La machine à laver et le sèche linge ne sont pas payant ce que je trouve pour une auberge très rare mais super !

The proximity to public bus, food places, beaches & seas, museum …the property’s facilities, & the staff’s friendliness….Next time if I come back, I’ll still choose Ariki Backpackers !

Checking in time no one there when I arrived had to wait no one answered the phone, parking awkward.

Ariki Backpackers is an amazing little hostel in New Plymouth! The staff are so so friendly and down to earth, really make the effort to speak to you and have great advice on the area. It’s easy to make friends with the other guests in the lobby area and there’s also a movie room, balcony’s and a nice kitchen space too. The beds are comfy and the rooms are spacious. Lots of activities to do around New Plymouth too. I will definitely be back!

Property is well equipped, we don’t have to worry about anything because whatever I need so far, they have it. Location is good, near to bus stop, shopping areas, library & museum, beaches, eating areas…

It’s close to the bus stop. Property is offering a good rate for accommodation. Property is well managed, with all things available and sufficient.

Toilet sink should only have I tap, because with 2 taps, 1 cold & 1 hot, I got no way to get the warm water which I want.

Setup of the shower in the room was different than what I was accustomed to at other hostels. Wasn’t a huge fan, but it got the job done.

So cosy and home like. Fantastic friendly staff and guests. Generally a warm upbeat atmosphere

While it is extremely well located there is little outside relaxation room as it has become part of the next door restaurant bar. So no problem step out the front door and there are endless place to enjoy the scenery

Está céntrico, te ofrecen una toalla y es económico. Lo usaría como máximo una noche. Los baños están bastante limpios. La gente de la recepción es simpática y pueden ayudarte en lo que necesites.

A pesar de que el aspecto es bastante antiguo por dentro, moqueta, sofás, etc. la cocina está bastante sucia (encimera, microondas, cubertería y cajones), creo que se tendría que limpiar más a fondo a diario y no es grande, no hay mucho espacio para manipular varias personas a la vez. Las camas hacen mucho ruido y los colchones y almohadas no son las más cómodas.

Emplacement idéal dans la ville, chambre propre, cuisine bien équipée, salle de bain dans la chambre, serviette de toilette fournie. Pas bruyant contrairement aux commentaires lus avant notre arrivée. Nous avons eu un soucis de lit après l'heure de fermeture de l'accueil, et le personnel était joignable via Whatsapp (pratique pour les voyageurs étrangers) et très serviable.

Les ustensiles très abîmés, des draps et serviette avec des taches, l’état de la douche, l’établissement est en soit très anciens ( moquette, rideaux pas très propre) On s’attendait à mieux vu le prix.

Great facilities and friendly hosts, but avoid Room 10 We stayed in Room 10 (a 5-bed dorm with a private bathroom and toilet) from Friday to Sunday. We had to cut our trip short and check out early due to poor weather, but I wanted to share my feedback on the accommodation itself. On the positive side, the room was comfortable, and the hosts were very friendly. The kitchen facilities are excellent—there is a generous supply of cutlery and crockery, and there is always boiling water available, which is a big plus.

I must warn future guests about Room 10. While the location seemed fine during the day, this room is situated directly above a bar/club. The music starts around 11:00 PM and continues until late, accompanied by loud noise from people talking and laughing below. Unfortunately, I found it impossible to sleep through the noise. If you are a light sleeper, I highly recommend requesting a different room away from the bar area. I truly hope the rest of the dorms don't have this issue, as the property itself is well-managed and welcoming.

The best hostel I stay in NZ. Is the old hostel, but staff are really friendly, treat us like family friends!!! 100 /10 !

Die Betten im Family Room waren so unfassbar bequem, ich hab super gut geschlafen. Die Küche nutzen zu können war auch sehr praktisch.

Es wirkte etwas abgewohnt, aber immerhin ist es auch ein Backpackers und nicht das FourSeasons. In der Küche tropfte Wasser durch die Decke nach heftigem Regen 😅

Pokoje super, części wspolne tez. Kuchnia była świetnie wyposażona. Fajne było to że wspolna łazienka miala tak naprawde wejście z pokoju tylko ze byla otwierana z 2 stron przez co byla dzielona tylko z pokojem obok, wiec tak naprawdę byla pół prywatna:) bardzo fajna opcja duzy plus. Pralnia byla dostepna ale trzeba mieć swoj proszek do prania. Personel tez byla bardzo spoko i mily.

Muy amable en la recepción. La cama era cómoda. Habían suficientes enchufes para cargar celulares.

Mi habitación tenía una puerta de acceso a otra habitación, por lo que otras personas tenían que pasar por mi habitación para entrar a la suya. La cocina era muy chica. No tiene parking privado, pero pude estacionar mi auto a unas calles de manera gratuita. Si bien me avisaron antes, justo detrás hay un bar con música fuerte hasta las 3am.

Room had 5 beds instead of 4 but there was only 2 of us so it was fine. Only 2 power bars for the whole room in strange places so not ideal.

Très bien, propre, lit confortable Cuisine bien équipé Bon emplacement (supermarché, magasin, restaurant, plage, café) Personnel sympathique!

Preis Leistungsverhältnis und saubere Duschen.

Ziemlich durchgelegene Betten, Sessel und Couch (Lobby). Aber sauber bezogen und damit wieder okay. Aber so richtig Wohlgefühl habe ich mich nicht.
