Ein paar wenige Personen waren recht bemüht Die Personen an der Reception und die Personen, die die Autos holten, waren sehr bemüht.

Das Frühstück war eher spärlich und für ein 5 Sterne-Hotel nicht ausreichend. Die Auswahl war beschränkt. Trotz mehrmaligem Ersuchen einen 8er Tisch fix für 08:30 Uhr jeden Tag vorzubereiten, war es dem Personal egal, dass wir 4 Zimmer gebucht hatten (8 Personen) und jeden Tag Tische für das Frühstück selbst zusammenstellen mussten Es gab Personal, dass nicht bemüht und geschult war und nicht dem Standard in einem 5 Sterne-Hotel entsprochen hat Ab ca. 22 Uhr wurde die Bar geschlossen und man konnte an einigen Tagen nichts mehr bestellen. Das Badezimmer hatte nur ein Waschbecken

Nice layout inside the hotel & quality of materials.

We stayed at a number of similar hotels through our summer tour of Italy and hotels in Corsica, unfortunately this was the worst one out of those. Stayed for 5 nights, and for a premium price, paid extra for a sea view room, but from lack of garden maintenance, you can’t see the sea, you get a tree view room. When checking in, we were advised we’d need to pay extra for a different room to check into a different room that has a sea view!?! (They offered a free move half way through, but no point when unpacked). Breakfast is not of an appropriate standard relative to the hotel you’re paying for. You could pay additional money for other breakfast dishes, but these were included in the other hotels we stayed at in Corsica and Italy. The standard breakfast was poor quality, we went elsewhere for breakfast a few times instead. Hotel location is remote, but you can see that before booking. Costs €40 for their shuttle arrangement into town/port and back each time. Or walk the 3miles instead. We did both.

Loved the breakfast! Staff was incredible and the room was impeccably clean. They also upgraded us into a beautiful room with a large deck overlooking the grounds. The whole stay was calming and relaxing!

The pool facilities opened at 9am and closed at 7pm, would have loved to come back to the hotel for an evening at the pool/laps in the am.

Das Frühstück ist gemessen an einem täglichen Übernachtungspreis in Höhe von 750 EUR eher kläglich. Der Service zu deutschen, nicht französisch sprechenden, Gästen ist sehr zurückhaltend. Wir mussten zum Frühstück uns schon deutlich bemerkbar machen, um bedient zu werden. Franzosen wurden freundlich bevorzugt! Spiegeleier, Omelett etc. sind mit weiteren hohen Zusatzkosten verbunden. Fairerweise wussten wir dieses vorher! Mittagessen und Abendessen fallen mit je ca. 200 EUR zu buche (2 Erwachsene). Also kleine Vorspeise, Hauptspeise, Wasser, kein Alkohol. Wir waren lieber in Porto Vecchio unterwegs. Das Hotel an sich befand sich auf hohem Niveau, ohne jegliche Schäden in keinem Raum! Auto-Parkservive war top!

Frühstücks-Service, Auswahl der Speisen spärlich und langweilig! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei Mittagessen und Abendessen. Bei Wind duften keine Sonnenschirme aufgemacht werden. Da muss man sich eine Alternative einfallen lassen!

The corridors are so dark you can’t see properly. The staff in the restaurant seemed under trained and at peak times only one person at the front desk which was inadequate. Menu at the restaurant was too limited

Beauté de l’endroit, confort des chambres( grande chambre avec terrasse, salle de bain avec douche et baignoire, WC séparé). Bon petit déjeuner. Belles piscines ( un peu fraîche) et micro-plage (!) Personnel accueillant, très aimable, disponible ( à la réception, à la restauration, au nettoyage des chambres).

La gastronomie un peu décevante et chère.

L’emplacement, la vue sur la baie, même si elle n’est pas exceptionnelle est jolie, les chambres sont très spacieuses et le balcon bien caché derrière des palmiers à l’abris des regards, le petit dej est quali. Le restaurant est très bon.

La froideur du lieu peut être, il n’y a pas grand chose à dire de mauvais, juste que ça manque de chaleur…

Wow — the staff went above and beyond for us every single day! They were truly wonderful and made our family stay exceptional. We had one of the family rooms, which was perfect with a separate extension for the kids to sleep in. The property is run by a lovely family in a beautiful location, less than five minutes’ drive from town.

