La beauté du vaste appartement avec sa piscine et une grande terrasse donnant sur la jungle. La gentillesse du personnel.

L'entré de l'hôtel est très dégradée avec des gravats liés aux travaux en cours et des déchets divers créant un très fort contraste avec l'intérieur des chambres soigné. Le restaurant est dégradé et peu accueillant.

The location and breakfast was great, so was the pool.

I didn’t realise the dining room and kitchen were outside. There was a lot of bugs, ants and lizard coming into the room because of this. We stayed in the two bedroom villa, the upstairs had an external stair case to get to the room. I didn’t feel comfortable having my children sleeping in a room upstairs that we had to walk outside to get to. There was so no living area, just external kitchen and dining room with two bedrooms off this.

We booked for 2 nights and ended up spending 4 nights in the villa with private pool. It is such a quiet and peaceful location in ubud but right in the middle of restaurants shops. the staff were wonderful incredibly helpful. They came every morning to clean the room and change the towels.

It is very common in Bali to have humidity smell in the bathrooms and as every place in Bali the shower floor corners could be cleaner. But nothing major they were attending the room every day and this was definitely a bonus.

The staff was good. Close to Ubud market.

The villa itself needs a good amount of renovation. Not enough lighting in the rooms during the nighttime. Paints were peeling off from various places.

The location was not as advertised on booking.com and I specifically chose this villa on loaction. We found this out on arrival, this villa has two locations and this was not specified when we booked. According the the map I booked the Baruna Sari Villa which is 3 mins walk to the main shopping street, however, we were put in their other villa which was about 12 min walk from the main street. We had to specify this distinction each time we got in a taxi as the default is the other villa. On google, this villa is 'Baruna Sari Villa Jungle View'. Also, for a '2 bedroom villa' in Bali, it lacked a space to relax, there was a tiny 2 seater lounge and no dining table. Could have done with a big day bed for when you come back from a day exploring, somewhere to chill. Would recommend, but be aware of the above info regarding location to avoid disappointment on arrival.

Lack of ceiling fan over breakfast area in spa suite. Cable TV not available. Only Indonesia. These are only suggestions. Value of accomodation reflects fairly on the room facilities as is. 🙂

Localisation très proche de la rue principale d'UBUD (2 minutes à pieds) et pourtant très au calme ! Nous avions la chambre jacuzzi, très jolie et le petit jardin privé est très agréable ! Le personnel est vraiment adorable et soucieux de votre bien être. Très agréable de se faire porter le petit déjeuner (choisi la veille) directement dans votre villa. La chambre est spacieuse, grande armoire de rangement.

Rien. Du tout ! Juste une remarque, sauf erreur de ma part, il est indiqué dans l'annonce qu'il y a un restaurant ça n'est pas le cas. En même temps la ville est tellement proche... Mais après une journée d'excursion on peut avoir la flemme ! Il est toutefois très facile de se faire livrer !

The villa was in a great location and was very clean and comfortable.

The staff were amazing. Kadek, petut and all the staff were so kind, friendly and accommodating. The service could not be better, it is individual and they will know who you are unlike in large resorts. Great safe place for females travelling alone, as the staff will look sfter you. They arranged drivers for us at the last minute, who were also great. The villas were beautiful. Our group stayed in the hot tub and private pool villas. Both were amazing, beautiful ceilings and well decorated. Beds and pillows were very comfortable & bathrooms stunning. The filtered drinking water in each room is a huge convenience. The pool & bar was amazing, gorgeous space. The side doors lock and villa doors, so it is very safe. Staff respond on what's app promptly for assistance 24hrs a day. Staff always called out before entering the villa. They do come in to turn your bed at night and put a fresh mozzie coil on which is lovely. While there is no restaurant on-site, breakfast was always really nice, it was basic but lovely. They accommodated my gluten free, dairy free needs kindly. Restaurants in the main street are a very short walk for dinner, or go jek delivers and the staff kindly brought it in. No request was unable to met & they were always smiling. There are several cafes for coffee a 2 min walk away. The spa at ada hita around the corner was amazing too, went there daily. We stayed 8 days here and saw a lot of bali using this as a central location. We then stayed at the hilton nusa dua for 3 days after this and preferred our villa here. Would absolutely be back & highly recommend, amazing 👏

There were only a few areas where small improvements could make a huge difference here. 1) the kettle take 20mins to boil in both rooms. Not sure if this is a kettle or electricity problem. Would be great to buy a new one and see if it is quicker. Otherwise put it on and then wander off to do things, while you wait.. 2) the pergola in private pool villa was leaking quite a lot through holes in tiles and roofing of the verandah. This means when its raining, you can not sit outside your room without getting wet by the drips. The floor when wet also becomes very slippery, they do provide bath mats for this. My last night the rain was so heavy and it was such a shame as sitting under the verandah to enjoy it would have been lovely, but I could not step outside the doorway. 3) if there was a comfy recliner or chair in the room I could have enjoyed being inside more when raining. , There is only really the bed or desk chair to sit on. 4) no ability to watch TV, cast to TV, only channels are Indonesian. A smart TV would make it 5 stars. Those improvements would have made the stay faultless. In saying that, I offer them as constructive feedback for you not as a complaint. I would stay again in a heartbeat and thought the villa, location, facilities and staff were amazing & the boss for helping us with drivers. We hope to return soon, thanks again.

