This is a charming family run hotel in Poperinge (10min drive to Ypres), which has all the extras. We received a welcome drink on arrival, and shown around the hotel by the staff. Our room was clean, spacious and very well designed with a jacuzzi bath in the room. There were lots of amenities, including a day bag for walks/day out to store your things. The pool and jacuzzi outside were well maintained and clean, the pool was heated and the general grounds of the hotel were very well landscaped and spacious. In the garden there was a well stocked honesty bar, along with optional sauna. There was covered parking as well as EV charging, although this was not covered. Breakfast was exceptional with a vast variety of choices, including fresh fruit, patisserie items, hot and cold food, and fresh juices. There was also sparkling wine offered.

Tea/coffee facilities in the room were chargeable.

Je bent gewoon verbluft als de zwarte poorten openzwaaien. Dit park met kasteeltje en manoir verwacht je niet in centrum Poperinge. Je wordt warm onthaald met een welkomstdrankje en alle info. De prachtige kamers spreken tot de verbeelding. De verschillende faciliteiten in de tuin met zwembad bieden een enorme meerwaarde. Zowel het ontbijt als het diner worden door de chef met zorg bereid. Dit was niet zomaar een verblijf in een hotel, dit was een echte belevenis. Hartelijk dank aan dit topteam!

Ongelooflijk vriendelijke eigenaars (en hun kinderen) prachtige locatie en kamers en het ontbijt was echt genieten.

Really smart upscale hotel, with friendly staff and good facilities. Excellent breakfast, small outdoor swimming pool and lots of outdoor seating.

Restaurant was closed in the evening for a few days. Shame.

Everything! We were made to feel most welcome and at home. So much thought has gone into every detail. We felt so relaxed after a busy touring holiday in France, Germany and Belgium. We were in the pool and hot tub until late into the evening and relaxed in the garden room listening to music and enjoying a glass of wine. We felt at home. We will definitely book again

tuyauterie d'eau chaude qui passe dans le sol de la chambre en faisait un SAUNA. Le ventilateur ne servait à rien avec un bruit de folie. Il faisait plus de 25 degrés dans la chambre. Cette chambre ne devait pas être louée dans ces périodes de chaleur. Aucune remise n'a été proposé par l'exploitant malgré le sujet qu'il connaissait parfaitement. et tout cela dans une literie peut agréable.

Wat een fijn en mooi hotel! Mooie tuin en met zorg ingerichte kamer. Aardige mensen en erg lekker eten!

De locatie midden het dorp en toch zeer groen

Vrij kleine ontbijtruimte. Nogal druk als koppel met andere groepen.

Zeer aangename en rustige omgeving, superlekker geslapen, privaat parking, zeer vriendelijk en culinaire keuken in het verrassende en warme kasteel.

Wij houden niet van self- service voor de drankjes buiten of in het chaletje, maar dat is persoonlijke voorkeur.

cet établissement est de grande qualité , très calme , pourtant pas très éloigné du centre. les chambres sont spacieuses et le personnel est particulièrement attentionné et souriant. bref un séjour d'une seule nuit très agréable. nous étions en famille et avons réservé 3 chambres. nous étions tous très satisfaits. Merci pour la qualité de l'accueil

Uitstekend ontbijt in alle rust, prachtige romantische smaakvolle inrichting, boeiende tuin, mooie uitvalsbasis voor verkenning van het aangename Poperinge en het Heuvelland, rustig, alles dat je nodig hebt is er, niets op aan te merken. In onze kamer wat klein tv-scherm maar wij kijken geen tv :-) er is hier zoveel anders te doen dat veel mooier is. Alleen al het Frimoutpark vlakbij is een pareltje.

Onder de indruk van de stijl van het hotel. Door een familie gerund en vol passie en hartstocht! Het eten in het restaurant is een totale beleving en kwalitatief zeer hoogwaardig! Michelin-aanbeveling waardig.

Bedden met 2 matrassen ipv 1. Matrassen waren oncomfortabel. Afwasmachine aan tijdens het ontbijt zorgde voor wat onrust.

Koffie en water op de kamer was tegen betaling. Voor een hotel in deze prijsklasse vonden we dit jammer.

Malgré le nombre restreint de clients, il n'a pas toujours été simple de trouver une place pour garer son véhicule. Le tarif de la restauration, même si en adéquation avec l'établissement, est un peu élevé.

Very secluded with secure private parking. Large room with amenities. Unlike some hotel rooms our room had a generous sized shower/bathroom.

Very well presented hotel in what felt like the countryside but was near the centre of town. Staff were fantastic and very helpful giving advice on places to visit. Breakfast was excellent. We didn't participate in the Bistro menu as we had already had made plans in the area but if breakfast is anything to go by, I can imagine it would have been fantastic.

What an amazing place! It’s magiach from the moment you drive through the gate. It Looks Great on the pictures but in reall looks even better! Beautiful ground fabulous breakfast. Everything it top quality. Loved it!

The property situation especially its closeness to the Eurotunnel. The grounds were excellent as were the facilities pool etc. We would have liked to sample the restaurant but it was fully booked. WOuld suggest other guests book ahead.

We took the option of having the refined dinner. It was beautifully prepared and was served in an elegant dining room. In our view the price was justified by the high quality of the food and service.

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel.

Absolutely stunning grounds and hotel. A little oasis in the town. Loved the breakfast (could eat the brioche bread all day). Rented e-bikes and rode around the countryside, fabulous! Love the no-host honour bar. We had dinner in the chateau one evening and it was excellent. Would recommend 100%.

A wonderful place we found in Poperinge! Kind and service minded owners and staff. Peace and quiet. Wonderful garden with pool and hot tub. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy the settings at this trip, but we will absolutely go back and then try the restaurant too!

I booked the hotel Manoir Ogygia suite to treat myself after 6 nights of sharing a room after cycling all day and they did not disappoint. The suite is expansive with a private terrace and jacuzzi, enormous open shower, and even a sauna in the room. The service was top notch; they did not fail to impress.

Everything was exceptional, especially the facilities, the staff and the owners themselves. They have been running it for 17 years and it really is outstanding, especially the dinner in the dining room. We will be back! It was amazing. Thank you.

First time to this hotel and the sauna suit was worth every penny. Sauna in the bathroom, jetted tub on the balcony, kitchen and lounge area, comfy bed.

We lucked in when our usual hotel in Ypres was full - id choose this one even if i didn't intend to go to Popperinge.
