DD Hut Koh Tao

Sehr gute ruhige Lage, in nur 5 Minuten mitten im Geschehen am Sairee Beach. Sehr sauberer Pool, großes Zimmer. Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nach dem Zimmerservice war das Kuscheltier unserer Tochter verschwunden (ist in die Wechselwäsche gerutscht), binnen 5 Minuten hatten wir es wieder und eine kleine Plüsch-Schildkröte gab es als Trostpflaster. Zum Abschied hat jeder von uns ein Armband geschenkt bekommen. Kleines Riff direkt vor dem Hotel, Zugang zum Meer über Treppe oder Felsen möglich.

Laminat beschädigt, dadurch Verletzungsrisiko. Das sollte schnellstens behoben werden. Nach Nutzung des Pisuars strenger Geruch im Badezimmer. Frühstück mit Luft nach oben. Wir haben nur 1 x im Hotel gefrühstückt, wir fanden es für 250 THB nicht gut. Personal beim Frühstück sehr unmotiviert. (50 Meter weiter kleines Kaffee mit gutem Frühstück u Service). Der Typ bei der Rollervermietung war sehr unfreundlich und genervt. Für Helme werden außerdem zusätzlich 50 THB verlangt und Versicherung kostet auch extra. Wir haben dort nicht gemietet.

La piscina, el personal y la ubicación, tiene también un bar muy bonito. Las chicas de la recepción fueron muy amables y todo estuvo muy limpio los días que estuvimos.

Las instalaciones eran un poco antiguas, necesita renovar al menos la habitación en la que estuvimos

La ubicación de la villa, pensabamos que iba a estar alejada ya que cuando alquilas una villa quieres privacidad. Pero es como un apartamento con piscina. Abajo tienes a gente. Está en medio de otros alojamientos. No hay casi vistas al mar. Delante hay una caseta que te tapa todas las vistas. Las vistas son a la caseta practicamente. El agua de la piscina estaba helada. Los muebles estaban algo desgastados. Precio muy elevado para lo que es. El desyuno no vale nada.

Nos encanto! Habitación perfecta, piscina maravillosa y la atención excelente! Nos gusto tanto que alargamos una noche mas. Un trato muy bueno

Mooi uitzicht op zee vanuit de bruidssuite. Gelegen in een straatje met verschillende restaurantjes, doch rustig.

De douchestraal was niet goed afgesteld en viel regelmatig weg. Het dak van het terras zit wat los waardoor de plaat bij wind voortdurend op en neer slaagt en veel lawaai maakt. Hier hebben we ook nachtelijk veel last van gehad. Ik kan me voorstellen dat het ooit erg mooi was, maar het is nu verouderd. Tevens op verscheidene plaatsen schimmel. Verder ook haren in bad waardoor we deze niet gebruikt hebben. We wilden bij het hotel een scooter huren waarvoor we een deposit van 4000 baht moesten betalen. We kregen dit bedrag uiteindelijk netjes terug, maar we vonden dit toch vervelend. Er is geen bordje met “niet storen”. Er zijn weinig bedjes aan het zwembad. Kortom zeker geen €188 waard. We zouden niet opnieuw boeken.

Magnifique endroit tout près de la mer et du centre. Très belle piscine vue sur la mer. Quelques bungalow pour deux personnes vue sur la mer superbes , très spacieux. Les autres bungalow pour 3ou 4 sont aussi très bien. Le personnel est très aimable. Tout est très propre.

La taille de la piscine qui est un peu petite pour nager, plus pour se détendre et regarder la mer. Le petit déjeuner qui est servi en buffet mais côté rue.

Lo qeue más nos gustó fue el personal, todos muy amables, en particular la señora de la limpieza y los chicos que trabajan en el restaurante, todos muy simpáticos. Nos gustó mucho también la ubicación, la piscina, las vistas y la comida del restaurante donde cenamos los tres días que estuvimos allí.

