In Touch Resort

La mia peggiore esperienza di viaggio. Ho visitato molti Paesi e non mi era mai capitato nulla di simile. Avevo prenotato tre notti. Al mio arrivo mi viene assegnata una camera al terzo piano senza ascensore, cosa mai comunicata prima. La stanza era sporca, caldissima, trascurata e fatiscente. Ho subito segnalato che ero fisicamente impossibilitata a fare le scale (e, a prescindere, con 40 gradi in Thailandia sarebbe stato il minimo avvisare il cliente in anticipo). Ho anche fatto presente le pessime condizioni della camera, ma mi è stato risposto che non avevano altre stanze disponibili al piano terra. Per la prima volta in vita mia, sono stata costretta a lasciare la struttura immediatamente e prenotare altrove. Nelle condizioni di cancellazione era chiaramente indicato che, in caso di cancellazione o mancata presentazione, sarebbe stata addebitata solo la prima notte. Ero quindi certa di ricevere il rimborso delle altre due. Così non è stato. Il servizio clienti di Booking è stato indecente, con una totale assenza di professionalità e attenzione al cliente. Non mi ha supportata né prima, né durante, né dopo. Ho chiesto più volte il rimborso dovuto, ma non ho ottenuto alcuna soluzione. Ho contattato anche la struttura, che è stata anche peggio. Avrebbe dovuto assumersi la responsabilità del disagio causato, ho fatto presente tutto più volte, ma non ho mai ricevuto risposta. Un’esperienza terribile, che non auguro a nessuno. Evitate questa struttura.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The restroom was nice and there was a good separation between the toilet and the shower. The location was nice. A little far from the bars, but walkable. The restaurant was good and with reasonable prices.

I had an extremely disappointing experience here, particularly regarding safety and basic customer care. During my stay, I fell down the stairs from The room due to their uneven condition. Injured and in pain, I went down to the front desk just to ask for some ice or basic first aid. Even though I understood it was after official hours, the staff member inside saw me and refused to even open the door to assist. While I respect operational hours, turning away an injured guest who fell because of the hotel's own hazardous stairs shows a total lack of empathy. The room itself had multiple issues: 1. The seating area was completely unusable because there was no air conditioning in that space. 2. The room was crawling with pests—there were numerous geckos inside, along with an ant infestation, especially behind the sink. 3. The hair dryer did not work at all.

Es war dreckig (Ameisenhaufen) und schimmelig. Hat krass gestunken. Wollten stornieren. Ging nicht. Ewig gewartet, dass eine Stornierung möglich ist. Viel viel viel zu teuer. Wurden aus dem Pool um 18 Uhr rausgeschmissen. Andere Gäste durften aber noch eine Stunde rein.

החיסרון היחיד זה הצוות שהיה ממש לא נחמד אבל אולי אנחנו נפלנו על שירות לא וואו באופן חריג.. לא חושב שמגיע לבעלים של המלון דירוג לא טוב באופן כללי על זה אבל זה לגמרי פוגע בחוויה

The location of the hotel is really good. It is right in front of Sairee beach, but that part of the beach is not much crowded and the area is generally peaceful. However it is still at a good location where you can reach, by a short walk, a lot of restaurants, shops, supermarkets, money exchange, ATMs... etc. Also, We didn't notice any noise or music bothering us, as it could be the case in some other areas. There is a walking path that takes you all the way until the centre of Ko Tao. That's why I say that the location is very good because it is right in front of the beach, calm and still close from the most important shops. They have one (or two?) familly bungallows which are really well designed and decorated. It was a pleasure staying inside! A restaurant is right in front of the hotel, as well as a pool for hotel guests. It is clean and staff is helpful arranging taxis and whatever is needed. Basically, the only thing that could (potentially) be better than this hotel is booking a bungalow in one of the bays of the island with sea view... But that's a personal choice.

Avevamo la family villa che era davvero molto grande e accogliente. Posizione fronte mare in Sairee bay, che di per sé non è granché ma piena di locali e negozietti. Come spiaggia consiglio Aow Leuk, a soli 10 min di auto.

