St Christopher's Barcelona

Le responsable de l’endroit m’a dit que je pouvais réserver seulement un lit et que je ne pouvais pas réserver pour mon ami. Je lui ai dit que j’avais pourtant payé pour trois lits. Il m’a répondu de contacter la compagnie afin qu’ils puissent régler le problème et effectuer le remboursement. J’ai payer 119 € !!!!!

Franchement, un sans-faute du début à la fin ! Accueil au top, service irréprochable et un emplacement rêvé : on est vraiment à côté de tout. Si c'était à refaire, je le referais sans hésiter une seule seconde. Vous pouvez y aller en toute confiance !

Location was great, right next to plaça Catalunya. Metro stations, airport shuttles, and even some of the most visited areas are pretty close. It takes a few minutes to Barcelona cathedral and gothic quarter in general. I also went to the beach and other parts of the city with a bus, and there are closebuy bus stations that give you a lot of flexibility. At the time there was construction, and even national day of Catalunya, when I was staying there, but noise isolation is nice. I coudn't hear a thing. Also, as I stayed on the 5th floor, I couldn't hear the semi-part noises coming from downstairs (there is some activity on 0 floor). So, 5th floor is highly recommended. There are also a lot of shops and cloth boutiques next to the place and plaça, if you like to shop. The rooms were clean, as were the amenities in general. I didn't use showers because of a specific smell they had, but everyone else was using it, and it all worked. Air conditioning was good (I was on the last, 5th floor, girls only room). Reception was always avaialble, which was good. Beds were comfy and cleaned every day. There are towels available to borrow for a price. There is water you can buy downstairs (but it's a bit overpriced so you can just walk half a minute on the smae street, and get it from a market).

The underbed drawers didn't have locks. So, if you're not planning to use the lockers on the 1st floor, which is actually a bit of a struggle to always go down and up to take things, you need to bring a lock (not a really small one, at least a medium size), to use and lock your stuff in the room. I tried to change my bed, to just be close to my friend, on the first day while checking in and on the second day as well, but althought the bed was available, they didn't let me because of some technical scheduling thing. So, be aware of it. Also, keep in mind about Barcelona's city tax. When I paid online, it didn't take the city tax from me, so I paid when I arrived. Depending on the number of days you are staying, the number will be different.

Ça serait bien de rajouter des crochets dans la salle de bain pour mettre nos affaires avant et après la douche 😊 car aucun endroit pour mettre notre serviette de bain et nos vêtements.

A minha experiência neste hostel em Barcelona foi excelente! ❤️ A localização é simplesmente perfeita, mesmo no centro de Barcelona, o que facilitou imenso conhecer a cidade e visitar os principais pontos turísticos. A limpeza também merece muitos elogios: tudo muito limpo, organizado e cuidado.

O único ponto que achei que poderia melhorar foi o pequeno-almoço, que achei um pouco simples e com pouca variedade. Apesar disso, voltaria sem pensar duas vezes — aliás, voltaria mil vezes! 😍 Amei o hostel e recomendo muito para quem procura um lugar bem localizado, limpo e confortável em Barcelona.

Das Frühstück hat für den günstigen Preis von 7 € wirklich alles inklu was man braucht. Schon alleine der Kaffee wars wert! Der war echt gut! Dazu versch. Säfte zur Auswahl, einige Wurstsorten, Schnittkäse, Marmelade, drei versch. Brotsorten und frische Früchte, Tomaten & Gurken... was will man mehr?! Wunderbar! Das einzige was das Frühstücken für mich noch schöner gemacht hätte, wäre eine Möglichkeit zum Draußensitzen gewesen. Das ging leider nicht. Aber auch drinnen war es bequem und gemütlich. Die Zimmer waren auch okay, die Vorhänge vor den Betten geben einem wirklich das Gefühl von Privatsphäre. Die Türen sind schwer und sicher und man muss dort keine Angst haben vor ungebetenen Gästen im Zimmer. Der Frauenflur ist absolut sicher und geschützt da man für jede Türe ne Zugangskarte benutzen muss. Die Betten sahen sauber aus. Ich konnte recht gut schlafen. Das Personal ist wirklich ausnahmslos super nett und hilfsbereit.

