Pera Center Hotel

Not bad for a single person

Very dirty, it was really rerrible. Noise until 4am and then the sound of tables and chairs being moved. A very poor hotel, perhaps with the concessions of a two-star hotel. There wasn't even any hand-wash liquid.

I can only tell about my experience. NOT good at all. Even though the owner spoke with us on the second day, at the first night we had a terrible room poorly maintened and with different arrengements from the one we book. On the second day, the owner made an attemp to fix issues, but new fails shotly after reappeared. We had no water for na whole night, along with eletric blackouts. Staff are ok, but very limited with english, to a point they're unable to assist. Istambul is great, but I couldnt just ignore how amateur the hotel was. Pera Center has potential, but they need to improve a lot to.become acceptable

Great location but hotel is not worth what you pay. Room wasn’t clean and aircon unit full of dust. Had to move rooms as the forest room we could not sleep in. Breakfast wasn’t nice and not great options. Charges extra for orange juice. You can pay extra £20 for a better hotel and it will be worth every penny.

Requested to continue my stay and was given a rate for additional days. The following day when trying to pay for the room, was asked for a higher rate and when questioned why higher amount, option of either payment or checking out immediately. This approach was not only unprofessional but displayed a total disregard to those who sustains the hospitality of Turkey, on which a big share of the economy rests. I choose to pay much higher at another hotel that should regard and value to its customers....

The only problem i had was the size of the room and the elevator we where 3 and the room was not that large but it was fine they charge the soap and shampoo every day and the hallways smells really good and the room was clean and the breakfast was really good too

The room not the same we booked We arrived at 6:30 am and didn’t find even bottle of water ( we should have one for free) Many noisy people in the corridor ( kids playing in the corridor ,we can here the hair dryer from another room at 8:00 am because they left the door open)

The place does not look like the photos. Its quite outdated, renovations needed. Dirty floor and it

Don’t let their pictures attract you, we had horrible experiences at this hotel when we first went to our room their was a garbage bag infront of our door we found bugs on the curtains the room wasn’t clean properly the carpet at the hallway are very dirty and very small you can barely fit your luggages we had to go many time to the reception to help us enter our room since the access card to the room wasn’t working properly it was very frustrating we ended up leaving the hotel we couldn’t handle this horrible stay and ended up stay at a different hotel the manager didn’t care about us leaving the hotel and they never refunded us the remaining days when where staying at the hotel horrible and disgusting place to stay don’t waist your time.

Good

Go check the reviews on any platform you like. They are scammers, they are liars. They tried to scam me and almost all of the employees are all disrespectful. Also best regards to Mr. Metin who said " go wherever you like" after I stated that I would be pursuing my legal rights.

My mom got very sick from this hotel, you can smell the mold as soon as you walk in the rooms (on the website/brochure it is said that the room is big) when you arrive its very small. The air circulation is horrible, so the mold is everywhere. My mom has astma so after one night we told the manager that she couldn’t sleep from all the coughing. He then sent us to “his” room, a suite.. mold is still on the brick toilet walls, my mom couldn’t handle it so we told him we want to cancel our stay. He understood as he asked my mom to show her medicines (as if he didn’t believe she was suffering from the mold). When he seen the puffer and medication she takes he told her he is sorry and that we will get refunded. He promised the money will be on the bank the next day. When next day arrived, the money still wasn’t sent. We went to the hotel and seen multiple people we seen before, trying to get a refund aswel because they felt tricked. The room is smaller than said, there is dirt and mole everywhere. The manager told everyone it will get fixed but thats just his scam. He knows people will eventually return to their homeland, so he just tricks them to wait. I sent him multiple messages and calls. I am disgusted with the treatment and especially getting tricked when someones health is at stake. My mom eventually had to go see a doctor and got antibiotics for a whole week, because two nights caused the mold to settle in her lungs. I wish I had taken more pics but this picture u can see the mold literally next to where u sit on the toilet.