La struttura è un po trasandata.

It was a wonderful living experience! I was a little worried before booking this hotel, because some of the reviews were very controversial. But our room blew me away. It is large, spacious, clean and bright. The hotel has a very beautiful territory, and most importantly, it is very quiet and peaceful. There's a beach across the street, and the main entertainment options (if you're a fan of them) are just a few minutes away. At the same time, the hotel is completely calm, so you do not need to worry about your vacation.

Dit resort ligt op een uitstekende locatie, aan het begin van sairee beach. De kamer en zeker het bed was comfortabel. We hebben veel gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. Het bijbehorende restaurant is fijn, met een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Het personeel was vriendelijk, ook voor m’n zoontje van 6. Dit resort is een verborgen parel.

We absolutely loved our stay here. This is a simple hotel, but it does everything exceptionally well and offers fantastic value in an unbeatable location. The hotel has spacious sea-view rooms with private balconies, huge bathrooms, and walk-in showers overlooking the ocean, a wonderful way to start and end each day. The rooms were spotless, with fresh towels provided daily, and the large fridge was a really useful bonus for longer stays. The pool area is beautiful, with plenty of shade throughout the day, especially in the late afternoon and evening, making it the perfect place to relax. The beachfront restaurant serves delicious food and is an ideal spot for sunset drinks, while the beach itself is lovely for swimming. The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. It's tucked away at the quieter end of Sairee Beach so that you can enjoy peace and relaxation, yet you're only a few minutes' walk from the restaurants, bars, and shops, and around 10 minutes on foot to Mae Haad Pier. We stayed for a week and honestly couldn't have chosen a better place. If you're visiting Koh Tao, I'd highly recommend the Oxygen Premium Snorkelling Trip. They organise convenient pick-up and drop-off, and it was one of the highlights of our stay. For dinner, don't miss Charcoal Bay Wine & Grill. The barbecued whole fish was absolutely outstanding. We enjoyed it so much that we went back a second time.

Quite spacious , clean & modern room. Very quiet area - no noise from bars etc. Close to beach - snorkelling possible directly off the beach (subject to tides). Friendly staff.

We had stayed in a very swanky resort for the previous few days, so this property was a bit of a letdown. No major problems, just has an ordinary vibe. More like a hotel than a resort.

Superior suite room was incredible for an affordable price (staying in June so off-season) - massive with a view of the ocean. Pool was also very nice at a good temperature and enough sunbeds.

Bathroom was very dim without much light and fan didn’t work great to mitigate steam.

We enjoyed In Touch Resort. We had booked 2 rooms The twin room for our children was in a block. The room was quite dark, but that meant it stayed cool. It was a lovely room with twin beds and a good size bathroom , but you could nt sit on the balcony as lots of mosquitos as a dark area. Our room was in the main block and we were up high . This meant we had a lovely balcony and view. Our room was nice, showing signs of wear and tear, but the balcony made up for it. Room was very hard to lock. And the stairs are hard work so bear this in mind! The pool at the hotel is beautiful and the restaurant connected to the hotel was our favourite in the area.

Its quite expensive for what you are getting, and there is no breakfast included which for a family of 4 adds up. Also the staff were not great at customer service.

Great location at the quieter end of town, while still being an easy walk to the Sairee Beach area, restaurants and shops. The family room was spacious, clean and incredibly comfortable. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a day exploring. The restaurant and bar were excellent, with great food and a relaxed atmosphere. We’d happily stay here again.

Goede locatie. Fijn en schoon zwembad.

Airco was enorm slecht. Kamers waren vies. Ongedierte aanwezig.

Ruime kamers, lekker balkon maar vooral het personeel en het eten in het restaurant.

De airco lekte en dit werd niet opgelost. Hoorde dat meer mensen daar last van hadden.

Goede locatie, even het pad oversteken en je zit bij leuke restaurants en aan het strand. Ruime kamer, schoon, fijn babybed voor onze dreumes.

