The staff was friendly and customer-oriented. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, and had fast Wi-Fi, which I appreciated. It was also within walking distance to Joaquin Balaguer subway station. It is located in the university district and I always felt safe walking back at night.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like. Honestly, it is a well-run small hotel with friendly staff and standard amenities.

The location is not great for restaurants if you are not driving. There is a very good supermarket down the street: Sirena, Av. José Contreras 4,

There was no breakfast and prepared food was a few blocks except on Sunday, then lunch is better. AC was cold, hot water was hot Fridge, sink and cooktop with accessories were included.

English was sparse. Elevators was slowest ever. Could live with both. Even better for a longer stay because of kitchen.

Old hag Hotel with bad staff, bugs, and appliances.

Very small windows, very poor Wi-Fi. I had to ask for towel, tee cup, lighter etc. It was provided but if I booked for 2 persons why the room equipment is provided only for 1 person?

The hotel itself is nice, but I do not recommend using the "shuttle service" the hotel offers. They just call you a regular taxi and the driver ripped us off. We paid WAY more than the $40 listed.

I liked the hotel room, and would DEFINITELY stay again. Great value. Only thing was that there wasn't a pillow or blanket for the 2nd bed. Minor discomfort that probably could have been resolved by calling the front desk. I didn't bother, as we checked in late in the evening. No real frills, but good value for your money. Just over sixty dollars for one night, for three people, during Holy Week. The room served its purpose.

My stay was welll, but I have ONE BIG complaint ; tha water doesn’t get Hot when taking a shower ,The management need to Fix this problem, That is big serious .

Major problems with internet access. Problems with toilet in room. Had to move twice to a bigger room but internet was bad there also.

Very very clean. There was construction going on at the time so at times noise during the day but the cleaning was excellent.

It was great ! But ,they need to fix the water temperature in the shower, they need to invest in a water pump to keep the water temp stable.you can barely take a shower because it fluctuates up and down...

They are running a scams on clients here. I paid for a junior sweet and the gave me a single room for 7 out of 10 days. There were charging me extra money on the side to let my own family see me. When I double checked my booking information it turned out they were wrong and the manager did nothing to help. I would not recommend this place to my enemy.

Well, the only thing I can say is that the WiFi was weak and they only had 1 towel in the bathroom. Other than that it was decent for the price.

It is a practical little hotel, ok location. The standard room is very small. We lost power in our room on our 2nd night and they moved us to a Junior Suite. This suite was big and comfortable, huge bathroom, kitchenette. At least they made up for the inconvenience. Front desk service was ok, but informal. Wifi was spotty.

We stayed here few times already. Very comfortable and close to La Sirena. A little loud because of construction.in the hotel.

This hotel is centrally located near within walking distance from the subway station, near to supermarkets, restaurants and the malecon. Clean and comfortable with refrigerator and stove. Great value!

Great! There's free wifi, it's clean, the Sirena is close by and they are super attentive! I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Amazing! I loved how attentive they are. The internet connection is really good too. It is conveniently located close to La Sirena, a store that sells everything. The area is very safe.

For the price range it was great. We took an Uber to all he places we wanted to see because walking was just a little too far. Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, staff were nice.

One thing !!! Going in and out of the main door is a big issue for me . Why don’t they give people a card to access the main entrance , it’s kind of annoying to buzz you in & out . Otherwise, it’s fine .

It was all that my wife and I needed for our short stay in Santo Domingo. I would go there another time. Clean and comfortable in a good neighborhood. Walking distance to a La Sirena and taxis are easy to get from there.

I booked this hotel based on recommendations from a family member. Never will I ever do that again. I was very disappointed with the looks of the building and surrounding area. The room assigned had no windows, the AC was not working rather circulating stale hot air and there was no hot water running in the shower. the Wifi only worked closed to the doorway. I only stayed for one night, was not comfortable and did not sleep. I checked out the next morning and could not get my money back. Not a good experience, will never stay at that hotel again.

One of the great things about this hotel is the 24hr lobby, so it doesn't really matter at what time you arrive, they will be open for check-in. It was a good experience overall; the lady that was cleaning our room was very pleasant and friendly, I did appreciate that. I was expecting one of the renovated rooms but got one with old furniture, still comfortable but not what was advertised. My room said, "room with a view" and my view was the backyard and the neighbor's window, which meant I didn't open my window once while I said here.

I traveled alone and for work reasons and the Hotel was very quiet.

From the time I checked in and left, the staff was so helping and it was very clean, Wi-Fi,love the kitchen. I am going back again and will be staying there. Thank you for everything.

The Southdale half good location and good condition for the price , I will consider these hotel in my next trip .

Bring matches for the gas stove. Security there 24/7 lock on the front door, quiet at night I stayed in my room for 4 days straight and it was perfect no bad comments

This place is very well located. Only three minutes ride from the Malecon. All the major roads are near to this hotel. The rooms are larger than most of New York city appartments. You can easyly fit a family of four. I loved the idea that they all have a nice refrigerator, stove, a brand new Air conditioner system and a flat tv with international television. You can find a lot of fancier hotels in the city of Santo Domingo, however for the amount of money they charged per night this place will top them all. This was my second stay there and it will not be my last.
