Veranda Lodge

This is about our 5th stay at Veranda. We love the rooms, the staff, being right on the beach, the breakfast, you can walk to Market Village and the family atmosphere. It's never too busy.

Dieser Hotel lebt meiner Meinung nach von seiner tollen Lage am Strand, welche auch sehr schön war. Das war letztendlich auch der Grund für meine Verlängerung, weil man etwas Vergleichbares zu diesem Preis schwer bis gar nicht findet. In Summe fand ich dieses Hotel für den Preis ein gutes Angebot. Es hat Flair und bietet jemanden, der nicht unbedingt Luxus braucht, alles Notwendige. Der Night Market ist in ca. 15 - 20 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar und Restaurants, Massagen oder Shops gibt es in 5- 10 Minuten Gehdistanz. Dafür ist der Strand gleich direkt vor der Haustür. Das Doppelzimmer war sauber, hatte eine gute Größe, ein bequemes Bett, eine funktionierende Klimaanlage, Stauraum, ein Sofa und Ruhe. Für mich waren damit die wichtigsten Punkte abgedeckt und die 6 Nächte dort habe icj nicht bereut. Das Frühstück ist klein und einfach, aber ausreichend. Die Früchte waren eindeutig besser und reifer, als im Nobelhotel in Bangkok. Wenn man keinen Luxus braucht, sondern einfach einen netten, aber nicht zwingend perfekten, Ort mit Flair sucht, dann ist man hier gut aufgehoben. Ich würde es jedenfalls wieder buchen.

Eindeutig negativ war der Kaffee beim Frühstück. Den fand ich persönlich untrinkbar. Hier geht man besser ums Eck (über den Strand! ) ins 111 Social House. Das Doppelzimmer und Einrichtung sind etwas abgewohnt (Bett ausgenommen!). Damit muss man sich arrangieren (können). Ich war mir vor der ersten Nacht aufgrund des ersten Eindrucks nicht sicher, ob ich bleiben wollen würde. Ich hab es dann doch getan, weil Preis/Leistung im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften passt und das Zimmer letztendlich sauber war. Diese Entscheidung habe ich nicht bereut und würde definitiv wiederkommen.

Lugar tranquilo en primera linea de playa. Desayuno muy bueno y personal agradable. Tiene un restaurante con horario amplio y vistas al mar. El bungalow es muy confortable.

Todo estuvo bien pero a modo de sugerencia, yo pondría unos visillos en los bungalows para dar un poco de privacidad.

Location, access to the beach. Very close to the Market village mall.

Nothing too much. I was worrying about the water condition of the pool, but I wasn't going to use the pool anyway.

Good location, beachfront but a short walk to shops bars restaurants etc.

The overhanging foliage from the trees, pool side meant leaves were constantly in the swimming pool. The trees could do with trimming.

Dass Frühstück ist verbesserungswürdig. Es ist sauber aber auch hier und dort gehört mal renoviert.

Breakfast was good....althou my girlfriend did only enjoy some of the thai food...i had cooked english breakfast which was good...but could do with more bacon

Da ich nicht der normale „Frühstücker“ bin , kommen wir auch mit weniger Angebot gut klar! Der Strand ist super spitze und kaum zu überbieten. Beim Zimmer würde ich beim nächsten mal ein Zimmer/ Haus ganz vorne nehmen (701/702) . Wir hatten Zimmer 601, was auch OK war! Wir würden wiederkommen!

Die Preise an sich waren etwas gehobener!

Sehr gute Lage. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Frühstück ist gut.

Wie viele Bungalow oder Hotelzimmer etwas abgewohnt und renovierungsbedürftig . Klimaanlage war sehr schlecht.

Die Lage hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir hatten das beste Zimmer des Ressorts.

Das Resort ist ins Alter gekommen. Den Pool haben wir nicht benutzt, da er nicht gepflegt wurde. Ebenso kam uns das Frühstück dürftig vor.

I like the location is excellent, great access to Hua Hin beach, we stayed in the bungalow, the place is very clean and service of staffs is good, staff is very kind and friendly, smiling all times, Peaceful ambiance with the priviate beach that you can chill and relax.

Alt var bare trist på dette hotellet..Over priset og ille..Styr unna dette hotellet.Hadde 5 dagers opphold men ble der 1 natt..

