Family of five (2 adults, 3 kids from UK) visiting Vancouver island. Incredible apartment and location. Everything was provided and thought about - lovely touches and provision of excellent tea and coffee. Hosts checked in every day and when we needed new sheets provided them promptly with no issue. We loved the hot tub with forest views. We saw deer from our window!

This place was wonderful!! Brand new and sparkling clean with super comfy beds! The sofa bed was great, we needed the extra space for our family of 6. Enjoyed the hot tub and the quiet, peaceful location! Super close to the Lighthouse Loop walking trail and Terrace Beach. We enjoyed both!

We very much enjoyed the townhouse, with its excellent facilities and location, close to the Lighthouse Trail and the Wild Pacific Trail. We loved the woodland setting.

We have one recommendation, that the maximum volume of the television not be too limited.

Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigeren Lage. Von hier aus kann man Ucluelet und Tofino, sowie die weitere Umgebung gut erkunden. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und extrem hell. Das Inventar wirkt sehr hochwertig und gut gewählt. Wir haben unsere 3 Nächte mehr als genossen.

Fabulous location within easy walking distance onto Spring Cove Interpretive Trail with tidal mudflats & part of the Wild Pacific Trail. Spotlessly clean, very good facilities, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds/pillows, spacious & comfortable living area. The hot tub was a bonus & nice to relax in after a day trail walking!

We had breakfast at the Break Bistro. Excellent bakery. There were several seaside trails that started within walking distance. The unit is very well equipped- even though we didn't eat in this trip.

The property was very spacious and comfortable, the hot tub was a very nice touch as well. I would highly recommend the calmwater retreat , this was our second time staying at this property.

We liked EVERYTHING about it

Such a beautiful home! Fully equipped kitchen to cook, the washing machine was really appreciated especially as they have detergent to use as well. Got to use the hot tub after a long day of exploring:) Very cozy, lots of room and very clean as well! I would absolutely stay here again!

Wild Coast Trail started right across the road along with Terrace Beach and Spring Cove.

Beautiful, clean Scandinavian design aesthetic, very spacious and comfortable. It had everything we could possibly need in kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Great location with forest seen through huge windows, but very close to the downtown area.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft im Wald, durch die Bäume kann man die Bucht sehen. Die Cabin liegt direkt an einem Wanderweg, man erreicht super den ‚Lighthouse loop‘. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, fantastisch ausgestattet (in der Küche gibt es wirklich alles) und gemütlich. Auf Nachfrage hat der freundliche Vermieter sofort reagiert. Besser geht‘s nicht!

Eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, hervorragende Ausstattung. Etwas ganz Besonderes, was unsere Reise verschönert hat!

We had an 11 month old with us so having a highchair and other baby/child paraphernalia was much appreciated!

The beds were awesome but an option of a thinner pillow would be helpful. Several of the adults in our group found the pillows too thick.

Beautiful, modern design building. Gorgeous space to be in, such a clean and well thought out layout, a pleasure to stay. Sparkling clean hot tub was a welcome bonus after a day spent hiking and exploring local beaches. Location is fantastic and for us a fun drive to anything we wanted to see in the area. Very responsive, and caring host.

Loved the location, the giant glass windows looking out into the forrest and the hot tub. Well fitted out and stocked. I would definitely recommend.

The place was so well stocked with everything from the kitchen items to the bath, bed and hot tub stuff. Comfortable beds and rare to find a place with two king beds. The space was open and great for spending quality time together and located right off a trail network in Ucluelet. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking in the area!

Prachtig appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien, goede bedden, hot tub heerlijk. Ligt perfect aan trails. Een heerlijke plek om aantal dagen te verblijven.

Perfekte Unterkunft. Nette Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Alle Anfragen innerhalb kürzester Zeit beantwortet. Ein späterer Check-out war unproblematisch. Für alles war gesorgt. Es gab eine Grundausstattung an Kaffee, Olivenöl und Gewürzen. Die Ausstattung ist super. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt benötigt.

It was exactly what we needed. All the conveniences in the house to cook. Easy to access local hiking trails. Easy to access the beach. And just a comfortable and cosy stay.

We loved the design and furnishings of this home. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. We were surrounded by forest and hiking trails. The hot tub sits against a forest background. We were close to all amenities. The caretakers were very responsive.

Hot tub - contemporary - new - clean - basic kitchen items like oil etc - lots of towels and toilet rolls, shampoo etc Lots of space. En-suite rooms great. Great location.

Some lamps to soften the space - dish washer tablets (small issue but we only stayed one night) - bit noisy in bedrooms when upstairs walking around or tv on. But it’s a lovely open space so noise caries a little.

Fabulous modern style property in a beautiful coastal location close to Ucluelet town. We had a wonderful stay at the house, it had everything needed to relax and unwind. Will be back.

Very nice well appointed new cabins. Well located in Ucluelet a short walk to Amphitrite Point Lighthouse. The downtown is just a short 5 min drive.

The cabins don't have gutters so roof drainage makes quite a noise as it hits the lower flashings outside. While the EV chargers were appreciated they are only lowest level of charging which takes a very long time. A level two charger would cost about $6 in electricity and would easily charge overnight.

The kitchen was perfectly appointed—sharp knives not in a knife block (a rarity in rentals!), an induction cooktop, and not a hint of clutter. It was stocked with exactly what you need. The thoughtful touches extended far beyond the kitchen. A wall-mounted case held outdoor towels, perfectly positioned for convenience. There was even a foot wash at the entrance to the hot tub—a detail that elevated the experience and kept everything tidy. Beautifully scented soaps and the serene view were nothing short of breathtaking. This rental isn’t just a place to stay and make do. The combination of intentional design, thoughtful details, and a stunning natural setting makes it a true retreat. I can’t wait to return.
