1. The location, in the square. 2. Staff friendliness. 3. Breakfast options. 4. I had room 206 as a single person, it was perfect and with a lake view. 5. Stylish, clean bathroom. 6. Good size double bed that was comfy. 7. Tea and coffee making facilities. 8. A hotel umbrella was provided which came in handy one evening. 9. A safe and an iron and ironing board were provided. 10. A small terrace with a couple of chairs ( would be good to have a small table to place a wine glass or ones coffee cup on )? 11. The double glazed doors kept the noise away from the bars in the square. 12. The ferry terminal was a simple 10 min walk 12. There is a C110 bus that can take you all around the Lake.

Hotel sits on the town square and the staff are exceptional. Menaggio was a perfect base to see Lake Vomo. Enough to see and do but fewer tourists. Our room was clean and spacious. Free parking was a little bit of a walk but we had little trouble finding a spot.,we would stay here again. Staff were lovely. Nice casual restaurant for dinner in the alley behind the hotel.

We absolutely LOVED our recent stay at Hotel Garni Corona! The rooms are bright and spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning was fantastic. The bathroom was a generous size and the shower was perfect. While our room wasn’t lake-facing, it didn’t impact our stay at all. We chose not to eat breakfast at the hotel, instead opting to dine around the corner where we could enjoy the sunshine and the view, but the breakfast looked great and had everything you’d expect from a continental breakfast. The hotel couldn’t be in a better location, right beside the main square. But what impressed us most was the staff. Like so many other guests mention, they are genuinely incredible. I’ve never met such friendly and accommodating staff, and they absolutely made our stay. A special mention has to go to Michaela, who went above and beyond when my mum accidentally left her bag on the train. She helped us get it back, which truly saved the day as it contained my mum’s outfit for my brother’s wedding. We can’t thank her enough for her kindness and determination. 10/10 – I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Thank you!

Location. Rented a car but didn’t need it. Shopping and half a dozen restaurants within 100 yards of hotel. Saw the sights from a boat ride around the lake.

Standard rooms are too small although we're were moved to a slightly bigger standard room which was good service. Breakfast lady seemed very bossy. Overbearing. Judgemental almost. Only boiled eggs at breakfast. No option for outdoor breakfast Have stayed in 15 Italian Lake hotels but the breakfast here has been the most uninspiring or relaxing. The coffee was good. They pre serve melon in bowls. A bit strange. The butter was good. Look, you won't starve, everything was bought on time. She was very efficient, it Just wasn't relaxing. and there are hardly any windows in the fairly small and sterile breakfast room. Lift is very small but worked and at least they had one. £209 with breakfast for one night wasn't great value. Don't know how this hotel scores 9.3 on here. It's an 8.2 at best. Hotels seems 2 star to me. Not 3

- Aircon filter needs a clean or has some other issue, it occasionally made a loud wheezing sound at night which made it hard to sleep - hair dryer is too dirty so would stop working after every 5 seconds

Emplacement de 1er choix : face aux lac et proche des embarcadères. Nous avons pu nous garer relativement facilement sur des emplacements gratuits. Décoration de la chambre soignée.

Notre chambre qui donnait sur un côté, face à un autre hôtel était sombre. La wifi fonctionne très mal, mais c’est le cas un peu partout sur le lac.

Location was excellent. Close to bus and ferry.

מלון נמצא במרכז העיר ליד אגם קומו. כל העובדים מאוד אדיבים ועוזרים בכל דבר. ניקיון יוצא מן הכלל. חדר מרווח, עם ארון גדול. חדר אמבטיה עם כל מה שנדרש ארוחת בוקר טובה ומשביע עם מבחר לכל טעם בערב נעים להסתובב בטיילת יש הרבה מסעדות טובות מסביב כמה דקות הליכה לתחנת אוטובוס ושייט לעיירות אחרות של קומו. בהחלט מומלץ!

אפשר לשים לחלונות משהו כמו רשת נגד חרקים, כי נכנסו כמה ולא היה נעים

موقع ممتاز مقابل البحيرة.. الفندق نظيف جداً وتعامل موظفين الاستقبال جداً رائع. المواقف يوجد مواقف لسيارات بس لازم تحجز مسبقا مع الفندق بتكلفة 25€ لليلة. الافطار جيد جداً

The hotel was a lovely, cosy property in a fantastic location, right in the main square of Menaggio and just steps from the waterfront, restaurants and the main plaza. It was also an easy 10–15 minute walk from the ferry, which made getting around Lake Como incredibly convenient. The property itself was charming, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I had booked a city-view room, so I was delighted to be surprised with a beautiful water view and a small balcony with seating overlooking the lake. The room was spacious and the shower was divine! Breakfast was continental and a little more limited than some of the other hotels we stayed at during our trip, but there was still a good variety to choose from. Overall, a wonderful stay and a great choice for anyone looking to base themselves in Menaggio while exploring Lake Como. I would happily stay here again.

The location was perfect, right on the lake with beautiful views. Very central to all restaurants, bars and the ferry. Breakfast was continental with hard boiled eggs as well as cereals, breads, cakes, meats and cheeses. Fresh fruit every morning. Staff all very friendly. Rooms all clean and tidy.

