Hotel La Nuova Rotaia

The place was very close to the station

The room was very small

Wonderful staff and breakfast. The beds were extremely comfortable too. The distance to the train station was less than two blocks, very convenient.

It was all good.

La ubicación para el tren es perfecta

Cosas que mejorar

Very close to train station.

Location is great next to train station.Hotel was clean and staff is Breakfast was very good👍.

Room was a bit smaller than expected.

Colazione ottima.

Struttura già sperimentata altre volte. Mi sono sempre trovato bene.

The breakfast was the trump card for this hotel. It was fantastic. Buffet style. Cereal, cheeses, eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, pancakes, fruit and cakes. Bed was comfortable. Staff were amazing, they were attentive, friendly and very helpful. Fantastic location across the road from the railway station if you have onwards travel.

Arriving late at night might leave solo female travellers nervous, there are quite a few men hanging around the shop by the hotel. However receptionist told me they aren't ever any trouble and they didn't take any notice of us. View from the back of the hotel isn't pleasant, looks quite dirty, maybe hotel might look at cleaning the area up. We only had one bath towel and one hand towel between the two of us but we made it work, probably an error. .

Molto bello, pulito e curato. Ottima accoglienza, personale molto attento e cortese.

Proximity to railway station and town centre .Super staff particularly Fabio.Staff were able to give valuable advice re restaurants ect Extensive and good quality breakfast. The town is in easy reach of both Milan and Maggiore and could be a base to visit both.

Café da manhã completo, sensacional!

Não teve nada que não gostei.

The clean room, the location, and the manager who even helped us with the luggage on a hot day...we appreciate the attitude and attention

The kindest staff I’ve ever met—they were all incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly. Thank you for your wonderful service! The breakfast was delicious, the room was spotless, and the hotel is conveniently located just 100 meters from the train station. Highly recommended! ❤️

We loved how close this hotel is to the train station. The nearby restaurants were amazing as well. The hotel staff were super helpful. We really appreciated the flexibility of having a wonderful breakfast ready for us before 6 am before we had a full day of travel.

Miły i pomocny personel, dobre śniadania. Polecamy!

Staff were all kind and helpful. Air conditioning worked well. Iron was brought for my use. Room was good sized and location was close to downtown. Being close to the train station in helpful.

Shower was very hard to get into, and soap in shower was not refilled and ran out. I felt nervous coming into the hotel late due to the area. Would have liked better amenities such as lotion. It was very hard to get a taxi to the airport and shuttle they contract with is very expensive.

The staff were helpful and the hotel was clean

My room was noisy as the back of hotel faces train tracks and was full of loud men- gathering all day and night shouting and hanging out. They keep the front door locked. The area was nice once you walked 1-2 blocks. Breakfast was not the best. Only good feature was it was near train.

Pulizia e gentilezza

It has a good value and friendly staff. Good breakfast.

It’s located in an ugly area of the city, with a lot of people smoking on the street. It gives you the feeling that you are not safe.

Excellent staff. Friendly, courteous, and always willing to help with anything we needed. True professionals. The breakfast was very good—not overly elaborate, but with everything you could want. The quality of all the food was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the city center, just 10 minutes from the airport, and right next to the train and bus stations. Despite being so close to all these transport links, it is remarkably quiet.

Unfortunately, there was no small refrigerator in the room. The staff kindly provided us with cold water, but given the increasingly warm climate, the hotel should consider installing a minibar or small fridge in the rooms. The carpets in both the room and the hallways were old and worn. While this did not affect the comfort of our stay, they created an unpleasant impression. If they are not going to be replaced, it would be better to remove them altogether.

Buona camera, spaziosa e pulita.

Great location for people looking to use Gallarate's train station (frequent trains to Malpensa). Functional rooms with AC that works. Nice breakfast buffet.

Nothing to complain about.

Sopratutto l'accoglienza cortese e professionale. Bravi. Reception h24.

Loved the location so close to the station. Breakfast was appreciated. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. The town of Gallarate was chosen for its proximity to Malpensa however it didn’t offer much other than convenience.

The room was very small. We were awoken by other guests arriving in the middle of the night and for a few hours we could hear their showers, toilets, footfalls etc. They must have been in the room above us. So the sound proofing is not good.

The hotel has lovely staff who are happy to help with anything you need. It’s just a minute to walk to Gallarate Station on the airport line, so very handy. The lovely old town centre is another couple of minutes to walk. Our deluxe double room was on the fourth floor (elevator for easy access) with a comfy bed and updated bathroom. When windows are shut there is absolute silence which is great for sleeping!

Unfortunately there are a few people who loiter in the area around the hotel, but they don’t seem to bother anyone.

Great location, friendly staff (very good English, if needed), comfortable beds and blinds that make your room pitch black if you want Gallarate is quiet yet with plenty of options around

Staff is warm, courteous, kind, friendly and extremely helpful. Cannot say enough about them.

More pillows would have been great.

The location was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly

Noisy neighbours on one occasion. The noise carried!

Nice hotel and great location for MXP and train station. 2 min walk to train station

Good hotel near station. Breakfast ok. Very helpfull manager!

Hotel rimodernato, Camera confortevole. Possibilità di parcheggio coperto in convenzione in silos a circa 400 m. Possibilità di parcheggio gratuito in strisce bianche. Colazione buona

It was very convenient to walk from the train station and to taxi to the airport early the next morning. The hotel even had breakfast out at 4am so I could get food before I left. The staff was so friendly and helpful during my stay.

Very basic accommodation. You are paying for location by the airport, not for amenities or comfort. Hard bed, tiny shower and not much space in the room.

Tutto perfetto personale e posizione ottima

Tutto peefetto

Alessandra and Milo at the front desk were very friendly, helpful and kind.

The room was very comfortable and clean.

Friendly staff. Lovely hotel. Great location.

All good.

We stayed at this accommodation before heading to Switzerland from Malpensa. The location was perfect, as it was right in front of the station and very convenient. The room was clean, and all the staff were very kind. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the owner seemed to genuinely care for the guests and treated us very warmly. It was a wonderful place to start our trip.

Conveniently located near Malpensa Airport, with clean rooms and attentive staff.

Nothing

Wonderful alternative to staying in Milano. Express train to Milano about 30mins. Train station only 100metres away

Very friendly staff and sufficient breakfast

normal

Good location minutes to railway station, staff hospitable, friendly, helpful, clean, room size good, lift service from ground level to room level flat with no stairs. Breakfast plentiful, fresh & varied.

All good.

The hotel is small, clean and in an excellent location- right in front of the train stop (which is about 15-20 minutes ride to Malpensa airport). We used it for an overnight stay between flights and it was a perfect experience. First, the room was very clean, nice and had all necessities. Staff was extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. We went for a dinner and found a wonderful pizzeria about 5 minute walk from the hotel. The area is safe and 5 minute walk to the small city center. Highly recommend the hotel in case you need to rest between flights.
