Sehr freundlicher Empfang.
It is located in a busy party area, but this didn't affect our stay as the room was really quiet, facing the other direction.
Goede locatie
Location
The location was amazing. The rooms were big and comfortable
It’s a very unique hotel, and in a very happening location
The lift is slow, and the spiral stair can be a challenge
Eigenlijk niks , alles was OK.
The noise from the show on main level was loud on level 4. Could not sleep until show was over
Schönes, grosses Zimmer. Nettes Personal. Das Zimmer wurde zügig gereinigt. Sehr sauber.
Most things I needed was on site. Comfortable and relaxing.

Available food and things near by and access to the beach a short walk
Very hard mattress I sleep on my side and couldn’t sleep
Value for your buck, the cleaners for the room are amazing, room so clean and the venue itself could do with a fresh up but it’s nothing to worry about it’s just me. My first stay here and I would stay again.
Location locations location, right in the strip short walk to beach tons of choice for food in walking distance, within 100meters I have Thai restaurant that also do western food breakfast buffet for $15aud so cheap French bakery that does amazing food and cheese salami fresh cakes and bread and a Ozzy restaurant that makes ozzy pies and great food, pizza stand German food and a lot more.
Très propre et bon quartier
Great location friendly staff
Shower was always Luke warm
Very good staff. Very clean and responsibe to any needs
Nothing
I had a very pleasant stay at The Venue Residence. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location is convenient, close to restaurants, shops, and nightlife, yet still quiet enough to relax. The staff were welcoming and professional, and the SHA Extra Plus certification gave me extra peace of mind. I would definitely stay here again.
Personnels sympa
Great friendly service, well appointed rooms and excellent location, central Jomtien, close to beaches. Value for money and good evening entertainment.
I stayed at this small hotel earlier this year and meant to give it a review then, but as I’m staying there again soon I thought I would do it now. As the title says, it is a ’gay’ hotel with a nightly lady boy show, but don’t let that put you off; I’m not gay and I didn’t find anything obtrusive, you just need to be broad minded. The rooms are really nice and the staff, especially Chis the manager, friendly and welcoming. The food menu is limited, but well worth preparing and presented. I have dropped a star only because the pool is small and semi-indoors.
Unlike the rest of Jomtien centre this bar sells bottles of spirits at a top price puts your name on it for return visit and then charge you for more mixers and then there is no service you make your own drinks. Lesson learned moving back to other bars who provide service
Location and the room had everything one required. Fridge, coffee, tea, kettle, comfortable bed, blackout currently, lovely bathroom, balcony and excellent air conditioning.
Nothing not to like.
location of hotel, complementary water and tea and coffee, fridge and good breakfast.
No extra amenities such as swimming pool (larger than the tub sized pool on property, no gym (minor point) and spiral staircase. Room mattress was a little hard (minor point).
Staff was amazing . Room perfect bathroom also . Balcony . And if u like stay in meadle of night clubs and sleep quiet at same time this is a perfect place . Back again this year and again next year
Everything is ok, in the middle of lgbt area ( Jomtien complex )
A little noisy after midnight by music bars.
I was in February and March. It's not the first time I've stayed at this hotel, everything is always great. Excellent location - within walking distance of the beach, massage, exchange offices and the ubiquitous 7/11. Thanks for friendly Team, special thanks to the manager.
Great room. Great service. Great price. Be prepared to hear some music in the evening from the Cabaret Show downstairs. Great room stewards as well. Close to the beach and may entertainment venues. I will stay there again when I return. But will make sure I am not directly over the Cabaret show.
It’s clean a friendly, and there’s great entertainment
Nothing
the staff were very pleasant and helpful
first the front door lock is IMPOSSIBLE it took me 3 days to get the knack of opening it ... i had to go downstairs and get staff to open it for me 2. the bed has a stupid leather surround that protrudes and i kept on walking into it .. today (3 weeks later) i am still treating both infected legs with antibiotics and doctor visits 3.the shower had a kind of fungus growing on the grout 4.the AC dripped like Niagara Falls when turned down low (19) and had to be kept around 25 degrees to stop the flow of water ... the alarming thing was the flow of water dripped directly onto the TV and VIDEO RECORDER 5.if any guest books a room and expects a nice quite room ...forget it ... THE VENUE is in the middle of club land and the sound of the surrounding venues "throbs" thro the hotel until 2 am .... great for night owls but not good if you go to bed early 6.they have no charge back from the bar/restaurant to your hotel account 7.THE STAFF ARE GREAT AND MADE YOU FEEL WELCOMED even tho i report these annoyances my stay there was pleasant and the location is great if you like hustle and bustle
Location will determine if you love this hotel or not - it's right in the middle of all the action. So if you have a room facing the street, it can be noisy at times - but that's a plus for some especially if you want to enjoy the show in the street.
