Metz Pratunam Hotel

The staff are very helpful in assisting us! The room is clean and comfy. Thank you for making our stay in BKK an enjoyable one!

Location is great. Short walk from many street for and Platinum Mall. Staff members are extremely helpful

Nice property, good service staff

Really enjoyed my staff. The staff was very welcoming and friendly

Excellent service! Metz Pratunam Hotel has always been my go-to place whenever I am travelling to Bangkok because of the strategic location for a tourist to commute and shop. The staff was really helpful and friendly during our check-in and check-out session. In fact, one of the male staff speaks really good English so language isn't even a barrier for us whenever we are there. Would strongly recommend to stay here if you have travelling to Bangkok!

The service is so good, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I very recommend this hotel if you want stay near pratunam market, and near shopping area.🩷🩷. The hotel is very clean, I stay here for 6 days with my family, clean room.🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

The staff would greet us even it’s midnight of the day, provided welcome drink and goodbye Snack. Would come here again

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Everything was ok in the room except not very sound proof. Location was great as well. Was also pleasantly surprise that there was complimentary dessert served when we check out too. :)

We are in Bangkok right now, we stayed here for our first 3 nights. This is a nice place to stay if you are here for long and on budget place is clean staff is kind and they have basic things available in room. Location 📍 is very good as this place is accessible from market mall and 7/11

Went there to meet some friends who invited me for breakfast. Nice, little cozy boutique hotel. However, its very difficult to find a parking lot there, I had to park a far distance away and walked some 10-15 mins to the hotel. The breakfast was normal fare but the staff was very friendly.

The location of the hotel is superb. short walking distance to Pratunam morning and night markets. Lots of eateries nearby and around the hotel. Also walking distance (by crossing the overhead bridge) to get to Platinum Shopping Mall, Centra Mall and the Big C Supermart. Checking in was easy and quick. Most of the rooms met our expectation, reasonable size except Room 605 which is exceptional small and cramp for 2 pax. The room, bath, toilet are clean. The sheets and towels are clean and sparkling white. The bed is big (king size). The bed and the pillow are comfortable. The necessary amenities are provided. The hotel has a lift. The staff are helpful and friendly and they speak good english. The breakfast was sufficient with a lot of choices. Would definitely recommend to friends and relatives and would stay here again. Cons: The road outside the hotel is too congested and traffic jam. No place to stop for pickup or drop-off. Would be feasible if converted to one way street. Proper walk path or foot path needed for pedestrians and to ensure pedestrians safety.

Very nice and quiet place. Near to The shopping areas

It is an older hotel. That is renovated on the outside and partially on the inside. My stay was good. It is clsoe the many amenites e.g bus stations, train stations, Pratunam night market.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. We just felt welcome and like home. Bed and room is cosy.

Stayed here twice in different rooms. Rooms were OK although a few hairs on top of bed was weird and the linen was getting a bit worn. Good location 10-15 minute walk to payathai train to airport, quieter street, fairly good value for money. But there are some cons - safes in neither room worked; sinks wouldn't give any hot water and plugs don’t work; Avoid room 301 as it has lots of street noise and toilet smells of cooking exhaust. Certainly if you want a good cheap option (I got a room for AUD$50 a night!) that's no frills this will do the job. I guess there are jusr a lot of other options in BKK so this might no tbe my first choice next time around.

I stayed last year on September here everything was great, Nice rooms, helpful staff. mainly location is great can go any where easily. front office staff very helpful. food also good at breakfast time.

10 minute walk to airport train, 15 to malls. definitely consider. quiet location

Affordable and convenient location. Have always been booking this hotel and they never fail to meet up to my expectation. Very friendly staff as well!

good location & friendly staffs

The location is great

Location ok...walking distance to pratunam morning market (within 3 mins) but to platinum fashion mall need 10mins.. Hotel within 2 mins hv foot massage & 7-11. C/in day aircond not function well after report next day send staff for checking and service..prompt action Hotel breakfast simple and every day was same But coffee was nice..if you just look for a cup of coffee with bread then is ok..otherwise suggest book for room only.

