Location is quite good. Seaside view.

The property feels quite dated and is in need of refurbishment. In the restaurant, the chairs were noticeably dirty and due for replacement. Additionally, the food was average at best, with little to no variety across meals. Additionally, the staff require urgent retraining. Housekeeping entered my room while the indicator light above the door was red, signaling "Do Not Disturb" / occupancy. When confronted, the attendant simply claimed they entered because no one answered their knock, showing a clear disregard for basic guest privacy.

Friendly crew, helpfull staff, very good dive center, food was good and clean. Nobody got sick. Pool was clean. Very nice weather and enjoyed the reefs and marine life on the house reef.

Accomodation needs an upgrade and repair on a lot of things. The pool beds and beach beds were old and sometimes good. The fitness is a shame, very dirty (dust) and all equipment isn't working or damaged. Should be replaced by new equipment. The beach accomodation / restaurant is old and needs a lot of repairs. The animation staff has little or no feeling for what guests need.

العربيات ذات ال🏎 التى تمر خلال الممر وسط الفندق دون اى مراعاه لى النزلاء ولما اعترضت على أحدها ابتداء يرقص بسيارة على شكل ثعبان حتى يزيد من الغبار والعفر والضوضاء، بدون اى أدنى حد من الأدب والكاميرات المفروض مسجلة هذا وحدث ذلك أمام فرد الأمن. ان كان هناك سبب لى عدم العودة إلى هذا المكان الجميل يكون هذا هو السبب. ملحوظة قسم الحدائق يقوم بعمل ممممتاز.

Влюбились в египетское пиво, советую взять с собой стаканы. Дайвинг при гостинице в 3 раза дороже чем в дахабе. Автобус в дахаб ездит 3 раза в день с 17:00. Спа при отеле тоже необоснованно дороже чем в городе или соседней гостинице. Нужно торговаться, its ok. Недалеко находится отличная конюшня, можно взять урок верховой езды или конную прогулку, лошади чистые и ухоженные. Риф у отеля просто невероятный, но это наш первый и единственный опыт, маску взяли в аренду в городе в 10(!) раз дешевле, чем в отеле.

Странная системы стирки в гостинице, цены в маркете при отеле тоже в несколько раз дороже. Лучше ездить в город за всем.

كان كل شيء في هذا الفندق رائعًا بكل معنى الكلمة. منذ لحظة وصولي، شعرتُ بحفاوة استقبال لا تُوصف. كان موظفو الاستقبال على قدر عالٍ من المهنية، وباقي الموظفين في غاية اللطف والتهذيب. كانت الغرفة جميلة جدًا - واسعة، ونظيفة للغاية، ومريحة بشكل لا يُصدق. أما حدائق الفندق بأكملها فكانت مُنسقة بشكل رائع ومُعتنى بها جيدًا، مليئة بالخضرة والشجيرات الملونة، مما خلق جوًا من السكينة والجمال. في كل مكان في الفندق، وجدتُ أشخاصًا في غاية المهنية والود، مستعدين دائمًا للمساعدة بابتسامة - سواء على الشاطئ، أو في المقاهي، أو في المطعم. كان الطعام لذيذًا ومتنوعًا، وكنا نستمتع كل بضعة أيام بالعديد من المفاجآت السارة، مثل حفلات الفاكهة، التي أضفت جوًا رائعًا وممتعًا لإقامتنا. أوصي بشدة بهذا الفندق لكل من يبحث عن عطلة هادئة في مكان خلاب، مع جو ودي، وراحة تامة، واهتمام بأدق التفاصيل. سأعود بالتأكيد. ❤️

Breakfast was the best meal and the staff are all lovely, especially Zaki on reception. Some of the food was a bit bland but overall very good.

Signs to Happy Life need to be clearer, especially at night. The road leading to the hotel was a bit bumpy and rocky.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, an excellent experience, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is very kind, always happy to accommodate your requests with a smile. I must mention that there is a guy at the reception named Zaki. Always welcoming, and takes care of every little detail with a big smile. Thank you for the perfect hospitality, definitely a place we would be happy to return to and recommend.

