La limpieza de los baños malo y tampoco suficiente agua para ducharse, tampoco tienen alguna máquina para venta de agua, te recomiendan ir a tomarlo a la cocina, debo decir que el agua de Barcelona tiene mucha cal.

Amazing stay for my first time in Barcelona!"It was my first time in Barcelona, and my very first hostel experience was at Sant Jordi Hostels Rock Palace.The location is excellent—just a 10-minute walk to Plaça de Catalunya, which makes it super easy to navigate the entire city from there. The staff are incredibly friendly, working like ants at the front desk 24/7. A huge plus is the hostel's organization of nightly club outings, giving guests free entry to clubs—what an incredible opportunity!The hostel is also perfect for meeting people from all corners of the world. I met travelers from the USA, Latin America (Chile, Colombia), Australia, China, Malaysia, the UK, and Germany. I was actually the only one there from Kyrgyzstan! Everyone was so kind and positive. A special shoutout to a staff member named Adem—he is an awesome guy with a great sense of humor.The only downsides were the amenities and extra fees. In other countries like the UK, Germany, Turkey, and Kyrgyzstan, hostels usually provide free towels, slippers, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here in Spain. Also, I had never encountered a tourist tax anywhere else, but here I had to pay €6.99 per day, which added up to around €19 for 3 days—it's still an extra expense.Other than that, everything was absolutely great! Highly recommended.

Cons:No privacy curtains on the beds. In a mixed dorm, curtains are absolutely essential for a basic sense of personal space.No access to the window. Because of this, a room shared by about 14 people gets incredibly stuffy and develops an unpleasant smell during the day.Noise at night. The lack of privacy makes the noise even more disruptive. For example, some girls were doing their makeup and making noise until 3 AM.No place to dry clothes.or i didn’t see.

Q no hubiese baño dentro de la habitación , q el aire acondicionado lo pusieron muy fuerte por la noche y no lo podíamos gestionar desde dentro de la habitación, y q además me cobrasen 40 euros de fianza y 26 de impuesto de turista . Esto en ningún hotel de los muchos q he estado me había pasado solo aquí en Barcelona.Centrico pero no lo recomendaría.

Normalde çok korkarak gelmiştim ilk kez hostel deneyimimdi ama çalışanların ilgisi ve alakası sanki yıllardır oradaymışım hissiyatı vardı. Tekrar gelsem yine oraya giderim. Özellikle Adam Beyin sıcakkanlı ve güleryüzü çok hoşuma gitti. Tam bir fiyat performans ve bence de yatak ve ortak alan wc/duş temizdi. Zaten genç kesim var. Yalnız gittim hiç sıkılmadım. Gayet güzel bir deneyimdi.

Las instalaciones son como una mini ciudad dentro de un hostel. Todo el staff desde Pol, Paola, Adam, Valentina… super amables, atentos a todo lo que necesitaras… no puedo decir nada malo

Sant Jordi Rock Palace is a really good hostel overall. The location is probably one of the best parts very central and easy to get almost everywhere in Barcelona. The hostel itself is comfortable, clean, stylish and has a nice atmosphere. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Adam, who was great throughout my stay.

Unfortunately, the checkout experience left a bad impression at the end. I was running late because of unexpected circumstances and still had a few things to pack. I completely understand that checkout times need to be respected, but I felt the situation could have been handled in a more professional and helpful way. There was a €10 cash key deposit and Gaia told me she would not return it because I was late. I said that was fine if it was considered a charge, but I asked for a receipt and was told that wasn’t possible. I also offered to pay for another night, but the hostel was fully booked. Another staff member was willing to return the deposit, while Gaia was strongly against it. In the end, the other staff member gave the €10 back and I left. It was disappointing because the rest of my stay was genuinely very good. This is a well-known international hostel and I think situations like this should be handled with a little more professionalism and better communication.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tuve una excelente experiencia en Barcelona. Rocío, que trabaja en el pub crawl, fue súper amable y atenta desde el primer momento. Siempre tuvo muy buena disposición y ayudó a que la experiencia fuera mucho más agradable. Además, el Hostel Sant Jordi me pareció muy cómodo, con un ambiente muy bueno y una atención excelente. Sin duda, una experiencia que repetiría y recomendaría.

El dormitorio no tenía aire acondicionado, y las ventanas solo se podían abrir si pedías la manilla en recepción por lo que el aire en el dormitorio se encerraba asquerosamente , favor considerar la ventilación.

The hostel's location was great, the breakfasts were good, and the free entry to the club was cool and Bathroom and restroom are clean.

