this resort for family and lovers who prefer quite and peaceful experience in Phuket.
The place is a construction site not hotel. One pool is closed - we were never informed this during booking or confirmation email. Also they are renovating rooms next to the open pool - also never informed of this during the booking process. The whole time you can hear banging and an angle grinder cutting tiles. Can not relax in this hotel - never stay here. Food is over priced, pool is not safe - tiles loose and sharp. Did not stay here.
I have stayed at Arinara a number of times now and the premises is situated very conveniently to Catch beach club, the sea and other restaurants on the beach. The staff are welcoming on arrival. The rooms are large. I ordered a pool access room, which was very clean and in good condition. One thing though, the tiles on the outside patio leading to the pool access are extremely slippery when wet. The food at breakfast is excellent and provides everything a person would want. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Most can speak if not understand English to a certain extent. I guess I must be impressed as I have again booked a holiday there for next year.
This is a poor hotel with little management. The rooms: disgusting and mouldy, paint flaking off the walls, shower broken on arrival and filthy. Grouting missing from bathroom fixtures, the balcony doors do not even fully shut leaving a big gap, also the swim up pool was disgusting and fllthy, looked onto broken air conditioning units and wiring not a garden view in sight. We had 3 rooms and we were all disappointed as this was not a cheap hotel. Also the rooms are noisy from all angles especially the dark dingy corridors the house the rooms. There are major reservation works going on which was not communicated when I booked the hotel. The location the hotel is terrible and the area is one big building site, with people living in squaller within 3 minute walk if the hotel, the beach is like a rubbish tip and is run down with local, run down sheds, and people selling overpriced chap, it's pretty disgusting, if you had arrived at any other location in the world you would be devastated!! The hotel swimming pools are disgusting and falling to peices in all areas, even with fungus growing on the stairs to the kids slides. These areas are not fit for purpose and are just poor management, similar to the rooms, people are just not doing there jobs! The hotel is over priced and the pool bar is a joke,it should not be open even, it's really false advertising as a place of holiday. The hotel needs to be shut, and refurbished around pool areas, and the work around the hotel is even noisier than the hotel, the area is going to be under major construction for some time to come, i would head somewhere else but you are booking anything. There are more negatives to this place but I think that would just look rude, and unfair on the happy lively staff we encountered, also the sunsets are lovely if the weather is ok. The local bars do serve good food, which is reasonably priced, and there was some fun stuff to do in the area. I spent a week in another resort as part of this trip, and it was everything I was looking for in Thialand, this place is a bad advert, and unless you are looking to smoke marajawana all day, look else where. Over and out......
Amazing stay at Arinara. The hotel is great, the layout is perfect in the horse shoe shape with the pools in the middle. A beach bar next to the first pool and bar/restaurant further down leading to the beach. The private pools for your room are great I would recommend getting an outside room as your pool will be completely private great for late night dips. The food at the restaurant is honestly 10/10. You can walk straight out onto the beach from the hotel then walk down left or right to various bars and restaurants. I recommend Nomad for the fire show and also the food is amazing. In terms of convenience you have everything you need on the street at the front of the hotel including more restaurants, massage parlours, desks for buying trips, convenience stores, bars. It offers a quiet village feel with cars and bikes rolling past slowly. Honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough and we’re quite fussy and we’re sure what to expect. For trips further afield the taxis are extremely cheap you almost feel bad for the drivers. Just download “Grab” to easily book taxis to your location it gives you the price upfront. You can get anywhere in Phuket for £5-10. Thank you Arinara🙏
Love the access to the soft sandy beach. The pool side rooms added a perfect touch. Happy Hour drinks are the best!
The Hotel was lovely it got everything my family needed and some more. The staff was extremely kind too. They helped us change the bedding middle of the night for one of my children. They even surprised us witv a birthday cake for my husband what was extremely lovely
This hotel has so much potential because of the beautiful location on the beach, but it's needs a renovation to the rooms and the pool area. The roofs outside and the pool area were dirty, which definitely took away from the vibe of having a luxury vacation in Thailand. Also another thing I did not like were the extra charges. If you misplace your plastic hotel key they charge you $500 baht which is around $15 usd which is ridiculous. Also you have to wear a rubber bracelet when you are at the pool so they know you are a guest there and if you misplace that it's also another $500 baht. We were a family of 5 with 2 rooms so I was constantly try to make sure everyone had there bracelets and room keys. I agree with some of the other reviews regarding the front desk staff. They were not friendly or accommodating . At check in we asked if we could get late check out in at least one of our rooms and was told no. So later on I checked with a different staff member and they were able to accommodate us. Of course we had to pay which was I expected but I guess the first person we asked just couldn't be bothered. When I booked this hotel I was hesitant because of the mixed reviews. I wish I would have booked somewhere else.
