That the doors are closed between noon and 2 pm. When we arrived at 2:30pm it was pouring and it took someone awhile to come and open the door for us. it would have been okay of it wasnt raining cats and dogs. Would also be inconvenient if our flight had landed earlier.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Posizione centralissima per visitare Bruges. Il b&b è ricavato all’interno di un palazzo secolare adattato ai tempi moderni. Al piano terra la colazione essenziale è servita in due sale molto suggestive. A disposizione sempre distributore di acqua e macchinetta caffè. È presente anche un’ascensore dato che la scala per salire è molto ripida e un po’ pericolosa.
La camera ha un arredamento davvero minimale (che onestamente preferisco ad ambienti più pieni) ma mancavano un po’ di piani di appoggio. Il letto è di tipo alla francese, piuttosto stretto.

Las habitaciones al menos la nuestra “Catedral “, el diseño de la misma te lleva e integra a siglo 19 con las ventajas técnicas de este siglo ( una pasada de habitación)

Das Frühstück war sehr überschaubar. Jeder bekam ein halbes Glas Orangensaft . Als Brotbelag gab es Salami o. Kochschinken. Zwei Käsesorten, Marmelade. Das wars. Die Möbelstücke ( Bezüge) waren fleckig und abgeranzt. Rezeption gibt es nicht. Wenn man etwas braucht, muss man anrufen, dann kommt jemand hektisch angerannt

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Wir hatten ein unglaublich tolles Zimmer im Dachgeschoss des sehr schönen B&B. Wir waren sehr, sehr glücklich mit der Unterkunft, dem Personal, der Zimmer und der Lage. Das Haus und das Zimmer sind mit sehr, sehr viel Stil und absolut toll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war gut. "Free Coffee" ist natürlich ein Spitzen-Service! Aber auch die "Honesty-Bar" für Getränke. Echt Klasse! Alles war top! Unsere Erwartungen sind absolut übertroffen worden.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Lovely old elegance and beauty. Gracious kind and considerate hosts. Like time travelling. Fabulous to have the private honor bar room across the road, where I could sit in evenings with my friends who were staying in a different hotel.
A small lip up to bathroom from bedroom was a littke dangerous … I tripped twice, fell against the edge of the doorframe and scraped my arm badly. Didn’t see it tge first time (in daylight.) Then going to bathroom in the middle of the night, forgot it was there.

It is situated right in the heart of everything but felt like a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city once the enormous front door was closed. We stayed in the Cardinal room which was a lovely, airy room in the eaves with exposed beams and a large roll top bath. It has been tastefully and sensitively renovated and even had Aircon which was brilliant. Our room also overlooked the beautiful Sint-Salvator Cathedral. The breakfast was generous and delicious, with fresh pastries, continental meats and cheeses, fresh bread, cereals and yoghurts along with hot food such as scrambled eggs and bacon. The hosts were very responsive and helpful before we even arrived and Cynthia on-site was super friendly and helpful throughout our trip, we loved chatting with her. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and would also come back here if visiting the city in the future.
The bed was a little soft for me.

Olivier, Sandy and Cynthia were so welcoming and made us feel as if we were guests in their home. And, the breakfasts were wonderful!

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Die Stockwerke waren mit dem Aufzug erreichbar, was mit Gepäck äußerst vorteilhaft war. Das Zimmer war recht groß und originell ausgestattet, durch die offenen Dachbalken. Auch die Badewanne im Zimmer war ein Blickfang, jedoch benutzen wir lieber die Dusche. Auch die Lage war optimal, da alles zu Fuß erreichbar war. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die nahegelegene Privatgarage, die auch für größere Pkws geeignet ist. Sie muss vor gebucht werden, ist aber jeden Cent wert.
Das Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein, jedoch muss man sagen, dass Sonderwünsche wie zum Beispiel, glutenfrei ,problemlos erfüllt werden. Wir hatten nur leider Pech mit dem Wetter, total verregnet.

La camera che ci è stata riservata aveva l'affaccio sulla cattedrale ed era da sogno: spaziosa e pulita, con una vera e propria sala da bagno e una vasca stupenda di fronte all'ingresso.Anche le zone comuni, come quella per la colazione, erano curate nei minimi dettagli. Ottima e abbondante la colazione. Avendo un bimbo di 3 anni, abbiamo trovato la tavola apparecchiata con un servizio piatti e posate appositamente per lui. La proprietaria è stata sin dall'inizio gentile e disponibile e attenta alle nostre richieste. Super consigliato per chi cerca un alloggio da sogno.
Non c'è nulla che non ci sia piaciuto.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Wunderschönes, spezielles B&B. super freundliches Personal, tolless Ambiente / Interieur, top Lage, hervorragendes Frühstück, Unser Zimmer (Mansarde) unter einen der beiden Dächer war sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr groß. Dusche und Wanne top!! Keinerlei Lärm von "Nachbarn" zu hören. autom. Rollos und Dachfensterschließung per Fernbedienung + Klimaanlage Besonders hervorzuheben ist das super freundliche Personal. nebenlegende Kirche scheint inaktiv - also kein stundelanges frühes Glockengeläut :-)
Alles war in top, dies hier sind keine wirklichen negativen Merkmale: z.B. da Anmeldung des Autos für verkehrsberuhigte Straßennutzung (Anreise) beim Amt in Brügge online vorgenommen aber keine Reaktion (nicht die Schuld des Hotels) daher zu Fuß vom Parkhaus zum Hotel - ist aber nicht sehr weit.

The whole building has been sympathetically restored and so comfortable! Location was nice and centrally placed. Excellent, amiable hosts ... the breakfast was more than ample with choice. Reviewed May 18, 2026Goede uitvalsbasis in het centrum va Brugge. Vlakbij de Sint Salvatorkathedraal, ideaal om zonder plan de weg terug te vinden. Het ontbijt was simpel maar meer dan voldoende met elke morgen spek en eieren, diverse beleg en vers brood en broodjes. De koffiemachine stond de ganse dag ter beschikking. Het gebouw had door zijn leeftijd vele charmes. De Canadese eigenares was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Het was een oud herenhuis en dat was goed merkbaar. De vloeren kraakten bij elke stap en het leek of de ganse kamer mee bewoog. De vele kieren in de deuren zorgden ook voor een slechte geluidsisolatie.

Badkamer: ventilator maakte " hels" lawaai, is dus aan vervanging toe, toiletpot is ouderwets en bleef na doortrekken steeds doorspoelen, na een paar extra doortrekken kon dit gestopt worden, dus risico van blijvend geruis en vooral van verlies van water!

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay that really encapsulates the essence of Brugge for your holiday, you really need to check this B&B. Breakfast was great and our room was perfect. Cannot recommend these folks enough to anyone that’s travelling to here. Perfect for lazy mornings after breakfast just enjoying being in our beautiful room and getting ready for the day ahead. So happy with my choice.