El cuarto de baño de la habitación triple está muy anticuado

Todo fue fantástico, desde el inicio hasta el final de la experiencia en este hotel. Cama y almohadas muy cómodas. Desayuno muy rico y completo, gran variedad de comida. Llevar repelente de mosquitos al desayuno porque hay bastantes. Personal muy amable y la limpieza excelente. También utilizamos el servicio de lavandería del hotel ya que está muy bien de precio. Ropa bien limpia y planchada de un día para otro si no quieres pagar más por el servicio express. También nota muy a favor del hotel es que tienen servicio desde el hotel al puerto el día el checkout(consultar horas en recepción). También ojo, no existe grab/bolt solo taxis privados por lo que llevar efectivo. Posición del hotel espectacular ya que estás a dos pasos de restaurantes, bares, zona de ocio.

El wifi es la única nota negativa y por lo que no pongo 10 de nota, funcionaba bastante mal, por lo menos en mi habitación, no llegaba prácticamente nada y el 5G también muy lento a pesar de tener HolaFly.

Es un complejo cerca del muelle y de las calles principales. La habitación era amplia y cómoda. Nos tocó cerca de la piscina pero no había mucho ruido. Casi era privada.

La habitacion reservada era con vistas al mar... pero había que buscarlo detrás de un tejado de chapa y un montón de árboles. Además me pareció caro con respecto a otros que luego vi en la zona.

Der Pool, der Blick - hatten das Glück, die Wohnung direkt dahinter bekommen zu haben. Abends besonders schön: Im Restaurant hinter/unter dem Pool wurde angenehme Live-Musik gespielt, dazu der Sonnenuntergang … Sehr gute Lage in der Nähe der Flaniermeile.

Tutto perfetto, camera vista mare era qualcosa di speciale. Per non parlare della piscina a sfioro. Persone gentili e pulizia ottima!!!

Magnifique séjour dans cet établissement très bien placé dans Koh Tao. C’est très calme, La piscine est magnifique, et le personnel est très accueillant et disponible. Notre bungalow disposait d’une très belle terrasse vue sur la mer. On a adoré!

La connexion wifi ne fonctionne pas bien. Le petit déjeuner est moyen mais correct.

W hotelu DDHut podobało mi się wszystko. Hotel ma świetną lokalizację, jest blisko z portu, na plażę, do restauracji i sklepów a jjedniczesnie jest położony w bocznej cichej i spokojnej uliczce. Personel był bardzo miły i pomocny. Śniadania były bardzo smaczne. Dostaliśmy śliczny, duży, jasny pokój z widokiem na morze. Cudownie było budzić się i z łóżka widzieć błękit morza za oknem. Pokój był codziennie dokładnie sprzątany, Czułam się tam naprawdę bardzo dobrze. Jeśli jeszcze kiedyś przyjadę na Koh Tao, to na pewno będę starała się zarezerwować pobyt w tym hotelu. Naprawdę bardzo polecam to miejsce.

Nie ma czegoś takiego.

Hotel in una posizione eccezionale, panoramica e molto suggestiva. Bella la piscina e in generale tutto il complesso. La camera grande e molto pulita con tutti i comfort e servizi. Anche il ristorante dell'hotel vale la pena. Posizione ottima per raggiungere le spiagge e i punti piu importanti di Ko Tao.

Personal muy amable, y la piscina es pequeña pero preciosa con vistas al mar, Infinity. Muy instagrameable.

Habitación con instalaciones bastante viejas y falta de mantenimiento por poner una pega. Cómo sólo fuimos una noche nos adaptamos.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war angemessen. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine reichhaltige Auswahl und ist gut. Sehr angenehm, dass man bis 12 Uhr frühstücken kann. Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und vom Balkon hat man einen seitlichen Meerblick über den Infinitypool hinweg. Die Zimmer sind hell gehalten und wirken daher sehr ansprechend. Ein großer Spiegel im Raum lässt das Zimmer größer wirken, als es ist. Die Klimaanlge ist angenehm leise und die Betten sind mittelhart. Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig und ist nicht so hellhörig, wie viele andere Hotelanlagen. Eine kleine Anlage. Das Restaurant mit seiner Aussicht gehört sicherlich zu den schönsten Restaurants in diesem Bereich. Hauptstrand, Shops, Bars, weitere Restaurants und der Pier sind auch zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Kleiner Sandstrand am Hotel, ist allerdings nur über einen Felsweg zu erreichen. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Tauch- oder Schnorcheltouren.