.
From Room 5110 – My family booked the Pool Access category. Unfortunately, the pool water was not circulating, leaving it dirty and covered with bird feathers. About 5–10 minutes after checking in, I took pictures of the pool and informed the receptionist who had checked us in, requesting to move to another room since we hadn’t used anything yet. She refused, saying all Pool Access rooms were fully booked, and her manner was unfriendly and unhelpful. This attitude upset me even more than the dirty pool itself. When we asked if it might be possible to move the next day, she did not check availability, attempt to resolve the issue, or offer an apology. Instead, she simply suggested sending housekeeping and engineering to inspect the pool, speaking with an impolite expression. On the positive side, the public swimming pools are large and offer enjoyable activities for the kids. The bar staff at the beach club are also friendly and welcoming.
The second you walk into Arinara beach resort Phuket you feel exploited and instantly disappointed with the over charging and poor service. Small beer 180 (AU$9). Pizza 690 (AU$35). Pool lounge 2000 min spend at your own hotel. The list goes on. Facilities are 3 star at best which makes the over charging so hard to tolerate. I would be fine with the facilities if prices matched. Koh samui was much better. Do not come here.
Lovely hotel and lovely food. But They were renovating rooms in the hotel which we weren’t notified about until we arrived. The noise went on from 8am until 5pm every day. Drilling, banging, sawing. It actually spoilt our holiday. Had I known this in advance i would if changed my hotel. Im sure this work could of been done in low season
We enjoyed our stay at Arinara! We loved our swim out room. The property reminded us of some of the resorts we’ve stayed at in the Caribbean! The breakfast buffet was delicious! The staff are very accommodating as well. If you’re looking for a resort feel in Phuket, we recommend Arinara!
Best family hotel in Bangtao. Great facilities, good breakfast, friendly staff and an amazing location. Highly recommend. I will come back. See you soon ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It was a fantastic resort with many facilities. Good for families, the pool access is amazing. The staff are all friendly and cheerful. We were so surprised to find a small chocolate cake. The hotel celebrated my son's birthday and this is what they will do for the guests. I will definitely return again. You have both the beach and the pools at your convenience. Dining options nearby is great and we love Blu Wave restaurant. My whole family love staying at Arinara.
The most expensive accommodation of our Thailand stay and the worst. Old run down room. View of shop roof tops. Dark dingy corridor to room. Treck to the pool. Hotel in middle of no where. Avoid. So many cheaper and nicer places to stay.
Great view from the where we stayed with top floor balcony, breakfast was fantastic, great care of cleanliness to rooms, probably suitable for young families.
This resort is a good combination of family friendly and Thai culture, but misses the mark in a few areas. The resort itself is a little old, but currently they are doing some renovations to update some of the rooms. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. The breakfast was included, but average. There is a Starbucks on site as well. The pool bar is not overly exciting and beers are overpriced, even by resort standards. 190 Bhat for local, Thai beer. The beach is decent, nice sand, and lots of space for a morning or sunset walk; however, the ocean here in July is a bit rough with 2-4’ waves constantly making it fun to play in but difficult to just swim or relax. The local area around the resort is very limited with a few restaurants and local shops being available. All in all, a good 5 day vacation/stay, but not somewhere I’d visit again.
The resort is beautiful and well kept with good amenities (gym, Starbucks, direct access to beach, etc). We found that the beds and pillow were hard but some guest may prefer this. The pool was enjoyable with lots of poolside loungers to choose from. The breakfast had many options with Thai options and traditional breakfast items (french toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage, etc). Overall we enjoyed our stay.
So this was our second time staying in this resort!goes without saying first time was an amazing experience so we decided to come back to this one,but to our disappointment this time we were given a room with a very pathetic view🙁.our room overlooked what looked like a swamp.nevertheless we stayed there just for a night before moving to Bangkok so we enjoyed rest of the amenities in resort. This resort has an amazing pool and private beach which is extremely neat and clean.we booked this resort coz of airport being nearby.rooms in the resort are too big with 2 huge king sized beds..family of 4 can easily stay in the room which is extremely huge with quite decent toilets.. last year we got a room overlooking the pool which was way better..it has villas with pvt pool also which we didn’t see the point in booking since resorts pool is way better.it has 2 huge restaurants and a Starbucks outlet also near the beach which was really good.has a dedicated play area for kids which our kids thoroughly enjoyed.
