Wonderful hotel: Large suites (bedroom + kitchen + living room) Very kind and friendly staff Public transportation at very short distance using a shortcut lane Exremely well located downtown with all facilities at walking disrtance Very affordable reates compared to other hotels in the same area I am used to stay at Sabai Sathorn and I highly recommand this hotel
Added an additional night as we enjoyed so much.
Excellent service. The staff are friendly. The rooms are very clean and have the necessary things. Pool area being renovated but still able to use. The hotel offered a free massage as a gift.
Simple accommodation. Excellent location. Quiet pool area. Onsite spa facilities. Safe and secure.
A truly perfect stay! From the very first day, I genuinely felt at home. The staff were simply outstanding – always kind, attentive, and ready to help with any situation. Even at check-in, they solved several issues with great professionalism and a smile. I enjoyed it so much that I actually changed my travel plans just to stay longer. The property is well-maintained, welcoming, and in a fantastic location for exploring the city with ease. This is the kind of place I’d recommend to anyone who wants to experience Bangkok not just as a guest, but as part of a little family. I will definitely be back!
God beliggenhed og venligt personale. Værelset er ikke luksuriøst, men fungerer fint til overnatning. Roomservice hver anden dag. Vi fik lov at bruge poolområdet før check-in. Thai-massage på hotellet er grundig og kan varmt anbefales.
The property was very well staffed and the staff were all very helpful. While the building is older, it is well kept and many components updated.
We had a lovely stay, the staff was friendly and massage place located in hotel was good and affordable. The hotel room is spacious and if you need something, just request it. Close to cosy street with variety of restaurants and streetfood. All sightseeing points are easily reached with a grab car, but bevare of the Bangkok busy traffic which is insane.
C'était un séjour parfait. Personnel ultra sympathique et souriant. Piscine arborée très jolie juste devant la tour ... Très bien placé, seven eleven juste à côté. Très bien placé. Merci pour ce séjour !!! 👍💯
Staff exceptionally friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
The room was clean and the staff were very nice and helpful.
Simple, nice and clean.
It was a budget place, but the price is not that budget. But the room was clean and minimal and fuss free.
Nice central location. The property is a bit dated but still nice and reasonably priced. The apartment we stayed at did not allow for flushing of toilet paper into toilet which was quite inconvenient.
Well maintained
Stayed here for 13 nights as a solo traveller and stayed in a 1 bedroom unit. I had several dental appointments at the nearby hospital, which was nearby and had to spend a fair amount of time in my room. Unit was spcious and clean, bed was comfortable, huge smart TV, very usable kutchen and fast, stable Wifi. Very close to both Chong Nonsi and Saint Louis BTS, with plenty of dining options and two 7-11 a few minutes walk. Staff also very friendly and accommodating. The only negative would be that the shower is unpredictable and it was often a gamble if I was going to get a hot shower or not. Although this was an inconvenience, it in no wah ruined my experience. I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent + convinient
This cute little hotel offers a lot of comfort and convenience for a great price. Friendly and welcoming staff. Cute, tropical front porch area with seating. Convenient little coffee shop right off of lobby with delicious pistachio croissants. Our room was spacious with a small kitchen. The bed was comfy and we slept well. Elevator handy and quick. 7-11 a few steps away. Close access to BTS Sky Train. We loved it here and will return.
Everything here is so nice and chill. Real Sabai. Staff speaks good English and is very helpful and thoughtful.
Near king power tower
Great location and great value
Nice property, a little updated. Nice neighborhood to stay, close to park, away from noise. 30 min on Uber to main attractions.
A lot smaller than I anticipated, but very clean and the staffs were kind. Please keep in mind that there is no hair iron, no conditioner, and the shampoos they had weren’t that great. They had hair dryers
Gteat location, close to BTS, nice helpful staff.
Gran ubicion. El barrio silom nos parecio la mejor opción para hospedarnos y estabamos en lo correcto. Esta en el centro de todo. Con las lineas de Metro cerca. Y muy caminable.
The outside of the property looks a bit dated and ordinary, but the room is very elegant (may have been renovated?). It has kitchen facility, and with bottled water provided. It even has a safe inside.
