Reviewed Mar 7, 2026I can not fault this place. The location is a few mikes from Picton, however, Colin and Tomoko kindly took us into the town to buy provisions. The accommodation has everything you need and a proper oven to cook a meal. Fresh lemons from their tree to make lemonade was an added bonus. Up to date bathroom and traditional living space. Very comfortable.

There are limited cafe/restaurant options within walking distance of the property (Picton is around 1 hour walk away).

Reviewed Dec 21, 2025The beach being so close - just down the driveway. The owners were friendly, there was plenty of space & the place was quiet with alot of bird choruses. . I'm glad I wasn't staying in Picton due to the noise.
I didn't have a vehicle so it was a decent (5.5ks) walk to Picton, however having said that 3.5 k was on a track thru bush & a k thru the marina, only 1 k on the road. As I enjoy walking I didn't see that as a problem.

We were further away from Picton than we thought but the road was good and parking was fine once you were in Picton.