Groot deel van het personeel was onvriendelijk, keek je niet aan, hadden moeite om hoi (terug) te zeggen. Bij de receptie ook niet het gevoel van een warm welkom. Jammer, want dit had deze accomodatie echt tot een 9+ kunnen maken!

Location is excellent on the beach

Staff not friendly and were never around, owner or manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. There were ghekkos in room and we couldn’t lie out on balcony or at the pool because of all the ants Also the aircon didn’t work properly, and the stairs to second floor were so steep, very dangerous We tried to find solutions with owner but she was not interested and very rude. We left after 3 nights even though we were booked in for 7 nights. Very poor customer service and overall experience The pool was dirty too with green at edges and there was a bad smell through the whole resort

Good location, big room.

More than outdated and really gross and dirty. The first time in my life that I told the stuff to clean up the room after check in, which helped just a bit. It was really dirty. The furniture and facilities are run down. The room was full of animals like ants, spider, cockroaches etc. They came in from some holes in the wall in the shower. After i put a towel there, the staff put some paper I believe in there. The walls had lots of old dead mosquitoes etc. on them. Staff didn't seem to care too much. The pool had some green algaes on the walls and the water looked a bit murky (seems like not enough chlorine or wrong ph level). So far our worst Thailand Hotel experience.

Nice, surprisingly large hotel, private but spacious pool area. Big room, comfortable bed. Quieter end of the beach within walking distance of the busier bar streets on the north end. Complimentary taxi to the harbour. The attached beach bar has some of the cheapest drinks on Sairee, nice sunset vibe.

Staff were not very visible, you had to go to the beach bar to get them. Not much communication before our stay, didn't know they offered a transfer to the harbour until we left, we may have missed out on a free pick up? The bar is separate from the pool area (good for privacy) if you want a drink / food you need to cross the road to order, I assume you're allowed to take a drink from the bar to the pool but don't know for sure. The western food from the beach bar was disappointing, we didn't try anything else and ate elsewhere. You can hear the bass from the AC beach club when they have their pool parties till 2am. Perhaps only a few times a month, just be aware, ear plugs may be required. We were on the top floor which didn't help. The shower at the pool needs fixing. No water.

1. The place was clean, modern, and in a very good location. 2. They provide a free shuttle service back to the pier.

1. My room was number 29, and it was very high up. You need to climb many stairs to reach it, which was fine for me, but it may not be suitable for older people or guests with heavy luggage. 2. The internet connection was weak and did not reach my room properly. 3. During checkout, the staff came to my room at 11 AM and waited outside for me to leave quickly, even though normal checkout time is usually 12 PM.

The view from the room was beautiful, I asked for a room with a view and they delivered. I was able to watch the sunset from my bed! The location was great. It’s at the quiet end of the walking street which I appreciated. But within walking distance to all shops and restaurants etc. the restaurant is also lovely. It’s a great spot to watch the sunset. The food was okay too. The pool was a massive highlight for me. A spent a lot of time relaxing and swimming. The pool is new and big and very modern. The location of the hotel is right across from the beach, literally a 30second walk which is great. Will be coming and staying again when I am next in Koh Tao 😁

The room could have been cleaned better, but it wasn’t enough to make any complaints. Everything else far outweighed this issue. The rooms could be updated a little bit, it was a little worn in areas. The staff could have been a little bite friendly but I didn’t have any bad things to say.

Nous avons été assez déçues de l'hotel : prix assez élevé pour la qualité. Il n'y a pas vraiment d'acceuil, l'hotel semble ouvert pour tous, les infrastructures sont assez vetustes.

Everything was great. The pool was really nice and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The WiFi worked perfectly. We were able to work and do video calls from the room with no problems.

It was a little hard to communicate with reception staff.

Was quite expensive for a room with no breakfast, insects in the room quite a bit. Drain didn’t let the water drain but not really a problem.

