Vanilla Sky Resort

The highlight of this resort is the courtyard and pool area. It is rustic and relaxed with beautiful vegetation. This is the perfect place to come for rest and relaxation. and the location is perfect as well for R & R. it is on a side street on the edge of the busy tourist district alona beach. I must mention at 6:00 a.m. there are scooters passing by probably locals going to work but i easily got used to that. I recommend renting a scooter. It will give you easy access to the whole island. If you get off the main street a block of way you will find good rates for scooters 350 pesos per day. I shall also mention the restaurant is italian.

However this is not a place to go if you want the beach. It was quite a walk to get to the nearest beach. and the beach is not suitable for tourists at that location. it is busy with tourist and diving boat launching. However Alona beach is within walking distance. Here you will find many restaurants along the main strip and along the beach front. There are nice bits of beach here but quite busy.

Для филиппин - Отель кайф, ресторан в нем кайф, весь остров сюда на пиццу приезжал. Расположение удобное. Номера конечно не прям топ, но спать можно) Бассейн хороший!

Просторный номер, уютная территория, вдали от шумных улиц, но в то же время в пешей доступности главные туристические места. Очень внимательный персонал, решили все наши вопросы по аренде лодки, такси, маскам и т.д. В ресторане при отеле обалденная пицца, рекомендую! Удобно, что можно забронировать номер без банковской карты, для Российских туристов это оазис. Ну и, наверное поэтому, мы там встретили много соотечественников :)

Скудные завтраки, больше двух дней подряд мы не осилили, и ходили завтракать в другое место. У нас был номер лофт, на 4 спальных места, и на верхнем ярусе номера было очень пыльно. Мы там не спали, и заметили не сразу, так что нам это неудобств не доставило, но за такую цену номера это недопустимо. Воду в номер дают только по приезду, в остальные дни воду не приносили. И когда в ночи, мучаясь от жажды, я слонялась по территории отеля, в поисках персонала или воды, нашла спящего охранника, пробралась в бар, нашла кулер и набрала воды. На следующий день выяснила, что оказывается, нужно им приносить бутылки пустые, оставшиеся с 1 дня, и они их будут наполнять водой. Ну такое...

Милый отель, всё как на картинке). Номер немного стартоват, но от этого впечатление не испортилось. Матрас (у нас больные спины)- отличный! Подушки тоже плотненькие! Зелёная территория, милый персонал, купались в бассейне вечером, светит подсветка. На территории ресторан- болоньезе и пицца огонь! Завтраки без изысков, на выбор: континентальный или филиппинский, без шведского стола. До моря минут 7 пешком, мы любим гулять. Зато не шумно в отеле. Хозяину респект и Максу, чей дайв центр находится на территории отеля. Спасибо всем, кто так любит свое место жительства и принимает туристов с таким трепетом!

We stayed as a group of 4 people for 6 nights. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant food is very good. The pool is great for kids and an afternoon relax. The location is 6 min walk to beach, or 10 min walk to the strip. I would recommend it.

レストランの料理が美味しかった

地方の宿泊施設はこんなものなのかもしれないが、薄暗く、室内も虫がいて、シャワーも弱く、水も海水を汲み上げているようで浴びた後もベタベタした。

Wonderful and convenient

Nice Staff, good internet, good restaurant.

Dark room, old ac, too narrow beds in twin room.

Italian restaurant was really good, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming.

It was very dated and felt run down, lots of mould in the bathroom and the shower wasn’t always hot. Also the curtains let every bit of light in, so impossible to sleep in.

Restaurant and grounds were very nice. Food was excellent. My room needed some repairs and paint - and better lighting. Overall good value. I’d stay.again.

super friendly staff not only helpfull with all questions about tourtrips logistics and transport but also for all possibly occuring problems. Refreshing pool, nice outside roofed restaurant with Fan and good food selection with reasonable prices especially the self made Versions of pasta Cheese combinations. The bath and furniture of the room was useable but could be renewed. The Beach is 5 min walking after 10 Min a variety of restaurants and bars are available, alona beach after 15 Min. Dont expect too much for swimming due to corals. Good base for trips to Bohol , the countryside trip is a long day but very recommended

It was a quiet oasis off the busy Alona beach. Setting was lovely, food was amazing and staff very helpful and accommodating . The rooms pleasantly large and quiet

The dive shop is excellent. They are very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. If you like personalized service you will love Vanilla sky Dive shop. The restaurant is good, a little expensive, but good food. The pizza is great. The hotel is just ok, it could be much better with better bedding. There is only 1 top sheet, I kept having to turn off the air conditioning because it was cold, then back on because it would get too hot. A blanket or comfortor would make a huge difference. It is a great location, just off the main road but a 5 minute walk to everything.