Trop loin du centre et pour y aller l’hôtel propose que des horaires de 2h le soir uniquement. Les alentours ne sont pas entretenus en dehors de l’hôtel La plage : on ne peut pas se baigner à cause des coraux L’animation se fait sur la plage mais pas pro du tout dommage car les ptits jeunes essaient de faire de leur mieux

Mr Mina Auad at reception at Happy Life Village was very helpful and friendly. He went the extra mile to accommodate us. He is professional, well spoken and can converse is several languages. Great service!!

Not enough shaders/umbrellas at the beach and beach beds available. This leads to people booking their places in early morning and you never have the opportunity later to find a spot. There should also be more information available on the snorkeling, information on reef etiquette which will help protect the reef. Outdoor showers and places to rinse snorkels and flippers will be useful.

The receptionist, especially Kerollos, and the drivers were so welcoming and helpful and the pools are so good and clean, the sea was good and the views are so beautiful.

The location, the shuttle times are not enough, the variety of the food aren't enough, and for halfboard guests they don't provide soda drinks or any kind of drinks in the room and some facilities should be upgraded too. And it would be a good idea to add some golf cars or something for old people because the hotel is too huge and the areas aren't too near for each other, specifically for old people.

Wonderful that it is far from the bulk of hotels so that it is more quiet. Lovely gardens and multiple, clean pools. Beach front with snorkeling. Excellent meals with wide range of fresh, healthy options. We even had great massages! Super friendly and helpful staff, at restaurant, pool, beach, room cleaners, and reception. Mina at the reception was super helpful and efficient. Grateful for this stay, that we keep extending!

מחיר יחסית זול. חוף הים יפיפיה ונוף מדהים. 3 בריכות, רק לאחת מהן יש בר צמוד. יש הסעות בחינם מהמלון הלוך וחזור לשוק 3 פעמים ביום. יש במלון מתחם נחמד לשבת לעשן בו נרגילה בזול אבל הוא דרוש שיפוץ.

אין אינטרנט אין WiFi!!! אין מוצרים בסיסיים כמו קומקום חשמלי וקפה ותה בחדר, למרות שהם מפרסמים שיש! אוכל גרוע לא אכיל!!! כל מי שרושם פה שהאוכל טוב פשוט משקר!!!! כל מה שאכלנו בחופשה זה אורז! ירקות לא טריים ואין מבחר בכלל של מוצרים. אין ארוחות ביניים snacks. כל הsnacks הכל בתשלום ואפילו שמשלמים זה לא אכיל!!! אפילו בקבוק מים בתשלום! הדרך למלון לא ברורה, דרך שביל עפר. כל המלון עצמו עפר ואבק ולא מספיק נקי בלשון המעטה! הזמנו חדר זוגי הביאו לנו 2 מיטות נפרדות ואמרו לנו תחברו אותן ביחד בעצמכם. הנציג בקבלה לא שירותי בכלל. רק בשלב היציאה הנציג חייך אלינו בפעם הראשונה ולא עזב אותנו עד שלא כתבנו ביקורת טובה על המלון! למזלי לא היה לי אינטרנט כי אין אינטרנט במלון אז לא יכולתי לרשום ביקורת!! המלון עצמו מאוד ישן הכל בו ישן הרהיטים, המתקנים, הכל דרוש שיפוץ רציני!

Staff were horrible, specially the reception and at the restaurant.

The hotel building looks nice, and the pool area is fun and well-equipped. The food was good. There was one receptionist named Ezz working at night he and few other staff members were polite, smiling, and genuinely kind.

Most of the staff were unfriendly and unapproachable. The room had insects even after multiple cleanings. There’s no Wi-Fi in the entire hotel. We had to make several complaints about serious issues that ruined our mood, and although the management tried to fix things, nothing really changed. At checkout, the receptionist only cared about getting a review instead of saying goodbye or wishing us a safe trip.