If we had to nitpick, the hallway to our room was a bit on the dark side, and the room service menu leaned toward the fancy (and pricier) side for in-room dining.

The hotel is really beautiful, the staff are extremely helpful. The setting was delightful - perhaps a little live piano music would have made the ambiance even more enchanting.

It was a bit disappointing to see an additional charge applied for selecting an omelette at breakfast.

Expensive 5 star and paper cups for tea and coffee in the room !!! Way out of the town area and no shuttle into town either other than expensive taxi

Not really open properly - first 2 days breakfasts were not set up correctly - and was a disaster No towels around pools because so few people , paddle boards were not available for use - expensive considering lack of service

The location is accessible only by own car or taxi, which is not comfortable. No entertainment inside, just 2 pools outside and as it was raining, we could not enjoy it. the spa area accessible only after booking. the meals overpriced and the portions very tine, choice very limited. Breakfast very pure for 5-star hotel and during our stay the plates were almost ((which was embarrassing). Service during breakfast very pure.

This is the worst hotel in my experience. It is unknown who gives them the stars I also wanted to say, if you can afford to pay this money, run away from this hotel, this is an ordinary hotel, 3 star maximum, Port Hotel

Food, overpriced and mediocre

We loved the 5 star feel and clean, bright, big rooms with terrace. The outdoor eating and pool was spectacular! As well as gym and an exercise pool!!! All within 20 minutes form spectacular beaches!!! Wow Staff was super helpful and accommodating!!! Especially Pamela who helped us out of a few confusing moments!!! Amazing stay!

Just style wise I didn’t love the dark design of the inside hallways.

Room was fantastic. It was very big, clean and cozy, the view was great!

I didn’t like lunch menu. It was just couple of dishes to be precise 3( like salad, sandwich and gnocchi)

Breakfast was very simple. When things ran out the staff took an awful long time to replace. Also not quick enough at offering the breakfast must -0 tea and coffee.

It was too quiet totally without music. Bar drinks ridiculously expensive even for the best 5 star. 1209 euros for 5 vodkas!

The room was a bit dull and gloomy. No drawers or dressing table. Nowhere to sit to do hair and make up. No sofa on the balcony. No pictures. I adequate clothes storage.

The hotel was beautiful with a well designed lobby, restaurant, outdoor space and pools. Our room was very large with all the amenities we needed and an amazing view of the sea. The staff was fantastic, very helpful and accommodating.

The only thing I would change would be the hallways leading to the rooms because they were dimly lit with dark decor. The rest of the hotel had light colored decor and was bright which was much more pleasant.

This hotel is gorgeous and the staff were all amazing. The rooms were modern and well equipped and the size of the rooms will make you smile with excitement. Be sure to eat in the restaurant in the evening as the sun goes down overlooking the old city on the hill and the Marina!

Durchwegs angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, hilft bei Problemen und erfüllt jeden Wunsch. Die Villa mit privatem Pool war sehr grosszügig gestaltet und ermöglichte eine Menge Privatsphäre. Frühstück eher teuer. Das Restaurant ist definitiv eine Empfehlung wert (auch für Vegetarier).

Très bel hôtel avec un cadre très agréable. Les chambre sont très spacieuses et confortables. La propreté est au rendez vous. Cependant le service n'est pas a la hauteur d'un hôtel cinq hôtel. Ce qui aurait été acceptable dans un hôtel 4 étoiles avec une chambre deux fois moins chère l'est moins ici. Un exemple simple : un voiturier récupère votre voiture obligatoirement à l'arrivée, quand vous voulez la récupérer le soir on vous donne les clefs et ont vous demande d'aller a la recherche de la voiture dans le parc de l'hôtel (quand on a un rdv et qu'on a déjà du retard c'est ennuyeux). Une dame qui a oublié sa serviette de piscine dans la chambre et qui en demande une a l'accueil est prié de remonter chercher la sienne dans la chambre (qu'est ce que ça coûte de fournir une serviette suplementaire pour rendre service à cette cliente?)... Autre point négatif le restaurant. Je conseille plutôt de sortir pour manger. Au final le séjour c'est globalement bien passé. Quelques discordance entre la qualité du service et le standing de l'hôtel.

