Tuscany Gardens Motor Lodge

We commend John on being an excellent host, who was most accommodating to our requests. We enjoyed John’s friendly conversations. We found our accommodation very clean and well set out with a good fully equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable ( I have my lumbar spine fused). Loved the spa bath and size of the bathroom. The patio and surrounding outdoor private area was a lovely bonus. Our oasis is Nelson. Excellent property.

Was a late flight ✈️ staff waited for me to check in and was room so welcoming room was clean ,peaceful 👌. I would love to stay every time on my visit to Nelson and would recommend my mates too.

Was close to everything. And despite it being on a main road, it was still quiet. The bed was super comfy. Was absolutely perfect for our stay.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the owner. He showed me the laundry which was coin operated with free liquid and a choice of 2 different scents. I was then taken up to the room where the owner showed me around before handing the key over. The room was well laid out, free wifi, and the best pressure you could ask for in a shower. We also had a early check in of midday upon request. Highly recommend A+++++

Impressively clean and we were in a quiet room. The owner was so accommodating and friendly but was also respectful of our space.

What's not to like. What a beautiful place to stay. From the first interaction with the host to settling into the stay, everything was lovely. The decor was welcoming, and well considered. Some of fhe little things that just made it feel that little extra were the fridge/freezer (big enough for those extended stays), the curtain rods and curtain holdbacks (gorgeous), the furnishings (tastefully understated), and the outdoor seating area. However, what made the stay exceptional was the hosts. Delightful to deal with and accommodating. Highly recommended. Shame we were only there for one night. Would definitely stay again.

Ideal location for us, and staff were very good.

Room at the back was quieter than at the front (stayed in both), as a light sleeper.

The room is lovely (still here on our 2nd night). So clean and homely. You have everything you need. It was very clean and tidy. Lovely bathroom. Also we liked the little seating area outside.

The only thing is the internet connection was not great. Once you were connected (my phone just would not have it at all) it was ok. You did have to persist to log on though. But everything else is 100%.

The property was easily located, and the room was spacious, neat and clean. The owner was most welcoming and informative.

It is close to the main road so a little noise during peak hour if you have a door or window open however fine if they are closed.

The relaxed atmosphere, comfort and style of the unit was awesome. The bathroom was nice and big with a spa bath. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Excellent customer service.. Highly recommended.

It's on a busy main road and we found it rather noisy when the windows & doors were open..and didn't end up sitting outside on the deck because of noise.

The location is perfect, a very short trip from the airport. The motel unit was so clean and tidy and the shower was incredible. The staff member who greeted me was so friendly. I will definitely be booking here again.

Great place to stay. The bed was so comfortable, good sized room with a great view from the balcony. Only a short walk away from cafes and bars, and very handy to the beautiful Tahunanui beach area.

Location was good, courtyard was good, beds were comfy

$8 charge for washing machine and $8 charge for dryer. The washing machine left one lot of clothes streaked with washing power and lint, the dryer (after clothes were washed) made the clothes smell awful. This was brought up with the owner who said the machines had been serviced and the dry per was new. The owner did not come back to us with any solution after this was bought to his attention. Due to the weather the unwashed clothes hung in our unit on a clothes airer smelling terrible. Our room was serviced twice in this time and on one of those occasions we came back to windows that had been opened which was a security issue. We did receive some of our money back for the washing once I followed up on the day of checkout, however as we paid nearly $500 a night for short notice accommodation we were unimpressed with the state of these machines and lack of customer service when we complained. Additionally we were provided with one roll of toilet paper for 4 people and the television didn’t not work when we tried to turn it on the last night. The accommodation also advertised late check out which we requested but were told was not a possibility.

Good Location, Friendly Reception & very clean & comfortable beds. All round an enjoyable stay.

Everything was great. We used the studio for a base as we were out adventuring most of the time but was great to come back to and relax after a long day.

The TV in the lounge didn’t work and a dish cloth wasn’t provided one day. Nothing major, still stoked with my stay.

Checking in wasn't great, no one in reception, so rang the ph number on the sign, no reply. rang the 0800 number on the booking receipt that was answered and owner came. The bed needed upgrading as there was roll together.

It had everything we needed and was in a handy location.

Nobody in the office at 2pm but easily solved. Jug was faulty.

Thr host made it a 10/10