Der eigentliche Hauptstrand liegt nicht direkt am Hotel. Der Pool ist klein und es gibt nur wenige Liegen sowie nur 2 Sonnenschirme. Die Preise im Restaurant sind sehr hoch. Das Bad ist eher klein Geringer Wasserdruck und oft kein richtig warmes Wasser.

Me gusto todo.

Unser 3-Bett Zimmer hat uns gut gefallen. Die Anordnung des 3. Betts war optimal,, damit unsere Tochter auch ein bisschen einen eigenen Bereich hatte. Es war auch alles sauber und die Lage optimal abseits des großen Trubels Trotzdem alles schnell fußläufig erreichbar. Der Service war hervorragend. Meinem Mann war die Matratze zu hart. Er bekam sofort eine Auflage. Transfer vom und zum Pier werden kostenlos angeboten.

Die ein oder andere kleine Renovierung wäre empfehlenswert. Hat uns aber nicht gestört. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht mit gebucht. Es gibt tolle Frühstücksoptionen direkt am Sandstrand. Im Pool waren wir nicht. Die Lage ist optisch aber traumhaft schön. Ebenso wie das Restaurant unterhalb. Preislich für Thailand sicher zu teuer. Aber hier wird der Preis von Angebot und Nachfrage bestimmt.

The staff were lovely on check in but unfortunately it finishes there. The place was dirty, furniture stains, towels dirty, pillow cases brown and rugs ripped on the ground & the final straw for us we had several bugs, cockroaches centipedes in our room we couldn’t stay any longer we had to book emergency accomodation that night which was expensive and hard to source & had to really push and struggled to get two nights refund and lost the rest. This is absolute budget accommodation at best and somewhere I would never consider to stay again, the pool villa main bedroom window left a huge puddle of water on the bedroom floor after rainfall. I’m not one to leave reviews but this really put a big dampener on our trip and would hate for others to make the same mistake.

De omgeving, vlakbij de leuke restaurantjes, winkels hotels, stranden. erg lieve vrouw vd housekeeping die per ongeluk de colablikjes van mijn zoon weg had gegooid maar ons ook dezelfde dag nog nieuwe bracht. De zelfgemaakte armbandjes die de kinderen kregen.

De receptie bij het uitchecken, erg chagrijnig. Deur vh appartement kon niet goed dicht.

We stayed at DD Hut on Koh Tao, and it was fascinating to experience such a distinctive atmosphere. Usually, we lean toward minimalism, but vacations are a great time to broaden our impressions. The bungalows follow a playful nautical theme (the resort is cascading, just like Heritage), with turquoise-and-white lighthouse-style buildings, ropes, and a ship's wheel over the entrance reading "Welcome Aboard." Cute touches like decorative turtles scattered around the garden add real charm. The reception is shared with Heritage, so we were greeted by staff we already knew and loved, that was nice. The room itself was full of character: dark wood furniture, gold panels with traditional Thai motifs above the bed, and a colorful hand-painted butterfly on the ceiling. The terrace had a cozy daybed sofa that became our favorite spot for evening movie nights, with a view of the path below and lush tree crowns across the way, where we could watch squirrels and birds. A lovely touch was the music playing from the creative workshop near reception, put on by a very sweet girl; it gave the whole property a relaxed, warm feel. And at checkout, manager Pat gave us some thoughtful gifts, a touching gesture that left us with only warm memories. Thank you, DD Hut!

The hotel is located very close to Sairee Beach and is within easy walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. However, I booked a triple room, and it felt very outdated. The room facilities are also quite old. The main thing I disliked was the toilet layout; the urinal/bowl is directly in front of the toilet seat, which was unexpected and did not look nice.

The location is perfect, with incredibly strong AC and a great pool. The attached restaurant has lovely food and provides live music. We were thoroughly happy with our stay and would definitely return and recommend.

The room did have noise from the street and quite poor wifi but aside from that everything was perfect.