Auch wenn alles sehr sauber aussah, so habe ich leider in den Duschräumen und Toilettenbereichen und leider auch im Bett immer einen leichten Uringeruch bemerkt. Ich glaube schon, dass alles geputzt und gewaschen war, aber den Geruch kriegt man wahrscheinlich aus den Matratzen sehr schwer wieder raus, wenn er erst mal drin ist und man kann ja auch nicht nach jedem Gast die Matratze wechseln und ich habe halt leider auch ein sehr sehr feines Näschen und rieche sowas sofort. Das hat mich schon etwas gestört. Und in einer Dusche (die letzte hinten mit etwas mehr Platz) da stimmt irgendwas mit dem Duschkopf nicht. Der ist ganz schief und es tropft nur ganz schwach raus. Das müsste repariert werden. Aber es waren ja genug andere Duschen da, also kein Weltuntergang. Ein paar Ablege-/Abstellflächen im Klo und im Duschbereich wären noch super! Es gibt zwar Hacken aber es gibt in der Dusche nur 1 kurzes Ablagebrett so weit oben, dass man kaum rauf sehen kann. Wenn man die Waschtasche und frische Klamotten und Handtuch ablegen muss, wirds zu eng. Nächstes Mal würde ich auf jeden Fall die Angebote vom Hostel wie "Welcome-Drink" und "gemeinsame Stadtführung" nutzen, denn auf eigene Faust konnte ich leider keine Kontakte knüpfen. Im Zimmer war alles sehr anonym, bedingt durch die Vorhänge am Bett, was einerseits schön ist, aber man weiß auch nie, ob überhaupt Jemand da ist oder nicht... das hatte ich mir etwas anders (offener/kontaktfreudiger) vorgestellt. Aber ich war zum 1. Mal überhaupt in einem Hostel, womöglich ist das auch normal?!

The location was the highlight. It was very central, with plenty of restaurants, coffee ships, and attractions within walking distance. It was also easy to get around and explore the city from the hostel.

The reception service was extremely disappointing. We waited about 30 minutes while one staff member handled another customer, while the other workers completely ignored the growing line instead of helping. After a long day of travel, this was incredibly frustrating and made the check-in experience unnecessarily stressful.

Wasn’t the cleanest. Cleaners did come in everyday but not properly clean the bathrooms in the room I was in, maybe it was just the people I was shared with who was messy and dirty?

The location was super handy, most things were a good 10-20 mintute walk from the beach and other sites across Barca. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly and rooms were too.

Duschen haben etwas gestunken und in zwei von drei Nächten meines Aufenthalts habe ich Männer im “Quiet” Schlafsaal masturbieren hören… das Personal hat darauf hin allerdings aktiv gehandelt, mir ein neues Zimmer angeboten und die Person mit Security konfrontiert.

The location, size of the hostel, everything was perfect. They had great bar, activities to meet other travelers. Very close to the metro & bus station.

Problems I faced were- The room felt little outdated, the kitchen area has lots of thing missing, the socket for my charger did not work. They really charged a lot as taxes :( I now have to write back for a refund which they took for card mis-placement.

It was so nice compared to another st Christoper’s I stayed in in Paris so I had low expectations coming here but it was a lot nicer. Kitchen was good and the balcony was nice but they lock them at 5pm. Bed super comfy. Super well located.

Super super long waits for the bathrooms in the rooms. There was another shower but it had no doors so in a room for 16 people it was one bathroom so at night you could be waiting an hour for the bathroom. Also while I was there a lot of food was being stolen in the fridge. They have an outdoor area to hang out wet clothes and someone took my clothes off the clothing line that weren’t even dry and threw them on a random chair when you can’t even get into this area without a staff.

It was in the middle of the city and also it was very affordable clean and I really like how they included travelers from all over and created event events for all of us to connect

Everything was great

The location is excellent . Covers a lot of sights to see around the area. I had a lovely stay for 2nights. The staff was super helpful when my padlock got stuck. Really appreciated all the staff at the reception very kind and helpful.

The whole building smelled like sewage, especially the hallways. The floor in the shower was peeling up and was unsanitary. The bathrooms were uncomfortably small, often out of toilet paper, and the lights would turn off leaving you in the dark after just 30 seconds. The beds were creaky and didn't feel safe, any movement from your bunkmate would be felt in your bed.

Es mi segunda vez en el alojamiento,ubicación es perfecta, cerca de restaurantes, metros , tiendas, bares ósea en el corazón de bcn , A parte eso el hecho de poder dejar las maletas en locker , “privado” en caso que quieras dejas algo de valor con mas seguridad, pagas con algunas monedas, me pareció muy justo el precio , y puedes dejar tus pertenencias con más seguridad en un habitante con cameras,

Lo que me molesto un poco, fue la gente que me tocó la segunda vez que me hospedé, creo que deberían filtrar un poquito más los huéspedes, Pero sé que en esto el alojamiento no tiene mucho que hacer , es question de suerte, la primera vez me tocó gente limpia y respetuosa, y la segunda vez, no tanto

Nos quedamos con una amiga dos noches, en dormitorio femenino de 8 camas. Me encantó que estaba súper limpio, el baño lo teníamos muy cerca, tiene cortina cada cama, el aire acondicionado funcionaba perfecto y por suerte las otras chicas que durmieron en el dormitorio siempre fueron educadas y no hicieron ruidos molestos, pudimos dormir muy muy bien.

