Cleanliness, location and facilities.

This is our go to motel in Nelson. My son, his wife and our granddaughter live about 1 km away. The motel is easily accessible, great size for our family, husband and 2 granddaughters, and easy to drive in and out.

There were no mix & mix lollies in the vending machine last time we stayed!!!!!

Very helpful staff. No issues when my flight changed and I was going to get in late - they even turned on the heat pump!

Very clean and tidy ,well equipped with all our needs ,lovely staff ,and super comfortable bed and nice linen . Would certainly recommend.👍

Everything was great

Spacious

Room Was right by the road

Lovely and clean rooms and very comfortable. It was warm and the shower pressure was great. Nice and close to shops and restaurants and they had everything we needed for our stay. Definitely will be back.

Can’t think of anything.

Friendly check in. Traveled with my grandson. when they cleaned the room they made his bed and tucked his teddy into it. That little gesture made his night.

* This was my 4th stay in Nelson and 3rd at Amber court Motel. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Nelson. * Liana and her family are incredibly warm, welcoming and genuinely care about their guests. They shine in hospitality! * Spotlessly clean rooms with very comfortable beds. * Excellent location close to Nelson Airport, Nelson Junction, Tāhunanui Beach, shops and restaurants. * Well-equipped kitchenette with a Nespresso Vertuo machine, hotplate and even an air fryer. * Complimentary guest laundry. * Affordable vending machine with both treats and healthy snack options. * Excellent accessible room and shower with a shower chair, which I really appreciated as a disabled guest. *Luxury Bodywash, Shampoo and conditioner available * Complimentary late checkout offered on this and my previous stay, plus they kindly stored my luggage after checkout so I could enjoy Nelson before my evening flight. * Staff checked if I needed fresh towels, tea or coffee during my stay. * Consistently exceptional customer service and attention to detail every time I visit. * It is so easy to relax and enjoy the Motel, I did not want for anything and enjoyed every moment with my family visiting.

I have nothing to add into this category except having to leave, I would love to stay for longer as it was so lovely! I will be back and cannot wait! Thank you Liana and family!

Loved everything, nice relaxing room 😌 👌

The beds were the absolute winner for us. So comfy and had a good nights rest. Very clean throughout. Free wifi and Heatpump kept the room nice and warm. Perfect location for us. Owner allowed us to check in earlier than the check in time which we were very grateful for and appreciated as everyone just wanted to relax and unwind asap.

The only very minor thing to note is that the two small chairs in the room are a bit hard and sit a little too low to comfortably eat dinner at the bench. Aside from that tiny detail, everything was absolutely perfect. We would definitely stay here again!"

It’s nice and clean and the staff are really friendly

excellent facilities

Facilities were clean and tidy.Great central location close to beach nelson city and Richmond. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Owners we're very welcoming and friendly, Good location and price,Clean ,Tidy and comfortable room

This comfortable property had everything we needed for our one night stay. Within a short walk, you could be down at the waterfront. On your way down Parker to the beach walk was a great little fish and chip (Fishy Business) take out. The property also has a washer and dryer, but if you have more than one load, there’s a coin up a few blocks down on Parker as well.

No complaints

Very nice host, close to airport

Bathroom is dated but functional

It was clean

It was hard to open the toilet door and toilet looks pretty old

The studio unit was very clean and comfortable and well located for both the nearby Tahunanui Beach and the city itself.

I didn’t realise when I booked it that the unit has no stove or cooktop although it does have a microwave so you can at least reheat food. There is also no table and chairs for eating meals comfortably.

Location

The staff were friendly and welcoming and very approachable.

Nothing at all

Bis auf den Strassenlärm alles tip top.

Excellent room for short or long stay. Spacious including bathroom. Hosts were very inviting and accomodating.

nothing

I’ve stayed here before and chose Amber Court again because of the consistently excellent experience. The owners are friendly, welcoming, and go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The units are updated with thoughtful touches like boutique toiletries, generous towels, and a Nespresso Vertuo machine with capsules for great coffee. The location is very convenient — close to the airport, shops, supermarket, and beach. They were also very accommodating, providing a shower chair on request, offering an accessible unit, allowing a late checkout at no extra cost, and storing my luggage before my flight. A warm, down-to-earth place with little luxuries that make your stay special. I would happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nelson.

The only minor issue was the internet, which was a bit unreliable during our stay, especially in our room (Room 16, further from reception). The owners had recently changed providers and were doing their best to sort it, which I really appreciated. Last stay it was not an issue, the only issue was leaving! I cannot wait to come back!!!

Clean, comfortable & handy location. Has everything you need.

Motel bien équipé, avec tout le confort, un accueil chaleureux et situé à proximité de toutes les commodités.

Rien.

Really great staff

Location was very handy to whanau and to airport and eateries. Staff were really accomodating and friendly.

Close to a very busy main road.

Clean, great location, everything we needed in the room and good space

Not much green/outside space for kids. Bathroom was a bit dated.

Welcoming hosts . 2nd night refresh of rooms.

Heater has a seperate switch for temp control. No mention on the heater top.

It was very clean and tidy. The staff were helpful and friendly. Close to the airport and not too far to town to get an Uber.

Liana was very welcoming and provided me with options on where to buy dinner, the location of the airport and some local activities. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. Parking was available for my rental.

I liked the area close to town, and all the kid activities like the zoo and activity park

Nothing was great

Sehr nettes Personal. Parkplatz vor dem Zimmereingang

The bed was great and very quiet even tho it looked full this morning

Would have been great for a couple of dining chairs for the bench as having laptop on knee or the low bedside wasn't ideal

The location for us was great, easy to travel to other areas around Nelson. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

comfortable beds

as there was a group of us, we needed more tea and coffee and especially milk

Huge unit, very well appointed. Spotlessly clean. Quiet, excellent location.

Excellent value for money! Close to the airport, Very clean, Comfrortable bed

Not many reastaurants and shops around - but this is fine for work trip

The person who we spoke to in the office was lovely and very helpful. The bed configuration was great for us with 3 single beds and a double. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

Very clean and staff very helpful and friendly.

Spacious. Clean. Comfy bed. Great location for us. Nelson is so beautiful.

All good.

Spa, towel heater, iron didn't work

Well located to the airport, comfy bed.

It was located well in Nelson. We had a vehicle so we were able to drive to most places very easily. Our room was comfortable enough too. The staff were welcoming and helpful which I appreciated.

Minimal facilities for the amount we paid. No kitchenette sink, so dishes were washed in a plastic tub in the bathroom. Very minimal greenery around the motel property, mostly concrete spaces, so sitting outside was not pleasant at all. There's potential to this place.

Beds were super comfy, clean crisp sheets & duvet & comfy pillows. Couldn’t fault the comfort, light and airy, and easy access.

We didn’t have net curtains in the lounge so privacy was a bit of an issue but not a biggy.

Staff very helpful clean and tidy
