Gute Lage. Sehr ruhig in der Nacht.

Leider waren die Matratzen sehr hart, sodass wir alle schlecht geschlafen haben. Besonders enttäuschend fanden wir die Aufteilung der Schlafbereiche. Es gibt keine wirklich abgetrennten Schlafzimmer. Ein Bett steht einfach im Kellerbereich, ein weiteres im ersten Stock – jeweils ohne richtige räumliche Abtrennung. Auch das obere Badezimmer ist problematisch. Es hat zwar eine Tür, aber keine vollständig geschlossene Decke. Dadurch hört man im Wohnzimmer praktisch alles, was im Badezimmer passiert. Privatsphäre sieht anders aus. Ein weiteres großes Problem ist die fehlende Möglichkeit, die Schlafbereiche richtig abzudunkeln. Einige Fenster lassen sich nicht verdunkeln. Zusammen mit den fehlenden Türen und offenen Schlafbereichen bedeutet das, dass es morgens überall hell wird, sobald die Sonne aufgeht. Insgesamt war die Unterkunft für uns deshalb insbesondere hinsichtlich Schlafkomfort, Privatsphäre und Raumaufteilung enttäuschend.

It was really easy. You just have to go to the check in counter and you have a envelope with the keys ready under your name.

The amount of money that you are paying is worth everything but there should be a little bit kitchen stuff … to start of at least a microwave.

The cabins are so cozy surrounded by nature, everything in the cabin so new and clean. Has all the utensils and accessories that you can need for a short stay.

There is no staff present in the cabins after 4 pm. The light went off during the evening and we had to wait until de next morning to have it fixed because there is no body at the hotel and neither picking up the phone outside the working hours.

Close to woods and a pleasant walk to the sea front. Good size indoor pool. Cabin was well equipped and clean.

Bedrooms quite small and one of the beds was not very comfortable.

I love the location and the cabin itself. The beds are super comfy, the bathrooms are nice. The space is large and all kitchen utensils etc are available.

It's pretty pricey for not having any kind of service or support available. We had some struggles with the Internet and there was sawdust dirt all over the front steps. You literally pick up an envelope from a wall and then go to the cabin. If there is any issue then you're out of luck because there is no one at the property. We arrived at 4:45pm and tried calling the number on our welcome package for some help. Left a voicemail. No one called back. When I sent an email I received a response saying I never called. Overall, the property is lovely but we thought there are no bowls and knives. When we tried loading the dishwasher as instructed we realized there are dishes still in the dishwasher... So now we're doing dishes for a place that charges you $1000 per night? That seems wrong.

Spotlessly clean inside the units and all the grounds. All cooking equipment was supplied. Very well appointed. Comfy beds. Quiet location.

Cabin we got was not exactly what we were promised--i.e. sofa bed instead of one of the two queens we expected. Stairs to lower level were quite steep for an older person. Because all three levels are open concept, you can hear every cough etc. from all three levels. Seating in living area felt a bit limited for four.

Beds were comfortable, loved being able to open windows for the air and wave sounds, deck for having quiet coffee was perfect with the thoughtful throw. Just a lovely experience.

It was too warm for sleeping comfortably. Open windows would have been great for me, but my friend can't sleep with noise (even wave sounds!) So, really a problem of choosing a better companion, not so much a room problem!

The cabin is lovely and facilities are good.

We slept on the sofa bed which which we couldn't get to lay flat. It was like sleeping on a banana

View of the Ocean from the upstairs bedroom was stunning. The trail from the Cabin leading to the beach was an easy walk straight onto the beautiful beach.

The cabin has a lot of stairs which for elderly people should be pointed out at the time of booking.

Der Standort sowie die Ausstattung waren super! Die Buchung, Check-in und Check-out sehr unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft ist groß genug um mit 3 Kindern dort Urlaub zu machen, eine große Küche und eine Waschmaschine helfen da sehr.

Vom Personal haben wir nie einen gesehen, hatten versucht mal während der Öffnungszeiten was zu fragen, aber es war keiner vor Ort. Es hätte tatsächlich etwas sauberer sein können.

The Cabins are clean and have all what we need for cooking. The Beach very near to our cabin.

Room is spacious and clean, beds are comfortable, the cabins include everything you need for the vacation. The location is great. Self check-in and check out is really simple.

Missing a blind in the living room, the blind cannot fully cover the window. It would be better to have tin foil provided for baking.

