Weird smells coming from bathroom. Everything inside the room seems to be cheaply made. - toilet seat hole way too big - poor soundproofing - king bed is just 2 single beds pushed together - poor ventilation. Frequently smell smoke in our room

I have a great time staying at the hotel the only thing I complain about is I smell people smoke cigarettes even though my booking was a none smoking room.

Langham Hotel was very central to the convention centre. Easy 10 min walk. Rooms a very clean and food is good.

The hotel staffs were friendly. We remembered a staff name krystal who give us the attention we need when check in to the hotel. The next day, she remember us when we ask for pillow. Excellence service.

Great hotel

The hotel is very nice, despite of being an old hotel, its very well maintained. Staff super helpfull!! The advantage of this hotel is being 10 min walk from Canton fair, otherwise, there is nothing to do around here, there are not many dining options except for the hotel restaurants, which are very good by the way Breakfast was excellent very close to the metro, so you can visit city center easily for dinning or shopping but it takes some 30 minutes to get there

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service & Design My experience at Langham Place, Guangzhou was truly fantastic from start to finish. Everything, from the seamless check-in to the quick check-out, was handled with efficiency and professionalism. We chose an Executive Room, which was absolutely worth it—the executive lounge and executive terrace associated with the room provided an elevated experience. The room amenities and design were top-notch, offering both style and comfort. The breakfast selection was impressive, catering to almost every international traveler with a wide variety of options. The architectural design by AEDAS is stunning, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel is remarkable. Service was another highlight—the staff was consistently friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the location near the Metro made getting around the city extremely convenient. If I had to be a bit picky, the orientation of some facilities could be better planned. The rooftop terraces and breakfast restaurant could have taken greater advantage of Guangzhou’s spectacular views. The breakfast area, in particular, felt a bit enclosed for such a large hotel. That being said, these are minor points in an otherwise exceptional experience. Langham Place, Guangzhou is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking luxury, comfort, and world-class service.

Use the heated pool, the water temperature is too cold for me. The dressing room is not well maintained. The staff are excellent, at Chuan, Ming Court, Alfresco, the Reception and the concierge. The worst is the location, it’s only good for attending the Canton Fair or exhibitions at nearby halls.

I strongly recommend this hotel. The staff are friendly, they are well trained. They really went out of their way to assist. My compliments to the management team and staff for such a well-run establishment. This is truly home away from home.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Langham Place, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The hotel boasts very modern architecture, making it a visually stunning place to stay. Everything was impeccably clean, and the overall ambiance was inviting. The food was delightful—each meal I had was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The hotel had a lovely scent that enhanced the overall atmosphere, making it feel even more luxurious. What truly touched me was how the staff made my birthday special. They surprised me with a cake and sang a heartfelt birthday song, which made the occasion unforgettable. In the evenings, we enjoyed live music at the bar, which added a nice touch of animation to our nights. However, I did find the spa services a bit overpriced. A massage cost $300, and while it was nice, it didn’t feel particularly special for the price. Overall, I would definitely recommend Langham Place. The combination of excellent service, great food, and a beautiful setting made my birthday celebration truly memorable! Christel handal

Perfect for Canton fair.

Hard to communicate with staf.food service wasn’t even close to single star. Ordered 3 different meals,first one got it in 10 minutes,second one after 30 minutes and last one in 45 minutes

Perfect for Canton Fair. Easy access by crossing the street to 15A entrance (2 minute walk) cleanliness, class, beauty, service and comfort were all perfect. Great choice of restaurants within hotel. Buffet breakfast was perfect too. My only nitpick is the room airconditing which stayed at 21-22 degrees celsius despite being set to 18. But I still slept great. I would come back for sure

We checked in after 2am. At check in the staff reconfirmed that one room was for double and another was for triple. When we went into the room, the room for triple sharing did not have an extra bed, nor were the amenities setup for 3 people. When we called for an extra bed, the staff told us that we've to pay extra for for an extra bed. We were too tired to argue and just accepted and decided to fix the issue the next day. Thankfully the front desk clarified in the morning that we didn't have to pay for the extra bed. However, for a 5 start hotel with a good reputation, this kind of miscommunication/misunderstanding is unacceptable. Also, the room should have already been setup for 3 people without us having to request. Hence the 4 out of 5 star rating. Otherwise everything else was great. Nice buffet spread, decent gym and spa, and and timely and efficient room makeup.