Confusion with out booking - did not get the category we reserved. If it's a concern, confirm direct with hotel before arrival for premium rooms or quiet room.
Bit late with this review. I normally stay at the venue for about a week 2 or 3 times an and just booked for March 2025. Great value, amazing staff great food and evening show. All rooms are nicely decorated and serviced daily. Highly recommend located in the middle of gay area and short walk to the beach
spacious rooms - very good value for money excellent breakfast available onsite
very noisy until 02:00 each night due to proximity to bars
Location, Friendly and helpful staff

Convenient location for the beach and entertainment. Friendly and helpful Manager present most of the day and Staff.
Everything was ok
Very good location. Good food. Large room with good facilities. Honest and pleasant staff.
Had to go downstairs one morning at 0340 to ask them to stop rehearsing as the music was so loud. They did stop though.
Great hotel in the heart of Jomtien Walking Street. Rooms spacious and clean. Food is good and great prices. Lots of fun just outside your door. Beach is easy walking distance. The nightly cabaret show is fabulous and free. Better than the expensive ones in Pattaya.
The cleanliness and the location was fantastic
I could not fault a single thing
Location, value for money
This reviewer strives to assess fairly and objectively across the full spectrum of scores and I am not afraid to be constructively critical where this is warranted. I find that my readers value and rely on this. The Venue is a small boutique hotel of a 3* grade however it delivers consistently to a 5* standard within its category. I have been staying for many years and have yet to find any significant criticism. The hotel is ably managed by Managing Director David and Manager, Chris. The management team provide a welcoming and clean environment that is both comfortable and friendly. The Venue is located within the Jomtien Complex and is perfectly situated to access a wide variety of dining and entertainment options. It is a 10 minute walk from the beach and the Baht Bus into Pattaya (fare 10 Baht) operates from the entrance of the complex. There is an inviting entrance to the hotel that can be accessed by steps or ramp. Once inside it isn't immediately apparent where to go however the bar is to the left and is staffed until midnight. There is always member of management available in the office during daytime hours. After midnight there is a security member of staff on the ground floor. All staff are welcoming. There is a small indoor swimming pool. At the time of my visit a hot tub was being renovated next to the swimming pool this will hopefully provide a most welcome and excellent addition. There are deveral categories of rooms available which, broadly speaking, offer similar facilities, but of differant sizes. All are attractive and I have always found them to be comfortable. The beds now benefit from duvets and that makes a high difference. The airconditioning is very effective and fairly quiet and there is good natural light. There is ample storage space and a safe in each room. Bed linen and towels are changed daily and the room is cleaned. There is a bathroom with shower leading off from the bedroom. The showers may not be the most powerful however they are perfectly adequate. I had a room located at the back of the hotel. These are much quieter than rooms at the front (it is important to remember that The Jomtien Complex is a very active social area) and I couldn't hear a sound after retiring. I slept like a lamb. All bars and Entertainment establishments close at 02:00 and the entire complex falls silent. Two new executive rooms have been added this year, both of which have an extensive terrace with seating and a small table, a lounger and a large outdoor Jacuzzi bath. I found it very pleasant to lie in the tub after experiencing the Venue show and listen to the comings and goings in the complex. The terrace benefits from privacy canopies however there is a nice view of Jomtien Complex. The bar is open until midnight and food is served on a very pleasant balcony from 09:00 until 21:00 (14:00 on Tuesdays). All items are freshly prepared and are of a really good quality. Prices are very fair. On four nights per week there is a theme night And food prices at this is particularly competitive. Nam cooks the food in the kitchen to a very high standard of excellence. Pick, Apek and newest member of the bar team, Nathew, are all very warm and friendly and very proactive. The Venue also provides a cabaret 6 nights per week. This has to be the best show, not only in the Jomtien area, but in Pattaya as a whole. There is no cover charge and drinks are very fairly priced when you consider that the entertainment lasts for over 90 minutes with no cover charge (there is an additional 30 minute "midnight" show currently on Wednesday and Fridays). The 15 or so performers are very talented and incredibly skilled. There is good engagement with the audience, however this is not at all intrusive. I visit a lot of hotels and I will have to say that The Venue is a firm favourite. To me, it is grounded and very real and this is the quality that I like. Simply put, this is the only place I would consider staying in Pattaya.