Really friendly stafff. Great location and really nice breakfast

Strategic location, clean room.Room a bit small. Helpful staff, they will attend to you whenever you need any assistance. Outside the hotel surrounding got many shops and restaurants which is easily accessable

Overall is a ok hotel. Room is fine, basic and clean!. The only problem is the pillow is too soft and flat. Their aircond in certain room is facing the bed which caused unable to have a good sleep.

This is a small hotel in a good location. Close to Pratunam and Platinum Fashion Mall. There are a number of restaurants and around the area. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is limited choices.

Great hotel. Location was good as it is walking distance from Pratunam market, Platinum Mall and Neon night market. Also, there were a 7-11 and family mart located nearby. Room was great with an amazing view. Hotel staffs were very fast and efficient. Definitely would stay here again next time.

Located at middle of Pratunam Market, surrounded by eataries, shoppingss, foodss, convenient storess and alot of good massages. The room design is different from the other, the toilet & bath is separated which i found it is quite convenient, when one of you need to use the loo and the other can bath (we cant afford to waste time in the hotel when you are in BKK!) I never try their breakfast, as good breakfast is just step away at the alley!

comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff

For those who like to shop but still want some quiet and nice sleep then this maybe your choice. The hotel is located in the residential part of Pratunam Market and during night time it is really quiet although several hundreds walk there is a night market that the tourists like to cruise. There are also plenty of food stalls a few minutes walk. The hotel itself was not big and not easy to find it as the hotel signage is quite small. Just ask people around there where is Watergate hotel and it is just in front of Watergate hotel. The lobby is small and almost no place to sit except the restaurant chairs. The staffs are good but not the best. There are two free PC at lobby area but if you want to print your paper then you need to pay 10 Baht per piece. There is a small lift beside the toilet. The room is not big and huge luggages may find so difficulty to put. The bed is soft and nice. The shower cubicle and toilet is separated between the sink. Free two bottles of water per day. Also free tea and coffee with kettle. The Wifi is quite strong and a huge plasma TV in every room. The nice thing of this hotel is the quietness. The bad thing is the breakfast. Only bread and fruits, tea or coffee. Don't expect sausage or eggs, they never have it. The best option is pay your room only. In Bangkok there are plenty of nice breakfast to choose, from traditional to western. Anyway, well recommended for those who spend most of the day outside but need a nice and quiet place the sleep.

clean hotel and money with value

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel within 4 months. A great disappointment to know upon arrival that hotel has changed their breakfast menu, removing Sunnyside up eggs, sausages, salad and daily main dish effective Sept 2018. Not knowing about the change, my booking was purchased with breakfast inclusive and it was cumbersome to go through the cancelation and refund through Expedia, however hotel gave us cash refund out of their own pocket first which was extremely very nice of them. Overall, the room was still as clean as my previous stay. Bed is very soft and comfy. Beware that the lane leading from the main road to the hotel is rather congested so be prepared to look out for 2 way vehicles when you are walking. Nearby there are many massage parlours for selection and Pratunum Shopping Mall, City Complex & many others. With the quality, location and value added rate that one is paying, I will still select this hotel for my next trip.

overall is good but the breakfast can be improve. Please don't everyday same thing.

Dishonest hotel: DO NOT BOOK WITH CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. Paid around 700 baht extra for 5 days for their “continental” breakfast but was instead forced to be refunded 150 baht for my 5 night’s stay because of “breakfast menu change”. There’s no other option besides signing their refund form. I looked at the staff and she looked at me, and I couldn’t check in until i signed. Apparently the option is still available on Expedia. After calculation, it seems we were paying 110 baht a day for toast and jam. You can easily head outside to get 40 baht noodles with hot soup. WiFi: We were lucky we were on unlimited data. The WiFi was super slow, and sometimes unable to connect to it. Better off using our data. Lousy rooms: Bed was noisy, when you move around the bed, it squeaks. TV box was taped to the wall and kept popping out because the tape was not sticking anymore. Toilet and shower were clean. Lobby: Exiting your room going down to the lobby, you’d smell a strong stench coming from the level 1 toilet. This is especially strong at night. Lights are off in the lobby at night, probably to make you head straight to your rooms. Good location: Just outside the hotel is a taxi service charging around 400 baht to the airport. It cost us around 600 baht from the airport. Able to take it to places like Chatuchak Weekend Market as well. Walking distance (10-15 minutes) to Platinum Fashion Mall, Pantip Plaza, Pratunam Market, Palladium Mall/ Night Market,

Comparison: However, hotels like Vince Hotel or NAP provides buggy service out of the alleys. Pakdee hotel is located just outside the alleys.

