Hôtel intimiste, à l’opposé des autres établissements de l’île. Propres, les chambres sont grandes et l’accès à la plage direct. Environnement magnifique. Pas de restauration sur place ni de piscine ce qui accentue la sérénité du lieu. Pour le petit déjeuner, il se prend dans un hôtel à 5 minutes de balade sur la plage.

The place is amazing, the location is perfect because not far from the center , but sufficiently away to be very quiet without the noise and the lights of the center. It’s few meters from the beach with the possibility of swimming at any time. Also the apartment was simply amazing. Staff was very nice and attentive and helped us in our requests.

Wat een paradijsje! Wij hadden met ons gezin het huisje aan het strand en het penthouse geboekt, het waren allebei prachtige, comfortabele en ruime ruimtes. Casa Takywara ligt perfect, heerlijk rustig met eigen privé bedjes en strandje en op loopafstand van de restaurantjes en het centrum. Het kleinschalige complex is mooi verzorgd en heel sfeervol. Super lief personeel, stonden altijd voor ons klaar en elke dag werd de tuin en het strand aangeharkt en de kamers tiptop schoongemaakt. Als wij ooit weer naar Holbox gaan, kiezen we zeker opnieuw voor het paradijselijke Takywara.

Très certainement un des meilleurs endroits où séjourner à Holbox ! La vue est magnifique, avec un emplacement presque les pieds dans l’eau, calme mais proche du centre. Un décor de carte postale et un ballet d'oiseaux marins dont on profite depuis la petite terrasse, avant de faire quelques pas pour se mettre à l’eau. La présence d’une kitchenette est très appréciable, et la douche est agréable.

Trois axes d’amélioration : - le lit est assez petit pour un hôtel de ce standing. - la moustiquaire est jolie mais peu pratique, car elle réduit la surface d’un lit déjà petit - mettre plus d'ustensiles de cuisine à disposition

El alojamiento precioso y en la mejor zona de playa. Cercano al centro pero lejos de la zona de más ruido. Todo comodisimo y habitaciones muy bien equipadas. Un retiro ideal. Experiencia increíbles.

Nos desilusionó un poco el desayuno, ya no se sirve en el hotel sino en un bar cercano. En cualquier caso para el alojamiento tan fantástico esperábamos un desayuno un poco mejor.

El lugar es realmente excepcional, la cabaña en frente del mar, amplia, limpia decorada con gusto y con todas las comodidades, agua caliente, aire acondicionado, servicio impecable, café disponible y la gentileza del personal es digno de un 5 estrellas. Quedamos enamorados de este lugar

Wonderfull accommodation, set on the seafront in a quite area. Well kept place, clean, and with everything to make our stay easy and comfy. We cooked our breakfast and lunches in the good equipped kitchen, after watching beautiful serene sunsets we strolled along the beach short distance to town to explore and have our dinner in one of the many restaurants. 5 days of bliss.

Was very impressed by this boutique hotel. It is very well located on a quiet part of the beach, about a 5 minute walk to the edge of the town centre. Some good restaurants and bars are a stone's throw away. Having the private loungers on the beach was great and the sargassum was minimal. Having amenities such as aircon, coffee and drinking water in the room was great and the room we had on the second floor was very private and well designed. For the price, this place was great - there are some high end hotels on the island but, really, there is not much more you could want than a nice, large room on an absolute beachfront which Casa takywara provides.

More wardrobe space and an iron would be ideal

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument au top à la Casa Takywara. L'hôtel est très bien placé, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement de l'île en toute simplicité. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et aux petits soins. Un grand plus pour la propreté : le ménage est fait tous les jours ce qui est très appréciable. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter pour des vacances réussies à Holbox !

I stayed in the penthouse suite. It exceeded expectations! The room was huge. The patio was also huge with an ocean front view. The location was on a beautiful peaceful white sand beach. It was a short 10-15 minute walk into town

The breakfast is provided by another structure. unfortunately it was not enjoyable because an incredible amount of wasps attacking the syrup and honey that is provided at the bar. We decided to go to a coffee shop and pay for the breakfast once more instead.

The beach! This is located on the best section of the beach in Holbox in my opinion. This also seemed to the the only property along the beach that took the care to take the sand every morning and rake up the seagrass… which made this beach the best. The room was well equipped, I loved the coffee mugs and coffee maker provided. The bed was extremely comfortable with comfortable linens. I loved the soaps provided - felt like aromatherapy, very luxurious. I loved the beach lounge chairs provided. This was by far the best of the places I stayed in Holbox and I would 100% recommend to anyone.

Beautifull place to stay if you visit Holbox. Withing walking distance of the village and the breakfast which is not on site, is also just a 4 min walk from the hotel. So that was no problem at all. The sunbeds on the beach are only for guests, so every day we had sunbeds on the beach. From there you have an amazing view to see the sunset.

