Ruve Al Madinah Hotel

Very disappointing ending to our stay. An iron was accidentally left on the bed for a few minutes, damaging the sheet and mattress cover. I acknowledged the accident. However, accidental damage is an operational risk in the hotel business, particularly for a 4-star hotel. Had we already left, the hotel might have had to absorb the loss. Instead, because our luggage was still in storage, they demanded around SAR 800 and would not release our bags while we disputed the charge and had a flight to catch. I eventually paid SAR 400 after negotiation—almost equivalent to another night’s stay. I feel the hotel could have shown goodwill by absorbing the loss or charging a nominal penalty rather than effectively charging the guest the replacement cost. Accidents happen, and the lack of flexibility and particularly holding our luggage left a very bad taste and is the reason for my low rating.

Very spacious room Excellent location Very close to the Mosque

All was good

the location and the staff are awesome. Muhmmad Hussain keeps the stay memorable always there for your needs.

Hospitality

Nothing less than 5 star hotel in terms of amenities cleanliness, professionalism of staff.

Everything was great.

Clean rooms , organized place , excellent food and location

.

Available dor early check in. Though the check in at 4pm but they allowed me to check in before that.

Location

They treat hotel guests of two or three days staying as one has reserved 10 days with three rooms. Thier loyalty program strategies is very weak as they don't offer upgrade at least to one of the room as I can see it available in Booking.com at that time.

Its location is convenient to go to mosque

It’s not up to date

Room condition The electric kettle was leaking water, no one checked it before allowing guests. When the complaint was made the first response was maybe you have overfilled !!! Staff replaced the kettle from another room without taking it back for maintenance so unprofessional. Toothpaste and other items towel mat for the floor in the washroom were missing. Room carpet looks dirtier not sure when cleaned . TV remote was broken and electrical tape was pasted over batteries to keep them in place , very unhegenic and unprofessional. Air-conditioning and lights are operated through a wall mounted remote which has lost the touch sensitivity and made it impossible to operate.

Lift service

Room are very good - proper and clean - Breakfast exceptional with many food varieties

Breakfast

Quick check in and check out. Prompt response for any request. Comfortable beds, cleanliness. Lamp shades curtains well washed and clean stainless with no dirt. The touch system room controls are fully operational. Haven't seen them in five stars in Madina and Mecca. Ample lifts almost no waiting time. Pleasant smelling atmosphere, Water dispensers two per floor. Detox water all the time and gauva in the evening at the lobby for guests. Room service food is good and at reasonable rates. Room service quick response. A club sandwich or an Omelette breakfast would reach you in 15 - 20 Mins maximum..Good english speaking staff at the Reception and reasonable speaking staff at room service. This is not very common even in Five stars. Distance from Masjid Nabawi is reasonable. Approachable for cars and taxis. The hotel was decorated and arranged gauva and biscuits for guests after Eid prayer. This was a great gesture.

The price should be a little Lower. It should be brought down. Housekeeping staff, though very efficient, cooperative and available, needs some training in Hygienic measures. E.g washing the bathrooms, emptying the waste and handling the clean fresh towels, the tea bar stuff at the same time without washing the hands.. However when advised, it was followed without any argument. Breakfast at 125 / head was very expensive. This was discussed with a hotel official. To our surprise next day it was reduced to 75 / head. This seemed OK. This was a result of our discussion or a routine decision, anyway it seemed a good gesture. The buffet breakfast had quite a variety but didn't have the active station and lacked the Continental flavour. It was more of an Arabian cuisine. The hotel lobby was small, it became extremely crowded on the Eid day.

القرب من بوابات النساء وتعامل موظفين الاستقبال إضافة إلى سرعة المصاعد ماشاءالله

Nothing

Everything was great, especially the breakfast. It was delicious, and the timing was very convenient—served until 10:00 AM, which was fantastic.

Everything was fine. There was nothing I particularly disliked. Only one thing bothered me: the water always remained on the bathroom floor. It didn't drain properly.

Location and friendliness

Good location.

Location is great, Standards have dipped significantly over the years Needs improvement Staff need to have a better attitude towards their work Overall decent stay.

Lack of cleanliness
