Coco Garden Resort Okinawa

My favourite hotel in Japan - I love it here. The food is excellent, the personell super friendly and the extras when staying longer are amazing! The garden-feeling of the hotel is really cozy - a really relaxing place . I love the access to the beaches via the associated hotel (also try the "Maribu" beach next to the associated Renaissance hotel for snorkling in good weather).

It was one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed at. The Coco Garden Resort has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay, with excellent facilities and complete, high-quality food. What truly made our experience special, however, was the kindness, warmth, and professionalism of every member of staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. We were also told by one of the staff members that we were the first Portuguese guests to stay at the resort, which was a lovely and particularly gratifying surprise for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Coco Garden Resort to anyone visiting Okinawa. We would certainly love to come back! 🇵🇹❤️🇯🇵

We loved our 6 night stay at Coco Garden. The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was nice and really big! The food in the restaurant was amazing! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent. One night we used the free shuttle bus to the Marriott and had the buffet dinner at Renaissance, and that was great too. The pool was a beautiful temperature and it was never busy. The helpful lifeguards let us borrow goggles which was great. It was the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing escape. We loved the 2 tortoises, but would like it if they had a bigger area to roam. Currently it’s very small and it’s clear they want more freedom to walk around. The gardens are so big, so it would be easy to extend their fenced off area. Please give the tortoises more space. The free shuttle bus to the Marriott was really handy and we went there a few times, including to swim at their little beach and to do a snorkelling tour.

Sehr in die Jahre gekommene Hotelanlage in einem schön angelegten Garten. Grosszügige Zimmer mit allem was man braucht. Sehr positiv war, dass man in einem Partnerhotel alle Facilities benutzen konnte (Strand, Pool, Fitnessraum, verschiedene Restaurants). Mit Shuttlebus gut erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und unterstützend, leider kaum Englisch sprechend.

Die Anlage ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad kann schon fast unter Denkmalschutz gestellt werden. Das Abendessen hat nicht überzeugt - jeden Abend dasselbe Angebot und in mässiger Qualität. Gut, dass man aufs Partnerhotel ausweichen konnte.

Zelo ustrežljivo osebje, lokacija je super, lep razgled nad mestom. Bazen velik, na lepi lokaciji. Organiziran prevoz do plaže in sestrskega hotela, kjer lahko koristie tudi njihove storitve.

Sehr freundliches und respektvolles Personal. Leckeres und gesundes lokales Essen. Bibliothek als Rückzugsort, an dem auch mal keine Musikbeschallung herrscht und man sich der Literatur hingeben kann. Pool, gepflegtes Gym. Idyllisch und läd zum Träumen ein.

Poolöffnungszeiten. Man durfte erst am 9am baden. Gerade wenn die Sonne bereits um 6 aufgeht und man wach ist, sollte das für Erwachsene gestattet sein. Eher ein Hotel für Erwachsene und weniger für Kinder geeignet. Da können schon mal Welten aufeinander treffen.

El personal es encantador. El restaurante un 10. El hotel es muy tranquilo y muy agradable. Cuidan mucho la limpieza y los detalles. Nuestra habitación era muy amplia y la cama muy cómoda. Tienes la posibilidad de ir al otro hotel de la misma cadena y disfrutar de sus instalaciones (está en la playa) Muy recomendable.

Muy limpio, amplio, lleno de vegetación, fácil acceso en coche a varios puntos de la isla y el personal súper atento. Cada noche tienen una actividad junto a la piscina Da la posibilidad de ir a comer y disfrutar de una playa privada en otro resort

La comida en muy local, así que para extranjeros (particularmente de América) el desayuno puede ser poco variado, pero dan la opción de comer en otro restaurante (muy cerca en coche) donde si se encuentra de todo.

Schönes Hotel im einfachen Stil, aber mit Charme (wer einen älteren Baustil mag). Sehr gepflegt, sauber und mit viel Engagement geleitet. Durch die Partnerschaft mit einem Strandhotel ergeben sich weitere Optionen, insbesondere wenn man mehr als 5 Tage gebucht hat (Coco Club mit z.B. kostenlosen Mittagessen).

Frühstück war gut, wenn auch nicht mit viel Auswahl. Die Kaffeemaschine könnte jedoch mal erneuert werden.

De prettige tropische sfeer en gastvrijheid van het personeel. Mooi kleinschalig resort

De ligging in de stad was niet fantastisch maar wel een mooi uitzicht

het personeel is enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. we willen werkelijk alles voor je regelen. dit maakt het verblijf enorm fijn. daarnaast is het erg groen en mooi qua uiterlijk . kamer zijn erg schoon.