Ausstattung hatte besser sein können, kein Strand

Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit Meerblick - das war sehr schön - ebenso wie der Pool. Das Hotelteam war super freundlich und mit allem hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist klasse - Laufentfernung sowohl zum Strand mit Restaurants etc. als auch zum Ort bzw. Pier. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Frühstück hätte etwas umfangreicher sein können und die Matratzen auf den Betten etwas weicher. Aber sonst alles prima!

Bij aankomst was het appartement al klaar, maar mochten we er nog niet in. Jammer! Vrijwel geen kastruimte.

La piscina estaba turbia, había hormigas en la habitación, y en las pinzas del desayuno. Hablé con ellos pero no me hicieron ni caso, solo sonreían y no arreglaron nada. Después de haber pagado más de 120 euros la noche me parece que no cumplió ni los mínimos de salubridad. Reservé hotel con piscina para poder descansar por las tardes con el niño y no la hemos usado porque estaba muy sucia. Completamente decepcionados.

L’hôtel est très bien situé, proche de l’animation tout en restant au calme. La petite piscine à débordement offre une très belle vue, idéale pour admirer le coucher de soleil. L’hôtel se trouve à seulement 800 m de l’arrivée du ferry. Nous avons pris un taxi pour nous y rendre, mais il nous a demandé 400 bahts ! Le trajet est tout à fait faisable à pied, même s’il faut prévoir une belle petite montée. Nous avons été ravi par le petit cadeau en partant de l’hôtel. Merci beaucoup.

Just a gorgeous place to stay. We loved our stay - the pool, the view and the rooms were just great. Nice and quiet at night. Enjoyed the walk into the main area, lots to look at and lots of food options. Food at restuarant was good.

i have absolutely NO IDEA why this place has so many good reviews. please listen to the negative reviews that were posted recently, including mine (coming from someone who actually pays attention). As we prepared to travel here from Koh Samui, we last minute noticed reviews on uncleanliness, mold, and scamming habits. Absolutely all of that is true. We arrived at 10:30am from our ferry and they let us leave our bags while we waited for check in at 1pm. We got our key (a 500 baht refundable in cash was required which I was okay with) and the staff brought our luggage to our Superior King room. So yes, service was nice in the first half. However, before we even entered the room, we noticed how worn down the front porch was. I kept my mouth shut and hoped that the room itself would contradict the bad reviews, but I was so disappointed. There was mold growing in every corner, weird questionable stains on multiple spots of our bedsheet, ???? mildew and other horrific stains all over the walls and a terrifying bathroom that I didn’t even bother to step foot in. There was mold growing there too, if you were wondering. From the fridge, to the closet, to anywhere you looked, they didn’t even bother. We sat on the bed and immediately contacted booking.com since we booked through there. They contacted the property and we waited an hour (and looked for backup stays) even though we were supposed to receive an update about the property’s response within 30 mins. Nonetheless we absolutely did not want to end our trip in Thailand in this room, so we confronted the reception desk in person around 2:10pm. I kindly yet directly introduced how we wanted to check out despite checking in for one hour, showed the photos for proof, and described our issues with hygiene safety and cleanliness. The lady who was attempting to help us gave attitude so fast. She told me to “show the room that we booked on the site” so I pulled up our superior king room on booking.

Die alten Zimmer in braun-holzigen Tönen sind eine Zumutung für den verlangten Preis eine Frechheit. Alles verlottert und unhygienisch.

Magnifique piscine à débordement avec une belle vue sur la mer depuis la piscine. Super emplacement près d'une rue avec des magasins, restaurants, street food et bars mais chambres éloignées de la rue donc l'hôtel est au calme. Grande chambre double.

L'eau de la piscine aurait pu être plus claire. La porte de la chambre ferme avec un cadenas ce qui prend plus de temps à barrer à toutes les sorties.

​Breathtaking views and perfect location! The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect, just a few steps away from Sairee Beach. The sea view is incredible, and the sunsets here are truly spectacular. I loved having the pool just a few steps from my room, also overlooking the ocean. The staff is extremely kind and polite, and it’s super convenient that you can rent a scooter directly from the property. A flawless stay!

Gepflegtes Zimmer an guter Lage, schönem Pool mit tollem Ausblick. Sehr freundliches Personal. Kein direkter Meerzugang, aber in wenigen Minuten ist der Strand erreichbar.