I stayed here in November for 8 nights. I paid around £185 in total for a superior room. First impressions , fantastic, the room was lovely and clean, very spacious , great balcony with a view over Supertown with a decent sized walk in shower, there was always hot water, the Aircon was icy cold and there was also a fan. A decent amount of plug sockets, and some either side of the bed, which is always nice for phone chargers. Comfortable good sized bed, a room safe and unusually, a reasonable amount of clothes hangers, though there will never be enough for me. I'd suggest booking a room at the back if you're an early to bed early to rise type, it didn't bother me as it had usually gone quiet before I'd gone to bed but the noise from the bars could keep some people awake. The food never disappoints, a decent full English/Scottish/ American breakfasts plus a good amount of Thai options for the inevitable Thai guest, speaking of which, the hotel is guest friendly . There's decent specials on during the week, plus plenty of good restaurants within a stones throw away. They cater for everyone, no discrimination, but please bear in mind, it is situated right in the middle of Supertown , the premier spot for gay Nightlife, so whereas if it's not your thing, you'll still be most welcome and it's a great spot to venture out from, really close to the lovely Dongtan beach, a short walk to Rhompo market and plenty of "straight" bars in the area, but, if you're in any way homophobic, I'd suggest booking elsewhere as the whole area will not be to your taste, The Cabaret runs 6 nights a week and it really is outstanding, there's probably at least 3 or 4 different shows every night in Supertown, but I found the Venue to be the best, please don't forget to tip the dancers, they do an amazing job. Last but not least, the staff, Chris, the friendly manager was always on hand, not that I had any problems at all, and the staff were really amazing, very attentive, never having to wait for drinks, or for plates to be cleared, special shout out to the new guy , a little cutie who was actually called New, for being very patient with me while I tried out my new Thai phrases every day on him. I reckon another 30 years or so and I'll be quite fluent in Thai, who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Would I book again? Absolutely, I usually travel twice a year to Thailand, and this will be my new home from home now that I've found it. Great room, great staff, great location, great food and last, but by no means least , the best Cabaret show in town. Any regrets? Yeah, I wish I'd found this place sooner.
I had a quiet room at the back of the hotel and was little bothered by the noise of the cabaret every night. Comfortable, serviced daily, friendly staff. Convenient for gay bars and massage shops and about 7 minutes walk from the beach. British breakfast and dinner available
I had a large room on the quiet side of this hotel. Simple good furnishings, spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Ideal for exploring all the gay bars and massage shops in Jomtien Complex. About 7 minutes walk to Dongtan Beach. There's a cabaret stage with a show every night at 10:30 if you like ladyboys miming and lip-syncing to recordings. On Wednesday and Sunday evenings at 12:00 midnight there's a small show by the pool with men miming and lip-syncing to recordings. Breakfast is served from 9:30 around the pool. The wide menu is rigidly British and I had to bring my own fruit. Similar British food is served throughout the day and evening. There's a lift, air-con, a delightful small swimming pool Service is excellent. I booked an extra night for ThB 1500. I thought this was good value. Prices may be less for longer bookings and out of high-season
Just had their 3 course pre show meal for 195 baht. Great food, personable service and great value. The pepper sauce is awesome. Chris does a fabulous job keeping this a top destination if your heading to jomtiem. Make sure you are famished if you are having the meal as it is enormous. Sadly, i was able to eat it all :)
Very clean. And close to beach. Check in was very fast and easy
The room was spacious and clean. The location is good, with a great show in the evenings. The food is tasty, and the bar has great cocktails.
The rooms are advertised as luxury but there is nothing out of the ordinary about them. I had the advertised three course set meal for Friday but again it was prety average if that. The location is good as there are plenty of bars and restaurants close by and it is a short walk to both Dongtan and Jomtien Beachm
Huge room and super clean!
Nothing!
Very good.
No complaints.
The Venue is a Gem of a place to stay in Jomtien, Pattaya. The rooms are beautiful, and with nice views. Intelligent design. The bed is nice and comfy; the place is squeaky clean. Facility wise, you have everything you need. They've a great restaurant, and popular Cabaret. But, Best of all is the staff; they make it a great place. A special shout out to the young lady who works nights. And, Chris, it's a great place.
A very friendly, small hotel with that personal 'Guest House' feel. It is in the middle of Supertown, which is basically Gay party central. For 'value for money' you will not do better than this for food or accommodation, my fourth time here and I find the place totally chilled out. From the managers down through all the staff, everybody seems happy to see me everyday, definitely gives me a 'feel good' sensation!