Als je vanuit China komt en alles high-tech is en je komt op Okinawa dan ga je even terug in de tijd. Bij Coco zeker. de kamers zijn brandschoon alleen wel echt "retro" en niet meer van deze tijd. Het resort komt echt uit de jaren 80 en eigenlijk komt alles nog uit die tijd, maar het heeft ook wel weer wat. het resort heeft een hoge rating en dat komt vooral voor het personeel en door de link met het andere resort aan het strand waar je van alle faciliteiten gebruik mag maken. Er is een winkelcentrum op loopafstand en daar kun je ook een keer een avond lekker eten. Al met al is Okinawa geweldig

Everything. The staff couldn’t haven been more helpful, the resort is in an idyllic garden location with a beautifully large pool area. We had access to their sister resort on the beach as well which we used for breakfast and lunch some days. The room was very large for Japan and a much needed change after very small rooms.

Nothing. We’d hired a car but I imagine if you didn’t this would feel very in the middle of nowhere.

Coco Garden to oaza w środku miasta, zupełnie niepozorna lokalizacja. Obsługa na najwyższym poziomie, ale to chyba atut każdego miejsca w Japonii… Człowiek czuję się tu zaopiekowany, a kurtuazja wychodzi poza utarte obowiązki. Kultura osobista, uczynność pracownikow, a także bonusy, które hotel ma do zaoferowania to znacznie więcej niż to, co jest w opisie.

有在森林中的氛圍，早上很多烏鴉叫聲，感覺很有趣，另外退房當天還可以使用萬麗酒店的泳池設施，然後在那邊可以玩到下午，在萬麗退還房卡，很有彈性

泳池太深，不適合較小的小朋友，不過有提供游泳圈可供使用，另外因為森林系飯店，蚊子有點多，還有房間風格比較舊一些

Toda la experiencia fue excepcional. Realmente fue un placer alojarnos en Coco, nos trataron muy bien y todas las instalaciones y actividades que incluía nuestro paquete eran de 10. Desde la habitación, que era muy amplia y cómoda, con parking propio, al spa, la sala de karaoke o la pista de tenis. Y el acceso al otro resort, Renaissance, que está a 10 min en coche (y hay autobuses lanzadera) donde puedes disfrutar de una playa privada y actividades acuáticas, fue una gran sorpresa que aprovechamos mucho. La piscina no la pudimos usar por el mal tiempo, pero se veía espectacular. Y la sorpresa que nos dieron por mi cumpleaños durante la cena fue fantástica, con foto de recuerdo y todo. Además, el desayuno era muy variado para todo tipo de gustos y muy rico. Y las comidas incluidas y las cenas de pago también.

We had the most wonderful stay at Coco Garden Resort earlier this month (March 2026). We stayed two nights while visiting friends in the Uruma area. The resort is in a garden-like setting on a hilltop overlooking city and water views. Rooms are arranged around the garden and pool and a central building which has the reception desk and a restaurant etc. I believe they provide free parking though we did not need. Our room was very large, perfectly clean with everything we could possibly need. It was very private, quiet and restful. There is not a single thing to complain about, other than maybe the TV channels were all in Japanese and we don't know Japanese? Most important signs were in English as well, so no problem at all. We tried the on-site restaurant for breakfast only (included) and it was of a high standard. The best part were the staff. The very helpful gentleman who checked us in (sorry did not note his name) and the gracious Touyama who guided us from there, explaining about the resort, taking us to the room in a golf cart, carrying our luggage, and so much more! She was the perfect host, and a fond memory of our stay in Okinawa.

Need a car to get around (or taxi). TV channels are all Japanese.

The room we booked had a bad smoking smell, after claiming it, we got a different room, which was very beautiful and did smell good. Personal was very helpful and friendly.

The strict rules that many things were only available for coco club members. So, it was not possible to eat in one of the other restaurants the breakfast, only in the coco garden hotel restaurant. Very bad was, that the onsen in the partner hotel was also only available for the coco club members, for which you have to stay 3 nights at least. We didn't know this and had only booked for 2 nights. I can understand it in high season but it was low season and the weather was still too cold for going outside into water, so beach and outside pool were not possible. That in such cases, the onsen was not made possible to use even for offered extra payment, is not understandable. As there is not much to do if you have no car, it was a very disappointing part of the trip and will cause, that we will next time search for some other hotel which is more flexible and which can guarantee a good relaxing time without sticking to their not customer friendly rules.

Geweldige locatie temidden van het groen, zeer vriendelijk personeel, uitstekende voorzieningen met allerlei extra’s als je gebruik mag maken van de Club Coco Card. Zoals ontbijt en lunch inbegrepen en gebruik mogen maken van de faciliteiten van Renesence hotel wat aan het strand ligt. Ook daar mag je ontbijten en lunchen. Een shuttlebus brengt en haalt je. Check vooraf of je in aanmerking komt voor de Card want die is gekoppeld aan het aantal dagen dat je verblijft. Soms al twee nachten.

