We loves our stay in this hotel tick all the boxes ,

No fridge in the room so we had no cold drinks also no teabags r coffee we had kettle and cups which was odd.

Se podrían mejorar las habitaciones si dispusieran de nevera pequeña. Se echa en falta algo de iluminación de techo, no solo los apliques junto a las camas

Excellent location to the beach around a 5 minute walk down the hill, Bus stop right outside the door for travelling further afield The garden was beautiful where you could sit and enjoy food or drink. Staff were nice and really helpful. Very clean Hotel. Air conditioning worked very well.

There was no mini fridge in the room, stayed in a double room and the room wasn’t very big at all, not a lot of space between the side of the bed and wardrobe. The double bed wasn’t a true double bed size it was more like a 3/4 size.

It was a really lovely hotel.

Excelente ubicación, personal competente, amable, personal y servicial. Un desayuno muy bueno y te lo puedes tomar en un precio jardín.

There is nothing wrong with this place it’s amazing we have been coming to Malaga and staying around Andalusia 4 times a year and this place ticks all the boxes the staff are great and the pool is amazing but the Bar is even better! Yvonne and Charlie.

Le prix : 190 euros la nuit pour un hôtel vraiment très basique et vieillot c'est trop cher même en dernière minute.

2nd time here after 10 years and still as welcoming. Staff are brilliant, clean towels every day, great bar prices, beautiful gardens and clean swimming pool. Buses stop outside going to Malaga and Fuengirola.

Been coming to this family run hotel for last 4 years, all the staff and management are excellent.

Brilliant location, 5 minutes from beach and miles of good restaurants. There is an Aldi 2 minutes up the road and bus stops outside (both ways) to get you into and from Malaga and beyond. Hotel is really good, well run by friendly staff. Room was very good. (Beds very comfortable). Ample beds around a smallish pool but lying around the garden on a bed is very satisfying. Would definitely return.

To Yari and all staff one big thank you 👍from minute we arrived we were treated brilliant, could write all day about beautiful grounds sitting every morning having breakfast just amazing.To owner thanks for having us, she was lovely host. This is an excellent, small, family run hotel, which offers great value for money, a very convenient location, and wonderful staff.

We only found out that a fridge could be requested for our room on the last day, and it’s a shame we weren’t told of this on check-in.

I really liked this hotel. It's a small, friendly, family-run hotel, that is ideally located for beach, restaurants, transport, and a supermarket. The staff were so attentive and friendly. The hotel was also exceptional value for money. I would definitely return to the hotel and recommend it to others.

Fabulous hotel..like home away from home. Staff were all very courteous and helpful. Had 3rd floor room overlooking the most Amazing garden I've ever seen..had my breakfast in the garden every day and it was a little piece of heaven. I will definitely stay here again any time I return to Torremolinos. It's a gem.

Stayed here 15/05 for 7 nights. Had an absolutely fabulous stay. Hotel is very homely, the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. A big shout out to the lovely guys who made and delivered our breakfast tea every morning with a smile and who we could see were adaptable to whatever task they were given. Also the lovely people on reception and of course Nicola who has to listen to it all. The owner always keeping an unobtrusive eye with a lovely smile so you know nothing can go wrong. The garden is utterly amazing and you could sit there for hours listening to the bird song. No distance from the beach and fabulous restaurants. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Everything it's so nice here, polite and service minded staff! Lovely Garden with swimmingpool, you can hear the birds from the Garden 24/7. It's really like Eden or paradise! Big balcony. I was made feel at home from the moment I arrived. Yari assured me " you are at home". I met the manager, Maria, late in my stay. There was no mistaking the kindness and warmth in her voice. All the staff were very professional and friendly. Well done.

Not suitable for anyone with a walking disability the jaunt down the hill to restaurants and beach and the hike back up after a meal is exhausting. On reaching the hotel there are deep steps or a very steep pathway to negotiate not good for an OAP with a suitcase!Initially tried to fob me off with a single room, I had paid for a double room with single occupancy after about 20 minutes computer finally said yes and I was given a double room 107, initially it looked basic but clean, on further inspection the beds were rock hard as were the bolster type pillows, the toiletries supplied were of very poor quality and although there was a kettle , 2 minuscule cups, 2 eye wash glasses no tea,coffee or bottle of water was provided. The curtains were badly stained and the mirror in bathroom was worn, not enough shelf space. The two layer beds on the balcony were worn and needed replacing. So if you do stay here a trip to Aldi is the 1st thing you need to do to purchase supplies and toiletries and if you are happy listening to rowdy Russians playing load music, smoke permeating your atmosphere from other balconies and you love pigeons pestering you for food then this is the place for you, definitely a 1/2 star basic hotel with no proper restaurant, pizza only option for bar food and needs refurbishment. The best thing was the wardrobe (although not enough hangers )and the flowers in the garden.

