I stayed at Fenix Inn for a last minute booking during a long weekend. The price was quite fair considering the high demand during that period. However, based on the room size, facilities, and overall cleanliness, I feel the cost could have been lower. The room was quite basic and did not fully match the price paid. Some areas could also be improved to provide a better guest experience. That said, the location is convenient and may still be suitable for short stays, especially if you need a place on short notice.

Location n the staff was helpful n friendly

Booked the same type of room as my previous visit but this time room is completely different. It's smaller n there are marks n stains on the room n toilet floor. Renovations marks n stains not clean thoroughly. Noises from the renovations on the corridors n other rooms can be heard.

Near to Mahkota Hospital, and easy to find any restaurant Staff very helpful

Kemasan bilik, dinding dan tandas semuanya bersih dan minimalist. Lantai mozek bersih dan selesa. Katil juga bersih dan empuk selesa untuk tidur. Lokasi hotel juga sangat strategik dan mudah ke lokasi pelancongan dengan berjalan kaki.

Parking terhad dan perlu parking awam di sekitar hotel dengan bayaran harian RM5.20.

I like the clean room and the good location, near to mahkota parade, dataran, mahkota hospital. it's also near to bus stop point like estadia. basically it's a walking distance to many key places.

although the room is clean, but time has caught up with them. this is an old hotel that has been around for more than 10 years. the room start to have smell. and they dont replace old towels, which has been used for 8 years - there is a label in the towel stated 2017. pls pls pls rejuvenate your hotel. probably you have a hard time during covid, but i believe u can fight back and refresh back.

But, the room is still ok, clean and comfortable.

There is no reserve parking for hotel customer, and that area is difficult to find parking lot. And there is no lift, it is not friendly to senior citizen and also those who have large luggage.

There are 2 rooms for 1 apartment. Each room has a bathroom. There is a simple kitchen equipped with necessities. There is a TV in the living room. The house faces the main road allowing you to see the traffic conditions to plan your trip

Each room is not equipped with a mirror. It is a bit difficult to tidy yourself up because only the bathroom has a mirror. Iron is not provided in the apartment, but in the space outside the room there is one provided for sharing. Car parking is also not provided, you have to park far away and pay.

Its a budget hotel and dont expect more. Staff really helps. location very convenience, walk away to centre attraction bandar hilir. Will repeat again.

Dapat bilik sebelah bilik laundry. Almost 6 pagi tu dah bunyi pintu bilik laundry tu berlentum. Kitanya penat, nak bangun lewat sikit tapi tu laa. Bila dah terjaga memang tak boleh tidur 🥹

Short stay is acceptable. Location is quite nice, around 20min by walk to Jonker Street. Restaurants around(fast food, Nyoyak caffe, food court, souvenirs shop).

No had lift for who bring along huge luggage is inconvenient to climb up stairs. Cups in room is not clean, need do sterilization self

The location is very good , near to all the tourist attractions such as jonker street and near to mahkota parade shopping centre. There is also security at the front door. WiFi is very strong.

There is no lift at the hotel. There is no glass door partition between the showerhead and toliet bowl so the toliet bowl area gets wet during shower

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel located right in the heart of Malacca! It’s surrounded by all the major attractions and everything is just within walking distance which made it super convenient to explore the city without needing any transport. The room was clean, comfortable, and definitely worth the price I paid. It had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly too, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended if you want a strategic location, cleanliness, and great value for money! I’ll definitely come back again.

The hotel does not have a lift, so it may not be suitable for elderly guests or anyone with knee problems, especially if your room is on a higher floor. Also, basic amenities like a toothbrush are not provided, so you’ll need to bring your own.

I had difficulty getting the right water temperature, the water tend to get very hot even though it’s at the maximum cold.

it was very close to dp and jonker walk, the staff were friendly. this is my sec time here, the first time i booked airbnb which was sooo nice and we got the privacy we wanted. recently i booked only the room but it wasnt as nice as the airbnb. great for the price so we couldnt expect much from it

the room was a bit smelly and i can hear people from outside the room VERY CLEAR. we aint got no privacy but it was a budget hotel so its okay i dont mind honestly.