Wir waren für 5 Nächte im Casa Takywara und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war im ersten Stock des schmucken Gebäudes und hatte einen eigene kleine private Terasse, die zwar keinen Blick aufs Meer bietet, aber dafür schön ruhig war. Außerdem gab es eine kleine Küchenzeile , die ausreichend ausgestattet war um sich kleinere Speisen und Kaffee zu kochen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Personal äußerst freundlich. Die Lage war für uns optimal, nicht direkt im Trubel der Ortschaft, aber noch nah genug, dass man bequem zu Fuß innerhalb von wenigen Minuten im Zentrum war. Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr gepflegt und hat auch einen kleinen Strandabschnitt mit Liegen, die man benutzen kann. Eine kühlbox mit Eis für Getränke wird kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Für das Frühstück muss man in einen benachbarten Beachclub laufen, was sich aber nicht wirklich lohnt zu buchen, da die Auswahl beschränkt ist und es so viele andere tolle Alternativen auf der Insel gibt (oder man macht sich ein gemütliches Frühstück auf der Terasse). Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen und wir würden es wieder buchen, falls es uns nochmal auf diese schöne Insel verschlägt.

Ein paar mehr Möglichkeiten um Klamotten zu verstauen/aufzuhängen sowie Nachtischlampen am Bett wären super.

We really enjoyed the property and the secluded beach nature it had! We really loved that it wasn’t in the center of town so it was more quiet and right on the beach front.

The hotel is very environmentally friendly, therefore, you won’t get towel changes each day which is not necessarily a negative but worth to note as it takes longer for towels to dry etc.

Wir hatten den Bungalow direkt am Strand, das war atemberaubend. Ein großes Zimmer und und um Blick auf Meer und Strand

Das Bett ist für zwei Erwachsene Menschen sehr klein. Wir vermuten 1,30 oder 1,40 m. Das war nicht so ideal. Anfang hatten wir kein warmes Wasser und der Türgriff aus der Tür, aber alles wurde schnell behoben.

Quieter location short walk to "town"

States the room was beachfront with a seaview. It was not.

This was definitely the best location for a stay on holbox if you like quiet and tranquility. The beach was clean and no loud music. The facilities were comfortable and well thought about. Spotlessly clean and stunning.

Les moustiques et les algues plus abondantes sur les plages à proximité (en novembre), mais ce n'est évidemment pas la faute de l'hôtel et ils fournissent le chasse moustique...

Très bel hôtel directement sur la plage qui a beaucoup de charme. Les chambres sont très confortables, propres, le personnel sympathique et efficace. Nous avions le penthouse qui est très grand avec une belle vue sur la mer. Eau potable directement au robinet !

Si il fallait trouver quelque chose : il pourrait y avoir plus de pression dans la douche

Very spacious and bright apartments with a great ocean view, located in a quiet area about a 15-minute walk from the island’s center and main beach. Well-equipped kitchen with a small fridge. Comfortable bed. The property is very well maintained, with private sun loungers on the beach. The host is very friendly and helpful. Good fresh breakfasts are served at a beach café about 300 meters away along the shore. The island has a reliable taxi service, and the ferry–hotel ride costs only 150 pesos. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, which is great for avoiding mosquitoes — there are lots of them on the island.

During our stay there was no hot water and the shower pressure was low. That’s quite normal for the island, so it’s something to be aware of. This isn’t about the hotel, but if you plan to cook, make sure to buy all your groceries before coming, as the island only has a few small stores with very limited choices.

On a eu un refus de changement de serviette de plage et le resto pour prendre le petit déjeuner est a 300 mètres un peu loin !!! Je trouve que le prix ne vaut pas la prestation sachant que 100 m plus loin hôtel avec piscine bar ....

Right on the beautiful beach on a quiet part of the island, but walking distance (8 mins) to the center. Very spacious room with 2 comfy beds. Great shower. Fan and airco.

Has nothing to do with the hotel, but: so many mosquito’s on the island. Repellent provided by the hotel though ;-).

Leider hatten wir Ameisen in der Küche, welche trotz größter Bemühungen unsererseits (Einhalten Sauberkeit in der Küche und wegschließen von Lebensmitteln) immer wieder kamen. Es gibt viele Mücken aufgrund von Gewässer direkt vor der Unterkunft. Es wurde seitens des Roomservice aktiv nach Trinkgeld gefragt (mittels Umschlag). Die Laken hatten leider Flecken, welche vermutlich beim Waschen nicht rausgegangen sind.

Prachtige en rustige plek direct aan het strand, op loopafstand van het dorpje. Koffie, thee en drinkwater is aanwezig in de kamer. We ontvingen ook allerlei tips. Strandbedden voor de gasten.

Het ontvangst was aanvankelijk wat kortaf en zakelijk, maar de gastvrouw maakte dit helemaal goed.