Great deck area with private pool. Quiet setting so close to all the action. Not a large establishment so it still has the personal touch. Felt very secure so seldom bothered locking up.

They are currently renovating some villas so there is some construction noise. Still well worth it overall.

The rooms are pleasant with good bathrooms, a comfortable bed and nice sitting outside areas.

The property with the 3 bedroom villa is further out of central Ubud than advertised on the website. I had specifically chosen this villa so we could easily walk to the town centre. However we discovered it was 700 metres up a hill. The other big issue is that the villa is part of a construction site with other connected villas being built there. So there is noise all day from at least 7am and sometimes earlier. We were not warned of this at all. Also the housekeeping is not consistent - one day they forgot to do one bedroom. There used to be not always a staff member at the property although we were told they would be there 24/7.

The Villa and staff were beyond exceptional. Kadek and his team do an amazing job to make your stay memorable!

Meget gæstfri personale og modtagelse. Store værelser med masser af plads. God lokation i forhold til støj fra de større veje, men stadig kort afstand til shopping og restauranter.

Selve værelserne ser lidt trætte ud og kunne godt trænge til lidt opfriskning. Gode senge! OBS: pool 170 cm dyb, så ikke til de mindste børn.

Velholdt og utrolig hjælpsomt personale, samt virkelig dejligt pool. Bynært, men stadig roligt.

The staff were friendly and helpful

I thought there was a swimming pool when I booked as it looked that way in the photos. But there was no pool only a spa and because the room is right where reception is i didn't feel comfortable using it for privacy reasons. Also when people are checking in and out you can hear everything so it wakes you up at night when people arrive and leave during the evening.

This place is amazing, if you are considering booking this we highly recommend it! Our family of 4 stayed here and loved it, the villa was clean and spacious, also the pool was immaculate. The staff was welcoming, also able to walk to restaurants and shopping

Nothing to mention.

We booked this Villa for two families including children. It was a nice space but not at all suitable for Children to stay in. The stairs were steep, the rooms all seperate and separated from the main bedroom and unsafely placed next to the pool and the pool was in the living space which was exposed. The doors to the bedrooms weren’t sealed effectively for mosquitos and there was a lot of mosquitos present. I think this would be suitable for a group who prefer to travel a bit separately, just not for families or children. We ended up not staying even for the first night after we arrived as the children slipped multiple times on the tiles and had hit their heads and legs after being in the pool.

The staff were lovely, apologetic and supported us to move to a more suitable place. They were very understanding.

We booked a room with private pool, and initially at check-in they placed us in the 2nd level 'tree house' without a pool. That 'tree house room' was REALLY cool; high thatched roof ceiling, huge deck, huge bathroom with open-air walls (I was nervous animals would enter though). Apparently that room no longer has a pool, and the room is no longer listed on Booking as having a pool. Our reservations clearly stated a 'pool'. When guests checked out of a room with pool a few days later, they allowed us to move into that room. The staff helped carry our luggage up, and then back down, the narrow spiral staircase. Nice to have daily breakfast; we always ordered the boiled eggs that came with 1 slice of bacon and toast, juice, coffee/tea. There were ants crawling on the plates, so boiled seemed safest bet! The pool was nice. Outdoor kitchen had 1 countertop burner; no microwave. Small size refrigerator. Staff was GREAT!

It was a very long walk down a hill into a less than nice area of town. Motor bikes and cars whizzing by literally brushing the knuckles of my hands. LOTS of big holes in the road and sidewalks to fall or walk right into. A MACAQUE MONKEY entered our outdoor kitchen one afternoon (climbed over the wall) while I was STANDING AT THE COUNTER chopping onions. Huge monkey. Sat on the counter and proceeded to eat my onions and drink my Bintang beer. He NEVER returned thank goodness! BEWARE that the Laundry Service next door to the Villa Restaurant STOLE my dress and the Laundry mesh bag I gave them to wash it in (it had delicate lace trim). I asked every other day if maybe they misplaced it, placed it in someone else's bag, fell behind the dryer, etc. NOPE. We were there for 1 month, and I think they intentionally steal items, hoping you're only there a few days and don't notice until you get back home. Apparently it's a big scam in Bali, laundry services stealing clothing articles. Take inventory before dropping off and check ASAP.

Absolutely stunning jungle villa, staff were very attentive and always asking if everything was ok when they saw you.

The villa was not where originally thought, was abit of a construction zone.

Établissement parfait pour un séjour en famille. Nous avions la chance d’avoir une villa avec piscine privée avec vue sur la forêt. Emplacement calme assez proche du centre ville. Le personnel a été adorable et aux petits soins.

Grandes marches, attention si enfants en bas âge.

Very flexible check in time. We arrived at midnight at DPS airport and they had arranged for a driver to pick us up.