Wij verbleven in de family bungalow en dat was absoluut een fijne keuze. Ik zag wat oudere reviews maar volgens mij zijn alle (?) kamers wel gerenoveerd. De family bungalow (onder deze naam te boeken) ligt vooraan op de begane grond, vlak bij het zwembad. Binnen vind je twee zeer ruim opgezette en mooi ingerichte slaapkamers, samen met een sfeervolle badkamer met fraaie tegels en een ruime douche. Alles voelt verzorgd en stijlvol aan. Buiten is er een gezellig zitje en een groot, trampoline-achtig ligbed waar je heerlijk kunt ontspannen. De bedden worden dagelijks netjes opgemaakt en je krijgt iedere dag flesjes water. Een klein minpuntje was dat enkele stopcontacten bij het bed niet werkten, maar gelukkig zijn er meer dan voldoende andere stopcontacten aanwezig. Het zwembad is echt een pluspunt: schoon, prettig en voor een kleinschalig resort verrassend ruim. Het hotel ligt aan het rustige gedeelte van het strand van Koh Tao. Verderop wordt het ’s avonds een stuk drukker, met veel barretjes en scooters, wat voor behoorlijk wat geluidsoverlast kan zorgen. Het is jammer dat scooters over het strandpad mogen rijden. Als je juist dat rustigere deel van het strand zoekt, is dit hotel absoluut een aanrader. Ontbijt is niet inbegrepen, maar tegen een zeer vriendelijke prijs verkrijgbaar in het restaurant. Dit restaurant is leuk ingericht, betaalbaar en heeft lage zitjes waar je prachtig de zonsondergang kunt bekijken. Kortom: reis je met een gezin en/of zoek je een rustigere plek op Koh Tao, maar wel Sairee beach? dan zit je hier op dit deel van het strand bij Sairee beach echt goed.

Het personeel vonden wij helaas minder gastvrij dan op andere plekken waar we verbleven. Dat haalt de totale vakantiebeleving net iets omlaag. Dat was op het hele gedeelte van Sairee beach zo. Ook misten we wat extra faciliteiten of entertainment, zoals bijvoorbeeld een pingpongtafel.

Prachtige ruime en schone kamer met geweldig uitzicht en heel mooi onderhouden groen om de kamer heen. Fijn zwembad en op zeer kort lopen van de zee. Relatief rustige omgeving.

Badkamer was iets verouderd, en van de twee airco’s functioneerde wisselend.

- perfect location on the island, so much available walking distance and easy pick up for tours - staff were always around and super duper helpful with washing and booking tours or taxis etc - really big room and bathroom and always clean - the bed was very comfy - absolutely loved everything about the hotel and island!!!

nothing negative really, the bedside powerpoints didn’t work but there were plenty others around the room!

The location is great, really close to the beach and the areas has lots of cafes and restaurants. The room was very spacious and the swimming pool area is lovely.

The staff weren’t very friendly, with the exception of one or two. Especially in the connecting restaurant. This wasn’t a huge deal but it wasn’t welcoming either.

The rooms were clean, spacious. The location is great with a lovely restaurant connected. The pool is peaceful and serene.

Our AC didn’t work very well so we were quite hot at times. The staff were also not the most friendly.

Spacious room and terrace with a great view! The beds are comfy (compared to other hotels in the island) and room is cleaned everyday with fresh towels and water.

The electricity turns off when leaving the room, which is good in general, but also the fridge is turned off. They don't offer taxi service from the pier.

Que cet hotel donne directement sur la plage la plus conne de Koh Tao, et a plusieurs batiments, j'aiceu la chance d'avoir une chambre studio avec une vue sans vis a vis et voyant la luxuriante vegetation du jardin. Chambre tres design traversante un balcon d'un cote et la porte d'entree qui donnsit sur une coursive. Le restaurant qui donne sur la plage est sympa et on y mange bien. Le staff gentil mais ne s'exprimant peu en anglais. Je recommande cet hotel, mais il est certain que pas toutes les chambres n'ont pas de vis a vis. Il y a egalement une piscine mais vu la plage de sable blanc et la couleur de l'eau de differents bleus, sans hesiter la plage.

