Yeongdeungpo Lifestyle F Hotel

Good hotel but next to railway line so quite noisy

good location, friendly staff

I hate this property. Despite the fact that we booked for three nights we were required to check out every morning by 12noon and were allowed to check in 9pm. We did not check out on the first day and were charged extra 30,000 WON.

Everything starting from the ridiculous property policies to the extraordinary rude staff as well as unfriendly lifts, there was nothing one can like.

The location is excellent the room and hotel is very nice and clean

Bathroom

Bed was a little hard

The staff was extremely rude. They did not even inquire if we were guest. I selected the hotel because the reviews were great. But the whole experience felt like a scam. Be aware that this property has no concept of customer service and is extremely rude!

I asked simple questions, but the staff had an attitude, and this was when I checked in and checked out. The bathroom was old and nasty black mold everywhere. Somehow, they had an extremely high cleanliness rating. Stay away from the hotel it is the worst customer service experience I have ever had! Do not stay here!

I enjoyed the sunken tub and the high shower head that accommodated my height. In korea, you don't find many places that tall people fit well in. The place was clean and had a rich feel to it. I'm unsure as to why they don't charge more. Although the tub was cracking under my weight, and I was afraid I'd break it.

I believe the website stated checkout was at 1400. Although I knew that normal hotel checkout was at 1200, which was the case. Although this was not a concern and was prepared for. Another slight issue was the use of yellow lights as the main lights. I prefer the white light fixtures.

Location is good. Room size is ok. But very noisy.

Clean but some facilities are broken.

Lobby is nice and modern. The Check-In was really quick, only had to tell my name and got the card. + The room was tidy and clean and had a kettle with two teabags and coffemixes + I really liked the smell of the magnolia fragrance (I think) in the room - only two free sockets next to the television, none in the bathroom - bad airconditioning in the bathroom -> the ceiling had stains and the wallpaper was coming off everywhere, as well as the outer layer of the showerhead. It was really unpleasant being in there In addition one light couldn't be turned off by pressing the button. I slept with the roomcard tucked out. I later told the receptionist about it (hadn't been fixed but she explained I could turn it off with the tv controller. Didn't try though, it had been my last night). The staff was very polite and friendly, although communication in english was a tiny bit difficult. Sadly there was/is a construction area right in front of the hotel and the noise started early in the morning. But can't do anything about it. Conclusion: They try hard but shouldn't forget the small things that could improve the durability of the rooms. I probably would choose it again if they check and repair the obvious flaws (electricity, ceiling). Until then no.

If you are a foreigner looking for a place to stay while you are in Seoul, look somewhere else. This is a love hotel and so there are lots of couples going in and out of here and you can hear them day and night. This place was on Expedia's list of hotels that were availiable to get but I don't know why. Its a love hotel so not designed for people staying here for a period of time. Its in an area where there are no other foreigners and the people in the area are not used to them. I get looks of absolute shock to just open hostility when the people around here realize I am not from there. This was quite a shock to me, since I assumed all of Seoul were used to foreign people but I guess that is not the case. I read from other reviews that people are not nice. That is correct. The people are probably very polite with other Koreans but not so to others. The hotel is also next to a train station, so all hours of the night, there are trains going back and forth, making it very hard to get a decent night of sleep. Plus, since this a love hotel, there are always people cleaning and moving things at all hours. Just not a peaceful, calm place to stay.

Good and economical hotel for bachelors staying , if you dont mind much about the location.

Good sized rooms, great wifi, easy to get work done and close to where I needed to be for work.

Hotel was in a great neighborhood. There is a very nice park across the street and it is close to two subway stops (Line 1 and line 5). It is also walking distance to Times Square, the largest shopping mall in Korea. Front desk didn't speak English but we managed okay. Room was nice. There were a couple minor things we couldn't figure out like how to set the heat (the room was warm). I would definitely stay here again with my family.

It was a little hard to find. The staff didnt speak English, which is fine, but not overly friendly at check in/or out.

We stayed in the suite, which was BEAUTIFUL! It was 2 floors with the sleeping area upstairs and the living area downstairs. The view was great and everything was stunning. I will definitely be going there again.

The stay was fine, had express check in, took about 2 seconds, same as check out. Had a big jetted tub in the large bathroom.

The hotel seems to be love hotel but the room is great. Family can stay there too. The only problem is the staff does not really know English making communication a little bit difficult. Overall, once you find the Hotel I, L and E, you find F hotel.

Cozy room, nice service from the staff members at hotel for lending the adapters to us for recharging battery for two mobiles and other electronic devices. Convenient location - 7 minutes from hotel to Yeungdeungpo station and airport lumousine stop. Close to the food street with lot of restaurant nearby. If it cld include exit 5 in the location information and the website of this hotel, that wld be perfect.

The location is easy to take bus or subway to airport or to city. The room was clean n comfortable for stay^^

I was expecting a language barrier, so having our first host unable to communicate with us wasn't bad - however, not having any instructions about how to get the room functioning was not good. Tips: put key card in slot by door to have lights and water turn on. (I read Korean...Thanks, Mom) Beds are really hard and uncomfortable. Comforter was warm and comfy. Walls were stained, not just by age, but by who knows what....the bathroom....just bad. The faucet was hanging off. Toilet??? The seat was clean.... We stayed because of the price and the location (between the 5 and 1 lines- the 1 we used the most for excursions, 5 was for getting from and to the airport). The neighborhood is host to frequenters of the "love" hotels, this revelation was not cool. The neighborhood does have nice eats and the street vendors are great; but the fliers strewn along the alley street in front of the hotel (and the adjoining G, H, E) made me glad I didn't have young children...I did have a fairly innocent friend who I warned not to look down - she averted her eyes. It was a manageable stay, but I will not stay along this strip again.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Hard to find. Taxi drivers didn't even know where it was. It is located in a kind of back alley. Not a dangerous area though. Subway about a ten minute walk and then 15 minutes ride into the heart of Seoul. Staff did not speak English at all.

I stayed at this hotel couple of nights with family. It's located pretty close to the near by subway station. Rooms were clean. Staff was very helpful. Surrounding area looked little sketchy at first but it turned out OK. Can't beat it for the price.

For 50usd it was the best choice ever

Good stay... Great deep bathtub.