Das Hotel liegt in eine Seitenstraße (Hua Hin 67 Alley) und ist direkt am Strand was nicht üblich ist. Der Strandabschnitt ist sehr schön, ruhig und gepflegt. Auch bei Flut ist noch ausreichend Strand vorhanden um gemütlich auf den Liegen ein Sonnenbad zu nehmen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und sauber. Wir hatten ein Deluxe Doppelzimmer und ein Suite Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett welches miteinander durch Türen verbunden war und zwischen den Zimmer einen Aufenhaltsraum mit Küche hatte. Perfekt für eine vierköpfige Familie. Frühstück gab es im Restaurant am Strand....ein wenig einseitig die Auswahl aber für eine Woche ok.

Die Betten waren extrem hart und man schläft wie auf einem Brett. Für mich persöhnlich zu hart.... Nachts wird man durch die vielen Katzen die es in der Hotelanlage gibt durch deren gejaule öffters mal geweckt. Außerdem war unterhalb unserer Zimmer der Müllplatz weshalb es dann auch Nachts gern mal lauter wurde wenn die Müllabfuhr kam. Am Wochenende kamen viele Gäste, die nicht im Hotel Gast waren und haben die Strandbar "überrannt" und diesen als Selfie-Hotspot genutzt. Es ist eine öffentliche Strandbar welche nicht exklusive für Hotelgäste ist weshalb man sich damit abfinden muss.

At det lå ved stranden. Ellers dårlige sol senger og veldig rotete generelt.

Smilende, hjælpsomt og serviceminded personale modtog os og tog sig af os alle 10 dage.

Staben havde åbenbart overset at de mange katte også har "no 2 efterladenskaber" som blev liggende mellem borde/stole i det udendørs opholdsområde ved strand/pizzaria. Efter jeg gjorde opmærksom blev det bedre.

Lovely

This may not be the most upmarket place in Hua Hin but the rooms were immaculately clean, the staff couldn’t do enough for you, right on the beach which was lovely to walk and swim, loads of free sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach and up in the top bar, nice restaurant with lots of big bean bags everywhere…(pretty expensive but lovely breakfast!) They have a great coffee shop on site that serves excellent brews, and a cute lemonade caravan making really refreshing drinks. Huge bedroom, not a massive bathroom but exceptionally clean all the time! Close to everything in town and the train station

The restaurant was quite expensive and the staff were quite slow but hey, you’re on holiday!! Bed is quite hard but used to that in Asia…lovely pillows though!

ถนนทางเข้าที่พักแคบ มีรถยนต์จอดข้างถนนตลอดเวลา ทำให้ไม่สามารถขับรถสวนกันได้ อีกทั้งที่จอดรถของโรงแรมมีไม่พอสำหรับแขกผู้มาพัก ห้องอาหารมีแมลงวัน และแมลงวันตกใส่ขวด ใส่นมสำหรับเติมกาแฟ

Staff not a friendly as what you would expect more so the afternoon staff beach front restaurant. If you don’t greet them you’re lucky to get a smile. I don’t know this is because the restaurant is open to the public as well. Cleaning of room average. Stained bedding. Bedding very uncomfortable. Breakfast below average. Really lacking variety.

Die Unterkunft lag schön zentral nahe der Hauptstraße, in der Nähe findet man mehrere 7 Eleven, Malls und Nachtmärkte, die fußläufig erreichbar sind. Die Unterkunft selbst liegt direkt am Strand, unser Bungalow lag aber recht versteckt im Innenhof, also sehr ruhig gelegen. Frühstück im Restaurant am Strand haben wir genutzt und genossen, der Kaffee nebenan war köstlich (aber im Vergleich zum Supermarkt natürlich teurer) und am Limonadenstand gibt es leckere Smoothies und Cocktails. Der Bungalow war geräumig, uns hat es sehr gefallen auf "unserer" Terrasse zu sitzen.

Das Bett habe ich persönlich als steinhart empfunden, obwohl ich gerne eine härtere Liegefläche habe, aber da hat man sich am nächsten Morgen richtig auf die kommende Massage gefreut.

Comfortable, clean, great location despite being very dilapidated. Ad is misleading. It is not private beach.

Booked/paid for Verandah On Sea Room 701 for 4 nights in Jan. . Hotel received a DIRECT 10 night booking so decided to move us to another cheaper room 702 not beachfront. They didnt realise we stayed there last year and would know. Not happy! We should be receiving a refund of the difference atleast.

Strändnähe , tolles Frühstück mit sehr schöner Aussicht.

Leider ist die Aussicht von unseren Zimmer zugewachsen.