The beds didn't have curtains, the bathroom lights would sometimes go out while I was in the shower, there were no showerheads, the elevator was terribly slow, and the front desk staff wasn't very welcoming

Ola de calor de 40 grados y no tienen aires en ningun lado salvo la habitación pero OJO lo apagan cada 4 mnts y tenes que ir a recepción con el UNICO ascensor que hay que tarda mil años a pedir que lo prendan. Te apagan las luces a cierta hora y estás obligado a no ver, no las vuelven a prender hasta las 10 am (quise hacer mi valija 9 am y fue imposible). Las ventanas si las abris se corta el aire y para abrirlas tenes que pedir UNA MANIJA EN RECEPCION…. El pasillo los baños son un sauna del calor que hace es imposible estar Las camas no tienen privacidad Los lockers no entran los carry on salvo una mochila Un desastre No volveria

La ubicación y el personal muy amable

La gente entraba y salía en la noche , varias veces en la noche , entonces aveces dificultaba dormir .

la ubicación es buena, la estación de metro no esta lejos, el personal es amable, mi estancia en general fue buena, el cuarto estaba bien acondicionado para el calor que hacia afuera

El personal de recepción fue muy amable todo el tiempo. Nos permitieron utilizar las instalaciones luego del horario de check out y dejar las pertenencias. La ubicación es muy buena, el desayuno bastante completo.

Sería muy bueno que en las camas pongan cortinas o algo para dar major privacidad.

Lo único que no pude controlar fue los visitantes de USA que tumbaron cerveza en la madrugada, en una próxima estadía elegiría menos acompañantes

Muy cómodo y limpio. Las instalaciones está en buenas condiciones, muy tranquilo para dormir. Los casilleros para guardar las cosas de valor funcionaban muy bien con la tarjeta.

Nos gustó. Muy buena atención de los chicos en la recepción, la mejor onda y tratando de resolver cualquier inconveniente. La ubicación también es buena.

Que no había shower gel en las duchas. Y la música estaba bastante fuerte y molestaba en la cocina, aunque a las 23 hs se terminaba.

All the facilities were clean the people in recepiton and the animation crew (special thanks to zac and llambri) were helpful and warmblooded.

As meninas no qual dividi o quarto eram muito tranquilas, não fizeram barulho, respeitando as demais. Hostel bem localizado, funcionários muito atenciosos.

O quarto tinha ar condicionado, mas os outros ambientes eram muito quentes.

In contrast to the manager, the reception team was truly friendly and willing to help. They were the only positive aspect of an otherwise very dirty and unpleasant place.

I would not recommend staying at this hostel. The biggest issue was the management. The manager came across as rude and unprofessional on more than one occasion, and whenever I raised concerns, they were dismissed rather than addressed. The rest of the staff, on the other hand, were polite, helpful, and clearly tried their best despite the situation. Cleanliness was extremely disappointing. The bathrooms, dormitories, showers, and kitchen were consistently dirty, even immediately after they had supposedly been cleaned, making the cleaning seem rushed and ineffective. The table in the common area was constantly sticky and looked as though it had not been properly cleaned for a long time. The bathroom facilities were also inadequate. Each floor had only one men's toilet and two women's toilets, meaning there was almost always someone waiting outside. Although there were three showers available, it was common for only one or two to be functioning. Another frustrating aspect was that every afternoon the staff locked the dormitory window, which felt unnecessary and overly restrictive. In addition, the lights were controlled entirely by an automatic timer with no manual switch, leaving guests with no control over the lighting, even in private rooms. The rooftop pool had to remain closed for two consecutive days due to contaminated water and a bacterial problem, which raised serious concerns about the overall maintenance and hygiene standards. Overall, my experience was very disappointing. Between the poor level of cleanliness, inadequate facilities, and management's unwillingness to respond constructively to guest feedback, I cannot recommend this hostel.

Unlike the manager, the reception staff were genuinely kind and helpful, that's the one thing worth saving about this horrible dirty place.

Terrible experience, I would not recommend this hostel The manager was rude and dismissive on several occasions, she never took responsibility for the problems I reported. The staff members were fine and did their best, the real issue is management. Cleanliness was by far the worst part. Bathrooms, dorms, showers and kitchen were dirty at all times, even right after cleaning was done, which felt very superficial. The table in the common area looked like it had never been cleaned, sticky residue all over it. Bathroom situation was also a real problem. Each floor has only one toilet for men and two for women, so if you're inside someone will knock on the door every minute. There were three showers but usually only one or two actually worked. Every afternoon staff would come and lock the window in the dorm, which felt controlling and unnecessary, almost like being in a prison. The lights are on an automatic timer with no manual switch, so even if you book a private room you have zero control over turning them on or off. The rooftop pool was closed for two full days because of dirty water and a bacteria issue, which honestly says a lot about how this place is run. Overall, this hostel fails on almost every level. Poor hygiene, poor facilities, and a management lady that does not listen to guests.
