Die Begrüssung war sehr herzlich und wir fühlten uns Wilkommen. Das Zimmer war Toll und die Hotelanlage läd zur erholung ein.

Die Lage ist traumhaft schön, der Garten ist ein Paradies. Das Frühstück mit der Aussicht war das schönste und beste Frühstück, dass wir erlebt haben. Die Qualität der Produkte war herausragend. Ich habe Zöliakie und bekam glutenfreie, verpackte Kekse, Brot, Muffins etc. Die Allergene waren beim Frühstücksbuffet gut beschriftet und ich fühlte mich auch bezüglich Kreuzkontamination sicher. Das Abendessen war auch glutenfrei möglich, jedoch nur wenige Gerichte an dem Abend, als wir dort essen waren. Das Hotelpersonal ist ausgesprochen herzlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir Bah, der uns beim Frühstück den besten Kaffee servierte und ausgesprochen freundlich war. Susanna hat uns die besten Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Pietro an der Rezeption hat uns auch immer sehr freundlich weitergeholfen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und haben uns entschlossen 2 Nächte länger zu bleiben. Das Ambiente hat einen besonderen Charme, das muss man erlebt haben, das kann man nicht beschreiben, es war noch schöner als erwartet.

La struttura gode di una pace e tranquillità uniche. Molto apprezzati lo spazio esterno e la pulizia degli interni così come la disponibilità del personale. La colazione è stata davvero ottima: varia sia nel dolce che nel salato!

Sehr schönes Hotel, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Tolle Aussicht, die gesamte Anlage total schön gestaltet, es war ein extrem entspannender Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Frühstück außergewöhnlich.

Jammern auf hohem Niveau: Das Bad ist in die Jahre gekommen und es gibt leider keine geschlossene Duschkabine oder zumindest eine Duschwand (ist ungemütlich, und die Überschwemmung ist vorprogrammiert....). Und beim Abendessen gibt es leider kaum ein vegetarisches Angebot, was sehr schade ist.

La struttura merita soprattutto per la posizione e la piscina con vista, immersa nel verde. Anche la colazione è all’altezza di un 4 stelle.

L’edificio esterno meriterebbe più cura, come anche i piani e i servizi igienici al piano terra. La nostra camera con balcone e vista non era consona ad un 4 stelle. I dettagli sono trascurati, le dimensioni non adeguate e andrebbero ristrutturate a partire dal bagno (phon attaccato al muro e porta doccia rotta). La piscina è in una bellissima posizione ma meriterebbe di essere sistemata e rimodernata, a partire dai lettini e dal fondo rovinato. Il servizio bistrot bordo piscina e ristorante hanno prezzi elevati. Folli i 4€ a testa di coperto per tovaglietta di carta e posate nel bistrot. Ti fanno pagare anche l’acqua microfiltrata. In generale il costo del soggiorno è troppo elevato per la qualità e la cura della struttura.

The personal made us feel at home from the first moment: we arrived late, but the room was prepared and we could have some fruits as a late dinner. The room was simple but nice and clean, and we had enough space for us 3. The best part of the stay were breakfasts and dinners: the food in the restaurant is amazing, and so is the service. Wanted to say special thanks to some of the waitresses, who despite of all the load of work, were always very polite and sincerely kind to us. The appetites before the dinners with a view to the sunset were incredible, and many thanks to the lady in the bar!

Would be good to have some drinking water in the room regularly, as the closest supermarket is quite far away. Even an automat where the guests could buy some water at reasonable price would be great.

Sehr schöne Lage, das Hotel lebt von der Aussenanlage. Das Hotel selbst ist ein bisschen aus der Zeit gefallen, aber sehr sehr sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich, das Essen sehr gut.

Praticamente a parte il caffè, mi è piaciuto tantissimo, tutto, personale gentilissimo e sempre a completa disposizione delle esigenze del cliente, colazione direi eccellente come la posizione, una vista stupenda, un parco meraviglioso, lo consiglio e sicuramente ci ritornerò!