Helpful staff d'entendre des bruits de tuyauterie qui viennent de chez nous lorsque l'on se douche. Un petit hôtel sympathique avec des très grandes prétentions au niveau du standing. Malheureusement ça ne marche qu’une fois sur trois. L’hôtel est désertique en pleine haute saison. Connection WiFi pénible. La plage annoncée comme “petite” est en effet petite. Avec de l’eau trouble, une certaine odeur et une « profondeur » de 80cm. Le restaurant est ok, sans plus, alors que les prix sont aberrants. Nous avons pris deux chambres pour une semaine. Le matin dés 7 heures les personnes vivant au-dessus faisaient leur toilette et nous écoutions l’eau s’écouler en cascade dans le coin de notre magnifique chambre à 800 euros la nuit. Suite à deux e-mails, une proposition de changement pour une autre chambre de même taille mais moins bien organisée ou une junior suite qui se situe juste au-dessous de la nôtre (donc a les mêmes tuyaux venant d’en haut), nous avons finalement reçu une nouvelle chambre et passions enfin nos 2 dernières nuits confortablement. Mes trois étoiles sont attribuées au design magnifique et au personnel fantastique. Tanja, son équipe de réception ainsi que les jeunes hommes méritent un 5/5!

Bel hôtel bel environnement. Excellent confort. Mais manque une navette pour Porto vecchio. Ambiance trop froide ( rien d'organisé pour la fête de la musique, pas de musique d'ambiance, manque de chaleur dans les lieux communs surtout au restaurant) Aucun geste commercial ni attention particulière. Don Cesar är ett relativt nytt välbeläget hotell strax norr om Porto Vecchio. Härlig om givning vid vattnet och flera fina pooler. Bilen blir bra omhändertagen, även om vägen dit är lite dåligt markerat. Bra reception med bra information och ledsagad till rummet, som var utmärkt och rymligt med bra badrum och fin terrass. Spa finns men vi använde det inte. Den stora besvikelsen var middagen, maten var bra, men servicen var verkligen dålig. Den var så dålig att vi undrade om det var en utbildningsfråga? Frukosten hade liknande drag, men var bättre. Summering: väldigt fin och fräsch anläggning med fina rum, men den dåliga servicen förstärkte känslan om brist på värde för pengarna. Don Cesar har väldigt högt pris , så om man lever upp till den 5* kvalitetsförväntan kan denna fina anläggning möjligen finna sin nisch

We were extremely impressed with every aspect of the Don Cesar and have never before encountered staff so friendly and eager to take care of its guests' every need. Just one minor disappointment - the main pool could have been warmer. And be aware that should you decide to walk into town, it's probably going to take you 30 minutes. Otherwise it's perfect.

Ottimo hotel, qualità excellente delle camere, in ottima posizione vista mare a Porto vecchio

Nagyon konzervatív stílusú, de szép szálloda, minden nagyon átgondolt és igényes benne, fantasztikus az ételek, a reggeli kicsit prózai. Klasszak a medencék, a tengerparti rész kevéssé kiépített. Leginkább pihenésre alkalmas, kevésbé az aktív nyaralásra.

En effet pour notre première nuit nous avons la désagréable surprise de na pas avoir d'électricité dans notre chambre de 23h à 5h du matin ! Ce qui signifie pas de lumière pour ma compagne qui fait de l'achluophobie (peur extrême du noir avec grosses crises d'angoisse), pas de téléphone pour contacter qui que ce soit, pas de climatisation dans un chambre à plus de 30° et pour couronner le tout pas possibilité d'ouvrir les rideaux de la fenêtre puisque eux aussi électriques ! Nous voilà donc à attendre à l'extérieur jusqu'au petit matin avec comme excuse "ne vous inquiétez pas nous allons informer la direction afin que vous soit fait un geste commercial." Et quel geste commercial ! puisque la veille de notre départ était présent sur le lit la facture de la chambre comportant non seulement toutes les nuits, mais de surcroit avec un solde à régler une nouvelle fois car "soit disant" expédia n'aurait pas pris en charge la chambre. Apres un coup de fil passé depuis la réception, Expedia confirme bien à l'hôtesse que tout est payé et concernant notre nuit passé dehors me direz vous ? et bien Mme M.A. C. responsable du Don césar s'est dédouané du problème en nous précisant que c'était suite à un client qui avait trop bu et que celui-ci avait détérioré une applique provoquant un court circuit, ce qui était indépendant de sa volonté et que donc nous ne pouvions pas avoir de la gratuité de la nuit passé à attendre ! Inadmissible pour un établissement de cet ordre !