This hotel is at strategy location , nearby Platinum mall & etc . Hotel is clean , Quiet , Good & Friendly Service from Staff (counter). Overall is a choice to stay .. if you don mind the room is abit small.

Location is good, walkable to shops in Pratunam. 7-Eleven and Family Mart nearby. Room is Super small (I didn’t even know how to take a photo) although can’t really complain as room price is cheap. Many Massage parlours nearby.

I was amazed with what this hotel has to offer. The hotel’s expectations was more than what we payed for and we are genuinely happy! The bed is so comfortable and it was a king size bed just for the both of us. Shower was clean and hot water is amazing! We did not expect breakfast at this hotel as we thought it was budget... but the breakfast was not too shabby at all! Only a little hiccup while we were there was, the standard room we booked was given to another guest but they were kind enough to upgrade us but told us that we have to check out on our standard room the next day & we were fine with it. The next day at breakfast, the concierge informed us that our room was ready for check in and we told them we would check in right after we’re done eating b.fast. As we went up to pack our things to move, to our SHOCK! The cleaner staff had already budged into our room and started cleaning everything up while our bags were fully opened and cash lying everywhere without anyone informing us beforehand. This really spoiled our holiday mood but I hope the manager will look into this.. overall.. will stay here again. Oh and this place is walking distance to platinum mall and pratunam night market. Just 10 walking mins away:)

Location of the hotel is really good as it’s just a few minutes walk away from the malls there! Staff was a little quiet but yet still very welcoming! Rooms are worth the price as it is not a 5-star hotel anyway.. The bed is very very comfy till I even missed a breakfast! No problems with air-con or hot water which is very rare to see in a 3-star hotel!! Breakfast was delicious! Maybe should set up a proper egg station for it..

(+) perfect location, very central, a walking distance to several malls around. rooms were very cosy, a little tight as it was very small but the design made use of every corners so plenty of places to place stuffs. the rooms were cleaned daily, water was given for free, wifi was stable and if you have takeaways you could simply eat them at the restaurant space on the ground floor (some hotels don't allow this). staffs were pleasant and friendly. the hotel seems new so they provide what a modern hotel would - adapter, hair dryer, shampoos, kettle, etc. (-) the shower is so inconsistent, its either too hot or too cold.. no in betweens. don't get why they need a deposit for a second key, the room is for two persons! you might see some rats running around the neighbourhood too.

Good location with comfortable stay. Only cons is room insulation need to improve.

Very good hotel, quiet and away from the chaotic market. Breakfast was simple and good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Except the pillow was abit too soft and flat.

I stayed for 3 nights, though this hotel has very thin wall as if your neighbor in the next door whisper, you could hear the whispering. However, I still think that it is good for the price we paid. Not everyone tend to have a couple who do not talk in normal volume but tend to shout at each other at 12am. We are lucky that the hotel staff did greet them for the noise. the location of this hotel is marvelous!!! It is good to me as I don't mind walk 5-10mins to get to my stayed hotel from the main and noisy road. I like its location as it is very easy access to massage parlour, food vendor, 24hr mini mart.. and etc.. 3nights there and the price paid is equivalent to just 1 night stay at 5star hotel!!! Good!!

