Location was absolutely the best! Within 2-15 minutes walking of restaurants, pharmacy on the same block, Colosseum, everything. Roberto was a gracious property owner. Breakfast every morning was more than we could eat and delicious.

Bathroom was smaller than expected but managed.

A hotel egy különleges atmoszférájú, tiszta, mind a közlekedés, mind a látnivalók szempontjából rendkívül jó helyen lévő szálloda. A Colosseum kb. egy percre van, a metró 5-10 perc. A szálloda környékén több jó étterem, kávézó, fagyizó és egy 24 órás bolt is található. A recepciós hölgy elképesztően segítőkész, kedves és figyelmes. A reggeli szokásos olasz, de nagyon bőséges.

Dobrá poloha cca 200m od Colossea. Malé, ale solidně vybavené pokoje. Dobrá restaurace přes ulici. Možnost parkování auta v garážích Colosseo cca 150m od hotelu. Jednoduchá servírovaná italská snídaně. Možnost posezení na střešní terase - ale 3 patra pěšky.

Amei o hotel! A localização é perfeita, a menos de duas quadras do Coliseu, com vários restaurantes na mesma rua e até um Carrefour por perto, o que facilita muito a estadia. Os quartos são lindos, muito bem decorados, e o hotel inteiro é encantador, cheio de detalhes e muito charme. O café da manhã foi excelente, com ótima qualidade, e o rooftop com vista para o Coliseu é simplesmente especial. Foi uma experiência incrível.

Não teve nada que eu não tenha gostado. A estadia foi excelente do início ao fim. Pretendo voltar a Roma e me hospedar novamente no mesmo hotel.

A charming hotel in a great location. It is located close to the Colosseum (and underground) as well as an easy 15 min walk to Roma Termini. The rooms itself were very authentically Italian meaning you always discovered something new

It was all just right

Hotel in posizione comodissima per visitare Roma, a pochi minuti dal Colosseo. Zona tranquilla, servita, con diversi ottimi locali e ristoranti. Ottimo il livello di pulizia, camera con dimensioni accettabili e staff molto cortese e disponibile.

Staff are very accommodating and the venue is quiet. Access after hours is easy and rooms are clean. Air condition is excellent and mini bar is very well stocked. Great for a single adult or a couple.

L’hôtel Célio est vraiment magnifique ! On a l’impression d’être dans un musée avec des fresques partout. Nous avons parcouru tous les couloirs pour tout voir ! La chambre était super confortable avec tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour exceptionnel. Il est idéalement situé dans une petite rue avec vue sur le Colisée. Tout le personnel de l’hôtel était très gentil et serviable et toujours prêt à aider. Nous reviendrons pour notre prochain séjour à Rome.

Snad jedinou výhodou hotelu byla jeho poloha v těsné blízkosti Kolosea. Kromě umístění bohužel nebylo nic, co by stálo za vyzdvihnutí. Tento hotel bych si podruhé nevybral.

Hotel jsme vybírali opravdu pečlivě. Nechtěli jsme nejlevnější variantu, ale ubytování v centru, blízko památek, se snídaní a pěkným pokojem. O to větší bylo naše zklamání po příjezdu. Dostali jsme úplně jiný pokoj, než jsme měli objednaný – malý, tmavý, s výhledem do zdi. Koupelna byla natolik stísněná, že by se tam dva lidé najednou ani nevešli. Ani snídaně nesplnila očekávání. Výběr byl minimální, vždy nám přinesli jen jeden malý kousek jídla (jedno vajíčko a jeden croisant) a zbytek jsme museli opakovaně žádat. Požádal jsem o výměnu pokoje za ten, který jsme měli původně rezervovaný. Až druhý den nám byla změna vyhověna a přestěhovali nás do lepšího pokoje.

It is a unique and whimsical hotel that makes you feel like you really were in Rome and not some generic chain hotel. It’s decorated in an opulent but cosy way, and the location is just next to the Colosseum but on a quiet street. People are incredibly kind and helpful, it is a luxury to be served breakfast to the table, with nice tableware.

Roberto was very helpful especially regarding my special requests. I traveled alone to run the Rome marathon so the location was perfect. Roberto is very well connected in the neighbourhood: he helped me organise my special meals (off the menu) at the Pasqualino restaurant across the street, and also a massage with the excellent massage therapist Giulia. My bedroom was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities needed. I liked the fabulous drapes and beautiful tiles all over the hotel. It definitely is a charming boutique hotel. Breakfast was delicious and abundant.

Location is excellent - several great restaurants and the colosseum is right there! The decor is great! Beautiful mosaic floors throughout. High ceilings. Well appointed. Quiet at night and no smoking. Modern and newly appointed WC in the room, love it! Nice continental style breakfast - great coffee!

L'endroit a un emplacement magnifique, droit à côté du colisée, considéré au centre mais un peu dans la zone avec moins de touriste, donc agréable pour circuler. Des bars et restaurants super à côté. L'hôtel a son style très précis et si l'on aime alors on est au paradis, le propriétaire pourrait faire payer une entrée juste pour visiter cet hôtel qui est à peu de chose près un musée. Roberto a été incroyable, super accommodant et aux petits soins pour moi.

