Punnpreeda Beach Resort - SHA Plus Certified

Brilliant 3 star hotel, the grounds, pool and staff were wonderful and the whole place had a warm and relaxing feel. Gorgeous views of the coastline and Koh Phangan from the pool bar area. Room was spacious and comfy and it was great value for money. Maybe a little dated, but for what you're paying it was more than acceptable. The area the hotel is situated in is a little quiet in low season, but still had a number of bars and restaurants open. Other areas with a bit more going on are only ten minutes away by taxi - we really loved the White Market which is open each night and had a mix of locals and tourists visiting. If you don't want to use a taxi and don't have a bike rented then P and T hostel's restaurant a few mins walk away was also great for cheap but delicious food and cocktails and friendly staff. Hotel is about a one minute walk from the pier where you get the ferry to Koh Phangan which is really convenient. At the hotel we really appreciated the help of Paulo when our AC unit started leaking in the middle of the night. He immediately let us have access to a second room to sleep in without having to move all our things, and the next morning the hotel communicated with us via message to find out the most convenient time for us for them to fix the unit, which they did really quickly. If we ever come back to this area of Koh Samui we wouldn't hesitate to book the Punnpreeda again.

The shower's water pressure was a little low, but it was still perfectly usable.

Perfekt für eine Zwischenübernachtung vor/nach der Fähre Koh Phangan. Direkt am Bangrak Pier gelegen und keine 10 Min. vom Flughafen entfernt. Alles was man braucht um das Hotel herum. Im Hotel selbst gibt es eine schöne (sunset-) Bar. Personal sehr freundlich und Zimmer / Anlage sauber.

Nos encantó este lugar! La pieza espectacular, con linda vista, amplia y súper limpia. Usamos mucho la piscina, el gimnasio y la playa que tiene directamente el complejo. Los chicos que atendían el bar también siempre muy amables y simpáticos, incluso los vi jugando juegos de mesa con una niña por mientras que el padre estaba descansando. Destaco a Paulo, quien estaba en recepción, ya que siempre estuvo muy pendiente, disponible y además nos ayudó el último día, ya que dejamos nuestra tablet en la habitación y nos ayudó a enviárnosla rápidamente al aeropuerto a pesar de los tiempos acotados que teníamos, le pongo un 10 a el! A modo personal, rescato que tenía el McDonald al lado :)

Estaban haciendo arreglos en las calles que están por fuera y aveces había muy mal olor al salir del hotel. Dentro nunca lo sentí, pero este punto no me gustó.

I loved this resort. From the moment you arrive, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. They ALWAYS greet you, no matter what position they work in, everyone always says hi and I think that's a nice touch. The pool area is stunning - we loved spending time at the pool as there was so many options to either be in the sun or shade, and the little bar with food options is a nice bonus. The sea views as well were so lovely. The room itself was spacious and as was our bathroom.

Arrivavando da Koh Phanghan e ripartendo il giorno dopo dall’Aeroporto di Samui, la posizione è ottima.

Abbiamo prenotato una stanza per una notte. La stanza è al terzo piano lato strada, non c’è ascensore e la valigia la devi portare su a mano. La camera non era pulita, c’erano capelli ovunque. Non ho dormito a causa del rumore del traffico che si è sentito tutta la notte e del rumore assordante del condizionatore. Inoltre, il condizionatore è posizionato sopra al letto, creando un flusso di aria gelata addosso mentre si dorme. Purtroppo abbiamo avuto una pessima esperienza, le foto e le recensioni sono fuorvianti.

Hôtel de transit bien placé pour le Pier.

Présence de Moisissure dans la douche. Check in compliqué. Il est à noter que l’hôtel n’est pas à l’emplacement communiqué par Booking mais collé au restaurant Mc Donald.

Bous ne sommes restés qu’une nuit car nous étions en transit pour aller sur l’ile de Koh Tao. Nous avons été très bien reçus alors que nous sommes arrivés tard. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine mais l’emplacement est super au bord de la plage avec un petit bar de plage près de la piscine. Les bungalows sont dans un joli jardin. Notre bungalow était propre, les lits étaient confortables. Pour une nuit, c’était parfait !

The staff was great! The villa had a nice view of the pool and ocean! The workout room was very small but the equipment was great! The pool overlooking the ocean and small bar worked well together. It never felt crowded...

The breakfast menu was limited for long stays as they send you to a restaurant with the same selection Daily. The last two days they did allow us to go to another restaurant. They should alter days to keep the menu fresh.

Struttura piccola, curata nei dettagli. Camera stupenda, spaziosa e ariosa con il terrazzino. La piscina bellissima, un contesto intimo molto tranquillo. Colazione molto abbondante e completa in un bar di fianco, si ordina il proprio piatto, servizio curatissimo. Comodissima anche la vicinanza col molo da cui partono i traghetti per Koh Phangan e altre isole. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile.

Che ci siamo stati solo una notte! :(

Leider war es mit dem Frühstück nicht gut. Man sollte al carte haben und bekommt eine Karte vom Nachbar Restaurant und es darf man sich was aussuchen und das wenn man langer da ist eintönig wird.