Nachts teilweise etwas laut von der Musik in der Umgebung, obwohl es nicht direkt im Zentrum des Geschehens liegt. Abgesehen davon, gab es nichts zu bemängeln.

Estaba sucio Avisamos el primer día de que el suelo del baño y la ducha estaban sucios y nos dijeron que lo solucionarían al día siguiente pero no lo hicieron Había moho en el baño y la pintura se cae a trozos Las almohadas están amarillentas y las toallas tenían manchas raras Además intentaron cobrarnos una tasa por la llave que no estaba incluida en las condiciones. Nos argumentaron que estaba indicado en el chat pero no es vinculante ya que eso figura tras reservar por lo que creemos que intentaron timarnos por si colaba. De verdad no vayáis a este alojamiento.

DD Hut was in such an ideal location an easy walking distance to anywhere you’ll want to go. The pool was absolutely gorgeous with an incredible view over the water. They presented us with a free tray of fresh of fruit when we arrived as well. The aircon and fan in the room both worked amazingly.

The room was a bit tighter but we were in the cheaper 3 person room so that was expected. Be prepared for a short but steep walk from the pier. If you struggle with walking with luggage there are lots of taxis at the pier but otherwise it’s only ~10mins!

Breakfast wasn’t included in our booking. Paid for breakfast first morning and was not impressed. It had all been precooked at the beginning of service and was lukewarm and unappetising later. Didn’t see anyone topping up any of the food. Poorest breakfast we had on our trip.

Me encantó la piscina del hotel (estaba justo en frente de nuestra habitación) las vistas y sobretodo la ubicación a 10 minutos de Sairee y a 10 minutos de nuestro centro de buceo situado justo en una zona tranquila, sin duda repetiremos!!!

The room is very old , it is small. The photos are way better than the actual place. They didn’t clean the room while we are staying although we asked them twice during the day and they kept saying they will come.

This property is located on the Walking Street Road of Tao, close to many restaurants and spa services. It features a sea-facing restaurant and a lovely pool area to relax and unwind. They also provide drop-off services to the pier for return boat rides. The pier is conveniently located at a walkable distance of around 1.2 km from the property.

Only reason not giving this a 10 is because our balcony smelt of food from 2 pm as it is next to the restaurant kitchen. It was unusable from 2 ish as just smelt of cooking oil. We were in the superior, double room with sea view.

The location was perfect for me. Close to the beach but was quiet and felt secluded. Everyone on the property was so kind and helpful without ever disturbing you! My schedule changed every single day, sometimes I was out early morning and back by mid morning other times I slept till noon and somehow the maids always managed to clean the room when I was naturally out of the room. They never bothered me and they thoroughly cleaned the room every day. Impeccable service!

Our bathroom had a drain smell all the time and needs modernising. The grumpy staff member you may read about at the restaurant is harmless, if you go expecting her it’s actually hilarious how indifferent she is. The other staff were all exceptional.

Als we beginnen over hygiene… schimmel dat op t plafond, op de grond in de badkamer, achter het toilet.. vieze vage vlekken in de koelkast. Ook zaten er open stukken bij de ramen waardoor er allemaal muggen binnen zaten. We hebben ons geld terug gevraagd, wilde echt niet blijven. Ze waren wel heel mee denkend en wilde echt een oplossing vinden. We zijn naar een ander hotel gegaan, waar het wel schoon was

Unsere Unterkunft - Appartement 2 - war schlicht abgewohnt, das Bad hatte den Charme der 70iger, das Urinal lag direkt gegenüber vom Waschbecken, es fehlte an Ablageflächen, die Steckdosen funktionierten mal und mal nicht, ärgerlich, wenn man am nächsten Morgen feststellt, dass es wieder einmal nicht der Fall war. Es gab keinerlei Moskitonetze und die Lage direkt gegenüber dem Pool erlaubte den freien Blick in unser Zimmer. Die Matratze war durchgelogen und es war extrem hellhörig. Der Einstieg in den Pool ist ehrlich gesagt eine Katastrophe. Die Frühstücksauswahl war klasse, allerdings nicht wirklich lecker. Wir können all die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen, die Unterkunft ist einfach überteuert.

