As it was quite cold during our visit, having the air conditioning available made a huge difference and kept us warm. The TV with YouTube was also a great bonus, especially since we were travelling with a toddler and it helped keep them entertained after a busy day out.
There honestly wasn't much not to like about the accommodation. The check-in and check-out process was quick, easy, and hassle-free, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was excellent value for money for two nights, and compared to other accommodation options, it was hard to find anything that could match i

Spacious design. Not far from the airport. I appreciated the warning about the slippery bathroom floor and provided mat.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026We had a really lovely time at the Beach Street Apartments over Easter Weekend. The location was perfect for us to access the New Plymouth cycletrack and walkway into town or north up to Bell Block. We loved being able to pop down to the beach for a coffee or wander along the track. The room itself was spacious and well supplied with kitchen crockery and cooking utensils. We found the bed to be comfortable and enjoyed the TV and the number of TV stations that we were able to watch. Car parking was right outside the unit and although the location was central to the city, it was still quiet. We loved the double glazing and block out blinds. We would stay here again!