The hotel was ok, staff were friendly. The food tasted ok.
A great swimming pool and access to the beautiful beach. Pool access room was gorgeous and spacious. Loved staying there.
Bang Tao Beach is the best. Quiet chilled vibe - the beach front sofa area very relaxing - swim up pool bar great - DJ every evening til 9pm - low season. Very clean resort spacious rooms. Pool access room huge - we loved it. Big breakfast buffet but I must admit I’ve never had curry on a breakfast buffet before but many other options. Made to order omelette was nice. Hotel directly on the beach which was great for beach walks. Quiet location but bolt taxi ride around £3 to Boat Avenue with lots of restaurants bars and boutiques and supermarkets alongside a mini mall type area. Very different from the Patong area which is a little crazy so overall loved this retreat and would definitely stay here again.
Upon arrival at Arinara beach resort 9am we couldn’t check in till 2pm so we asked if we could pay for early check in 500baht per hour so as we had been awake for a long time and were tired we said we would pay this. We had to still wait and when we saw the location and room we said we will wait for the original room that was allocated as it was better situated for us We did end up falling asleep in the reception area which didn’t look good from a hotel prospective We had been for a walk to check out where our room was and it was ready around 10 am so why couldn’t we just be given the keys to this room as it was low season and not busy we paid for early check in so we couldn’t see the issue really (the hotel refunded our payment as we didn’t accept first room) We had the keys for our room at 1pm The room was spacious and beds were very big and comfortable We did have to ask for extra items as there was 3 adults and it was only set up for two people which I find strange when the room accommodates 4 people anyway? The hotel is situated in a good area on the beach and close to shops and restaurants that are well priced I can recommend Mama Mia across the road from the hotel great food We did eat at the pool bar at lunchtime prices were as expected for hotel but food was nice The restaurant in a morning had plenty of choice only down Sid for me omelette and fried eggs were cooked in advance and were cold so I asked for fresh to be cooked The pool area is clean and tidy although the pool has tiles missing and some are sharp if you catch you on them so maybe this needs to be sorted as soon as possible as possible I must say that our house keeper was fantastic she was so happy and friendly and did a fab job every day We noticed when it was her two days off there was a difference toilet rolls missed just a small thing but needed Our housekeeping lady was called Saw we looked forward to talking to her every day what a lovely lady Overall this hotel is worth a visit and we would recommend it to family and friends and would go back as location is good and Phucket is only 45minutes away Also they are renovating rooms
Stayed here for 1 week beginning of june, booked through TUI Hotel check in was swift and suitcases taken to the room. Room - Mine was a first floor room with balcony overlooking the pool. Luckily enough it was an end one so only had 1 direct neighbour next to me. I was above a swim up room which did have a noisy family at one stage but they left within 2 days and peace was restored 😁 The room was VERY big and I was pleasantly surprised. 2 big beds, a smaller type chez lounge, plenty of wardrobe space, a safe (free), fridge, dressing table, tv and a good size walk in shower room. The balcony had a clothes dryer rack and table/chairs. No complaints at all with space and cleanliness. Pool area was good with swim up bar, a kids pool and a slide. Plenty of sunbeds but hotel didn't seem overbusy anyhow. Nice couple of bars and restaurants around pool area that looked good but I didn't eat there. I did get a couple of drinks in the week which were fine but as others have said they were a bit more expensive than outside the hotel. Breakfast was very good with hot and cold food plus an egg station for cooked to order omelettes etc. Plenty of drinks too including juices. There are restaurants along the beach and at the front of the hotel if turning right, had lovely food from Mamma Mias. 7 - 11 is further on along with souvenir shops and travel agents. Chemist is a few doors down from the hotel if needed but we found it to be dear. There's a taxi office next to the chemist too. The staff that we encountered at the hotel were fantastic. Always greet you with a smile and were very polite. Special thanks to Alatt (not sure if spelling is right) at the pool who kindly gave me his umbrella as it began to rain heavily. Weather wasn't great while we were there but we still had a fantastic time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and we all agreed that we would hopefully be returning this year or early next year.
