Hand held shower heads would of been perfect, and being able to sit down while having a smoke would of made our stay perfect. Also restaurant menus in rooms are out of date.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026The beach side location and the two bedroom apartment with kitchen facilities was excellent! The best motel we have stayed to date!!
I think the curtains could be a little more darker and cleaned thoroughly as we noticed dust, same with bed sheets. Also this room is ideal for a cold season, during summer the lounge can get really hot, it does not have a heat pump but a cooling fan in each room which I am not sure would be sufficient for the summer, other than that all good.

Wall heater not working, unable to let staff know as it was after hours and office doesnt open till 9am so left key in drop box. Wall heater & plug in fan, instead of heatpump. Noisy if room is next to stairs.

The shower was over a large spa bath and could do with 'grab' rails to make it safer for getting in and out.

This is a wonderful property if you want to spend time at the beach. If you want to spend time in town, then this isn’t a great location. It’s not far from the center of town. It’s not difficult to get to the center of town, but you’re probably not going to walk to the center of town.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026A great stay at the Harbour Motel. An excellent location, smooth check in and in the room in no time. Impressed with the level of cleanliness as super tidy. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, pillows and towels. The bathroom had a soap dispenser, shampoo and conditioner. Excellent views over the sea and soundproofed rooms equalled a comfortable nights sleep. No restaurant onsite but plenty of dining options locally. Well recommended!
Only that the shower head could have been adjustable and higher - just a minor issue but managed to have get around it.

And that the cleaners didn't interrupt us but that was our fault as we did not realize we had the sign saying for them not to do room didn't get clean but that's ok as was our fault for not realising we had to sign on the wrong one 😂