My stay was not bad. However, not as expected. While booking through you portal it was mentioned that there is airport transfer service which I found later through hotel staff that they never provide such services. That means the information provided was misleading

First of all, this is the worst hotel I have stayed in after traveling to so many different countries. I have stayed in Istanbul many times but this place is a scam! First I reserved a superior room and for 2 people bed. Upon arrival, they only gave me a 1-bed closet size room so small you can even use the bathroom. I will post the picture to show how you facing the wall. I spoke to a numbers of people and gave me the run around they going to change my room and never did the manager Mr Yilmaz did nothing just said Tomorrow and it was never changed. My brother had to make another hotel reservation to stay. Meanwhile, I had to stay and got the runaround. All I wanted what I paid for was a superior room with 2 beds. The advertisement is a scam. Ruining my stay and making us pay to book another hotel for my brother! Please stay away from this Pera Center it is just a scam.

Will never stay at this hotel again, even if they offer it for free. This hotel has the rudest staff (the morning shift receptionist). Our room couldn't be dirtier. There were hairs and dust all over the bathroom. There were hairs on pillows from the previous guests. They didn't even bother to clean the rooms before our check-in. Rooms also are super small.

Customer service was not good , the TV in the room was not working the outlets in the room not all of them works , I asked about the TV issue. There is no remote they said come back next morning . I felt I was not welcome there, and it was all business. and the room was not worth what I paid for. Oh, and one more thing the elevator it was to small it barely fits two people .

Let’s start with the reception, employees are very rude, unprofessional, and careless. They barely speak English and are not helpful at all. The rooms are very small, the shower leaks in to the room and the smell of the toilet is horrible. Breakfast is very poor, no variety.

Awfully all thing were bad. Room is too small with a narrow corridors that we can not move our storrel easily. The reception is rude . Breakfast doesn't have variety and it cost extra money for fried egg and .. don't waste your time and money. It is only one star and no star more!!!!!!!

Miserabel

This is the worst possible place you can ever stay in. Initially we had asked for early check in but apparently they could not accept it. We waited around Istanbul as the staff didn t even try to help or do anything. Once we were able to check in we were faced with dirty sheets, sticky surfaces, moldy showers, horrible dirty carpets, dirty unchanged towels, not to mention the horrible toilet smell. After a long day i went to lay down for some rest but once i reached to remove the bedding i was faced with a terrible yellow stain and the sheets were covered with someone else's hair. I called reception and the guy could barely speak any English. He took some pictures and brought seemingly freshly washed bedding and asked if we could change them as the cleaning services were not present. After my protests to do so I changed the bedding and went to open the clean sheets only to find more hair from other guests in the clean ones too. Leaving was not an option as the 6 rooms for me and my colleagues, were already prepaid and there was no money back to be refunded. I don t want to even talk about the breakfast, the dirty carpets, the dirty towels, stained mattresses and the sticky surfaces. Hotels like this are a health hazard and should not not be left open to operate. Simply a horrible experience accompanied by indifferent staff who could not speak a word of English and did nothing to help.

The rooms are pretty small, you will have trouble moving around without crashing into wall or tv or tripping over your luggage. the shower water leaks into the room. the breakfast? terrible! I could get a better breakfast at a hostel. However the only positive thing was the staff were great so I like to thank them for keeping this establishment

it was very terrible. if you want to" waste your time and money" you can travel to this hotel. the room was so dirty. every morning they serve gust boiling egg with cheese. The rooms are very very small and noisy.

Do not waste your money. Indifferent staff and reception. Repetitive breakfast. The rooms are very very small and noisy. Full of mosquitoes and we could not sleep until morning. Tea and Nescafe were not charged, trash cans were not emptied and ...

