The staff!!! So friendly and helpful.

The pool requires some maintenance, missing tiles in the pool itself. Lack of hand soap in pool toilet, dispenser was filled on request, but dispenser did not work.

Nice little hotel. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and a nice breakfast. Bit further away from torremolinos centre. But easy to get to town centre. I was glad my room had air conditioning as I visited during summer when it was very warm outside.

This is real treasure of a traditional Spanish hote, a few minutes walk from the beach and the chiringuitos. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast there, choice was excellent and the quality superb. We will definitely return !

Családias kis hotel ,nagyon kedves személyzettel .Tisztaság nagyon rendben volt.Parkoló 50m -re található egy zárt garázsban,ami nagyon megkönnyítette a parkolást.Mivel nagyon nehéz parkolni a városban.

Un hotel de playa muy correcto,a solo un paso de la arena. Si buscas relax, este es tu hotel; la zona de la piscina es súper tranquila. Las habitaciones son limpias y cuentan con una terraza. Lo mejor de todo, sin duda, es el trato buenísimo de todo el personal. Mención especial para Raquel en recepción y para la chica del snack-bar, que son encantadoras y te hacen sentir como en casa. ¡Para repetir seguro!

Atención excelente, llegamos a las 9 de la mañana y el check-in era a las 14:00 y aun asi nos dejaron utilizar sus instalaciones (piscina y baños para cambiarnos) Después se acercaron a la piscina a la 13:00 para decirnos que tenían una habitación lista nos dieron un apartamento mucho mas grande de la habitación que teníamos por el mismo precio y con los mismos servicios y nos regalaron dos consumiciones Al hacer el check-out lo mismo Pudimos aprovechar la piscina hasta el último momento Nos fuimos encantados! El buffet con todo lo justo y necesario y las camas muy cómodas Esta claro que si volvemos será al mismo hotel

The hotel is in great position to go to various places, close to bus stops. It is a clean and bright. Beatrix and all the staff were helpful and polite and went uf their way to accomadate anything you needed

Vi havde virkelig set frem til at bo her, men på grund af en alvorlig hændelse blev vi desværre forhindret i at komme. Vi var derfor nødsaget til at afbestille vores booking på selve ankomstdagen, og vi kontaktede hotellet for at forklare vores situation. Hotellet var utrolig imødekommende, forstående og sympatiske. De valgte desuden at refundere halvdelen af vores udgifter, hvilket var en utrolig generøs gestus og noget, vi satte meget stor pris på. Tusind tak for jeres fantastiske service og forståelse. Vi håber helt klart at få mulighed for at besøge jer en anden gang, så vi kan opleve stedet, som vi oprindeligt havde glædet os så meget til. Bedste service og stor anbefaling herfra! 🙏

A good hotel with helpful and polite staff. The hotel has everything guests need to relax, away from loud music and tipsy crowds.

Room was great. Bed was huge so our three year old slept beside us no problem. Staff were lovely and very accommodating.

Air-conditioning only went to 18° so we were sweating the first night but we got used to it so all good.

Fue una estancia fugaz, pero muy cómoda, agradable y personal encantador. Ubicación perfecta para ir a la playa, comercios y bares. Las habitaciones amplias y el desayuno variado y de buena calidad. Repetiremos pero más tiempo para poder disfrutarlo mejor.

Bel hôtel avec le personnel au petit soin, dès personnes à la réception, femmes de ménages, jardiniers, barman et un plus pour la personne au petit déjeuner, super sympas toujours un mot pour tous les clients chaque matin ! Emplacement tees bien proche de la mer, des commerces et du bus. Taxi là en même pas deux minutes à 4h du matin sans réservation préalable.

Schöne kleine Unterkunft. Zimmer groß genug, perfekte Lage Richtung Strand, sowie für Ausflüge. Bushaltestelle und Aldi vor der Tür Sehr gutes Frühstück und überall sehr nettes Personal.

Paper thin walls, our bed wasn’t comfortable!

Czystość, cisza i spokój, dobrze wygłuszone pokoje, smaczne śniadania i bliskość świetnej plaży, a także dobra komunikacja autobusowa z Malagą.

W pokoju, brak wody butelkowanej lub dystrybutora wody pitnej w hotelu, Za mało gniazdek elektrycznych przy łóżkach. I duży minus za brak dobrej a w przypadku jednej z Pań w recepcji, zupełny brak znajomości języka angielskiego. Rezerwacja przez Booking nie wymagała płatności i oznaczono płatność w hotelu. Opóźniony lot sprawił, że dotarliśmy o 5 rano do hotelu a brak znajomości języka angielskiego w recepcji znacznie przedłużył meldunek.

Beautiful yard, very friendly staff and nice location. Loved the “feeling” of the hotel.

It’s very clean, traditionally Spanish, and has a charm that many of the more standard five-star hotels simply don’t have. The air conditioning in the room was excellent, and everyone, from the reception staff and bar staff to the chambermaids, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely too. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice staff at the reception. Very tasty breakfest with big choice. Electric cattle in the room, power outlet at the bed, small fridge in the room. Shower with anti-slip mat. Swiming pool. Balcony with shadow. Happy hour. Spain won the World football championship! 😊

First days when I was in the room whithout balcony. There was no air circulation in the yard on the ground floor. Room was very small, but price for the room was not that small. When I change the room for the room with balcony, everything was OK.

Limpieza, ubicación y trato del personal

Que a estas alturas se permita fumar en una piscina y los trabajadores no digan nada, tanto mantenimiento como camarero pasaban por la zona y lo permitían, también no existían carteles prohibiendo fumar ni donde estaba la zona habilitada. Poco personal, en el desayuno, la misma persona recogía las mesas, reponía el buffet, sacaba la comida, etc en hora punta escaseaba la comida y las mesas estaban sin recoger ( por cierto, la mujer muy amable pero no da para mas ).