A number of steps to access the property

It’s a peaceful, beautiful and comfortable place, pretty spacious and with an amazing bathroom. In the common area you can find board games and puzzles. Everything was exceptionally clear and convenient.

Nice place, quiet, location is perfect. The room was spacious and airy, and our room had a great view. Bed was comfortable and sleeping quality was good. Bathtub was amazing! Check-in and check-out process was smooth.

When the guests upstairs were taking bath, there was a loud repeating noise between the rooms (pipes?), which was annoying, but not a big deal.

De locatie met geweldig uitzicht, prachtige en complete kamer.

Het enige wat we kunnen noemen is de onpersoonlijke ontvangst/uitchecken; er is geen personeel, maar self check-inn/ check-out.

No hot water the first day

The cabin is a beautifully constructed wood building with a high ceiling, 3 spacious levels, lots of room inside, and balconies that are surrounded by trees, with the sound of the ocean in the distance and birdsong. The beach was a 1 minute walk away.

We loved everything.

我们三人入住的是最高级的海景别墅。入住当晚当我们使用了一次浴缸后热水供应就中断了。一直到早上9点才恢复。事后联系相关人员进行处理。得到的回复是热水箱容量小，所以需要十分小心使用热水。但在我们入住前却没有任何事先告知。事后处理态度傲慢冷漠。不建议入住此酒店。

It was a beautiful location, a quiet retreat in the rainforest. It was a clean cabin, spacious and had everything we needed.

Well appointed kitchen and dog friendly considerations, ie sheet for covering couch, dog towel. Loved the bath and shower products.

Outside door mats and entrances were gravelly and sandy which is minor, but we tracked it in. Inside was beautifully laid out and could of used some art and nice bobbles. Thanks

The maid unlocked our door with her keys at 10:40 AM without knocking when we were still getting packed up for 11:00 AM check out. Wasn’t dressed or prepared to be walked in on.

Edited after reading The Cabin at Terrace Beach's response. Yes, you did respond to my emails in a timely fashion, and you did send me an updated invoice. When I realized the new invoice you sent was charging me extra for my pet, even though the original invoice said that pets were included in the price, I started messaging you to sort it out. The day you stopped responding to my emails was the day we were arriving, and I proved my point with pictures so you couldn't argue anymore. I see that you have found a way to update your listing on Booking.com to no longer say "pets included in price" after telling me "we cannot control the way Booking.com displays information." When I booked my cabin, both the listing and the confirmation email stated that pets were included in the price and no additional charges would apply at the property. After informing The cabins at Terrace Beach of the number of pets I would be bringing, I received an updated invoice indicating an extra fee for my pets. Despite multiple email exchanges regarding this matter, I did not receive a response on the day of my arrival, and the additional charge was ultimately billed to my credit card.

Ocean and forest view from the front windows was wonderful.

It was pet friendly, and a great little getaway with the dogs. That was free parking, which was also great. And you had all the amend you would need to cook in cabin if you wanted to.

I had to ask if the water from the tap was drinkable maybe if it’s in the paperwork when we get there that would be great.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen und super ausgestattet. Das Bett war sehr bequem.

Es war leider sehr hellhörig von der Wohnung über uns. Ich würde das Zimmer nicht mehr buchen, sondern nur eins in der obersten Etage.

Clean rooms. Within walking distance to beach.

Clean, just enough space for everyone. Equiped kitchen if your wanting to cook. Could use a couch downstairs. Quick access down to the beach. Easy hike to the lighthouse with views of the ocean. Easy to get around town with good food around.

Location was wonderful. Upside down cabin was ideal to enjoy views of surrounding forest.

The bedroom curtains / blinds were not blackout blinds and left small gaps at edge. As the rooms were on ground floor where people could walk past window it felt as though you were visible inside once it was dark. Only a minor issue for us but one that could be more problematic for others.

Comfortable and clean cabins. Great craftsmanship. Quiet, private beach. Lovely.

Entry keys took a bit of getting used to but once explained by the very helpful staff, was no problem.

This property is the perfect place to sit back and relax. The cabin has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

No air conditioning, had to leave patio door open during the night which is a security risk.Noisy from people walking about on floor above. Rubbish bins at entrance to building, not a good look. Although the weather is uncontrollable we had fog the whole three days we were there. Apparently it’s well known by locals as Fogaust in Ucluelet extending into September. If we had known this we would have visited another time of year.
