BuonHotel Bologna Centro

A super-friendly little hotel, well-priced and well located in Bologna, close to the sights and some great coffee shops/bars. The room was a little old-fashioned but comfortable and clean. The bathroom likewise was a bit small but did the job for a short stay. Thoroughly enjoyable stopover in Bologna.

Excellent location and friendly hosts

Lots of character and perfect location! Very friendly owner.

Paolo, back office, var fantastisk.

Very nice clean hotel, was a little disappointed that all the reviews I read prior to booking, praised the breakfast, but there was no breakfast available during my stay. I congratulate the hotel on being eco friendly.

The Hotel Manager was extremely helpful during my stay! I could not ask for better. Thnxs Ciao

The property was located exactly where we wanted to be, just off the main road. The property was quiet. There is a steep stairway right when you come in the front door. The room itself was really small, the a/c didn’t work, and the staff was aware of this. The drapes were stuck in the window and my husband had to stand on the desk to get them free in able to close them.

Simple little hotel with basic but clean and functional rooms. Didn’t spend much time in the hotel so it was perfect to come back to sleep in.

Great reasonably priced property, very friendly staff

Great service, location, room condition, host was tremendously helpful with late check-in and advising activities around the city.

Paolo was fantastic as a host. Very friendly, efficient and helpful.

Mycket enkelt men bekvämt hotell i bästa området i Bologna. Tyst och lugnt.

Kleines Hotel, sehr zentral gelegen. Sehr netter, hilfreicher Hotelmanager mit vielen guten Tipps. Insb.

All was good

Very attentive staff during and before stay. Good rooms and in a great location in the city center. Clean and comfortable!

Helpful friendly staff in a good location. Clean.

This historical building has been stylishly restored by the owner. Very tasteful. The owner is very charming and friendly and we will be back to see him when we return to Bologna. He even took the time out to take me to the local cafe to take a coffee together whilst I waited for my wife to pack :)

Very nice hotel close to downtown. The staff is outstanding and very helpful. Rooms have a good size and there is a lounge with books, magazines and sofa to enjoy coffee.

Really great location and welcoming, helpful owners

Amazing location and incredible service oriented staff. We got many useful information from the concierge to roam around Bologna. Highly recommended

The buon hotel is a funny one as there isn’t a permanent receptionist so feels a bit half hotel half Airbnb. Paolo was helpful and responsive. Location is about 15-30’ walk from main train station but very close to the main square and sights. Area felt safe.

Nice smal Hotel, with an excellent service. Clean Room with good bed. Good location in city center. We would love to stay here again.

Great location for a weekend in Bologna

Very central and clean. Friendly staff: very helpful and informative. The only downside (but I think that may be due to the particular position of my room just on top of the stairs) was that whenever someone would open what I think was the front door (some doors, in any case), my door would shake from the draft created (even if I has my window closed), which felt like somebody trying to enter the room. Clearly, that wasn’t the case but as a female solo traveler took some time to get used to.

Wonderful location and great staff!

Paolo is GREAT!!!

Paolo. Struttura in pieno centro storico, troverete molti ristoranti e locali nei dintorni.

The hotel was in a great, central location - very walkable. Paolo was incredibly helpful and accommodating! I highly recommend this hotel :)

Perfect location for weekend break. Friendly and helpful staff. Only thing missing was soap in the bathroom.

Be advised that reception is only staffed 10:00-16:00. If you haven't received instructions you will be locked out. The buzzer works, but no one is there nor did calling the phone number posted connect for help. He showed me the texts sent to me and I showed him that the texts had not arrived. I showed him the phone calls I made. The hotel is clean, comfortable and conveniently located.

I arrived way before check in and Paolo was waiting for me with a smile. The single room is small, but has everything you could need. Ac in room, super clean, comfy bed, fairly quiet. 2 minute walk to the main square and eateries. It’s homey.

Lovely, small and functional hotel. Certainly not a full a full service property but it’s not at all required for a short weekend away enjoying the city. Great location near to the centre and surrounded by great bars, restaurants and gelato stores!

Wonderful well located hotel with very helpful host Paulo would highly recommend

Great spot for group and solo travellers to stay while exploring Bologna

The location is excellent, unfortunately there was building work going on at the building next door. There were two flights of stairs which should be mentioned. The bathroom had packets of soap, a soap dispenser would be better and the bidet cannot be used as u get the radiator in your right knee, such a shame The staff were b friendly and helpful

Utrolig venlig vært, serviceminded ud over det vanlige.

Personale gentile e disponibile

Very nice hotel on a quiet little street convenient to the center of of the old town. No elevator but owner helped carry bags up the stairs. There is a stair lift if needed. Would definitely recommend.

Great location

Grazie Pavla

good location, clean, and very very kind. I was really happy to stay there. There are stairs, but they carry all my luggage. Next year, absolutely I will stay again. Thank a lot.

Prezzo onestissimo e staff molto disponibile.

The staff was super friendly and helpful--could not have been more welcoming or thoughtful. The premises are super clean and well maintained. The location is outstanding--just a few corners from Piazza Maggiore. Accommodations are basic, but quiet and clean. If you don't need something luxurious, this is highly recommended for the staff, cleanliness, quiet, and location