Worst hotel ever!!! The receptions are not friendly, even their cloth is not clean!!! The room is very tight and you don’t have enough space even to open your loggage! Breakfast is awful! You just see a plate and you do not have any other choice, when I ask for tooth brush , the reception said they the market is over the street and we don’t have tooth brush😯 the hotel has 2 elevator and they are veeeery tight and if you will be 3 in elevator, one of you should wait for next time to use elevator ! So I hope you don’t waste your time and money to use this hotel!!!!

we stayed for 7 nights breakfast is too poor in a plate aweful smell in room and too small rooms wifi is not working and reception said that they can do nothing for enternet very very terrible hotel also rooms are not clean as we think

Very rude staff! They are unfriendly and If you need anything they act like your bothering them! But the hotel is so close to taksim which is a good thing...otherwise every thing is avrage and the staff's manerism is the worst. Also the rooms are so small.

The only good thing about the hotel is the close distance to Taksim, otherwise everything is horrible, the staff are not helpful and they do not understand English , the room is very small and the bathroom design is the most miserable design i have even seen in my life. even the sheets were not clean when we arrived.

The room was too small for me and my wife and little daughter. I asked the reservation to change the room, but they did not care at all. The service was very poor. The breakfast was terrible 🤢 There was a lot of noise coming from the street. The restaurant and reservation staff were very rude. I recommend you do not choose this hotel.❌👎🏻

Hotel location is perfect, only 3-4 min to reach Taxim Station. The receptionist who was available when we arrived in the night was unhelpful, and gave us smaller room, not the one we booked online. But the next day we met with his Manager Mr. Elhan, who was really very helpful and friendly. Honestly, Mr. Elhan made our stay comfortable. Thank you very much.

Good location

Super

Very close to taksim sequer where buses and metro are easy to get to. Resturants, shopping. Late night outings. Shops open till late. Etc. Taxies always available. Airport easy to get to buy bus which is cheaper. Only 18 turkish lera or 200 by taxi/shuttle. If u calculate it Still very cheap in pounds or euro.

Great Location. Great Breakfast. Friendly Staff. Good Prices.

The service was really good! Very personable service and a lovely hotel!

a terrible hotel, room very small, water not good,

Great location...good management..rooms a little small but modern...overall great

It is clean, comfortable bed and with enough space. It is quite noisy. You can hear the phone of the lobby plus all the activities when guess are moving and receiving room service.Nice rooftop and restaurant. Well located too. If you stay I suggest you Review visitors policy.

Breakfast was served at 8th floor where view was good. However, soup was cooked so old that I cannot eat. Only one bottle water was given for three days. Furthermore, the front desk staffs were terrible. When I checked in, they charged the room again to my credit card because they were not able to access Expedia. So I asked them to help the payment peoblem but they were so rude that they dìd not do anything.

Alles war gut. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Personal freundlich. Super Aussicht beim Frühstück. Zimmer sauber

Everything was amazing! Great value for money.

Kein Kaltes Wasser, Klima Anlage hat nicht funktioniert. Sehr enge Räume, kein Räumlichkeit.

Hotel was good and they allowed us to check in early. In general everything was very good ! I recommended it.

Güler yüLü personel.

I liked the breakfast and the perfect accessibility of the hotel

sehr guten besten Aufenthalt in istanbul guten türkischen Frühstück 3 min nähe Taksim Meydani (Platz) freundliches Personal hilfsbereite personal alles besten.

Mocht iets properder. Handdoeken waren niet ververst. Parfum van vorige gasten was aanwezig...

I didn't get the room i booked via Expedia, i had a small tiny room while i paid extra money to choose the room that fits!!

Nice location, close to Taksim square. Breakfast is served on 8th floor where you can enjoy great view of the city, also breakfast is very good with a lot of variety. Rooms are very small so they don't offer a lot of comfort.

It was a wonderful and good experience. The hotel is conveniently located and close to everything .. I just had a problem with the size of the bed. For the breakfast: varied, delicious and delicious .. Service was excellent in all respects.

The good thing its close to taksim square

was excellent and nice spot, easy to reach and good clean rooms and service
