Fairfield by Marriott Seoul

We loved how conveniently close it was to restaurants, train stations ect. Amazing location and very clean. The staff were amazing and very helpful, especially the cleaning ladies who made sure we were comfortable every day. My partner even lost her stuffed Teddy or accidently went off site to their laundry place, however they sorted this with a timely manner and had it back to us at the hotel the next day. Would highly recommend this location.

Close to 2 different stations so made getting around easy and also a lot of shops and really good restaurants nearby. The cleaners were super polite.

One of the female receptionists when we first arrived was rude, dismissive and had an attitude. She was not accomodating at all. She did not even try. Also the sheets and towels had a funny smell. The pictures were deceiving as the room was so small. The showers had what appeared to be mold on the side down the bottom.

I enjoyed my stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Seoul. Nothing but positives. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet; the fitness center was solid and open 24/7, and with easy access to the airport bus, several metro and rail lines, shopping, and restaurants. Note, unlike Fairfields in the US, this hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast. Other reviewers have cited noise from the nearby train station and from the traffic. I had a room on a high floor and had no issues with noise. Yes, as other reviewers have mentioned, the room was small, but it was quite functional, and the bed was great. And, as other reviewers have mentioned, the bathroom layout is not ideal for privacy if you are sharing the room. But it was clean and the shower had excellent water pressure and temperature. The Fairfield by Marriott Seoul is not the most luxurious property flying the Marriott flag or in Seoul, but it was a nice and affordable option for a few day stay.

My 6-night stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Seoul was an absolute service catastrophe that completely shattered my trust in the Marriott Bonvoy brand. On my first night, severe room maintenance defects forced me to physically pack and haul my own luggage across THREE different rooms over a two-hour period, while front desk staff completely ignored the situation for 90 minutes. The post-stay behavior of this hotel is an absolute disgrace. After checking out, I left official 1-star feedback detailing the failure. Rather than addressing the issue, local operations management, specifically Jenn Kim and John Lee, rejected my repeated requests for standard service recovery. Instead, they weaponized automated email templates to repeatedly deny compensation, hiding behind useless paper breakfast coupons that I explicitly told them I could not use and returned completely untouched to the front desk. To cap off this total breakdown of brand standards, Marriott Corporate Customer Care validated my complaint on June 10 and formally promised an executive review within 5 business days. Corporate then completely ghosted my follow-up emails. When I pushed further, someone from corporate automatically forwarded the case right back to the local property without even looking into it. As a result, a local staff member named Erica Heo simply sent yet another automated template denial under the guise of an "Executive Care" response. It has now been a month since I checked out, which serves as absolute proof that nobody at this property or corporate cares about guest complaints. Because the entire Marriott Bonvoy ecosystem is a broken loop designed to exhaust the customer and avoid accountability, I have completely lost my confidence in them. There is zero accountability, zero customer care, and zero brand integrity at this property. Do not trust their loyalty program, and avoid this hotel at all costs.

The hotel was good, clean and enough light.

The rooms were very small. It's just beside the railway station, so there were continuous train sounds coming in.

扉がトイレと兼用なのは覚悟してましたがシャワールームの構造が良くない…扉の間から洗面側に水漏れします。 タオルは希望すれば毎日取り替えてくれるのでその点は良かったです。 細かい所の清掃が雑に感じました。ゴミ箱が小さ過ぎて不便でした。

Generös frukost med varierat utbud. Det fanns både asiatisk och västerländsk frukost. Jag saknar generellt ost på resor i asien och det var även tunnt med ost på detta hotell. Samtidigt saknades bacon. Allt annat var toppen.

Att hissarna blev förprogrammerade samt att tågförbindelserna i Seoul slutade gå kl 0100 på natten vilket gjorde att taxi var det enda transportsättet.

It’s was very close to the train station and easy to get back to. The staff was very nice and accommodating too.