Great staff, great location about 39 to 45 mins from Phuket Airport. Breakfast has good selections. Rooms is spacious, AC was cold. Beach is not private, but not an issue. Check in and out was great. Pools were big and beach area was good too. Will be back.
The Tid Koh pool bar staff were exceptional. Nong, Toy,Joe & Yah all went above and beyond . Chef Chaiwat prepared the most delicious authentic Thai meals and was very accomodating to our requests.
Good in customer service, fast in order, the beach resort is very lovely and beach makes us fully relaxed. John and his friend are very friendly and nice guy. Everything is PERFECT✨
Had a fantastic dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really made the visit special was the excellent service from Nikko. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Highly recommend this place, and big thanks to Nikko for making our meal even more enjoyable!
BOAT, JAMES were great bar staff, they made us feel very welcome. Made us feel welcome the first day we got here, great job they do , What a great service from JOHN and NAY NAY also made us feel welcome. Very polite and respectful . Great service from YAH help out with everything great service, gave us some advice on some things to do around the area made us feel welcome. How clean is the beach and bar. Staff are all over willing to help. Always polite. Rooms are great size and clean.
What a fantastic time I had at this resort for the 10 nights i was here. Facilities were absolutely clean and tidy at all times. I would like to give some praises to some bar staff. James and Boat are really fantastic people and great at their job. Most genuine gentlemen and very respectful. Also a massive shout out to John, NayNay at the restaurant as they are really great and friendly. Also the assistant manager Yah for being so welcoming and friendly plus always looking after our family holiday as well as the follow names i have mentioned. The Beach Restaurant is a brilliant place to eat at the evening as well as the day. Meals are very tasty and affordable, this is located in front of the beach which makes the restaurant excellent while eating your meal with a fantastic view. All staff in restaurant are very friendly and welcoming.
A family friendly resort with amenities for all.
Great stay, very nice hotel and great service.
So I checked in and was told if you supported the green plan ie, no cleaning no towel change no bedding change or make up etc you would receive a 200 bhat voucher to spend on what turned out to be an expensive hotel, turns out you don t get any loo roll complimentary bottle of water or a coffee sachet. Which Cost 16 baht, after complaint to the staff I got no joy, so you sacrifice the petty minimal stuff for two days and only find that out when you request loo roll, my room was on the third floor near the lift which through the day and night rang at each stop bing bong morning noon and night, tiled floors with huge gaps on the bedroom door meant you where never gone have a restful sleep, the bedroom door had a gap of about 1/2 an inch down the side and head and about an inch on the bottom so whatever happened outside on the landing you were involved, the food beer and drinks compared to local bars was expensive, for instance 4 small Leo and one large came to 1840 Bhat in English £42 ish, to sum up lovely lovely Thai people as ever but well overpriced and a ridiculous green policy, saving on the linen towel’s time and labour is a great saving for the hotel but to then refuse a loo roll is pathetic !!! on a positive the breakfast was great
A very enticing lobby area leading to a beautiful and well laid out hotel with great amenities and amazing staff. Karen from the front desk made sure we didn't wait too long and we also got an upgrade. Nikko from the restaurant was a mountain of information. The cleaners made sure our room was cleaned everyday. Great customer service at the Starbucks. The whole experience made for an awesome holiday. Arinara we will surely miss you!
Arinara Beach Resort is amazing, the welcome we received was above and beyond. From the front desk, to the cleaners, the waiters, everyone was always smiling, made us feel welcomed. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds and pillows, the food was absolutely amazing. Nikko at The Beach bar was top notch, so was the security. This holiday was amazing and I will be returning.
Our waiter named Nikko is very accommodating, he is also a filipino and we are comfortable to communicate with him, our communication became easier because we are of the same nationality. Next time when I come back in Phuket, I will visit Arinara again. Good ambience and relaxing place with great sunset view. Kodus!!!
The hotel is beautiful, has facilities for young children and its accessible to many places
The property is beautiful, smart and safe
They called the cops and forced me to pay charges based upon a policy they could not provide the details of despite a clear policy to the contrary. since i signed the check in form that i would somehow know all of their policies, I was forced to give my credit card or be arrested.
The pool access room is too big for a couple.2 Queen size bed is a waste. They should do a connecting room for bigger family to stay.