We stayed in a self catering apartment which is actually across the road from the hotel. You can still use all the facilities at the hotel. The apartment was really good, well equipped. Air con was a game changer. Fit 4 people in really well. But beware, there is absolutely NO outside space to sit. No balcony or terrace at all. There is a washing machine you can use to dry your clothes, but if you enjoy sitting out having a drink in the evening these are not the place to stay. The swimming pool area is ok. Quite small, and could do with a bit of a re vamp. There were some missing tiles off the pool, and it was just a bit ‘sad’. The lady behind reception was brilliant and everyone was really helpful. We had a great time, and would recommend, but if you’re the kind of people that like a pool holiday this isn’t the place for you.

The management tried to find a solution for refund. That's why I am putting a rating of 5 instead of 1 Nothing more

They proposed me a horrible ground-floor room like a prison cell, under the prexte that I booked a single room. Why should I be penalized because I am travelling alone?? Why shoud I accept to stay in a horrible room and waste my holidays? They refused to provide another room, saying that the hotel was full and warning me that even if I spend one night there, I would not be garanteed to have another room the day after. They made loose 2h and I had to find another hotel, with a lastminute reservation at a high price. I was totally disapointed by this hotel. They should not propose these horrible prison cells located at ground floor. Or at least they should provide more details about single rooms. They refuse to recognize that the room was dark and sordid.

The breakfast during our stay could have been better. The bar prices are quite high 6 euro for a pint of lager is steep whereas you could get a pint of lager overlooking the beach for 2 euro 50!

- WIFI ustabil, og man blev logget ud hele tiden - Kun 3 stik kontakter i værelset - Ligger ud til en tungt trafikeret vej, der gav nogen støj ( dog var lydisolering på værelset fin fin )

Second visit and a great relaxing break. Stayed for four nights Room spacious with fridge and TV Hotel was very clean, both the bedrooms and bar and area were you had breakfast. Good choice at breakfast time with fruit or fried options, just help yourself. Bar very reasonable and the early evening two for one a real treat What makes this hotel is it’s wonderful, friendly, welcoming staff Hope to come back again Thanks for a great time

Had a short 4 night stay at the hotel with breakfast. The staff are 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hotel is lovely and clean. The pool is nice and relaxing. Could do with some soft music on. If you want to to go to Toremelinos you won’t go wrong with this hotel

We had a very pleasant 7 night stay here. The room was nice and had a fridge and a small balcony. The hotel has a very authentic family run feel and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The pool was small but we always found sun loungers. Breakfast was a bit mixed, as some days it was decent and others days it was a struggle to get something beyond a fry up. The staff here are great, big shout out to Beatrix who is an absolute star and nothing was too much trouble. The lady who works breakfast and serves drinks around the pool was wonderful and helped me by speaking Spanish very slowly. All in all a very pleasant experience.

A great friendly hotel, sitting close to the beach and main strip but far enough away to be quiet at night. Aldi shop a few meters away for supplies and essentials. It is a quiet and very relaxed hotel more for those seeking peace and quiet. There is a nice well stocked bar with in and outdoor seating, which closes at mid night. It’s not a noisy bar with quiet music and a TV. The pool is not large and has several sun beds around it. It can get busy and most mornings there was a queue waiting for it to open, however the beach is only a 5 - 10 minutes walk away. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, plenty of plugs and decent WiFi. The balconies are not big but comfortable enough for a couple. Good shower with plenty of hot water and a good hair dryer. The staff help make this hotel a winner. Sergio and Beatrix cannot be any more helpful or friendly. My one and only issue is the lack of of gluten free beers.

Hotel pequeño, a pocos minutos de la playa. Habitación triple amplia con una cama de matrimonio de 150 y cama individual de 105. Una mini nevera y amplia terraza con mesa y sillas de jardín.

Que no hubiese bidé en el baño y hubiera preferido plato de ducha en lugar de bañera.

Todo el personal es maravilloso. Se esfuerzan porque tengas una estancia agradable. Relación calidad y precio.

A very nice stay at hotel montemar. We stayed in the apartments which are located just across the road from the hotel. There were only two of us so we were made up with the amount of space. Really clean, modern, excellent cooking facilities, lovely shower and very comfortable double beds. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk to ALDI which was so ideal! If I was to give one critique it would be the lack of buzz around the pool. A bit of background music would have been lovely. It was a bit too quiet for us but completely understand many people would find this very appealing so that is just based on personal preference.

This hotel is nice and small and very traditionally Spanish which is exactly what I like. Very friendly hotel, nothing is too difficult for the staff. Check in was quick and easy as was check out. Rooms were cleaned every day and the whole hotel was cleaned constantly including outdoor areas. Breakfast was really good and varied and you can also take it outside if you like. The pool area and terraces are lovely areas to relax

A szobánk a földszinten volt, közel a recepcióhoz/lobbyhoz (az ajtó hangszigetelése oylan, mint egy trópusi nádkunyhóban), ahol nem az volt az elsődleges cél, hogy ne legyenek hangosak.

Recently returned from a wonderful stay at Arcos de Montemar. We were made to feel so welcome & comfortable in this lovely little gem of a hotel. The location is great-a short walk to the beach front & bars & shops. Bonus of an Aldi close by. The rooms & the whole hotel are immaculately clean both indoors & the pool & outside areas are well maintained. The staff are a credit to the hotel-everyone so friendly & helpful. From the reception staff-the lovely Beatrix and Sergio, to the bar staff & cleaners & kitchen staff. Thank you to you all for making our stay so special. Looking forward to another visit soon