We didn’t have a car and it’s expensive getting taxi. And the shuttle was not running when we needed it. Too much fish on the menu for us but we understand it’s a fishy area

Sehr freundliches Personal, besonderes der Schuttle Service zum Strand hat uns sehr positiv überrascht. Pedro (der Fahrer) war sehr hilfreich und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben was wir in Umgebung machen könnten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die gut gepflegte Gartenanlage, sehr ruhig und richtig zum entsprechend.

Das Zimmer könnte ein bisschen bessere Zustand haben. Wir haben mehr erwartet für so ein Hotel (z. B. Der Waschbecken im Bad war gebrochen und nicht ersetzt), vielleicht haben wir das schlechter Zimmer gekriegt.

Gentilezza e disponibilità della responsabile della struttura e di tutto lo staff, panorama, piscina, colazione

La camera assegnata come "struttura abitativa a piano terra" (questa era la descrizione ufficiale) era in realtà una angusta stanza in un semi-interrato con 6 gradini da salire per arrivare al giardino (!!), inaccettabile per il prezzo pagato e per il livello (quattro stelle) della struttura. Inoltre nelle email di conferma era così descritta: "1 Camera Comfort Matrimoniale/Doppia con Letti Singoli con Vista Mare". Giudicate dalla foto che allego, scattata sedendomi sul letto, se si può parlare di "camera con vista mare" e da quella scattata dal giardino quanto fosse interrata la stanza! Non certo "piano terra" e non certo "vista mare". Ritengo che sia stata commessa una grave scorrettezza nella assegnazione della camera, anche se riconosco che poi lo staff si è molto impegnato per cercare di rendere il soggiorno gradevole.

La struttura in sé è molto bella, visuale eccezionale tra le migliori in zona, paesaggio suggestivo, ettari di terra a strapiombo sul mare. Grandi spazi da vivere ed è questo il suo punto di forza. Piscina molto grande ci si sta bene. Colazione molto buona fresca e variegata. Servizio privato navetta gratuito per scendere a Portonovo dove ci sono i lidi.

L’arredamento oramai troppo obsoleto compreso il bagno datato, visto anche i canoni delle altre strutture in zona usufruite. La pulizia delle stanze da rivedere, eviterei di prendere la garden che essendo a piano terra consente facilmente l’ingresso di insetti di diverso tipo.

We had a wonderful, very relaxing time at Hotel Emilia. The property and the ample views around are incredible - from sunrise, sunset, to the rise of the moon, everything's visible and the sea feels right below your feet. The hotel has a lot of charme and history as one of the first and most traditional hotels in Portonovo and we hope that this cultural spirit will be kept with the new owners. The breakfast is simply incredible, a lot to choose from, and the outside terrasse one of the nicest we've ever been to. Nothing at Hotel Emilia feels pretentious, its relaxed, warm-hearted, and sophisticated. Thank you!

Emplacement exceptionnel, vues magnifiques depuis la chambre et les jardins , le calme des jardins , le personnel adorable, restaurant et petit déjeuner superbes La navette gratuite vers la plage est un vrai atout tout comme le gd parking de l’hôtel

La décoration est datée dans les parties communes comme dans les chambres qui sont un peu tristes pour un 4 *.

Ho appena trascorso un fine settimana meraviglioso all’Hotel Emilia, un luogo che ha sempre avuto un posto speciale nel mio cuore, poiché qui ho vissuto la mia prima notte di nozze trent’anni fa. La bellezza dell’hotel e l’atmosfera accogliente mi hanno fatto rivivere ricordi indimenticabili. Il panorama, il tramonto, l’alba! Un luogo incantevole.

Vorrei segnalare un aspetto che potrebbe migliorare l’esperienza per chi ha esigenze alimentari specifiche. Durante la colazione, ho notato che i prodotti senza glutine e senza lattosio non erano esposti. Ho dovuto chiederli, e sarebbe stato utile averli a disposizione in modo visibile. Inoltre, non c’era yogurt senza lattosio, il che è un elemento fondamentale per chi, come me, ha intolleranze. La mancanza di aria condizionata nelle aree sociali, nella hall, corridoio, sala lettura.