It was a nice stay, all the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the swimming pool and I think it was amusing that they’d make you wear a swim cap even if you’re bald. The Ming Court restaurant was fantastic. The lobby smelled nice. Lots of food delivery options nearby. It’s not too far from the subway. Downside: if you speak 0 Chinese and need help (like asking for a new crib sheet because your little one had an accident), you may have some trouble if you call the concierge on the phone. I specifically booked this place because English communication was not supposed to be an issue here, but at times it was, and I had to act as the interpreter for other people in my group.

Good afternoon, the truth is that the Hotel is excellent, the cleaning service, the restaurant service is the reception service, which leaves a lot to be desired and is really a lack of respect for the client who stays at the Hotel, the cleaning service Reception on the ground floor when you arrive at the Hotel the people who carry your suitcases are accomplices along with all the taxi drivers and they take a commission, but it is really a shame that this happens and the bad image it leaves the Hotel being so prestigious , there is not a person who was not connected and being an accomplice of the taxi drivers, always charging more, there was not a single time that did not happen in 10 days of stay, thank you very much.

Pretty good 5 star hotel, it’s close to exhibition Centre, nice location for business trip but not for leisure time. Construction work in progress when I was there.

Great hotel within a few mins walk to the fair grounds. Even though they were super busy the service was great l, especially the club lounge. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

Pricey yes but you get what you pay for. Business lounge on 22nd floor has the best of the best. Staff is over and above. Special Shout out to Krystal, Hannah and Ken on the 22nd lounge floor. The hotel is lucky to have amazing staff like this but ALL the staff we met were great. Modern. Fast internet. Nothing negative at all.

I am really satisfied with the stay, I had the best experience ever. I was shocked to see how clean everything was, the staff was really friendly there were even nice to upgrade my room to a VIP room. The food was also very good .thank you and will definitely come back to them soon.

I already rated this hotel but I am rating again. This is the BEST HOTEL in Guangzhou and I am not afraid to say probably one of the BEST HOTELS IN CHINA. SUPER SUPER CLEAN rooms and bathrooms. I did NOT want to leave the hotel. Bathroom was one of the cleanest and beautiful bathrooms. Buffet was great. Service was great. Lounge was great. Service was great. Shoutout to Tracy and Barton. No doubt that this was a 5 star hotel. I don’t even have one bad thing to say about this place. With all the bed bug issues and viruses going on in China, I felt safe from all of that at this hotel. Staying at one of the worst hotels at the moment writing this review (Crowne Plaza Qingdao), I am almost tearing reminiscing about my stay at Langham Place Guangzhou. The cleaning lady even folded one of my worn shirts that I threw on the chair. View is amazing. Stop reading this review, book it, and go experience it yourself. I miss you Langham Place Guangzhou. Keep up the AMAZING work!!

Through my experience I can say that the staff in this establishment has been exceptional, especially Anny who excels in Guest Relations, who made sure to guide me throughout my stay. Nikki who treated me with care upon my arrival, and lastly Billie, who made sure my experience at the Club Lounge was unforgettable. I must say that the staff of Langham Place Hotel is as professional as can be. Although the hotel has many amenities and perks, the element that stands out the most is the level of hospitality from the staff!

Really bad Wifi. This is a business trip, I need to have a very internet connection, files and email took forever to download The staff needs to speak better English, this is a English hotel. Basic. No room upgrade, instead a cheap bottle of wine and a spa coupon worth less than $30

What a Gem of a hotel, clean, spacious and friendly from the moment I walked in, to the time that I left! Extremely good value, and while it’s out of the city centre, it’s close to the metro and around $6 aud to most central parts of GZ! The value for money was impeccable! Will stay again without a doubt