LOVED my stay here. It's in the perfect location on the beach and quiet but easy to walk into town. There are loads of nooks to sit in the sun or in shade, with drinks and food or just you and your book. It's so easy to sleep because it's so quiet. The iced yuzu Americano is the best in Hua Hin. The pool is cute and the flowers and trees all around are beautiful. The cats are gorgeous and the staff are wonderful - warm and friendly and competent. Loved it here and will be back.

It would have been great to cover the small glass panels to block all light at night.

The only thing good be changed is little glass windows next to bed are bright at night.

Ok, fine, at the beach but outdated. Just ok, nice place but they could go so much more with the location, rooms, restaurant, bar. It wat clean, beds ok, breakfast ok, did not have diner there. Potentially great, but needs some love and attention.

Отличные бунгало с прямым выходом на пляж! Персонал, кафе с утренним кофе и видом на океан, очень зелёная территория. Все было так, как мы ожидали при бронировании. Отличный отель. Однозначно рекомендую и вернемся еще!

Sehr schöne Anlage, direkt am Strand Wir hatten einen Gartenbungalow im ruhigen Innenhof. Alles sauber und komfortabel

Good location, staff are very friendly and helpful, lots of cats roaming the property and our bungalow was excellent.

If you like a firm bed then it might be ok but we found the mattress in our room to be on the extreme side of firm.

Location was excellent once I had upgraded to a beach bungalow. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with enough choice of cooked meals and also buffet. Fantastic view from the restaurant out onto the beach.

Booked a delux room which turned out to be on the fourth floor of an apartment block away from the beach. Payed an extra 500bht per night to upgrade to a beach bungalow Swimming pool was on but small and with no apparent means of disinfection, chlorination etc.

ห้องทานอาหารร้อนไอแดดและแมลงวันเยอะ แต่เข้าใจได้เพราะเป็นห้อง open air คุมลำบากแต่ก็อยากให้แก้ปัญหาตรงนี้หน่อยก็จะดีมาก แต่ถ้าเป็นกลางคืนก็จะเย็นกว่าหน่อยเพราะไม่มีไอแดด

A lovely beach front hotel with stunning views of the spectacular Hua Hin beach, fantastic staff and great facilities. Nice size room with good WiFi, air con and a great shower. Included in our rate was an excellent breakfast. The hotel is situated in a great central location to all the local attractions. Will definitely return...

L'emplacement

C'est vieux, mal entretenu et la piscine est inexistante ( 8x3m) pas nettoyée régulièrement. J'ai fait reprendre le pain rassis du panier au petit-déjeuner sans que le personnel s'en inquiète Il y a 3 Véranda lodge dans le secteur et sur leur site on voit 2 piscines dont une grande qui est à Cha am et non à Hua Hin

All was good!

Super friendly staff who greeted us every time we passed them on site. Facilities were perfect - lovely breakfast each morning and in such a beautiful location (overlooking the quiet beach). Rooms were a good size with balcony so we could dry out swimsuits. Parking and security on site.

Not a fault of the hotel in any way, but be aware of horses on the beach when travelling with young children.

Die Anlage ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen...

1- L'emplacement en bord de mer avec restaurant & bar et des transats 2- la plage, immense, l'eau chaude avec plus ou moins de vagues l'après midi en fonction du vent, et peu de monde qui s'y baigne 3- les services de l'hôtel : amabilité et sourire du personnel, chambre faite tous les jours, serviettes (de plage et de chambre) changées si besoin, bouteilles d'eau mises à disposition avec de quoi se préparer un café, un thé dans la journée ; nous étions dans un bungalow côté jardin, c'était dépaysant : chants des oiseaux (jour et nuit), beaucoup de chats , quelques papillons et écureuils alors que la grande rue était a un pâté de maisons 4- l'emplacement à 10 minutes avec un mall climatisé au sous-sol un food corner pour tout les goûts et surtout pas cher 5- grand marché de nuit à 15 minutes à pied

L'hôtel propose une piscine mais elle n'était pas bien entretenue, c'est dommage. Après je n'y serais pas allée car la mer était à disposition jour et nuit (tellement chaude)

Nära stranden

Inte mycket att välja på frukosten tyvärr och kyckling var nästan rå då vi skulle äta så det kändes negativt, ingen buffé!

Very nice restaurant, pool and outside area with a beautiful ocean view. Room vas also pretty good. Only minus was that we had a lot of ants in our bathroom…