My stay at Sabai Sathorn was absolutely perfect. The service was tremendous and the room had everything I needed. The room itself was comfortable and spacious. It's in a very safe location and has plenty of options in walking distance. I would also highly recommend getting a massage here, as it was one of the best I've ever received (and super inexpensive). All around, it was great value and I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Bangkok!
I am used now to stay at this hotel and I am always very happy The rooms are large and comfortable, very well equipped. The very friendly staff is always ready to solve quickly any concern you could have during your stay. The location is wonderful, close to BTS staion (walking distance less than 10 minutes). Many restaurants, 7/11 supermarkets are in the neibourhood of the hotel. I highly recommend and will stay there again any time I travel to Bangkok.
Excellent hotel
Clean, basic room but has everything you need
飯店離王權夜景極近,步行可達BTS站,交通方便。房間可免費使用泳池,但房間本身很舊,床單有血跡,品質馬馬虎虎
Enjoyable week. The price was high for the quality but they moved us to a much larger room when we asked. It’s in a great neighborhood, near great restaurants and the Silom food markets.
Great staff, great location. Best matrasses!!! Wonderful place, have been coming back for years. Feels like home. The breakfast Cafe is also very good. I used their massage, and they are very professional. I would recommend this place very highly.
Great staff...more an apartment than hotel. I enjoyed my stay. I will stay again.
Very helpful
Good size room, nice pool, a bit off from resturants and bars. Ower all ok
Good location near MTS station. Helpful staff, clean room. No complaints whatsoever.
Great hotel, big room with kitchen. Gym was under renovation but pool was nice. Cafe/sushi restaurant attached to hotel with lots of places walking distance.
Great budget friendly option for travellers. Easy parking underground and decently clean with all the essentials.
Rudimentary but comfortable!
24 hour checkin as I had a very late flight
Nice budget hotel, pretty old and the hot water had issues on and off. But staff were friendly, although centrally located, getting to train station involved walking narrow roads with motor bikes.
Shower hot water was very weak. Limiting room cleaning to every other day was inconvenient. Great location. decent price.
Great location. Close to metro. Lots of restaurants in walking distance.
숙소 깨끗하고 가격도 저렴하고 마하나콘 바로 옆이라 마지막날 공항가기 전 마하나콘 전망대 투어 등 계획한다면 괜찮은 선택으로 판단됩니다.
I was travelling with my sister and nephew for a weekend break in Bangkok, and an apartment seemed to be the best fit for us. I found Sabai Sathorn serviced apartments mostly by accident on the booking site, but what a find! We arrived half an hour early due to flight timing, and we intended to ask if we couls leave our luggage while we went and had lunch before returning to check in, but the reception staff was so helpful, and she went and checked to make sure the apartment was ready, then proceeded to check us in early. The apartment was nice and clean, and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and my family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment building was within walking distance to a BRT station (Chong Nonsi). There were plenty of places for us to eat (halal food) in the surrounding area and there were 2 7-Elevens nearby that also had some halal food options.
Pretty good overall. Lovely, friendly staff, good location and a decent enough room. However it’s a bit noisy near the hotel at night.