I spent 6 nights here in April alone . I had a 3rd floor room overthe garden with a sea view. The staff were friendly the room was cleaned every day and everything was great. I arrived at 1.15 in the morning and was still able to enjoy a drink in the bar. Aldi was just up the road for balcony eating which is great being on your own. Bus stop outside for Fuengerola or cross the road for Malaga. Five minutes walk to the beach with numerous bars and restaurants. I would not hesitate to visit again.

We've been coming to La Carihuela for the past 15+ years and stayed in many hotels, most are good and some excellent, this one is right up there for a family style, traditional look break, with impeccable service, very friendly and helpful staff team (thanks to Aline and her team), it's very clean and good sized rooms (air-conditioning and kettle included) with balcony and views. And the most lovely lady owner, who interacts with guests and she is such a character. Breakfast is great and the garden grounds are beautifully laid out. It has a decent sized pool with loungers. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the beach and has bus stops both ways directly outside (we did a day trip to Malaga). We honestly couldn't fault our stay in any way. The website doesn't do it justice. Never having visited this part of Spain before I wasn't sure what to expect. What a treat to be greeted so warmly after a delayed flight. The hotel is way beyond all my expectations, comfortable bed,lovely balcony overlooking the garden. I went out each day and it felt like coming home. Staff were all really helpful, nothing was too much trouble and it was delightful being able to get a drink anytime at very reasonable prices. Location is great because it's very quiet with a beautiful garden if you just want to chill, or you can get the bus right outside in either direction to explore for 1.75 euros. The beach is a short walk downhill where you can hire sunbeds for euros a day with the most comfy mattresses. I enjoyed the whole experience so much I have just booked to go back for another 4days in April. Really special place, don't hesitate to go. I have nothing negative to say.

El ruido es horrible en la segunda planta , se ve scucha las cañerías de las duchas de otras habitaciones y las conversaciones de otros clientes

Muy buena ubicación, habitación amplia con terraza que estaba bastante bien y el jardín con piscina era muy bonito

Estaba sucio, se veían pelusas, hormigas por la habitación… además se escuchaba todo de las otras habitaciones, pero lo peor la suciedad

El trato cercano del personal y que estuviera abierta la cafetería tan temprano para poder desayunar ya que nosotros teníamos que estar temprano en el aeropuerto y nos vino genial.

La INSONORIZACIÓN de las habitaciones es NULA. En general tendrían que dar un repaso a las habitaciones, desagües, colchones, almohadas... Pero sobre todo la insonorización. Esta noche nos tocó al lado de nuestra habitación una "pareja" que empezó a discutir, muchas voces, estaban emporrados, él a ella le pegó, la muchacha llorando, diciendo de llamar a la policía... Luego empezaron a hacer el amor... Si se le puede llamar así. De nuevo empezaron a discutir, pegarle, con sexo... Así hasta las 5 de la mañana sin dormir. Bajamos a hablar con recepción, entiendo que no pudieran hacer mucho puesto que estaban más dándole al tema que a otra cosa, estuvieron pendientes porque me lo dijeron y también lo veía yo mientras intentaba dormirme, el personal no tiene culpa de nada, es muy servicial, de hecho nos han recompensado por la noche que hemos pasado, pero es que lo peor son las instalaciones de las habitaciones, la gente que no tiene empatía por nadie y están fatal, que no puedan distinguir lo que es amor y violencia... Es lo peor. Si esas dos personas están leyendo esto una retirada a tiempo es lo mejor.

Hotel is in a great position. Bus stops to Torremolinos and Fuengirola are right outside and its a 5 minute walk to the beach where there are many bars, restaurants and shops. Hotel has a lovely pool and garden area. Drinks are very reasonably priced.