The hotel is well positioned in Bangrak, close to all services. The staff are efficient and will resolve any problems quickly and efficiently. I would honestly have no issues staying here again.

I had an issue on the first night with the room. This was quickly resolved by the very efficient staff. There is nothing to dislike about my stay. All down to the good staff. The pool is fantastic with great views across to Koh Phangan. The pool bar was great again with great staff.

front desk service and everyone we went past within the resort were very friendly and lovely. common areas kept really clean. lots of greenery and water fountains which is nice. able to walk from the Bangrak pier and easy Grab to the airport. good pool.

really disliked the area - not the hotels fault of course! and walking past a window where you view the ppl eating in Macca's is very strange... again, not the hotels fault. the bed was really noisy every time you moved, there were a lot of mosquitoes/flying bugs inside that could get through the various gaps in windows and doors. it didn't feel like value for money.

שהיתי במלון לשינת לילה לפני מעבורת. המלון קרוב בהליכה לכל מעבורת שיוצאת לקופנגן. צוות , מיקום וחדר בהחלט נוחים ומספקים לשהיית לילה. ארוחת בוקר תאילנדית היתה במסעדה ליד המלון. המלון אסף אותי משדה התעופה ללא עלות ובתאום מראש. תודה לכם

ארוחת הבוקר לא כל כך מתאימה למי שמצפה למשהו אירופאי אבל זה מובן.

There was a bit of confusion at the start with upgrades. We booked a balcony room but were told we were upgraded to a ground floor room, which was very dark. When we queried this, staff went out of their way to upgrade us again to a lovely suite- thank you! Suite was spacious and light with a cute balcony. Pool was lovely and it was nice to sit on the bean bags with a view of the sea with a drink. Breakfast is offside and a café 1 min walk away. Was very nice!

Nothing we didn't like but it is worth noting a McDonalds is next door / seating area is built into the central back courtyard. It is done tastefully but you do walk past diners on the way to room/ pool. A bit random but not a big issue!

We enjoyed our 1 night stay. The pool was great, breakfast good also. Being located on the beach with restaurant options & close to airport & ferries was a bonus! Our room was comfortable & a good size. Reception was extremely helpful & attentive!

It would be easier if the pool bar took card payment & our room said it had a balcony but just had chairs facing a brick wall!

Punnpreeda Beach Resort is just a great place to stay. Great staff, excellent service and facilities and really good value for money. This is the second time I hahe stayed here and I will be returning.

Close by to the ferry

The room faced the road and was a little noisy.

Le charme de l'architecture extérieure (invisible depuis le hall d'entrée qui est tristoune contrairement à ce qui est derrière). La piscine et l'accès à la plage direct. Le personnel qui est vraiment aux petits soins.

Le lit était un peu dur, la chambre sombre et surtout donnait sur l'avenue donc assez bruyant, étant donné qu'il y a un Mac Donald's ouvert 24h/24 au pied voire dans l'hôtel. Mais les chambres de derrière doivent être au top

Really great for a short stay, just have been there for transfer.

Sadly the rooms I have been staying in were really loud in the night. There is a window in the rooms I stayed in which face the road and are not isolated at all.

Personale incredibilmente gentile e disponibile, molto accogliente!! Piscina bella e anche la spiaggia davanti carina. Posizione comodissima per il molo a due passi per andare a Koh Tao, per stare nell'isola di Koh Samui invece la posizione non è bella.

The staff were really nice and they were always offering a drive to our cabin. Also it is connected to the beach, which makes it a perfect place for people who want to enjoy the paradise beaches without renting a bike. We booked through them a snorkel tour which turned out as a highlight of our trip. The room one of the cleanest we find in our trip, and the surroundings were great. Also note that they offer free shuttles to the pier every couple of hours, so you can save some money (for us, in May, was 400 baths with taxi). I couldn’t recommend it more.

Only stayed overnight en route to the airport, but comfy bed, good shower, powerful AC. However the staff were the real heroes - the guy on reception (whose name I didn’t get sadly) went above and beyond to help us with a difficult situation with our airline. So incredibly kind! We weren’t planning on returning to Koh Samui but after our experience here, we reckon we might! Beautiful sunset views too!

There was an open window in the bathroom that was not closeable. We were only there for the night but would have asked to have this fixed if we’d stayed longer. Not only was it rubbish for AC/energy wastage, lizards and bugs got in through it which was not ideal!

This was my second visit here and it was great to be welcomed so warmly by the staff. I had upgraded my room thus time so I was away from the road and slept so well. The breakfast was located at a little cafe a few doors down and the food is fantastic 👌. The swimming pool is lovely to cool off in and you are a few steps from the beach if you prefer that. It's located close to the airport but there are limited flights so you wouldn't be disturbed by them. I would definitely return to this hotel.

La habitación era muy vieja, feas condiciones, el agua de la ducha casi no salía! La cama incomoda, la habitación daba miedo, no tenia nada que ver a las fotos a las habitaciones cerca de la pileta!

A very short distance from the airport and ferry piers. Staff were lovely and very helpful with my mega heavy suitcase. My room was a great size and very clean too. If you like McDonald's it is right next door to a 24 hour restaurant.

My room was at the front of the building so it was a little noisy however I did manage to sleep well.