I stayed in Sabai Sathorn in January 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Sabai Sathorn is a serviced apartment and suits anyone wishing to stay long term or prefer the feeling of staying in a small apartment rather than a typical hotel. I used to live in a beautiful apartment in Bangkok many years ago and so I did my best to pretend that my lovely Sabai Sathorn suite was my Bangkok home. The big appeal for me is the whole area of Sathorn and Silom. It’s a fantastic alternative option to the usual Sukhumvit area which although I like, it can become too much often with the traffic, night life and hectic atmosphere. This area certainly has night life and for sure the Bangkok traffic but for sure feels a whole let hectic. The hotel is so close to the Chong Nonsi sky train allowing you to immediately access the transport system and zip around town. In addition, you are a shot walk form St. Louis BTS train station. You are south of the amazing Lumphini Park which is a truly wonderful location to escape the city and enjoy some peace and quiet in a green space. If you are craving some excitement, you are a short walk from the famous Pat Pong night market and the bars should you feel the need for a drink and a little sensual entertainment. You are surrounded by some fantastic architecture and urban views which really shows the development of Bangkok and this is welcome if you are looking to experience all of Thailand. So, a week here can contrast with the beaches of the south or the mountains of the north. The iconic King Power Mahanakhon skyscraper is a must see with its heart stopping glass viewing deck. In addition, the hotel allows you to easily the old quarter of Bangkok very easily and the must-see area of China Town and of course the incredible Chao Phraya River and all that has to offer. So, for me the location of the hotel is wonderful. Right outside Sabai Sathorn you have the option of some truly awesome outdoor street food restaurants offering a great selection of Thai food. There you will mix with both locals and tourists and feel totally connected. But should you prefer a more fancy dining experience you are a one minute walk from some of Bangkok’s best restaurants and bars offering the best cuisine and atmosphere. I would recommend a walk around the immediate streets to locate the fantastic bars restaurants that must be experienced and all right on the doorstep of Sabai Sathorn. There is an excellent roof top pool. Bathed in the hot sun for most of the day and with sufficient easy chairs to grab for a much-needed sunbathing session. The pool is designed well with good décor and even a massage room adjacent. Although I didn’t use the massage facilities, I was informed by a fellow traveler the Thai ladies working there knew their skills. It is essential to have a great pool to cool off after a hot day in the busy dusty Bangkok city. Now the brilliant staff really made the experience memorable for me. Always on hand with the famous Thai smile to help you with all your needs. It was so reassuring to know that the staff could be reliable for any needs you may have. Very charming and polite and all so professional. There is a café and small restaurant on the ground floor and although I did not use either of these they clearly provided a good range of food. As mentioned, the street has numerous great little cafes and street food eateries with incredibly tasty food at an affordable price. So, you are never far from some sustenance. Important to note my room had a whole kitchen and so bringing food in and cooking there is always an option. The room I booked was more than just ‘a room’. It was in fact an apartment and I have lived and worked in Bangkok and so this really felt like my home for the time I was there. Fantastic to close doors, walk around and feel that you are actually in a little home rather than just one single room. If there were more than one of you, you would thus benefit from some privacy and enjoy the ample living room and space. Great TV with Youtube and more of course. There are rooms with better street views and so I would advise going for one of those looking out onto Bangkok. I would have preferred more natural light flooding into my room but I know that’s possible with a room overlooking the streets. My room did not have such a great view. But rooms higher up certainly do and so worth trying to book one of those. Ample cupboard space, comfy bed and of course lovely bathroom with hot shower. I really believe this is one of the best options in this area of Bangkok. The quality of the rooms, the incredible service, affordable rates and amazing location all come together to make this a truly superb option.
Staff very kind
Very tight space in a 2 bedrooms unit but located in the city. Easy to go anywhere with sky train stations nearby. Parking is not so great but it was expected in this area. There are a few steps up to the hotel reception which should be mentioned on the list. We had quite a few so it was a mission to get up and down. Pool is lquite run down with broken trim all around but we had a good dip to freshen up after a long flight. No breakfast but you can find may food stalls around and 7-elen is just around the corner. Staff is great and helpful with directors.
I did not like that there is only cleaning service every 2 days the reciption lady said that they mentioned it in the time we booked the room but it was false. The cafe there has some good food.
Our family had a wonderful stay here. Very convenient with a 5 min walk to the BTS. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Tons of food options nearby. Would definitely come back again.
They were renovating at the time so it wasn't perfect, but staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean with everything needed. Great location too with ready access to BTS. A comfortable and enjoyable start
This is a return stay at Sabai Sathorn. This time round, the rooms are cleaner (housekeepers did a good job) and they are making efforts to upgrade and renovate the rooms. We were assigned a smaller room this time as the usual rooms we stayed were under upgrading works. We enjoy the excellent location and district here. My kids love the bathtub and netflix available on TV. Service at the reception was great as they help to liaise with laundry and my online purchases. There is free parking on the premises which is ideal as we drive a car. However, it would be better without the mosquitoes at the basement. We can’t wait to stay here again in the upgraded rooms when we return.