Bungalow sulla spiaggia straordinario, ampio e bellissimo con i piedi direttamente nella sabbia della spiaggia privata. Posizione poco fuori dal centro, molto tranquilla ma con intorno bar e posti in cui mangiare. Arredo molto curato, cucina a disposizione insieme agli asciugamani per la spiaggia. Una delizia che per tre notti ci ha permesso davvero di staccare da tutto

Camera non economica per cui mi aspettavo più comodità 1. La colazione al bar a 500 mt a piedi: basterebbe poco per comporre un cestino da mettere in balcone (lo fanno in tanti posti del Messico). 2. Letto a una piazza e mezzo quando c’è tutto lo spazio del mondo per mettere ALMENO un matrimoniale 3. Macchie un pò ovunque su tendaggi e lenzuola bianche 4. Il bagno è stupendo ma tenerlo senza porta non proprio di buon gusto, vista anche la vicinanza con il letto, zero privacy. 5. Il ragazzo che ci ha fatto check in ha passato ben due sere al tramonto a limonare con una ragazza sdraiato sui lettini per gli ospiti, davanti a noi. Davvero molto poco professionale

Tout petit hôtel très calme dans un coin de paradis. On déconnecte totalement ! Literie impeccable, espace extérieur relaxant. La chambre est même équipée d'un frigo, d'une kitchenette et de tout le nécessaire pour de faire à manger (poêles, assiettes, etc.)

La chambre agua est un peu humide (elle porte bien son nom!). Il faut mettre l'air conditionné sur dry si on veut chasser l'humidité sinon les serviettes restent humides. Une fois ceci compris, tout est parfait

Das Hotel ist vom Zentrum 15 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Somit ist auch der Strandabteil ruhiger. Das Personal im Hotel hat jeden Wunsch erfüllt und war sehr freundlich.

Wunderschönes Zimmer, das Apartment Sol ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, groß und super geeignet für Familien (mit aufblasbarem Extrabett passen gut 4 Personen hinein). Strand direkt vor der Tür und sehr gepflegte Anlage, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Super Lage,, direkt am Meer. Der Strandabschnitt wurde perfekt gepflegt. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal.

Das Frühstück war nicht sehr umfangreich (z.B. keine Früchte und Eier gleichzeitig). Der Prei war an meiner oberen Grenze für eine Einzelbelegung

Die Lage direkt am Strand war fantastisch. Wunderbarer Aussenbereich, sehr gepflegt und mit bequemen Liegen im Schatten. Schön eingerichtetes Bungalow mit Strohdach. Mit dem Fahrrad erreicht man in kurzer Zeit die Lagune mit den Flamingos- einfach fantastisch!

L'emplacement du bungalow au bord de la plage et exceptionnel. La plage est magnifique et il n'y avait quasiment personne. L'hôtel est très bien entretenu et le personnel attentif. Compter 15 min à pied du centre. Ne pas oublier sa lampe de poche ou son téléphone car des passages sont dans la nuit noir. Quelques restaurants sont un peu plus proche (La Cabane est très bien). La chambre est immense. La salle de bain est grande et très agréable (eau chaude et débit d'eau) Cuisine bien pratique et bien équipée. Les serviettes de plage sont fournies. Nous avons choisi le bungalow. Évitez la chambre dans l'hôtel en rdc car en effet tout le monde passe devant pour aller à la réception, ça doit être désagréable. C'est vrai qu'il y a une route qui passe juste devant le bungalow. Mais c'est en réalité un chemin de sable. Et ce n'était vraiment pas dérangeant. Nous avons eu vraiment très peu de passage. Nous avons arpenté la côte et nous n'avons pas trouvé d'autres endroit mieux. Oui il y a des plus beau et grands hôtels au bord de l'eau, mais Casa Takywara est une petite structure, pas une usine et c'est ça qui nous a plus. N'y allez pas pour faire du Snorkeling depuis la plage. Il n'y a rien a voir. Mais foncez l'endroit est magique.

L'hôtel n'est pas très bon marché alors dommage qu'il ne propose pas de paddle ou kayaks. Il faut aller le louer (cher) à 500m. L'hôtel ne propose pas non plus de vélo. Le lit est un peu petit (140cm) alors que la chambre est immense. Manque un étendoir pour serviellette et maillots.

Die Unterkunft besticht durch ihre ruhige Lage und großzügige Gestaltung. Das Takywara verfügt insgesamt über nur sechs Zimmer, darunter eine Beachfront Villa. Wir haben im Penthouse übernachtet – es war außergewöhnlich geräumig, das Bett sehr bequem, die Einrichtung geschmackvoll und alles war makellos sauber. Auch die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. In etwa 10 Minuten erreicht man das Stadtzentrum bei einem entspannten Spaziergang am Strand entlang. Der Strand selbst ist sauber und es stehen ausreichend Liegen direkt an der Unterkunft zur Verfügung. Strandtücher und eine Strandtasche wurden uns für die Dauer unseres Aufenthalts ebenfalls bereitgestellt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder ins Takywara zurückkehren. Vielen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit!

Cet hôtel est un enchantement! L'accueil de Marcella est remarquable de gentillesse. L'hôtel est très bien entretenu, la décoration est raffinée et de très bon goût. Nous étions dans le penthouse: MERVEILLEUX!!! Quel bonheur d'y avoir séjourné 3 nuits...!!

Peut-être qu'on aurait aimé que soit proposé un excellent petit-déjeuner. Sur la terrasse, cela aurait été parfait..

Casa Takywara mi ha preso il cuore. In una delle zone più belle dell'isola a 10 min a piedi dal centro che è sicuramente più rumoroso. La quiete, la gentilezza, i raccon, il giardino... Amo tutto di Casa Takywara. Grazie!!!