The air conditioning was centrally operated and overnight only started once the temperature dropped below a certain figure. The weather was exceptionally hot so I got very hot waiting for it to kick in again. The walls between rooms are very thin so if you have noisy neighbours (like we did), it can be difficult to sleep. You can also hear people walking about overhead. The bathroom window, if opened, looks straight out to the neighbours balcony so don't have a shower with the window open!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet hôtel à Menaggio. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’emplacement, idéal pour profiter de la ville et du lac de Côme. La chambre était confortable, bien agencée et très bien équipée : nous ne manquions de rien pendant notre séjour. Le petit balcon donnant sur une cour intérieure de l’hôtel était également très appréciable, même si la vue n’était pas exceptionnelle. Les prix du minibar sont aussi vraiment corrects !

No cold water in shower, complained several days in a row. The air was set to 78 degrees and it could not be changed . Did not replenish towels or water . Would not recommend .

We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate a birthday and loved it here. Great service, lovely sized room with a nice view and the staff were super friendly. The only negative was the restaurant in the evening where we ate once. Expensive and tiny portions. One of the staff (the head waiter) was quite rude so that’s the only negative! Close to the port to catch ferries and stunning lake views. Loads of places to eat too. Highly recommended!

It was beautiful. Clean and the location was fab. The staff were so helpful and the housekeeping was amazing. The housekeeping noticed I was sleeping on a duvet as the mattress was hard and they brought a topper, that was so appreciated. Every day they closed the curtains and made the room cool to come back to. Couldn't fault it

Hotel Garni Corona was a nice hotel and great value for money. Location was convenient, in the centre of town. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were helpful.

Although the rooms did have balconies, unfortunately they didn't have any views and were a shame to have a balcony that only looked out to a wall.

We stayed for three nights (11/07 au 14/07) at Hotel Garni Corona. From this hotel, we visited Varenna, Bellagio, Menaggio, and Como, and we can confidently say that this is undoubtedly the best place to stay. In our opinion, this hotel deserves four stars. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. Depending on the room you choose, you may have a balcony and even a small table with two chairs, perfect for enjoying the beautiful lake view. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5–10 minute walk from the ferry terminal, making it easy to travel to destinations such as Varenna or Bellagio. There is a restaurant beneath the hotel, but it closes at 10:00 p.m., so there is no noise at night, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful sleep before heading off on your next adventure. A huge thank you to the entire hotel team, especially Marco, Martina, and the lady at breakfast whose name I unfortunately don't remember. She speaks French quite well. They were always welcoming, helpful, and smiling. The hotel is truly fortunate to have such wonderful people on its team. Great location in a central area with good restaurants and live entertainment in the piazza. Breakfast was excellent with fresh squeezed orange juice and good selection.

Could not watch World Cup match on TV and the WiFi was a little slow for streaming (but this was not the primary purpose of the trip).

We loved the location of the hotel and having a lakefront room made our stay feel really special. The room was spotlessly clean and recently renovated. It was a little on the small side, but the balcony overlooking the lake more than made up for it. The bathroom was a good size with a practical layout, and everything felt fresh and well maintained. Menaggio itself is a lovely place to stay as it still has a genuine local vibe, which we really appreciated. We hope the town can keep that charm. It was very easy to visit the other towns along the lake using the ferry. Depending on where you are coming from and heading next, there are plenty of public transport options too. Staff were very helpful. We stayed 3 nights in mid June. The A/C and WIFI worked well.

We would have preferred twin bed setting but this was only available at an extra cost unless you stayed 3 nights or more. However bed was large enough and separate duvets etc so it didn’t really impact our stay.

Vistelsen var bra och hotellet hade väldigt fint läge! Rena rum och trevlig frukost som hade det vi efterfrågade. Vänlig personal!

The hotel is located in the center of Menaggio, with great gelato shops and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. It’s also within walking distance of the ferry terminal and much quieter in the evenings compared to Varenna and Bellagio.

The room is quite small and not many options for breakfast.

Our room with lake view (306) was large, comfortable and had a fantastic lakeside view from two Juliet balcony double doors. Wonderful.

Some noise from other guests who didn’t take care when closing their own room doors (inconsiderate guests, not the hotel personnel)

המיטה הייתה קצת נוקשה, מייבש השיער לא באמת עבד טוב. כיוון שהמלון ממש בלב הכיכר. המוזיקה מהכיכר ( היה פסנתרן שניגן) הפריעה עד שעה .10.30 בלילה, קצת הפריע לישון

Fabulous location, just a few minutes walk to the ferry terminal, and right opposite the lake. The main square is just outside the door and there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Big, clean room with a comfortable bed, excellent shower and decent size bath towels!

Wij zaten op de vierde etage - gezien onze leeftijd 75+ - geen prettig idee. Gaat de lift ook nog kapot. Gelukkig bij vertrek was het personeel zo vriendelijk onze bagage naar beneden te dragen ! Chapeau!!
