There are so many things to do in the resort that we were never bored. The breakfast buffet included in our stay was delicious and we liked that they changed up the menu everyday. The sand bar is also a fun little adventure offered by the resort. The sand bar staff, Noel, Randy, Omar, and Christopher, were top notch! Noel is such a great photographer!

The location is quite far from everything, but I understand that it's part of the allure.

Everything was good, excellent food, service, entertainment and facilities. Some food options might be a bit expensive compared to other options in the Philippines.

I like that there were little carts that could take you across the vast property. Massages were well priced. Room is spacious

If you have kids, they will LOVE Astoria Palawan especially the gigantic Water Park, the Games Room (with Play Station, KTV, Table Tennis, Billiards, Board Games, and more) and all the fun activities (ATVs, Bicycles, Volleyball, Badminton, Mini Golf, Kids playground, etc). They have a nightly fire show and acoustic music alongside a luxurious Dinner Buffet with dishes from around the world. They also have a shuttle from the airport directly to the hotel and back. Plus, delicious Welcome Drinks and super friendly Staff Members. Great option for families!!

Comfortable resort - plenty to do. Waterpark is great fun. Accomodation is everything you need. Friendly staff.

Location - 1.5 hours from Puerto Princesa however the Astoria offers a transit service from airport.

Great facilities, including water park and gym. Great rooms (real European 4*), multiple restaurants options, great nature location, friendly staff.

Excessive prices in restaurant (not PH prices, but European), and in general any extra prices (e.g. massages).

Food, room and other staff services

The offering/discussion of membership by the staff immediately after a tiring travel to the hotel, maybe it could be given to every customer by means of pamphlets with all the information and processes of membership.

Chaotic check in and check out, strange policy at dinner - we came and wanted to do a la carte instead of buffet and we wanted to sit outdoor. Since nobody I attended to us I walked to reception and asked if we could get the menu. The lady said there were not serving outdoors as there was a chance of rain. I said I could take the risk and if it rains I would move indoor. Sounds all good. After 5 minutes nobody was coming. I walked back again to reception and she told me the same story as if we have not had conversation previously

Beach view very nice but not good for swimming bcoz of the presence of jellyfish but there is a complimentary trip to a sandbar nearby maybe summer months

That there’s lots of activities that you can do with your family.

Nothing.

Atmosphere is nice and quiet. Dinner is good. There is an additional perfomance from another group with the traditional Phillipino dance with the bamboo sticks. It is spectacular.

Breakfast and dinner seems like quite the same similar contents every day. During my previous 2 stays at Astoria Palawan, the breakfast and dinner are all different every day. Maybe for the past 2 stays I went to Astoria at the end of the year, this time is in June, not sure is it this reason. Just guessing.

Very nice stafg, the kids loved the facilities, the buffet food and the fire show. The room is very comfy and very well kept.

Depending on the weekday, vegetarian options are a bit limited

We want to thank our guide, Mr. Anson Wagon, for an amazing vacation. He was highly accommodating and ensured we had a great stay. The staff were all smiling and attentive. The place is very relaxing and highly recommended!

what we loved most about the property was the water park. The kids had so much fun and really enjoyed it. We only stayed for one night, and honestly bitin talaga! The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and always ready to help. The food was also delicious, with plenty of options for the whole family. overall it was a wonderful stay and we wish we could have stayed longer!

The water park closed at 5:00pm. The kids were having so much fun, and we would loved to enjoy it for a few more hours in the evening.

We really enjoyed it here! There are several activities and amenities available so it made our stay more enjoyable and worthwhile. We really appreciate the warm welcome and assistance from sir Anson of Customer Relations. The complimentary trip to the sandbar was very fun! Thanks to the kuyas (Noel, Omar, Christopher, and Randy) who took care of us there. We also spent our sweet time at the Karaoke, which was very nice and spacious (Good for 10-15 people). The fire dance performance at night during dinner was also very fun to watch. Food was also good and all the amenities were clean and well-maintained. I surely want to come back here. I recommend it to those who want to take a breather and escape from the business of life for a while.

The staff here are exceptional. They are all very accommodating, polite and friendly 😊 Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Sir Anson Wagan who was especially welcoming and attentive to our needs. We had free welcome drinks (ube slushee) and bibingcute. We loved the bibingcute so much we bought the bigger version of the bibingka. The dinner and breakfast buffet had a lot of options. Options changes everyday. The ube ice cream was great! The staff at The Reserve were all very attentive. There are a lot of activities you can do in Astoria Puerto Princesa. Good place for staycation. We were pleasantly surprised by the night view by the beachside. We were able to see a lot of stars during our first night (which was a New Moon and had great weather)

Staffs are not that approachable. They made us leave the table we were sitting and using just because we didn’t avail their dinner buffet. We just ordered ala carte because we were still full

Mr. Anson Wagan has enthusiastically recommended AVLCI and discuss everything that we need to know. He helped us in everything that we need. I highly recommend that he always speak with the guests to make them feel comfortable. The Sandbar experience was great and Mr. Noel Bundac has helped us in the boat and even taok our photos excellently. The waterpark is wonderful, we had great experience. There are so many pool. Many amenities to enjoy. The cleaning staff were helpful. The front desk and those who answers in the telephone willingly helped us.