The hotel is very clean and the staff are very polite and helpful. However, as a hotel resident I don’t understand why they apply any charge for a sunbed on the beach. This was very disappointing
We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a fantastic experience overall. The hotel has such a warm, friendly vibe and is brilliantly located—right on the beach with plenty of shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Be sure to stop by the nearby 7/11 and try the chocolate lava cakes… absolutely delicious! Getting around was incredibly easy. While Uber isn’t available, the Grab app works just like it and was very convenient. Most of our journeys cost between £5–£10, even for trips over an hour—super affordable! Our room overlooked the garden at the back, which was peaceful, but in hindsight, we wish we’d upgraded to one of the pool-facing rooms—they looked amazing. The hotel itself was spotless and very well maintained. Housekeeping came daily and did a great job. One minor downside was the fixed shower head, which made rinsing off beach sand a little tricky, but this was quickly sorted by the attentive housekeeping team. The only real issue we had was when my wife felt unwell for a couple of days after eating outside the hotel. As we were all-inclusive guests, I asked if I could take a couple of pizzas back to the room for her, but was told no—apparently takeaway food was only available for non-all-inclusive guests. I was advised to either pay for room service or bring in food from outside, which was discouraged at check-in. I ended up ordering McDonald’s, but felt this situation could have been handled with more flexibility and care. That said, the all-inclusive food was generally excellent, though after a couple of weeks, it did become a bit repetitive. Luckily, there are lots of restaurants nearby to add variety. All in all, we had a really lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Perfect for a relaxing getaway with great service, beautiful surroundings, and easy access to everything you need.
I booked an airport pickup through the resort which is far more expensive than halling a cab from the street - not really complaining about this, but they didn’t even book the taxi for me! I show up at the airport with my family and no one is there to meet us!! No refund. No apologies… The resort also has a scam where you put a card on your door indicating that you don’t need your room serviced that day and they say you will credit you 200 baht per day as a thank you. I expected this to be added onto my bill as I took advantage of this on four of the seven nights that we were there. I was told at the end of the stay that the 200 baht credit note can only be given when requested on the day it happens from the front desk - this was definitely not communicated to us at the time of check-in!!! Most staff at the hotel are also not friendly and do not say hello when you pass them, which is really unusual in Thailand…
Best holiday ever all staff pang our domestic & John and James Bond and crew at the beach bar 💯 all the other staff and Jayne at the restaurant All the staff at the pool bar the hotel I would say 5* from the delicious freshly made food to the delicious drinks absolutely amazing cannot fault anything the Thai and Burmese people ect are wonderful and friendly people I really hope to return oneday the private beach is stunning and safe the boat trips we booked just outside the hotel on the beach to the left highly recommended very honest and fair prices this hotel is spotless everywhere beautiful pool allsorts for kids to do indoor air con play area the beds are crisp white bedding and comfortable pillows and beds this holiday experience has been 💯
We stayed in building 1 in a pool access room. The room was very old and not well maintained. The TV is literally from the 90’s and the mosquito problem should really be managed. The air conditioning was super old too. The resort forbids you from bringing outside food which is hard when you are traveling with a toddler who likes to snack all day. We did love the playground and kids clubs at the resort, but again, the indoor play structure need to be updated. Although the staff were all very lovely and helpful, I would not recommend staying here.