Good place to stay near Si Lom
Great apartment and the 3 bedrooms was perfect for our family of 4 adults. The room was very comfortable with a kitchen area including full size fridge and they gave us free water bottles every other day when they cleaned the room. The swimming pool on the roof was lovely and also very quiet with sun-beds. The spa was also on the top floor and very reasonable (350 for 1hr Thai or foot massage and 700 for an aromatherapy massage), my mother in law and husband both had a massage without having to book. The coffee shop on the ground floor is convenient and has a small choice for breakfast otherwise there are a few cafes in walking distance. There are 2 7Elevens on the next blocks and Chong Nonsi and Saint Louis stations both within a 10 minute walk.
Great location and value for price.
An Absolutey wonderful stay. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Sky Train line. Getting to the hotel from airport consists of sky train the whole way (2 stops to change in the stations) but can be done within an hour. 1 stop west and you get to the City Express boat down on the river, to tour all temples and palaces etc. Transport was very convenient. The pool facilities are great, clean and very pretty. Lovely views of the skyscrapers surrounding for a city experience. Coffee shop within the complex serves good and cheap coffee’s and snack. Staff were wonderful and very friendly. Thank you all!
Great location (4mn on foot from two BTS stations, 2mn from two 7/11, many restaurants in walking distance), very helpful and friendly staff, and a beautiful view from the rooftop pool (truly the highlight of this hotel). All necessary utensils and accessories are available in the suite, which was clean and tidy, and the kitchen annex was very handy when bringing takeout food late at night. All in all a great experience for the price.
Once more same conclusions: Staff extremely friendly and helpful Large room with very comfortable bed and convenient equipments You can reach the closest BTS station very quickly using a small lane bypassing Mahanakorn tower. Quiet environment in the heart of Bangkok
Anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Bangkok, I highly recommend this place. Extremely friendly staff, very nice rooms, great amenities (rooftop pool was super relaxing), excellent location (near Chang Nosi train stop, and right beside the King Power Mahanakhon Building), with a great price. And the 7-11 is the next street over.
It is conveniently located, and clean. Room configuration is great for larger family. Property is a bit outdated though. The pool area, in particular, is a bit hazardous as it is slippery when wet and with some broken deck boards that are insecure.
noisy
I like giving a really well rounded and detailed review so others have a good idea of what to expect. We stayed at Sabai once for 3 nights in a one bedroom and just over a week later 4 nights in a two bedroom. Our first stay was extremely enjoyable which lead to our second one which wasn't as good. I'll detail below. Check in We had a hard time getting answers from Sabai before our arrival. Specifically requesting assistance in booking a ride from the airport. We did eventually secure transportation (via email) but I do not recommend trying to call or WhatsApp. That got us no where. The service they provided pickup from Bangkok airport and was efficient and satisfactory. Please note, not noted on booking was a ฿500 room deposit. Cash only. It wasn't a problem for us but is worth knowing ahead to be prepared. Room #1 (304) - While this building is older the room was well maintained and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the little amenities provided were a nice bonus. Toothbrushes, ear buds, drinking water, sufficient towels and linens (including nice pillows). There is an inroom safe and the built in furniture was nice. There was a mildew odor faintly but I overlooked it. The dehumidifier on the floor in the bedroom should have been a sign that the room had moisture issues which manifested in a completely soaked floor, bed and clothing one morning when the dehumidifier had filled and quit running. This lead to having to rush dry some clothing items before checking out but overall the room was very good for the price point. Room #2 (407) - This room was less satisfactory. It needed some maintenance in the painting and general upkeep. The couch was horrific. It was a cheap vinyl that was crunchy, noisy and perpetually damp. It had large tears in it with a poor attempt at covering them. I was hoping the addition of the couch would make our party of 3 more comfortable to watch TV but it did not and was actually pretty upsetting (especially considering a significantly higher room rate for this second booking being a 2 bed for what turned out to be an unusable addition). I wish I had said something and requested they adjust the rate or downgrade us back to a 1 bedroom. As we were leaving - new couches were arriving which tells me they were aware that the couches they had