Reviewed May 26, 2026It was really nice inside, cozy and comfy without feeling cramped. We looked the place up around half a day earlier, because our flight would land quite late and the place we originally planned would not let emus check-in that late anymore. But the Shinagawa-shuku guest house wa just what we needed and made a late check in possible. We really would have liked to stay longer, but had other plans. We will definitely remember this place for the future! :)
Even though we got a pretty detailed directions, we had a little trouble finding it. But that might not be a problem with the directions, but withe the fact, that we had three in total 20 hour flights behind us.

We stayed in the triple room (private) which was spacious enough for 3 people for 1 night, but there was only 1 real bed (bunk) and two single mattresses on the floor, which were very thin and uncomfortable (you could feel the floor straight through it).