Our stay was ok. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. However, there were a few problems. For starters, there was no television to watch, doors to the closets were falling off, brown water coming out of the sink in the CR and the shower kept leaking, could not turn off completely. The breakfast was very simple. Stayed for 4 days and basically ate the same thing everyday. Not many options to choose from.

A nice small hotel with a good restaurant and a small swimming pool. An italian owner, the restaurant is serving an excellent pizza.

There was so kind! And rooms was comfy. And restaturant was best! Pizza was best pizza in my life:) but just one thing is the pool time ended too soon.

It's very pratical to go around the places near Alona Beach, we rent the scooters directly from the hotel, which was very convenient. The service in general was nice, the only negative point was that it was difficult to connect to the internet in the room.

It's very close to Alona Beach and all the restaurants and shops around, hotel staffs are friendly. If I have to say a negative point, it'd be the WiFi, we could only use at the ground floor, other floors the signals were quite weak.

I enjoyed my stay. I like my big room and the staff at all friendly. Breakfast were delicious

A few minutes walk from the beach makes is nice and quiet for families. Good pool and dive center on site and a great restaurant.

Amazing relaxing place

At first i was really disappointed because the floor was really soaking wet.Thanks for being responsive with mh complaints. Overall i really like the place and i appreciate your accomodation.

Excellent for family, quiet place, room are perfect size for the family loft although, not happy of the drinking bottle water refills. Quality of food is perfect, but it takes an hour after order. Nice area close to Alona Beach.😃

Good value for money in a great location

Hotel moyen : meubles vétustes. Pas d’aeration = humidité. TV uniquement chaînes locales. Personnel pas très pro. Restaurant correct. Petit déjeuner très moyen et pas varié. Passer par un chemin pour accès à la plage.

The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel is only a 10 min walk from the beach. There is a swimming pool but we didn’t use it. The food was delicious - as the owner is Italian with the passion for food - they have fresh buffalo mozzarella, great Pizzas/Pastas and Yogurt!

Great place nice location and friendly staff

Staff were excellent. Helpful in arranging day trips at same prices you can get from vendors at the beach. Also arranged delivery of meals to room when requested. Restaurant is good but breakfast choices limited. At least they are cooked fresh. And you have the option of skipping breakfast and getting a free lunch sandwich which is nice.They do not provide drinking glasses in the room which would be nice. But they allowed us to take glassed from their dining area. Not a good beach near their facility. Have to walk or get tricycle to get to Alona beach. And Alona is not a good beach. Just tourist activities like restaurants and water sports. No beach to sun bathe. Take a tricycle or car to Dumaluan Beach instead. Great beach and a few water sports if you want them. Rooms are ok and it seems like they are are trying to keep them fresh as some were getting new paint when we were there. Didn't see any bugs. Blankets are just a thin sheet ( as in several other hotels I stayed at). Would be nice to provide a real blanket as AC gets cold. Overall I recommend i,t but be prepared to take transportation to a nice beach if that is what you want.

Das Hotel ist gut in Alona Beach gelegen. Ringsherum ist es ruhig, aber man kann in wenigen Minuten sowohl am Strand als auch im Trubel von Alona Beach sein. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Die Anlage an sich ist wunderbar. Der Pool ist zwar nicht riesig, aber ausreichend und außerdem sehr gepflegt sowie die restliche Anlage auch. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Bad ist groß und war ebenfalls sauber. Lediglich die Kalkablagerungen im Duschbereich könnten zu meckern auf hohem Niveau verleiten. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Ok soverom og bad, Resepsjonsområdet/restaurant var veldig bra, ellers er bassengområdet et lite paradis. Betjeningen var vennlige og utrolig hjelpsomme, en stor takk for et utrolig fint og minneverdig opphold.

入住第一天就闻到一股霉味，一楼潮湿的原因吗？不清楚，但是不提供拖鞋和吹风机算什么意思。此外房间内没有椅子，想和家里视频聊天，只能把笔记本放在床头柜上，出个东西也是同样，没有椅子坐，只能把吃的放床头柜，从厕所拿出垃圾桶接着。虽然给安排司机去景点，但是很勉强，时间不准时，去看海豚出发太晚，根本看不到海豚，最后一天离开司机也没有准时来接，要不是我提前来退房，估计服务员根本不会打电话叫司机，另外，司机不是真的出租车，仅仅是找个人开车来而已。看到这个消息的不要订这家，感觉很不好

Flott lite hjemmekoselig hotell, stille og fredelig, men kun 5 min. til en herlig liten by med masse trivelige resturanger, barer og butikker helt nede ved stranden. Anbefales.

Very valuable with its price, the food is nice. But the sea tour package that hotel co-work with isn't that good. Didn't take us to ses what it was promised to. (Dolphin and sea turtle) If the swimming pool can open late instead of close at 8pm, it will be even better. (like till midnight)

Very nice resort with a beautiful garden with pool. The hotel is clean, close to the beach. They make a great pizza.