Отель супер расположен! Отель утопает в зелени. И номера просто супер закаты! Я не ожидал такого супер сервиса и качества от 2*. Я однозначно рекомендую!

Минусов небыло

Die Lage ist perfekt. Es liegt am Anfang vom Sairee Beach. Der Strand ist wunderschön für den Sonnenuntergang. Zum Schwimmen würde ich lieber den Strand weiterlaufen bis zum Ende. Schöne Spaziergänge inklusive. Das Partyleben ist fussläufig entfernt aber weit genug weg um runterzukommen und am wunderschönen Pool zu relaxen. Das Resort Personal ist freundlich unser Zimmer wurde einwandfrei gemacht, sind gut ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher und die Betten sind gemütlich. Das Bad ist groß. Der Balkon ist super. Sehr grüne gepflegte Anlage mit einigen Vögeln. Das Restaurant gegenüber ist wunderschön, lecker, gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis auch wenn man sich an die etwas reservierte Art gewöhnen muss. Da ich aus Norddeutschland komme mag ich es tatsächlich gerne in Ruhe gelassen zu werden, daher war es für mich genau das Richtige. Fussläufig sind viele Restaurants und eine Skyline Bar. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Nothing to complain

Perfect location for exploring Koh Tao. The resort had a great beach bar which was perfect for watching the sunset. We stayed in the superior studio and we were on the top floor with a beautiful room, a massive balcony and wonderful sea views. The pool was beautiful, clean and well cared for. Plenty of sun beds available and toilets just a short walk away. I can’t rate this property highly enough, our stay was perfect 🤩 5 ⭐️

Mooie styling, schoon, ruime kamers, zwembad mooi en schoon, mooie tuin, toplocatie (dicht bij alles en toch rustig).

Personeel in het restaurant is heel onaardig en zegt geen boe of bah en een lachje kan er ook niet vanaf. We mochten onze tafel zelf schoonmaken met tissues nadat andere mensen weg gingen…. Alles zag er heel schoon uit maar wel 1 mega kakkerlak gevonden en termieten in het bed. Onze bungalow zou met zeezicht zijn maar alles is dichtgegroeid door bomen dus je ziet niks.

Vildt sted. Vi havde top terresen. Flot udsigt. Rent. Luksus.

Espectacular, la habitación contaba con todo aparte de las camas cómodas, la habitación era tal cual las imágenes aún mejor, terraza grande.

The room was nice and big, as was the bathroom. It was comfortable and a nice place to relax after a long day. The location was great and literally walking distance from shops, restaurants and the beach. We didn't see too much of the staff but they were helpful when we did.

It was a little dark when all the lights were on. It could do with a little light outside the front door of the room, as it was dark in the evening when trying to unlock the door.

Die Unterkunft war sehr gut gelegen und es gab jeden Tag frisches Wasser gebracht .

Das Personal war teilweise nicht so freundlich wie man es eigentlich gewohnt ist. Ein Schlafzimmer war etwas dreckig .

Die Unterkunft an sich ist ganz ok, das Schönste ist der Pool.

Das Personal war teilweise sehr unfreundlich, sowohl im Restautant als auch an der Rezeption.

