Hosts were friendly

Very old fashioned, dark and cramped. Mosquitoes in evening as no fly screens on windows. Uncomfortable bed , no extractor fan in bathroom.

Sehr gut ausgestattetes , sauberes Appartement, sehr schöne Terrasse und Garten. Ann und Nick sind wunderbare Gastgeber! Ich würde gerne wieder hier wohnen!!!

Excellent. Delivered to our apartment every morning by our hosts. Excellent location for walking in to town. Handy for local hotel for meals etc.

Having to leave..

The Annick House was a very comfortable and homey place for a couple of night stay in Nelson. Nick, the owner, gave me some great advice about traveling to Abel Tasman NP. And the breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. The Annick is an easy walk away from downtown Nelson and its delicious array of restaurants. I will say that the turn-in to the driveway from the main road is little daunting the first time you turn in. Initially there is a steep drop to navigate.

Ann and Nick could not be more helpful. They are great. Too bad they are going to retire, that it is going to be a loss to us travellers. I recommend staying with them. And what a beautiful garden!

Breakfast was included in our package, and it was excellent, brought to us each morning beautifully laid out on a tray. Loads of local knowledge from hosts Nick and Ann which was a great help.

The best thing about Annick House B&B are Ann and Nick, who are awesome hosts and made us feel so welcome. The location is close to walk into the CBD. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast delivered to our room was very substantial. We were able to do a load of laundry, which was very handy.

Lovely to have a spacious apartment to ourselves with a lovely springtime garden to enjoy. The apartment was beautifully clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home.

The location was very close to town, just a few minutes walk to town and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful property with everything you need. Delightful owners and lovely breakfasts. If you have vertigo, the steep drive could be a bit challenging.

Stayed 3 nights at Annick House. Felt like our house from the start. Just safe, comfortable and convenient. Great hosts with history to Nelson. Fabulous fresh breakfast.Nick helped us tour, walking routes and taxis. Had great beer at his pub! Little Thai takeaway near his house had fresh dinners at reasonable price. Had our first NZ pie at downtown bakery.. too good. Nelson will be hard to beat.

This is a beautiful property. The hosts could not have been more helpful. There were many nice touches like biscuits to have with coffee and beautiful towels and linen. What a great place to stay.

Good hospitality thanks! Just one thing not comfortable about was cleanliness. Hairs were on the Cushions, some odd smells around bed area. Otherwise it’s a nice accommodation. Breakfast were also delicious.

Breakfast was good and they catered for my gastric problems. We were lucky with the weather and ate in the garden. We borrowed a BBQ and had a superb setting for breakfast and dinner. Ann and Nick go the extra mile for you.

Lovely stay in a peaceful location. Only a short stroll into Nelson where there are plenty of amenities. We loved the fresh breakfast and Ann and Nick’s local knowledge. Very comfy bed and the accommodation was very well equipped. We liked the eco friendly approach too, that was great to see. Would definitely recommend this place as an ideal location to visit Abel Tasman.

Great location within easy walking of Nelson centre and the Centre of New Zealand. We had the garden room which was spacious and looked out onto a lovely well kept garden and lemon tree. Lovely breakfast brought to us each morning.

Delightful accommodation provided by friendly hosts, Anne and Nick. Mine was spacious, very well furnished and equipped and opened onto a lovely garden.

Ann and Nick are very welcoming hosts. A beautiful and peaceful setting in great walking distance to local eateries and town. A very comfortable stay and wonderful cooked breakfast each morning. Lovely comfy bed and sheets. We were there 4 nights, great for relaxation, you don’t even feel like you are in town, so quiet. A real home away from home. We stayed in the Whitby Suite, would definitely stay again.

The hosts were very friendly and helpfull. The room was spacious and nice decorated. Breakfast was very good. Comfortable bed and we could sit in the garden. We did like our stay very much. The B&B was on walking distance of the restaurants.

The wat to the B&B was very steep, but that is nothing you can blame on the house.

Needed a one night stopover close to the city centre. Very well looked after by Nick and Anne and very walkable. Enjoyed their recommendations and the kiwi continental breakfast brought to our unit. Very comfortable bed and plenty of space. Well kitted out for self catering stays too.

We stayed 3 nights at Annick House. Accomodation was comfortable & hosts Annie & Nick were wonderful. Nice quiet area close to town restaurants & also walks up the Grampians Reserve.

A warm and friendly home away from home; peaceful, yet centrally located to both event-filled Nelson and forested trails and parks. My father and I loved it!

We were very pleased with our accommodations and the convenient location. We were greeted by Nick upon our arrival. He was a bundle of information about the area and things to do. The breakfast were the best and brought to our flat fresh and warm. Nick and Ann are gracious hosts and obviously enjoy sharing their lovely home and gardens with their guests.

Homely place to stay with attentive, knowledgeable hosts. Plenty to do in the area especially a walk in the Abel Tasman National Park. One hour drive away.

Hosts Ann and Nick were wonderful. So nice to have breakfast delivered to the room each morning. We had plenty of room in the "Africa" room to spread out and enjoy. Access to laundry and a drying line were much needed after 2 weeks of travel!

A whole suite of rooms, private deck and a pretty garden. A modern house and no view, but very nice hosts and very comfortable.

This is a lovely B&B in Nelson, within easy walking distance of the town for restaurants and shopping. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer. The room was excellent, it was like a home from home, very comfortable. If we ever to get to Nelson again, we would definitely stay at this B&B.