Thanks again for a lovely stay. After all, there were only two days. But it was as usual. The room is clean and nice. and the staff are just top notch, they are so nice and friendly and helpful. Sill come again, see you soon.
Excellent value for money. Large rooms with good amenities. Chris and his team of staff were great. Good food and service. Fantastic cabaret show 6 nights a week. Different show each evening. Close to Jomtien Beach and Cafes and eateries. Extraordinary night life.
Everything was a 10 out of 10. Physically the place spotless, a tip of the hat to owner and all staff. You make this place a hidden gem.

Went to the Cabaret show on Friday night. It is better than the one at Asiatique. More fun and interactive. Stay for the pool party. 😃 The bar is nice and drinks are a good price. No cover charge for the show, just prices a little higher but definitely worth it !
Great location Spacious room Well equipped Everything was working
So much fun here , great show welcoming staff, I do wish more people would tip them, they work very hard and have beautiful costumes. Memorable and fun, many of them have worked here for a long time and when you go you feel like a friend. If you are in pattaya it is a must see.
Large, clean, comfortable rooms, efficient AC. Great food at reasonable price. In the centre of the entertainment area. Short walking distance to wide variety of Western and Thai food options. Short walk to the beach. Plenty of ATMs and money changers. The area has a safe, comfortable feel.
Let me say from the beginning, if I could, I would award this hotel 3.5 stars. Not quite 4 though. The Venue is located smack bang in the middle of Boyztown in Jomtien. This may be either a plus or negative. For me it’s a plus. Let me start with the pros of staying here: 1. Location. Beach is 300 meters walk, both 7/11 and Tops supermarket across the road. 2. Rooms are large.I stayed in an Executive suite with balcony. 3. Friendly staff. 4. Heaps of restaurants & bars within a 5 minute walk. Cons: 1. Location (again). It may not be everyone’s ideal spot. 2. Rooms need upgrading. Especially the door locks & safe! 3. On cabaret nights it can be noisy. But overall, I was happy with my stay here and would return.
I have already given my opinion about The Venue Cabaret during m last july and september. I am most happy to go there again very regularly since my arrival end november. The show is really at higher level than the others in pattaya. The place is large and much aired. When 7 or even 9 artists are on the stage, NO PROBLEM they have the space to enjoy and make the customers joyful! Everybody enjoys and you can obviously see that everybody is HAPPY. So IMPORTANT that feeling! It is really very COOL! Everybody also he staff. Just go, enjoy the show and give each of them a reward for their very nice performance! My stay in pattaya is almost finished but I'll be back in 2 months and GO AGAIN AND AGAIN !!! Such an INEXPENSIVE most PLAISANT EVENING there ( they have also a show near the swimming pool 2 times a week) should be rewarded by your visit. THANKS to all the artists, but also to the management. Richard

Cleanliness, location, staff
The room smelled very bad, weak air conditioning, completely lacking soundproofing
Tak for endnu et godt ophold her. Rigtig godt show hver aften.
This is the second time that i stayed there. This time was also a great experience. The residence is situated into Jomtien Complex just one minute from the bars and restaurants and just 5 minutes walk from Jomtien beach. The price of the room is very reasonable. The room disposed everything that someone could ask for and was very clean. Was clened every day. The food in the pool bar (breakfast and lunch) is very good and in good price. I was eating there every day. There was a very big selecrtion of drinks and coctails in the bar during all day, prepared and served by 2 very good bartenders. The waiters in the salle of the show were very friendly and helpful, specially Scott and Toon. During my stay I thoughtb to becvin my home and into members of my family. I suggest to every one to stay there
if you want to party, you are in the right place
Hearty tasty breakfast included options for Lorn sausage and black pudding.
At times front room noisy from bars
The Hotel is run by UK 2 ex-pats, Chris & Dave, who both ensure it is run on a very personal level. One of the cabaret dancers passed away during my stay, they managed to raise 130,000 TBT for his family, they genuinely care about their guests just as much.
The staff was very nice and the location is convenient
Location was perfect. Room was of great standard. Service was outstanding. Highly recommended.
good place
shower pressure was low
For cleanliness, friendly service and above all value for money you will not do better in Jomtien/Pattaya. Bear in mind this area is 'party town' in the evening, If you want a quiet early night it will not be for you, if you are a party king then climb aboard!
Great value, Attentive staff
Weather.
Es war wie immer.... super !!!