Fuimos temprano a dejar nuestras mochilas, y nos dieron 2 tarjetas. No nos comentaron que debíamos activarlas. Al volver por la tarde y querer ingresar al dormitorio obviamente la tarjeta no funcionaba y bajamos a consultar y la chica ( distinta a la que nos dió las tarjetas) no fue amable, se enojo porque no pedimos activarla, pero no lo sabíamos. Mala actitud y no se tomó ni el tiempo de mirarnos la cara. El resto del personal muy bien 🫶

It's 1 min walk from Placa Catalunya & La Ramblas. Barely 5 mins away from Gothic Quarter. The beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are clean. Hot water available 24h. Staff is very friendly. They have lockers available at cost if you wanna store luggage. Wifi was also good.

One guy at the reception was rude and he doesn’t have understanding (I was getting late for a plane and he was talking to someone and than was rude to me). The room doesn’t have a mirror and the window doesn’t open.

La señalización. Está todo en inglés (no español) y no está claro. Debería haber más señalizacion y con símbolos graficos internacionales.

A localização do hostel é ótima, do lado do metrô, de muitas atrações turísticas, lojas e restaurantes que você consegue ir andando. O quarto era confortável, com um ar condicionado central e temperatura confortável, visto que estava muito calor em Barcelona, também possui um bom espaço de armazenamento, uma varanda com mesa e cadeiras e o banheiro com dois chuveiros foi ok.

Assim que cheguei já precisei gastar 5 Euros com um cadeado porque o meu não coube no fechamento do locker, acredito que poderia ter um alerta sobre a necessidade de um cadeado maior. O secador de cabelo parou de funcionar depois de alguns minutos usando, acredito que tem limite de tempo para usar, mas o meu cabelo é grande e tinha necessidade de mais tempo de uso. Além disso, quando estava secando o cabelo a equipe de limpeza chegou, tentei gentilmente conversar com a que parecia chefe da equipe perguntando se eu podia permanecer no local, e a mesma foi bem grosseira comigo.

Schlechte Lüftung (AC). Komischer Geruch im Zimmer. Ich musste das Hostel nach der Ersten Nacht frühzeitig verlassen, da ich wegen der Klimaanlage gesundheitliche Probleme bekommen hatte. Leider ist das Hostel nicht für Asthmatiker geeignet.

A estrutura do St Christopher´s Inn é excelente, contando com espaços de convivência, cozinha muito bem equipada, banheiros compartilhados e um sistema de segurança ótimo. Para acessar os espaços do hostel é preciso utilizar o cartão de hóspede a fim de evitar qualquer incidente com pessoas que não estão hospedadas. Além disso, o hostel promove diversos eventos sociais todos os dias para facilitar a integração dos hóspedes e, para mim, esse foi o ponto alto desse lugar. Conhecer novas pessoas e fazer amigos de todas as partes do mundo é uma oportunidade única e muito marcante! Os banheiros são separados em banheiros para banho e banheiros apenas com sanitários e todos possuem diversas cabines individuais com estrutura adequada para apoiar itens de higiene pessoal e pendurar toalhas, roupas etc. Os quartos são equipados com beliches e todas possuem gavetas individuais para o armazenamento de bagagens embaixo da beliche de baixo. Todas as camas com tomada, prateleira, cortina e luminária próprias. Ambiente climatizado por ar condicionado central. Janelas amplas e bastante luz natural durante todo o dia. Quarto excelente de 8 camas (4 beliches) exclusivo para mulheres. Muito bem localizado, com uma parada de ônibus à 1 minuto de distância e diversas estações de metrô ao redor (1 minuto, 7 minutos, 10 minutos).

Os boxes dos banheiros tinham um cheiro forte, acredito que devido ao acúmulo de resíduos provenientes do banho. Talvez uma limpeza mais reforçada nessa área seja interessante.

Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Le camere pulite e con aria condizionata e presa personale, molto comodo. Inoltre i bagni puliti e funzionali.

Trotz meiner Buchung eines ruhigen Zimmers war das Geräusch des Klimaanlagenmotors sehr laut. Außerdem hat der Gast im unteren Bett die ganze Nacht über stark geschnarcht. Bei Zimmern, die als ruhig und besonders für geräuschempfindliche Gäste geeignet beworben werden, sollte man die Gäste vor der Zimmerzuteilung entsprechend berücksichtigen bzw. nachfragen.