We loved the traditional Italian decor. The smell in the lobby was lovely. The rooms were excellent and the most important aspect for us was the hosts, so lovely and hospitable we really felt relaxed. The location is amazing and all the restaurants around were brilliant. Highly recommend. A word of warning for those with mobility issues you would require a ground floor room as there is no lift and lots of stairs.

Hot drinks making facilities in the bedroom would have been desirable.

No coffee machine in the room, note even in the lobby. The rooms are very small. There is not enough variety of food in breakfast one chees, no vegetables

The location is wonderful, staff was friendly and kind, all was clean, great beds and breakfast was excellent. The hotel is filled with decor details that remind you where you are.

The only negative point is that the hotel doesn’t have elevator but the staff was very kind and help us taking care of our luggages.

1. Lit très court mes pieds dépassaient ( 1,8 m) 2. Entrée de Douche très petite pour un homme musclé. 3. Contrairement à la photo sur booking ma chambre avait ni chaise ni table. Pas d emplacement pour la valise 4. Hôtel tenu par une famille. Très sympa mais cette proximité peut être gênante. Le grd papa qui faisait réception avait une gangrène et pouvait marché avec difficulté. Il me faisait mal au coeur. Parfois il dormait sur le sofa, mal à l aise de le réveiller.

Great location near the Colosseum, the room were spacious as the bathroom. Comfortable bed.

A little misunderstanding with the staff for the air conditioning, but there was a solution (we didn't want it during the night, unfortunately linked with another room and therefore impossible to turn off). We were transferred to another room which happened to be bigger and more comfortable, so the personnel was helpful and they acted very quickly.

Clean and great location

Extremely convenient to main attractions but also a quiet room. The staff was lovely.

The bathroom is very, very tight for an average-sized person.

Fint Hotel med flotte mosaikker. God beliggenhed og meget hjælpsomt personale i receptionen.

Prisen er i overkanten for et almindeligt lille dobbeltværelse, som også var temmelig mørkt (selv når vi fik skodder hejst op). Der var ikke elevator op til de dejlige terrasser på taget. Vi orkede ikke at gå der op om eftermiddagen/aftenen, efter at have gået rundt i byen hele dagen. Morgenmaden var kedelig og den samme hver dag, samt foregik i en kælder uden dagslys.

Like a lot of hotels in Europe the room is small but adequate for comfort. Expect a cramped shower but plenty of hot water. The bed is comfortable and the AC kept the room at a nice temperature .

Stedet ligger optimalt for de mange seværdigheder, som befinder sig nær Colosseum, Forum Romanum mm. Det ligger på en ret stille gade, og man mærker ikke turiststrømmene, om end der kun er få hundrede meter til nogle af Roms største seværdigheder. Hotellet i sig selv er charmerende med et lidt usædvanligt design og materialevalg, men det er absolut velfungerende. Personalet i receptionen er særdeles venlige og hjælpsomme, og de assisterer gerne med stort og småt. Vores værelse var af mellemstørrelse, havde alle nødvendige faciliteter og fungerede upåklageligt.

Personalet i morgenmadsrestauranten kunne have gavn af at ligne nogen, som kan lide deres arbejde. Men de udførte deres job. Bortset herfra er der intet at udsætte på hotellet.

A great place close to the coloseum. Situated in an old house this hotel offers everything you need for a stay in Rome. The rooms as well as the whole hotel are decently decorated so you feel in the 18th century. The room as well as the bathroom were tidy. The reception was nice and friendly, the staff helpful. In the surroundings of the hotel, there are may restaurants offering some decent Italian food. If I will go to Rome again, I will stay here one more.

Le fait qu’il y ait de la moisissure dans la zone où on petit-déj’ juste en face des tables et que ça sentait la moisissure dans la salle de petit-déj’ le fait que la baignoire ne fonctionnait pas et j’ai d’eau finalement, il m’a dit ah bah vous auriez dû me le dire, je vous aurais expliqué mais quand il m’a présenté la chambre bah il m’a pas expliqué c’était son travail Comment je devine que c’est censé fonctionner ça surtout que c’était pas naturel c’était un bouton à actionner juste à côté de la porte d’entrée, rien à voir avec la salle de bain

Fantastic location near the Colosseum . Very comfortable bed in a very clean room. Roberto and the team are great at assisting in giving advice about finding your way around the city. Plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk.

Staff is the worst! Breakfast was thrown on the table with attitude by a big sweaty older man. A couple sat at 9:50am and at 10:00 the man said to leave the tables NOT KIDDING both tables said we would finish and leave, then a lady came in clapped and said we HAD TO LEAVE BECAUSE IT WAS 10am. Totally unprofessional! I told both of the check desk people about it and didn’t even apologize. BTW breakfast is terrible. The queen bed is 2 small beds together NOT A REAL QUEEN.

This is a very nice hotel which is located about two blocks from the Colosseum. Our room was beautiful. It was well appointed and spacious for European standards.The area has nice restaurants. And the breakfast at the hotel was great. If you’re looking for a place to stay down in this area, you can’t go wrong with this hotel. One word of advice if you would like an airport shuttle, be sure to contact them well in advance. However, the express train into Roma termini provides a pretty easy access to the hotel either by walking if you don’t have too much luggage or taxi if you do.