Kiro and Alan the guys that work at bar in the pool must me promoted. They made our trip amazing always smiling , good vibe every day. This is our third time at this hotel, the things are better. Something has changed in the restaurant that there are no waiting line to take food, specially at the dinner. Last year the waiting line was huge, making the experience bad, now was really good. The food always great. The room was much cleaner then last year. Great vacation , good value for money. Ah there is a cold beer !!

The resort layout is actually quite nice, with beautiful views from many rooms and easy access to three different pools. The beach itself is lovely, and the coral reef and colorful fish right by the shore are absolutely worth a snorkel. A few staff members went above and beyond and were genuinely friendly and helpful, thanks Neseem *(Room Service team)* for being always cheerful and for keeping our rooms always sparkling, *Mr. George from Restaurant management as well for being helpful*!

1st of All after driving about 8hrs to reach Dahab, the bare minimum is to have a welcome drink or water for the guest but actually, there was no drinking water provided in the rooms, which feels like a basic necessity. The restaurant is far & too small for the number of guests — expect long queues (10+ minutes) for both breakfast and dinner. Both were very poor, with limited and repetitive options. To make things worse, some items seemed like they were recycled from the previous day, and a few were just bad — the cucumber, chickpeas, and cantaloupe were inedible and you can clearly see fungus growing on them. Dinner included things like Negresco pasta with processed chicken that didn’t feel fresh. *If you reserved half-board accommodation, you will find its rules below standards, you shouldn't ask for cold drinks like Pepsi, Mirinda,... etc during the meals and don't expect to have hot drinks packets in the rooms, moreover, hot drinks are only allowed at breakfast for the half-board guests, while only water at dinner.* The room was outdated and had visible signs of neglect. Ants were a problem, and the fridge wasn’t working. When we asked for a replacement, they brought a freezer instead — not exactly helpful. The AC was loud and didn’t work properly for a couple of nights, making it hard to sleep. On top of that, there’s no Wi-Fi in the rooms — only in the lobby — which felt very limiting. Other annoyances included beaten unpaved long entrance area that gave a poor first impression, strict towel pickup rules with limited timing (not ideal if you’re trying to relax, you better be on time!), and inconsistent service *, full time closed kid's area.* While some staff were genuinely kind, others came off as rude or dismissive, *for example:* *At dinner, one of the group asked for extra checken portion, but the chef's reply was percussive, he told him "Thats enough, you took earlier" with a silly smile.

1st impression

This was my third stay at the hotel, mainly because of its excellent location. I also really enjoyed the dinner options. The aqua park and kids' area were perfect for our child and made the stay very enjoyable for families.

There was a bad smell coming from the sink in our room's bathroom, which was unpleasant. Also, there was water leakage from the AC. The breakfast didn't include espresso or coffee, which was disappointing. Additionally, dinner for half-board guests didn't include juice, which I haven’t experienced at any other hotel before.

Great location, pools, beach and location. Staff went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. We were upgraded to front line sea view

The only downside would be that they have far too much plastic used for drinks etc. room service was not 24 hours for food. They would only send drinks after a certain time

Happy Life Village offers incredible value for money. The staff were almost without exception friendly, hard working, attentive and helpful. Beds very comfortable, rooms, balconies and bathrooms kept very clean. We appreciated the complementary plates of biscuits and fruit left in our room every few days. Snorkelling from the reef was amazing, crystal clear water and an abundance of marine life, my husband even saw a turtle. The beach was kept very clean and the staff on the beach looked after us and made sure we had towels, access to shade and shelter. The swimming pools are well maintained and very clean. We didn't join in with the activities provided by the animation team, they encouraged us to participate but left us alone and did not hassle us. We made use of the free shuttle bus into Dahab a couple of times, this made us appreciate the peaceful, out of town location of Happy Life Village. We requested a quiet location on site and were very happy with the rooms we were allocated. We would definitely go back and would highly recommend it to others as a value for money option.