We had an amazing experience in our 4-day stay. So much to do within the resort, the 3 premium pools were clean and inviting, and they have a complimentary boat trip to the sand bar and complimentary van trip to the beaches. The true stars of the resort were the workers and representatives of the resort. We were treated like rock stars throughout the resort! Resounding shout out to the following folks at the resort, who represent the Astoria brand so we’ll: Water park: Rommel Manguera, Daniel Tomazon, Agustin Atilano. Dining areas: Albert and Susan Greeting and Reception area: Domer “Dom” Umlas and Susan.

An Unforgettable Experience First of all, thank you to Orlando for the amazing offer. It was truly worth it, and we are very grateful for your help. The property is huge and one of the things we loved most was our room—it was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. All the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which gave the whole place such a positive and welcoming atmosphere. The service was also fast and efficient. We had both breakfast and dinner buffet at The Reserve, and every dish was delicious. ❤️ Special thanks to Crystal for being attentive, hardworking, and providing excellent service. We also had an incredible time at the waterpark, especially our two kids. A big thank you to Rommel, who assisted us from the moment we arrived. He helped the children with the rides, took photos and videos for us, and made us feel very comfortable throughout our visit. Thank you, Rommel! We had a great and relaxing stay at Astoria Palawan. Our holiday consultant, Anson Wagan was so accommodating and entertaining. He was very attentive to our needs and make sure we enjoyed our stay and experienced all the amenities and activities available in the resort. We loved the ambiance of the resort - sort of combination of a holiday in a beach and in an orchard.

The Reserve and reception staff were great but the others (which I think are sales agents) are overly friendly - annoying honestly. Someone called us during siesta ssooooo our nap was disturbed! The location is too far from everything. The Waterpark which was the main reason why we bought the vouchers anyway was a disappointment! The river ride was under maintenance during our visit. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but not interested in the Astoria membership nor would we stay here again should we come back to Puerto.

Our stay at Astoria was excellent! My child absolutely loved staying there and enjoyed every moment. The staff was exceptional, always greeting us warmly and making us feel so welcome. Everything about our stay was fantastic, and we truly had a wonderful experience. 🤍

We stayed in the Alcove building, and we could hear some outside noise at times, but it was understandable since the room was standard. Overall, we still had a fantastic experience

Location is really nice, quiet with a big area. Atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. It’s calm and quiet environment. Also a family-friendly. You feel comfortable Rooms are spacious with complete amenities. It’s clean. The place is perfect for family and children, rooms are big and comfy and well maintained. Staff was helpful.

We check in Astoria Palawan, upon arrival at the airport, pick up up until the property, it was so warm and accomodating, then weve met, Anson who discussed everything about the property, he was really friendly, very accomodating, the whole time that we we spend in the place, you will feel that everybody was so friendly, its like family. Another personel was your sand bar attendant, Noel, he was accomodating as well. Facilities, rooms, overall, I will fully recommend the properties to my friends

Had my family stay at Astoria Palawan for 3 days and 2 nights. All of the staff were all friendly, attentive and accommodating. No hassle upon checking in and we were all informed of all the facilities and activities we can do for our whole stay. Room was spacious with a good ambiance and had a good night sleep overall. Would recommend this for anyone who wants to relax and get away from the busy cities. Special mention to Mr Anson for always checking up and taking care of us for the whole stay

The property was relaxed with many dining options. Rooms were large and quiet. The staff were helpful. The pools were beautiful.

It’s difficult to navigate and find things when you first arrive. Only the breakfast is all inclusive. It’s far to anything else on the island. The beach is not the place to be here. There were many insects. The mass taking up the sports bar was strange.

Great service from Maam Grace, Sir Mike Alaska, Ms. Crystal and Maam Jag. Super Friendly and very on-point with the service from the Reserve the Reserve Restaurant.

Location beach front, three swimming pools to choose from, good facilities, well equipped gym, staff were friendly and helpful, food in the main restaurant was good, lots of choice and great breakfast.

In the bedrooms some of the Deco can be overpowering too dark and dull, plus the furniture isn't nice to sit on, the chairs are like garden furniture can't get comfortable. Some of the paths leading to areas can be upgraded.

The recreation room with ping pong was great!

Got some kind of food poisoning from the hotel, and I know it is from their food since I only ate their food for 4 days. The resort has rocks all over the ground. So when you want to walk around barefoot it is very uncomfortable. The food was a very bad value and not tasty at all. The boat to the sandbar was extremely noisy to the point where it would damage your hearing since it requires you to sit trapped on the boat for 30 minutes. If you sit next to the engine, it's an unpleasant experience.

Service was great, spa/massage treatments, the complimentary days out, the food choices during breakfast and entertainment at dinner.

Quite isolated, not much opportunities to eat out.

We loved everything about the resort. The food and was amazing, staff were so friendly and the rooms were so clean. The kids loved the entertainment each night at the restaurant. I especially loved how the resort offered an Anticipated Mass on the Saturday!