Baruna Sari Villa has 5 star service and facilities without the 5 star price tag. Each villa has it's own pool, the staff are so very kind and attentive, nothing is too much of a problem. We had the benefit of staying at both the Villas closer to town and the Jungle Villas which are a little further away. Both are phenominal. In town is so close to walk and convenient but the Jungle is a little further away but very peaceful and quiet. The 2 and 3 bedroom villas are like a villa you would find in the mediteraean multi story and luxury! My husband and I would rate much more than a 5 star if possible. You should definitely stay here if you're visiting Ubud!

Really nothing at all. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I hurt my toe and needed bandaids and they even offered to drive me to the Apoteke at 6am so I wouldn't have to walk. I love this place and would highly recommend.

Location was fantastic. Easy walk & safe community. Staff genuinely friendly & helpful - even when having to work on a sacred holiday to them!

Staff were nice and attentive. Accomodation was clean. Location was good - not too central but still in easy walking distance from the market/palace. Breakfast was yummy. 24/hr check in was great considering our late arrival.

Our rooms was right next to reception (metres away) and so we were a little concerned about privacy.

The villa is considered a big and good size for a couple . The staffs are friendly and attentive to our request. Location wise not bad , ard 10-15 minutes walk to Ubud palace and others.

The room a bit dark at night, not sure is it Bali style. May be just not our style .

2ベッドルームのプール付きヴィラのロケーションが最高です。2階からの景色も素晴らしく、毎日雨でしたがとても楽しめました。プールも深くて広いので快適です。 スタッフも皆さんフレンドリーで癒されました。 ウブドの市場迄も10分くらいで、宿近くも沢山お店があるので何も不便はありませんでした。 ウブドは沢山の宿に泊まりましたが、次からは毎回こちらのヴィラに泊まりたいです。

Tried two villas, but both smelled very damp and mouldy. I got sick, unfortunately. Pillows and curtains had mould on them, cupboards smelled like rotting timber, bedding was damp and cold every day after I got home from a day out. There was no restaurant onsite perse, and they didn't always have what was offered on the menu (ie. fish or spaghetti). Sliding doors do not close properly to keep out mosquitos. The hot water runs out before bath tub reaches your shins. Banging noises at night and animal in the roof. I had to cut my stay short. I couldn't sleep. I was allergic to the villa. Wayan was lovely and helpful, as was Kadek. Owner needs to thoroughly and regularly clean the villas and waterproof them. :(

Je suis venue durant mes vacances en Août 2025, et cette villa était incroyable !!! Je recommande fortement ! C’est magnifique, elle m’a ressourcer, m’a apaisé et m’a détendu avec le bain jacuzzi. La chambre est très bien équipé ainsi que la salle de bain. Le personnel est tellement gentil et attentionné. Ils m’ont apporté mon petit déjeuner qu’ils m’ont préparé …ect Une expérience à vivre. Je ne regrette tellement pas d’être venu. Et si je reviens dans le coin je reprendrais ce logement à 10000%.

Staff were very lovely and friendly. We found it super helpful when asking about local spots. They were super attentive when it came to cleaning. The photos of Baruna Sari on Booking.com do not do it justice. It is much more nice and beautiful than the pictures present.

The only thing we found difficult was that we could not participate in a lot of additional activities on offer through the villa as we had our 6 month old baby with us. At times, it felt like we were constantly being upsold, and it got a little tiring after a few days. Once staff understood we had to be at the villa alot for our baby's naps, they were less inclined to suggest activities.

The location was great, the facilities were great, and staff were 11 out of 10. Brilliant stay

the villa was perfectly located, peacefully secluded from street noise but very comfortable walking distance to town center. the private plunge pool was just as delightful as the staff who worked hard each day to accommodate our needs and ensure a satisfying memorable trip to ubud indonesia.

Staff were all friendly, and polite. The laundry service was brillant in price plus returned to our room too. £7 for say 8kg of washing. Room was nicely presented and laid out, as too was the garden ( shame about the lack of view at the bottom and rubbish down below) The air conditioning was a lovely welcome addition, especially after a humid day out exploring. The bed was really comfortable,netflix was a nice touch as too was the bath and shower (separate)

The access to the hotel / room wasnt ideal when it came to wheeling your luggage because of the gravel, narrow entrance plus the steps. Building works in the multiple units around us wasnt ideal especially when they started at 7.30 in the morning. Based on what is left to be done and the pace of the work, can see it continuing for another year or two. Breakfast although nicely presented and delivered to our garden, was only given 1 sausage or 1 bacon for example, although the rice dishes were tasty and a sizable amount. 6 hangers was nice, more would have been helpful.

The staff were exceptional & nothing was too much trouble, the property was extremely clean, good breakfast, quiet area, and an easy walk into town. The pool & outdoor area was clean & peaceful overlooking the forest & their restaurant food was also great. Excellent value !!

The shower water pressure was a challenge but not sure if that is everywhere as this was my first time in Bali. I would also recommend more lighting over the mirror area & softer pillows :) .

We loved how there was so much space in this villa as well as our own private pool. Breakfast was served each morning in the villa which was a lovely touch. The staff were friendly and so helpful.