La beauté du lieu, vue sur la mer de la piscine a débordement. Les couchés de soleil à couper le souffle. La proximité avec la rue centrale, se fait a pied sans problème. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et serviable. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est grandiose.

Manque un petit peu de propreté pour la petite vaisselle mise à disposition dans la chambre mais rien de grave. .

Housekeeping staff was great, very helpful! Rooms were clean. Hotel wasn't far from the City center, but not in the center so we could sleep peacefully

Some staff from the reception were not very smiling. Some staff from the bar/restaurant, specially the older one with long hair looked just annoyed to have customers, not smiling at all + we couldn't charge the room and we had to pay straight away. The youngest restaurant staff was friendly though.

The villa we stayed at had a beautiful view of the beach and pool.

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes, modernes Zimmer. Mit kleiner Terrasse. Das Personal, die Damen an der Rezeption sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns an der Unterkunft einen Roller ausgeliehen, das war perfekt. Guter Preis, moderne Fahrzeuge und gute Tipps vom Verleiher.

Das Restaurant und der Pool in der Anlage hat uns nicht angesprochen. Wir waren lieber am Strand oder an verschiedenen anderen Buchten auf der Insel.

Wish we stayed longer

Great location between Sairee Beach and the pier, was nice to be away from the noise but close enough that everything is a 5-10min walk away. The staff were all wonderful and very helpful. The pool had a beautiful view

We verbleven in een kamer met balkon waarbij we gedeeltelijk zeezicht hadden. De kamers zijn goed ingericht met heerlijke bedden en een uitstekende douche. Het ontbijt restaurant heeft een uitgebreide keuze en erg lekker. Het zwembad is niet erg groot, maar ligt op een mooie locatie, bijvoorbeeld voor de zonsondergang te bekijken. Het hotel ligt op 10 min loopafstand van de pier en dat bespaart je 400 Baht aan taxikosten. Het hotel ligt aan een smalle boulevard met veel restaurants en winkeltjes. We bevelen dit hotel aan bij een verblijf op Koh Tao

Incroyable hôtel ! Une vue sublime , nous avions pris la chambre face a la piscine. La chambre était très propre, et la localisation est parfaite pour aller se promener à pied dans la rue animée du centre ville, la piscine était parfaite egalement

Las vistas de la habitación espectaculares para la puesta de sol. El personal muy amable en todo momento. El desayunto estaba bien. Cómodo y limpio.

El desayuno no estaba muy bien conservado, para mantener el yogur tenian hielo y estabamos a 40º.

L’emplacement, entre le centre Mae Haad et la plage de Sairee pour l’animation. La piscine avec une vue époustouflante sur la baie.

Les équipements sont vieillissants et devraient être changés ou réparés. Infiltration dans notre chambre, il y avait une piscine privée dans la chambre du dessus. Décoration entre rococo et bord de mer , dommage.

Piscine très agréable pour observer le coucher de soleil. La chambre était très spacieuse, l’hôtel est très bien placé car au calme mais proche des zones plus actives!

Les lits sont très durs… la salle de bain assez rustique mais pas de quoi gâcher notre séjour

L’emplacement sur l’île est bien, nous sommes près des lieux de vie sans pour autant être bruyant

Le service de laverie m’a perdu un t-shirt d’une certaine valeur, aucun geste de leur part malgré mes demandes dont l’assistance booking. La fenêtre de la salle de bain ne peut pas être fermé, par temps humide tout les insectes volant rentre dans la salle de bain ( voir photo )

We had a fantastic stay at Dee Dee Hut and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The location was absolutely on point, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything Koh Tao has to offer. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and Pat in particular went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The room was excellent — clean, comfortable, and well maintained — and the view was beautiful. The pool and recreational area were also a highlight and a perfect place to relax after a day out. Honestly, everything about the stay was on point. We would definitely stay here again.

Litet rum. Men otroligt mysigt och välstädat så det gjorde inte så mycket att det var litet. Ingen restaurang under dagen den öppnade först på eftermiddagen.