We are vegetarian (vegan at home but prepared to be more flexible on holiday) and the buffet seemed very focused on meat and fish, with few vegetarian dishes available apart from rice, potatoes and vegetables. However the pasta bar was great and the salads in the evening were delicious. I appreciated being able to use the gym but was disappointed that the equipment had not been maintained; several of the machines didn't work (broken cables, missing parts). Most of the gym equipment is TechnoGym - a good brand - so I imagine it would be expensive to mend or replace. I didn't like the amount of single use plastic - I understand the need for this by the pool for safety reasons, but don't see why there was so much plastic (glasses, teaspoons) in the main restaurant. There was no evidence of any recycling taking place either. The only other minor thing was that the piped (mostly instrumental) music in the restaurant (inside and outside) was very repetitive and would get stuck in my head all day! More frequent changes of music would be good :) However these are all minor things, and the reason why I gave 9 rather than 10 out of 10! Thank you to all the hard working staff at Happy Life Village who made our holiday a great one!

They have beautiful reef in their beach - with a bridge that drips you there- and a store that rents gear on the property (Laguna divers- super friendly owner) - out kids had a blast snorkeling multiple times. There a ton of activities in the beach ; some are free like dancing for kids, color fight and yoga. There are many paid activities right there like quad bikes /ATVs rentals with an experienced guide Location is good- 20 minute from Dahab and the hotel provided a free shuttle three times a day although was full a couple of times

Food barely passable. We went in the busy season (Eid) and the hotel staff, facilities and food was barely keeping up. Took the “full package” mainly because it promised unlimited free drinks and ice creams for kids- only to learn the ice cream machine is broken (remained broken for our 4-day stay) and drinks were TERRIBLE quality and amount- we didn’t use that option. The breakfast, lunch and dinners were chaotic at best and people were frustrated with lines and food running out. Rooms were less than passable- phone doesn’t work, no clean towels and we had to ask for extra pillow 4 times.

This is my second time staying at Happy Life Village, and it's totally a great value for money! Great location, nice buffet for breakfast and lunch, and the staff is super friendly.

However, I was disappointed with the inaccurate information provided by the front desk staff regarding the hotel’s activities and events, as well as the hotel shuttle service departure time. This inaccurate information forced me to call a private driver at an extra cost, even though there was a hotel shuttle available at multiple times for free. I feel their lack of professionalism was disappointing.

My family and I spent 4 days at Happy Life Village. We had such a great time! The servers were very kind and welcoming. The manager was very accommodating, and he kept checking up on us. It’s very clean, and the views are gorgeous! Akran and Mike were very friendly, and they’re good at what they do. Saad and Mina were very helpful. They were at the front desk, and they answered all questions that we had. I would definitely recommend coming!

This is the best hotel in Egypt. Great staff , very helpfull .Amazing location close to the mountains. I love this place , I fell there like home. I liked absolutely everything about this resort - a real Home-From-Home with delightful, friendly staff in a location that was perfect for us. The beach is next to beautiful reefs for snorkeling, diving or just relaxing. Yoga-type stretching classes are up for grabs beachside and the staff are available to provide other activities if guests feel like being more active. The hospitality and catering staff again, are a complete delight and do cater for a range of tastes. I particularly liked the friendly banter and attention to detail without staff being overly formal or intrusive whilst guests are dining. Above all, I like how the staff were treated by the Management - this is important. Having spent Christmas and New Year in the capable hands of this clean, comfortable and entertaining resort I can highly recommend it for families, couples or friends. It really is a small village (as the name suggests) but does appreciate that guests might still like contact with the busy shops and restaurants of 'Downtown Dahab', so they provide several (free) shuttles there and back, as the resort is located away from the town in a much more beautiful setting. The Happy Life Village works extremely hard to get it 'just right' for their guests and they succeed. Obviously, if you want 'Disney Does Desert' then head to the large, faceless complexes of Sharm El Sheikh but you'd be missing out on this hidden gem if you do. I will definitely be coming back.