L’accueil à la réception, très sec très froid et manque de communication…la gérante a accompagné tous les clients au moment du Check in dans leur chambre et nous a envoyé avec une personne qui n’a pas pu nous aider pour porter nos valises vu que la chambre attribuée est au 1er étage avec beaucoup de marches bien pointues ( voir photo), il y avait deux Clim dans la chambre familiale de 50 m2 et celle de nos enfants ne fonctionnait pas malgré l’intervention d’un agent de maintenance) La veille de notre départ mon mari s’est renseigné auprès de la gérante sur le service navette pour nous ramener le lendemain au Warf et il a eu droit à une réponse négative limite agressive expliquant que l’hôtel ne proposait pas ce service alors qu’on a vu une navette au nom de l’hôtel 😡 Nous avons contacté un taxi par nos propres moyens et surprise au moment du départ un salaire de l’hôtel nous explique que la gérante nous propose de nous déposer 😖 nous restons surpris et dans l’incompréhension totale…mais nous nous sommes engagés auprès d’un taxi qui s’est présenté à notre hôtel ensuite et nous avons maintenu ce dernier parce que ça ne se fait pas d’annuler à la dernière seconde… Bref la gérante nous a mis dans une situation inconfortable et nous trouvons son comportement inadmissible..nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet hôtel !!! Dernier point, au moment du départ, le personnel était au rdv (3 pour nettoyer une seule chambre !!!) ils nous ont vu avec nos deux enfants galerer piur descendre nos valises et personé je dis bien personne n’a proposé de nous aider…sachant que la veille je me suis fais une belle blessure sur la jambe (marché cassée dans une rue sans lumière) et que je boitais et impossible de porter des valises…bref un service médiocre !!!!

Direct aan de levendige restaurant straat en het strand. Maar het gebouw op goede afstand voor rust. Lekker zwembad ook.

Geen lift, op ander plekken vaak hulp voor bagage wat niet nodig was, maar hier helaas niet. Rioolgeur en verstopte wasbak op de kamer, aangeven, maar niks mee gedaan.

L’hôtel est très bien situé dans le quartier vivant de l’île. Les chambres très belles spacieuses et propre. Très jolie piscine

Les photos ne ressemblent pas vraiment à la réalité. Le restaurant et la plage sont en face mais de l’autre côté de la route. Le personnel n’est pas vraiment agréable. On ne vous regarde même pas quand vous arrivez, pas un bonjour, et débrouillez vous pour vous installer. De plus que ce n’est pas très bon, comparé à d’autres restos à côté. Le séjour nous a coûté assez cher pour ce que c’est.

Nous avons eu une chambre de 52 m² avec terrasse 100 m² le tout avec vu sur mer exceptionnel ! Tout rénovée ou neuf !

L’emplacement, la piscine, la literie, la personne qui nous raccompagne au port le dernier jour.

Un petit coup de rafraîchissement surtout dans la salle de bains, et une réduction sur le petit dej’ aux clients de l’hôtel serait la bienvenue.

The view from the big balcony room at the top is fabulous. The room was very large and clean and the bed comfortable. Their restaurant opposite on the beach is very good and inexpensive and their waiters are attentive. The location makes up for any small faults.

The stairs are very steep.

The only thing we regret is that we were there only for 2 nights. Location, staff and swimming pool deserve recognition. There is really nothing bad I can think of and trust me as I travel quite often.

L’emplacement est top ! Piscine très agréable pour se détendre. Le restaurant excellente vue et nourriture excellente. Chambre standard. Le shuttle pour aller au port au retour.

Le shuttle à l’aller aurait été agréable pour éviter la marche du port avec les bagages avec de belles montées et descentes. Porte pas assez isolée avec un jour en haut, en bas et sur les côtés pouvant laisser entrer les moustiques. Nous avions pris une moustiquaire et heureusement. Le personnel n’est pas souriant, impression de les embêter. c’est dommage avec le potentiel de l’hôtel… A revoir

חדר גדול (חדר משפחה) ומרווח מאוד, נקי. מיקום טוב ושקט ליד הטיילת, בריכה נעימה. תמורה מצוינת למחיר.

לחדר שלנו היו מדרגות יחסית רציניות. ריח מעט לא נעים בחדר השירותים.

Great location right by the beach. Rooms are big with decent but noisy air-conditioning... The in touch restaurant is excellent... ate in there every day... and very cheap! Swimming pool fantastic with sunloungers..

If you struggle with stairs etc request a lower level room if you're in the rooms building. The stairs are a killer. If you get a top floor room. Also make sure you've got a ton of mosquito repellent on before leaving the room... you'll be bitten by the time you've reached reception.