in there had major issues. The beds in this unit were NOT comfortable. The mattresses were quite hard. The air conditioning in the main bedroom was noisy and almost intolerable. Also annoying was that all the windows in this unit were covered with a thick frost film which killed any natural light. I'm a light person and I really disliked how dark it made the room. I think there are more long term residents on this floor as there was a lot more noise (like music, visitors, etc) and we were the unfortunate witness to a very violent domestic dispute in the hallway that was very unsettling for myself and my son. I asked a woman who was cleaning to intervene ( to call someone who would) and she dismissed me. Pool The pool area is beautiful with a gorgeous skyline view. The water was crystal clear during both stays and the pool itself is in good condition. My only complaint about the pool area is that the decking is in need of serious maintenance. Like other things in this hotel it's just a bit "too worn". There are uneven and soft boards. Cafe The little cafe and lounge area in the lobby were fantastic and one the highlights for us. We got coffee and little pastries every morning for a very reasonable price. Spa A full 5 stars for all services that our party had. It was EXCELLENT and the pricing was fabulous. ฿300-400 for most one hour services. The ladies there were attentive, skilled and kind. I cannot recommend them more highly. Location Very central and perfect for our visit. There are TWO 711's right outside of the building as well as many restaurants and access to transportation. Laundry facilities were sufficient for our needs and we had no issues Overall, the first stay was so enjoyable that I'm not going to allow the second stay to put me off giving it a third try when I'm back in Bangkok but I felt I way overpaid the second time for a sub par unit. If that were to happen again - I would choose to find a different place.
Negatives: Noisy - Our room was on ground floor. It was very noisy until late night due to people slamming their room doors when entering or leaving the room and also people talking in corridor we can hear them very clearly in our room. Unfriendly staff - staff was not friendly when asked for help. Positive: Excellent location
Amazing place. Comfy, all serviced and a swimming pool, gym and massage parlour in the 9th floor with amazing views. It is well connected with a BTS station 3 mins away and two 7 elevens and good restaurants
This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. This time we had a problem with the light in the apartment and they immediately offered us the possibility of using another room. the hotel is very convenient having the subway 200 meters away
These apartments are great value for money, they are not luxury but if you want luxury you have to pay for it. The apartment is very spacious with numerous places to store your items especially where needed in the bathroom. Some balconies face The Ritz which is pretty close and has noisy a/c , my room 606 is on the opposite side of the building and has pleasant views over the rooftops of the neighbourhood, which is great as I asked for this type of room when booking. Some rooms below this will have very restricted views. These apartments are amazing value for money which is great as I have booked to return in January and March.
Overall is the security and easy accessibility
all good. the friendliest service, very nice massage, most relaxing roof top swimming pool. clean and very good equipment apartment. water in the shower could be warmer blablablablbla.. good street food around 100 meter in the road leading to the house
Really great spot for morning and lunch street food right outside the door. My room was generous in size, but lacking for natural sunlight and had a musty smell. Staff seem nice, but the standard of the room was not ideal.
Nice service apartments in the neighbourhood of Silom. There are plenty of eateries, cafe's within walking distance, two 7-Eleven stores nearby, a rooftop swimming pool, an onsite spa and cafe too. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The best thing about the room is the space- great value for the price. You get a nice, clean room, plenty of storage space, a full kitchen where you are able to cook if you want, a microwave, full sized refrigerator, living room , plenty of table space to do your work, coffee table, bathroom, shower, big TV - most surprising was that they had Netflix available - which was a plus for the days we decided to stay in. Another plus was the good wifi connection - which made it easy for work remotely. This place is good for business travellers, families, couples and solo travellers too. The only improvement I would suggest is that the place is a little worn down and could definitely use a facelift/paint job - apart from that, it's okay.
Amazing hotel in Bangkok. Huge comfortable rooms and great service. Nice coffee shop in lobby. Great neighborhood. Quiet and easy access to everything. Highly recommend this place.