Szép környezet.

今まで泊まったリゾートホテルの中でも特典が凄く、もう1つホテルも利用でき大満足。 とにかく静かな大人のリゾート！ コテージに宿泊したが、入り口までレンタカーを着けられ荷物下ろしや出発も何不自由無く過ごせた。 プールを含めライトアップも綺麗だった。

唯一STAY清掃の時間がマチマチだった。

It was our second time visiting Coco Garden. We absolutely love this hotel and can’t wait to come again. Our highlight was the snorkelling trip to Minnajima. What an absolute gem!

The hotel restaurant has a great local loose medicinal tea. I wish they would serve it all day and sell it in the shop. I could not find it anywhere.

Surrounded by trees like being in the woods. Rooms were clean and did not hear the folks on the other room. Easy to call for ride to the front desk. Staff was courteous and attentive. Dimsum buffet was outstanding and delicious. Breakfast was full of choices and relaxing. I loved everything about the resort.

Deze accommodatie is geweldig. De service is top, het eten is heerlijk en het zwembad is fijn en groot. Er is een gratis shuttle bus naar het renaissance resort. Hier mag je ook je ontbijt/lunch doen bij een aantal verschillende restaurants. In de buurt kan je ook allemaal leuke dingen doen en de resorts bieden verschillende activiteiten aan.

De bedden waren wat hard. Dus hou daar rekening mee. Verder was alles perfect. :)

리조트의 주변에 주거시설이 많아서 그런지 야식(음주)을 즐길 수 멊었던 점이 조금 아쉬웠으나, 조식을 비롯하여 음식은 신선한 재료와 정성이 담긴 정갈하면서 맛도 좋았습니다

리조트의 규모가 다소 작아서 산책 및 레저에 아쉬움이 있었습니다

Swimming pool is great for adult. Very deep and clean - well managed. Limited restaurant option. Only one mess hall. You can enjoy other water activity at nearby Renaissance hotel (same hotel chain they said) whiich is very big resort. But some of facility (at Renaissance) can not be available to COCO Garden's client.

櫃檯人員入住登記時介紹的非常詳盡，還親自引導我們到入住的獨棟房間(附車位)，大床有附蚊帳，自助式早餐算豐富。

Au calme mais eloigné de tout. Pas d’activité sur place. Une piscine occupée par des enfants.

Il est necessaire de prendre la navette et se rendre au renaissance pour avoir accès à la plage. Les activités courantes étaient payantes de par mon statut.

We go there every year and love Coco Garden very much as always stay for more than 5 days. It has been as enjoyable as always, except one can no longer use the Onsen in the Renaissance Hotel every day. It is limited to once per stay now, which would discourage us to come back next time.

過去に行った海外の南国リゾートホテルを思い出させてくれる自然あふれる静かな素敵なホテルで、のんびり有意義な時間を過ごすことが出来ました。タクシーでワンメーターくらいの距離にスーパーもコンビニも飲食店もあるので凄く便利でした。海水浴は送迎バスでルネッサンスリゾートオキナワホテルまで連れてってくれるサービスがあったので利用させていただきました！朝食もビュッフェで朝から盛りたくさんいただき、美味しいコーヒーもいただきました！自分でしぼるオレンジジュースも美味しく最高でした！ また是非泊まりたいと思いました♪♪♪

提携しているルネッサンスリゾートの施設を利用できるのでとても便利です。 また朝食がとても美味しいので沖縄に行く時は いつもこのホテルを利用します。

ココガーデンの連泊すれば素晴らしいサービスがあるというのはありがたいです。スタッフの方々もお気遣いいただきありがとうございました。 居心地の良いホテルです。

Loved, loved, loved this small resort. In a peaceful residential area, the resort is tucked away from the main road and your accommodation is located in the middle of a little garden paradise. The rooms were very spacious with a little balcony to the rear with a table and chairs. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Always there to assist and answer any questions I had. Am very grateful to staff who helped me to arrange several days trips, organising taxis and/or explaining the bus routes and connections. Sometimes using a mini translator to ensure that I understood everything correctly. I stayed 5 nights and due to that received Club Coco membership, which included breakfast and lunch. The resort also hosts free special events on a daily basis during the day and also some evenings. I managed to a enjoy a cocktail evening, Dim sum dinner and a cooking class. Breakfast was fantastic, such a large variety of both western and Japanese food to choose from, freshly cooked and topped up on a regular basis. At no time was anything empty. There is a free shuttle to Renaissance hotel in Onna which runs frequently throughout the day. From the resort you are under 15 mins walk away from San-A shopping centre and a 7-11 konbini. I rented the electric bike that the resort offers to guest for free and managed to explore the Okinawa caves (approx 10mins ride). Yes, you can get around by public bus but you need to plan it and plan it well. I often co-ordinated and combined hotel shuttle transfers with public buses and airport/resort liner coaches , which also shortened the journey time on trips to for example Churaumi aquarium and Shurijo castle. However, I would definitely hire a car next time. I wanted to see more of the island and felt limited relying on the buses/coaches etc. Staff at the resort really went out of their way to help and ensure that I had a wonderful time.

