Reviewed Jun 21, 2026We love the convenience of being close to town and how well the rooms are laid out. This place is always clean and comfortable. There is a heat pump and electric blankets. The shower is really great. Check in is always super simple no matter what time we arrive.

I booked this accommodation as it said bikes were available for use. When I asked about the bikes the lady said they were locked in the garage and the owner was away so she didn’t know where the key was. I felt it was more like I can’t be bothered as I’m sure if the owner left her in charge, she would know how to access everything. She also asked when we checked in if we would like our room serviced as we were staying for 2 nights. I said making the bed and clean linen would be enough. We went out all day and returned around 5pm and the bed was not made and towels were sitting on the table.

Great space, comfy chairs. I've lived in a Lockwood and loved it, they do make a few noises at night, the wood moving slightly, once again love it and part of a Lockwood