The elevator closed on me multiple times. The system seemed very advanced but was super stressful and I was worried about being closed in the doors or being left behind

Some rooms (two twin beds ) do not have a door at toilet area. I embarrassed a lot and upset. So next day I asked to change this room. They did.

The linen - towels provided were very old, discoloured and torn. There was no waste bin in the room, when asked I was give a laundry bag to collect.The AC remote was not working. BF for 20000 KW was useless. Horrible.

Good location and staff friendly

The breakfast buffet had the same menu every day. I stayed there for 5 nights, and it wasn't worth paying for the buffet. Luckily, on my last day, the staff made me a new dish for us

Rooms are too small. Toilet has no door. A lot of water drops voice. Quality is low.

ツインのお部屋でしたが、よくある狭いベッドを無理やりツインにしたものでは無く、ベッドが幅広く寝心地が良かったです。基本、昼間は観光で部屋に居ないので、帰って来たら毎日キレイに清掃して頂き、快適でさした。 また、空港バスも便利でした。

やはり皆さんが言ってる通り、電車の騒音です。二重窓や内窓を付けて頂きたいです。基本、ツインの部屋は線路側だそうで、私は12階でしたが、それでも朝は電車の音で、早くから目が覚めてしまいました。耳栓も役立たず、慣れなかったです。

There was a cockroach one time

Housekeeping staff were wonderful. Every time i saw Ms. Yu Mi Suk, she was running to clean the next room. She was super kind and polite. Ms. Kim Hyoun Ah was attentive, pleasant and courteous. Ms. Yeom Jeonggae helped make my room the way i wanted it. They made my room look just left, every day. Towels were clean. The bed was white and nice. The table was wiped clean. I only have gratitude for their work and professional standards. I left a genuine thank you note every single day with expression of my appreciation. Eric at Front Desk is always kind, and helpful.

There's no trash can outside, or in the lobby or in the elevator halls. Please leave some towels in the gym. When we exercise, a towel can help wipe the perspiration. Treadmills sometimes work, sometimes not.

Good clean rooms, daily timely room service. New facility and good location. 4 minute walk to nearest subway, many buses, near a busy food hub.

What I was unhappy about was that the bookings.com page specifically told me my reservation could be changed until 24 hours prior to the stay. They did not honor this as I sent them an email wanting to change my reservation prior.

It was a good size room for 2 beds, and always clean. Location was very convenient next to the train station and bus route for the airport. Staff was always accomadating and good english.

The shower door was double purpose for the toilet, and always dripped after use.

Habitaciones que no tienen vista a la ciudad tienen mucho ruido, debido a que dan con los rieles del tren. Te indican al momento del Check In que la habitación es un poco ruidosa. Un hotel de categoría Marriott debería tener ventanas aislantes de ruido. Amablemente me acomodaron a otra habitación menos ruidosa. Así mismo, mi TV no funcionaba, pero la arreglaron muy rápidamente.

There is no lobby and there was somebody else’s hair in the bed when I turn down the comforter, disgusting. The elevator was confusing. I JUST CAN’T

별루 없었음

객실에서 옷을 분실 했는데도 불구하고 다들 모른다고만 하고 도저히 이해가 안감. 객실 도난이 한두번도 아닌것 같은데 너무 형편없고 서비스마인드도 정말 엉망임. 강하게 비추함.

Cleaners are very polite and kind. Good cleaning and a modern interior. Simple but comfortable.

At the reception it was always very busy during the day time till the evening.

The staff were helpful checking me in. The room was a decent size and clean. It was really nice to have my room reset every day.

The only thing I didn't like was how hard the bed was. Just a personal preference, but i was able to sleep well enough eventually.

The room is quite spacious. And the king bed is comfy. The airport bus goes directly to the hotel which is convenient. There are a few subway lines close to the hotel. Our shower wasn't hot at first, we told the staffs and they fixed it quickly.

The design of the shower is poor. Water drips off the ledge every time we shower. But other than that, it is a pretty good stay.