Camere comode e ampie, posizione eccezionale. Giardino vista mare bellissimo. Panorama da cartolina. Personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Edificio un po’ datato, andrebbe risistemato in alcune zone. Pranzo eccessivamente costoso rispetto a ciò che abbiamo mangiato.

Location & Cleanliness: Located in a very lovely, scenic area. The entire property was relatively clean. Service: The staff arranged a practical shuttle service to the beach and reserved sunbeds for us, which went smoothly as the beach section previously belonged to the same family who used to own the Hotel. Bonus: We received a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival.

Some parts of the hotel are currently a bit outdated, but we were informed that renovations are planned for at least a few areas in the near future.

From the Moment we arrived the staff was not courteous. They had our 2 rooms the farthest possible away. Two kids in a room so far away from parents. After I called three times and emailed and requested connecting rooms or close to each other. Was told no problem. We showed up and they acted like I was crazy and never called. Even if I had emails and name of person I spoke to. The owner was there and didn’t care to even try to assist. He said he could not bother other clients to assist me. He offered us free rooms and then sent us the bill when he left Not worth the 4 stars. Should not be considered a family friendly hotel. Rooms are so small and they have connecting rooms but don’t want to offer to families. Do not stay here.

Sehr schöne Lage inmitten des Naturschutzgebietes. Shuttle service zum Strand, freundliche Mitarbeiter. Ruhige Umgebung zum Entspannen. Gutes Frühstück mit tollem Ausblick. Besonders schön ist der stilvolle Flair und sanfte Renovierung des alten Hauses.

Alcune parti della struttura completamene obsolete come la piscina, ferma a 20 anni fa da rifare da 0 a partire dalla pavimentazione esterna in cotto completamente dissestata e l’impianto di filtraggio inesistente, diversi cadaveri di insetti erano presenti a fine giornata quando siamo andati a fare il bagno

D'abord un accueil chaleureux avec apéritif. Ensuite, une chambre petite mais avec tout ce qui est prévu dans un 4 étoiles. Enfin, un balcon petit mais avec une vue magnifique et imprenable sur la mer, et sur un jardin qui appelle à la détente. Un généreux petit déjeuner et une bonne table au restaurant. Un hôtel de charme à recommander.

the outside area is amazing the common areas indoor are too basic, it would require a bit of investment for interior decorations that is trying to achieve a certain look but not really achieving it

Camera fronte giardino con poca Privacy e purtroppo l'esterno della camera era comune con il giardino della struttura. Camera non grandissima. Materasso troppo molle e cuscini troppo molli.

La struttura è in un posto incantevole con una vista mozzafiato. La gentilezza e professionalità dell'intero staff ha reso il nostro soggiorno perfetto.

Come sempre, da anni io e la mia famiglia “evadiamo” durante l’estate per qualche breve weekend, la struttura è ideale per giornate di relax. Posizione, servizi ed ambiente sono senz’altro degni di nota.

Dispiace che un cliente, peraltro pseudo-abituale, venga considerato cosi poco in fase di check-in e check-out. All’arrivo infatti, nonostante le telefonate intercorse tra lo staff della mia struttura e quello dell’hotel Emilia, mi è stato comunicato che avrei dovuto fare out/in in una nuova stanza poiché impossibile gestire le due prenotazioni separate; poco male, ma non posso farlo io e non il personale. In fase di partenza, nonostante la fee per il late check-out (che nelle strutture di mezzo mondo che visito frequentemente per lavoro non è mai prima delle 15:00) alle 13:20 dopo chiamate e solleciti bussando insistentemente alla porta, abbiamo terminato rivestendoci nel corridoio tra i complain delle donne di servizio ai piani. Beh, non di certo il modo ideale per concludere un weekend di riposo, e non certo un bel ricordo finale. Ne io ne la mia ragazza, seppur abituati a viaggiare seguendo le 24 tappe annuali dei calendari di Formula 1 e dei campionati GT, avevamo mai vissuto un’esperienza simile. Peccato.