The resort has extremely friendly and efficient staff, whilst the gardens are beautiful gardens. Breakfast and the Dim Sum dinners were exceptional.

Lack of choice for lunch and no room service.

The food was amazing. The room was good, but a sofa to sit on would be excellent especially staying for a long stay. The grounds and swimming pool were beautiful. The bathrooms could be more up to date

4年連続でココガーデンリゾートに宿泊しています。 今回初めてキッチン付きコテージに宿泊しました。 コテージの良い点はレンタカーをコテージ前に駐車できるので、荷物の出し入れや天気が悪い日の出入りに便利でした。マカマカン(レストラン)の中華メニューも、昨年までよりも美味しくなった気がします。 残念だった点はバスルームがホテル棟と異なりユニット式で体を洗う場所がバスタブの中になります。便器の脇で体を洗うのが、安いビジネスホテルみたいで、気持ちが……。 さらに残念だったのがホテル棟と比べてリゾート感が乏しい上に、リラックスできるソファーやオットマンもなく(ホテル棟にはあり)、滞在中座る場所が肘掛けもない椅子2脚で、結局ベッドの上にずっといました。 連泊するとルネッサンスリゾートとの連携サービスも楽しめるなど、価格の割に快適な滞在のできるホテルですが、次回宿泊するならホテル棟を選びます。 コテージのバスルームとソファ、リゾート感のない内装以外はサービス面も含めて、良いホテルです。

値段の割に、全てにおいて、良かったです

静かに過ごすことができる、こぢんまりとした良い雰囲気のホテルです。

Coco Garden in Ishikawa exceeded my expectations! The staffs were extremely friendly, very kind. I am a vegetarian so I was bit worried but the manager even accommodated special meals for me for both breakfast and dinner. The rooms were extremely spacious, filled with extremely comfortable beds, and a separate, large bath tub, dressing area and a toilet. The resort is located in a suburb of Iha, but the property itself is extremely peaceful and offers good view of Ishikawa from it. It gives you good access to Ishikawa, and many convenience stores close by, with the San-A shopping center a mere 10 minute walk through the nice streets of Okinawa. If you are in for a long stay, you will have club coco access and then you can even access the property of Renaissance resort, with free shuttles to it. You get private onsen, lounge and beach access. From the pricepoint, its definitely value for the money. Will definitely stay again if I visit Okinawa in the future.

Its nestled up in Iha, so it might be hard to find on the first day.

VIP Accessの特典が何かわからなかった プールサイドの動物臭が気になった レストランのアラカルトメニューが少ない、食べ放題に力を入れすぎだと思われる

ビーチに面してないが、緑が豊富で、低層宿泊棟とコテージが一緒に配置され、雰囲気がよい 低層棟に泊まったが部屋も広く室内デザインもよく、又泊まりたいと思った。 夜着いたが、駐車場からフロントの位置が分かりにくかった事を除けば、快適そのものだった。

One of the coziest, most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed at. The «garden feeling» is great - and the food is excellent. The Coco benefits for long stays are really nice as well, and worthwile staying a bit longer for. The staff is amazing!

While the associated Renaissance Hotel is great, and it is very nice that one can use so many of the commodities and join in activities, I sometimes felt a bit sorry for the animals there that seem to live in rather (too?) small enclosures. Not a direct problem of the coco garden resort though - here the feeling is much nicer with all the amazing butterflies around.

The buildings are a little worn out on the outside, however inside they are very nice. Also the tennis court could use a makeover.

The setting of this resort is magnificent with sweeping views of Uruma City.

The food choice is limited to zchinese which is a bit disappointing for a visitor to Japan but understandable with their principally zzjapanese clientel

We didn’t like this property, we absolutely LOVED it! We spent 5 amazing nights full of incredible and exciting treats and surprises, such as free e-bikes or manicure rental, karaoke room, snorkelling, kayaking, free lunch, a soap as a present, free laundry… All these beautiful touches just kept coming! One day it was an invitation to try midnight okinawan sweets, try making dim sum or have a drink… We especially LOVED the ryukyu yoga teacher and the possibility to try delicious okinawan dishes. If Coco Garden is on your shortlist, book it immediately! You will have an unforgettable stay full of beautiful memories.

The hotel rooms are a bit older but they manage to keep them spotlessly clean and comfortable nevertheless.