This was the first time we had been to Thailand . Everyone we met had recommend going and we like a quite location but not too quite , near the beach , so we chose this hotel and location on that basis. Our package for two weeks included breakfast so we ate outside in the evenings. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and the positives far outweighed the negatives however I will cover both sides purely so others are aware. POSITIVES The location is great , right on the beach which in March was not crowded and always clean. Outside the hotel literally one minutes walk are three restaurants which all serve great food . Bang Toa is lovely , not crowed and feels like a village. The breakfast buffet offers great food , of course they don't have full English , but why should they , they have a selection of thai dishes , an egg station where you can get scrambled or omelettes and lots of sweet savoury dishes nearby. Lots of choice of juices , yoghurts , fruit , breads , pancakes , pastries , hot drinks and local sausages , bacon ,tomatoes beans etc etc. I can personally say this was probably the best choice and setting I ever came across , and never busy as there are so many seats. If you have young children they even have a separate buffet area. The pool is huge its divided up into sections but never busy and has loads of lovely sunbeds always available. There is also a pool bar with a happy hour 4pm to 6pm and you can order pizzas etc, The room was amazing in terms of size . We had a garden view room on the third floor which had great beds, superb bathroom with a huge walk in shower , always hot water and large cupboard spaces for clothes and a large safe. The air conditioning was great and always cold and free. The room had a large balcony with two chairs and a table plus a wooden rack for drying towels etc. If I had kids with us I would have gone for a ground floor room with little self contained pool area which they would have loved. The TV had about half a dozen English speaking channels and a channel that showed live football matches including English premiership games. The staff were lovely , the front desk very helpful , and the maid that cleaned our room always left it spotless every day with clean towels and two bottles of water. I was surprised you get two bottles very day , even if you haven't used up the previous days supply. There is a mini fridge with freezer section to store them if you wish , there are other drinks in the fridge plus chocolate but we never used them s we always went outside. There is a lovely bar area on the edge of the beach where we went in the evenings to see the sunset and have cocktails at about 190 BAHT , so reasonably priced between 5pm and 7 pm with a DJ as well. We used the free games rooms with table tennis and pool table , which were super cold. We had a couple of times we missed breakfast , for example the journey back to UK, and the hotel kindly supplied us with takeaway breakfast boxes which was very thoughtful. Finally whenever we wanted new pool towels we went to reception and they were delivered immediately to our room. NEGATIVES When we arrived by Tui flight it was 8am on a Saturday morning. Officially rooms were not available to 2.00 pm . Reception booked us in and said what are room numbers were , but told us people could check out up to 12.00. They took our luggage and gave us pool towels and said we could sit by the pool. At about mid day I checked with the desk and the manager on duty said we would be given priority on available rooms and not the original rooms that were allocated. However ultimately we were then reallocated the original room numbers and after many conversations with reception finally got into our rooms at 2.20 pm , which is unacceptable. Also in my view they could have allowed us to have breakfast on arrival as they must have known we were going to leave early on our last day , pick up time 6.05 am and miss out then. The garden room views were very poor. Our room looked down on a garden area that was in the process of having many trees cut down and had been left untidy . Also to the left was a very untidy yard. The other couples room looked directly on to the yard which had lots of rubble including a broken toilet . There are no sunbeds on the beach expect ones that require you to spend a minimum spend of 1000 bht. Likewise there were large beds by the pool but require a minimum spend of I think 2000 bht . In the two weeks I was there no one used them, We, like most other guests went to other places next door on the beach where you could get two beds plus shade for 250bht all day . Finally no one uses the bars at night , there is a DJ but everyone seems to go elewhere and there is therefore no atmosphere . Observation One other observation there is very little information given out by the hotel , there was no handbook in the room , so had to discover things such as the games room , how the tv equipment worked and what channels we had. We also discovered they done Thai cookery classes but only after we had booked another one , and they also had a private boat you could hire with crew , This we only discovered on our last day and would have gone to Banana beach on it if we had known. It had stood empty for two weeks on the sea. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and we would go back.
The room was very spacious and great to have pool access from our balcony (we got the Sun late afternoon in block 4) Only issue we had was clothes storage - only 6 hangers for both of us and no drawers. We noticed a lot of rooms that did the same as us and kept clothes in the suitcases on the floor. Apart from that the room was lovely, great shower and lovely beds. The breakfast was great too with plenty of choices to suit all tastes. Access to the beach was good too. We’ve been to Bang Tao area before and love Boat Avenue for shopping and eating out, we went for the Friday market and called a Grab taxi for about £5 Lots of restaurants near by too - our favourite was Crave All in all a great holiday - we shall definitely return to Phuket again
We stayed at the Arinara Beach Resort Hotel for two weeks and we loved it. Lovely room - thank you for absolutely good service and housekeeping JEAB, KUNG and FREN. Welcoming staff, fine breakfast and great surroundings. We hope to go back sometime.
We really enjoyed our stay at Arinara. We love the staff, the location, amenities, our room everything! We would definitely choose Arinara again when we come to Phuket next.
We loved our stay at Arinara! Really appreciate the call and quiet location but also convenient. The staff was lovely and attentive with any requests we had. Special mention to Marin and Moon at the reception. Thank you so much for the amazing service and beautiful welcome. Always smiling and helpful. We are so happy we stayed at Arinara with our children and enjoyed a lovely vacation in Phuket. The buffet provided a great selection and each morning we look forward to starting our day there. Thank you so much and we would definitely book Arinara again when we return to Phuket. Thank you.
Tonight went to a honeymoon celebration in this hotel. I did not spend the night there but I was really impressed for the total picture they provide. Clean, beautiful hotel with very helpful people. The staff tends to your every need and tries to keep everybody happy. Excellent!!!