Мошенники. Было забронировано 2 комнаты, приехали в 23.00, одну комнату открыли - ок, пошли с дочерью искать её комнату, открываем, а там мужик с кровати встаёт. Подумали может ошибка и открыли другую комнату- там запах фууу и вещи разбросаны. Хозяин на связь не вышел. Booking проблему не решил, закрыл чат в связи с не активностью.

Le soir il y a une discothèque collé a l'entrée de l'hôtel donc ont est obligé de ce faufiler entre les fêtards pour pouvoir rentrer a l'intérieur de l'hôtel et un peu le bruit dans la rue mais sinon c'est très correct

The place is just incredible, next to the Rambla and in the city center. Everything was great and i am happy of my stay. The restaurant is also very nice, and they have the best smashburger in town. The vibe was incredible during the world cup. The personnel is very dédicated and is always ready to help. (when i didn't had my bike lock, the team watched my bike for a coupe minutes)

Luise made us have the best time at the Hostel. She was really welcoming at the free Drinks Event and made us have a great Night out

Ubytování je v centru, kousek od zastávky autobusu přímo na letiště. Hostel pořádá vlastní aktivity, díky kterým je možné seznámit se s místní kulturou i dalšími hosty.

Po příjezdu ve dvě hodiny ráno mi bylo na recepci oznámeno, že nefunguje systém, proto nelze udělat check-in a musím počkat ve společenské místnosti. Chápu, že se to může stát, personál se však ani jednou neomluvil, nedal nám k ubytování ani k čekání žádné instrukce (na místo snídaně, wifi, toalety a kartičku do pokoje jsem se musela zeptat sama). Až na můj dotaz, jak se tedy dostanu do pokoje, když jsem kvůli výpadku systému nedostala vstupní kartu, mi bylo odpovězeno, že si mám do dveří dát botu. 🙂 Nakonec jsem dostala číslo postele, na které však již někdo spal, takže jsem musela celý proces opakovat. Rozumím, že může dojít k výpadku systému, očekávala bych však ochotnější a proškolenější personál.

Adorei tanta coisa! Localização, interação social, instalações, a cortina das camas, o box de quardar malas embaixo das camas. O hostel é muito bem equipado. Fiz vários amigos! Instalações da cozinha são boas tb.

Fui surpreendida por uma taxa de hospedagem que é obrigatória na Europa, mas ninguém me avisou antes, fui pega de surpresa. E a diária na Espanha foi a maior de todas. As vezes de madrugada os banheiros estavam cheirando um pouco mal, mas no primeiro horário da manhã alguém aparecia pra limpar. Pude deixar a mala lá depois do check out num locker, mas era pago.

El mejor en Barcelona. Está muy cerca de todo, cómodo para llegar del aeropuerto con el metro y con el autobús. El estaff es muy amable y hay bastante duchas y baños. Muy buena la habitación silencio si quieres descansar tranquilo.

Lo mejor es la ubicación. El personal es MUY amable. Y tiene que lidiar con muchos jóvenes no tan educados, aun asi, no pierden la cordialidad. La recepción es 24 hs (deberían corregir esa información en booking). El lugar es amplio y cómodo. Cumple con las expectativas.

The location is a short block from Plaça de Catalunya, the center of Barcelona. The downstairs bar is lively. Many younger travelers here. The bunk bed was very comfortable, with an ample storage locker beneath. The bathrooms and showers were cleaned daily. The common area was a much-appreciated 24-hour chill-out space, but as expected, the communal kitchen area needed some attention. There are laundry facilities on-site. The breakfast was more than adequate with meat, bread, cereals, juices, fruit, two espresso coffee machines, and a sandwich grill. Security is very good. The front desk is staffed 24/7. Supplies and drinks are sold on-site. Towel rental is €5.

The showers were well-worn but functional with adequate hot water and pressure; the nearby bathroom sink counters were always wet.

The hostel was a great place to stay. Our room was clean, the bathrooms were clean and it felt very safe as a solo female traveller.

My critiques are small and fairly insignificant- the elevator didn’t work so getting up to the sixth floor wasn’t easy with our bags. The second thing is that there was no air conditioning in the room and the door to the balcony got locked during the afternoon. It made the room very hot especially during the summer heatwaves.

Dans une chambre "quiet-bedroom" choisie exprès, certaines personnes n'ont apparemment pas compris ou pas voulu comprendre le principe et ont été extrêmement bruyantes à 2h du matin : claquement des valises, téléphone, discussion... Un manque d'éducation...