Lovely space, clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool and had a great experience here.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The the television reception was terrible! There were only 4 channels.
Very cheap for what you get, but rooms could do with updating and maybe a coat of paint. Location is great too, just a few mins walk to a BTS station and bars/restaurants in easy walking distance.
Would definitely stay here again close to many BTS easy transit.
Aircondition seems old ... Has a smell of mold ... Room rate high for what you get ... Nice pool on the roof ...
Really nice pool, spacious apartment, close to the skytrain and Maccas and 7 eleven. Helpful staff.
Very comfortable hotel, the staff were very nice and helpful. The location was very handy to transport and all Bangkok highlights
Smelly, old, run down, local thai staff is lazy, moth infested in most rooms, horrible experience. Too pricey for what it is. Used to be a nice place, but to each his own. Backpacker hostels are cleaner than thos hotel. Cleaning every 2nd day only. Disgusting place with clueless thai staff except 2 other nationalities at reception, Maria from the Philippines and man from Cambodia
This is by no means a top flight hotel but the staff are very good, especially on reception. Room was adequate and clean.
great location and staff... near all night diner for walking
Good location, close to BTS. View from windows would have been nice, but windows were frosted glass.
Very clean the staff are friendly and i will recommended to other like friends and colleague
Very clean and the staff are friendly i will choosing to stay and recommended to other
Sabai is a decent budget accommodation with good space, reasonable price, nice pool. But it’s dated and feels more like a budget apartment with mops and buckets in the hallways. I decided to move after two nights mainly because no view and poor WiFi.
Access to transportation. Access to local eateries.
Loved it.
Basic and clean room. Staff are helpful and friendly. Near to BTS.
If you are looking for a low budget appartment (kitchen, fridge,...) well communicated and reasonably OK, this might be your place. Don't expect anything fancy. Just practical. Be aware that the people at the reception may be either very helpful or ignore you completely.
Pretty good thanks, good aircon in bedroom and living, great pool
Friendly and helpful staff. However, property is quite old and WiFi connection was bad.
Fine place, close to BTS
Close to BTS, good location, has good security with guest access only going to the elevator, quiet.and safe, comfortable beds, booked a 1 bedroom with a kitchen which meet our needs as a family, has good.closet space, has washer and dryer on the 9th floor but not very efficient, lots of street food outside the hotel that are good and cheap
Stayed at Sabai Sathorn for a week. It was a pleasant stay here. The room and facilities provided were really good. Some suggestions would be to have face towels in the room and to add advise upon arrival when cleaning takes place.
Excellent value for money. Clean, friendly staff, great location, comfortable rooms, nice pool. It is quite basic, but for that price it is unbeatable. Location is great, a couple of minutes walk from Chong Nonsi, and round the corner from a lot of very nice restaurant options. Only small downside is that kitchen are very basic in terms of cutlery/glasses and not even a bottle opener. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it!
The coin-operated washing machine provided extra convenience, and the staff patiently showed us how to use it. The triple room that we stayed was not big enough to accommodate chairs, we had to sit on the beds or on the floor. The staff members immediately gave us two stools after we told them our need. It demonstrates how helpful the staff is.
First impression first, the staff is polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is only 2-3min walk from Chong Nonsi BTS station, which is rather convenient to go to Jim Thompson Museum, Chao Phraya river (we went to Wat Arun and Wat Pho on this trip), Hua Lamphong train station and generally any BTS station (or Suvarnabhumi airport as well). The place itself is very clean, not noisy at all thanks to double glass windows, the family room accomodates 4 people easily, as advertised on the website. Beds are hard, but not overly hard, hence sleep quality is good. The bathroom (shower) is very clean. The rooftop pool is very enjoyable to start the day, rest after lunch, or in the evening (we tried it at several times of the day). There is no breakfast option but with cups, plates, cuttlery, kettle, table, fridge, tea/coffee and two 7/11s within 50m it is easy to eat a simple breakfast before heading off (which we did). All in all, would be recommend it? Most definitely, and without hesitation. We hope to be back soon. Maybe those who intend to spend most time around Khao San Rd will find it a bit far...