We spend our holiday here at the Arinara Hotel and we loved the view beach view mostly the sunset try to see the sunset with delicious drink i recommend Maitai and Mojito special mention to Nikko thankyou for the recommendation and taking care in our stay we really loved your service
Stsy ok, except i brought home bedbugs from the room. Room 5216, 10 day stay from dec 2 to 12, 2024. So, so ANGRY!!
Our second stay at this lovely place. Loads of sunbeds so no problem getting one any time of day. Super nice staff in all roles. Great room, fab pool lovely breakfast and great spot on the beach next to our favourite places to eat- the Cubar does the best Thom khai with tofu ever had! Just one thing I didn’t like and it’s nothing to do with the hotel tbh but the poor looking horse on the beach, so thin and ridden so badly even by the owners and then idiots that are way too heavy riding them up and down a busy beach. It would be good if this could be banned, from an animal lover and horse owners point of view. But back to the hotel - we will be back!
The beds were way too hard
Right on the beach. Grounds are very attractive but rooms getting a little tired. Good breakfast. Shame they have no loungers, no pool lifeguard and no way to change beach towels. But, really enjoyed our stay.
Nice resort but staff were not helpful. Only stayed 3 night but had to ask for room clean, toilet paper and daily water as they just didnt come to our room.
Very quite and homely
Close to local shops and restaurants
We booked a room for four people but were charged an additional fee for the fourth guest. Upon checking in, we found the second bed to be much less comfortable than the main one. Additionally, my friend developed a skin rash from the bedsheet. When we asked the hotel to address the issue and change our room, they refused. In the end, they only replaced the second bed and the bedsheets. The staff was neither helpful nor accommodating. While the pool and beach areas were decent, the resort’s location is quite far from Phuket’s main attractions, making it inconvenient for travelers exploring the area without a car.
Housekeeping staff not well trained. Missing towels after housekeeping etc. Fresh towels got lipstick stains. Miss out hand towels after housekeeping services.
Great holiday resort with young family with kids
I visited with my family, mother in law and a 2 year old. They had everything we needed! Pool right outside our balcony, I was worried about having a pool so close to our room because of my 2 year old but they had so many locks on the doors and the lock to get into the pool was not reachable for my toddler. So that made me so happy!! Very kid friendly establishment, also fun for adults, the beach club was fun and everything was walking distance. Massage on the beach, tons of food options on the beach as well. Loved loved this place!!! I was so sad to leave!!!
Glad we took the chance to book this hotel, it was outstanding. The staff were very friendly, it had plenty around it, markets, shops, beach clubs, more traditional eateries. The beach is on the doorstep and the swim up rooms made my little girls holiday even better. Couldnt reccommed enough
Great location on the beach, great pools, very good breakfast, nice staff and comfy beds. Close to lots of local restaurants and a small night market, nice safe and relatively quiet area. They need to think hard about their deposit policy and allow credit cards as an option. Taking it as cash in limited currencies is not going to make anyone spend more at the hotel, it’s just annoying.
It was a lovely couple weekend. The resort is a bit old but very clean and the service was very prompt and friendly. The only downside was their inability to extend our checkout by even one hour without any payment, in spite of the resort not being full (due off-peak season)....as our flight was 8 hours after checkout....which would have been a bonus point in their PR area. Other than that, the resort was lovely in terms of location and service.
I really enjoyed the access to the beach and pool. The hotel staff are excellent.
Pool facilities excellent Friendly staff
Nice location and lobby . Comfy beds although rooms a little old fashioned , not that you spend much time in the room . Not being able to bring food in sucks and could do with more water being available for free around the hotel .
Freindly and helpful staff, perfect accomodation for families with young children, just by the beach and good food
This is a perfect resort for families with kids.
Very uncomfortable beds. Tiny bathroom. Often had to request room to be cleaned. Given wrong phone number by reception TWICE to get transport back from Patong & no refund offered when we had to make our own way back to hotel. Unfortunately a lot of maintenance & construction happening during our stay. Only good aspects were the pool & breakfast.
View from our room matched the photo on Wotif. Stunning. Great breakfast every morning. Our safe stopped working, within minutes of making a call to the front desk, we had a tech up to our room to fix it. Speedy! We are located right on the beach.
Staff were always friendly and quick to assist. Resort was very clean and location of resort perfect being right on Bang Tao beach