Super Friendly staff, reasonable rooms, easy to get around, many massage shops around

This hotel was so good have varieties of breakfast and quiet near to pratunam morning market, but some staff unfriendly and doesn’t spoke english, some staff like not welcome to us, but actually the hotel was so good since near from pratunam

1) Location - 20mins walk to BTS, APL, Central World and Big C. - 10mins walk to Pratunam Market, Platinum Mall. - Fabulous choice of massage parlors. 2) Room - Small but cosy. - Good that the toilet, basin and shower area is separated. - Limited TV channels with bad reception. - Aircon not very strong. 3) Limited breakfast buffet spread but adequate.

clean but tv was not working due to cable issues.. otherwise everything is good

Stayed here for 3D2N. Have to say that i am very impressed with the location of the hotel. Very near to major shopping malls in the area.room was okay but showing sign of wear and tear. There are 7-11 and familymart nearby the hotel not to mention many massage shops nearby

Nice hotel and delicious breakfast, walking distance to pratunam market, helpful and caring staff will assist you anytime

Overall experience to Metz hotel is very good. short walking distance to 7-11, and not far away from Pratunam market or Platinum mall. Massage center is all around this area.

Shower water not hot, drainage of toilet stuck . Breakfast not much choice. Taxi or grab hard to find this place. But staff very friendly and nice!

The staff were nice and they even let us check in early. They cleaned our rooms daily and the location of the hotel is good. Close to many night markets and Platinum Mall. Breakfast was ok. Gets boring after awhile because they serve almost the same dishes. TV had only one channel with no English subs but really, it is still ultimately a very comfortable hotel.

Clean hotel. Friendly hotel crew. Acceptable hotel location

Hot water heater not really working. No constant hot water during showering. Intermittent hot and cold water.

Staff was well trained in English. Good in service and nice location also :)

You have everything nearby but a little tough to get a cab or grab car at the hotel due to traffic jam

as mention by other, hot water issue. clean room and good location for shopping and massage. about 20minute from/to airport link and need at least 10-20minute walk to nearby BTS station.

Staff is friendly. Location is great. Wi-Fi is stable.breakfast is provided

Walking distance to Central World, Siam Paragon and other shopping mall thru sky walk. Breakfast limited choice but taste is good.

I was allocated the Room 203 for my 4 nights stay in this hotel and overall is good. The refrigerator inside the room was not working at all. The Wifi hard to connect in the room and I used my own mobile data for browsing internet.

Nice breakfast although not much variety. Cozy place for rest after a day's shopping.

We had mixed feelings at the time of booking the hotel but chose it on the basis of reviews. When we reached, we were pleasantly surprised.Although it is quite small,it was compensated by other benefits such as english knowledge of the staff, cleanliness and courtesy. Breakfast was same on both the days . Nothing grand but not bad either.Indian travellers would find it a bit difficult because of lack of vegetarian dishes. The main pratunam shopping market is within 5 minutes walk and so is a KFC and MCDonalds. The rooms could have been bigger but they have done the best with the space available. The staff at the reception particularly Raju and Khon were helpful and spoke english quite well.Would have rated much higher but for the room sizes and breakfast spread.

The room was too small, no space to walk after put in our luggage. The water stuck inside the wash room. Breakfast limited.

Hotel is very clean, and the service that hotel provide make me feel warm

It is a budget place to stay in, as the room are not that sound proof as you can hear other room voice. It was a best place on location if you want to visit market nearby.

Noisy room however staff changed a new room for my 3 nights stay. consider the most far behind location of Pratunam.

Friendly staff and good services! Accessible and Convenient location! It's so much easier after you get to know your way, 24hrs stores all around the area

we stay here for 3 nights. Walking distance to siam paragon, big C, central world, pratunam market and platinum fashion mall and etc. A lot of food nearby with walking distance.. the service of the staff hotel is good. Taxi is all around pratunam.

nice stay

at end corner, have to walk 10 min to pratunum market. place is quiet

Nice stay, friendly staff. Near the night markets and food streets. Just a tip: Do not take taxi when going to floating market as they will just send you to a far away location that has costly rent of boats, we were being offered of a boat that cost 2000 - 3000 baht per person so we refused to rent it plus we were charged via meter of the taxi for a whooping 1800 baht. Talking about taking advantage of the tourist. It is better to get a tour from your hotel and deal with the early morning schedule rather than taking it by yourself and ended with this kind of rubbish scam. Another thing is, the Siam Paragon is just almost at the back of the Platinum Mall so you can just walk from that Mall going to that place.

The staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, breakfast was simple but fresh, and they were nice enough to give us another complimentary drink the afternoon before we left! Overall a good experience. Getting to the hotel can be a little difficult, needed to walk through some dingy lanes but otherwise it was a good location, just a short walk to platinum mall.

Overall a clean & cozy hotel. Located at little alley of pratunam shopping area. Only sound proof is bad, can cleary heard sound from talking sound from next room and coridoor whole day. Hope it can be improve.

Room given was rather small. Service is good. Place is near morning market. Getting from airport to hotel takes quite awhile via foot after alighting the skyline.

The hotel was right by some publilc transportation, a 7-11, a ton of food, and of course Pratunam Market. I took maybe 2-3 cabs during my week long stay because everything was so close. Not to mention, the BTS is like a 10 minute walk away. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious, and the staff was great. I highly recommend it.

I can not fault the Metz Pratunam at all. The staff were warm and friendly. Eager to help. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. I was on the 3rd floor, the stairs were good to use and there was a lift too. Breakfast was basic but tasty. All in all well worth the price. If I return to Bangkok, Metz Pratunam will be the first place I try to book a room in!

The hotel Metz Prutunum is strategically located where both traditional shopining areas (Prutunum and Platinum malls) and European style malls (Worldcenter) are within walking distance. The front desk are exceptionally helpful, always smiling and saying "hello" and also, and very importantly, very fluent in English!!! The room I stayed in was very clean so its being small did not bother me much. Amenities are limited but I enjoyed the free bottled waters. The TV was not alright; I guess no vacationer cares to sit in the room and watch TV anyways!!

Double thumbs up for Metz. I was in Metz 9-11 Jan and when i arrived home on 11 Jan, i realized that i have lost my wallet. My best guess was that i might have left it in the hotel room or if not, lost it in the streets of Bangkok. I made a called to Metz at about 3am in the morning and explained my situation to the reception over there. As the hotel manager was already off work, i was told to give them a call back in the morning about 9am and that he will also follow up on this issue. Feeling worried, i also wrote an email direct to the hotel manager, Mr.Vitiravudh At about 8am in the morning, i received a call from the hotel informing me that indeed my wallet has been left in the hotel and that they will safeguard the wallet until i have made alternative arrangements to pick up the wallet from the hotel. Mr Vitiravudh, had been especially helpful following up closely with me via email and phone. I am very thankful for the team of staff in Metz, not only for their honesty and hospitality, but also for the affordability and the close proximity to amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel should you want to stay in the Pratunam area in bangkok. Double thumbs up and great job Metz! P/s : Oh by the way, yes i have already retrieved my wallet from the hotel.. :)

10-15 minutes walk to platinum mall and Pratunam market. Room condition was great and comfortable to sleep! Although the room is quite small for me to place my luggage n nowhere to eat in the room. Head over to lobby to chill and have your food and drinks there. 2mins walk to 7 eleven. They change bed sheet n towel everyday. Service provided was great and English speaker.

Staffs are helpful and have good services. Room is small, signboard too small, not easy to find for 1st time customer. Good location, convenient for shopping, especially late / early shopping at Pratunam area.

Hotel is away from main road, so if coming in by taxi, driver might be confused. But, because away from main road, it is relatively quiet. It is also near a 24h convenience shop, so ideal if you run out of basic necessities in the middle of the night. Hassle free check-in too!

Small hotel but has everything necessary. I liked the design that it separates bathroom, toilet and washing area. Speeds up washing up time. Room is big for a boutique budget hotel for 2. Service is prompt and homely. They offer fresh milk for morning coffee and tea and delivered it to our room daily. We even received dried bananas which I believed is homemade as it is not artificially sweetened, upon check out!

We having a pleasant time staying at the hotel. We arrived a bit late due to the flight delay and has been offer upgrade to the better room. Breakfast was OK and love this hotel because it is easy access to the city center. For those who loves shopping this would be a good place for you. Near to the platinum Fashion Mall, just walking distance to the pratunam market and near to the 7 elevens . Breakfast was pretty decent and near to night market as well. For Muslim travelers it is easier for you to get halal food as it is near few halal restaurants and stall...Will definitely come again and loves the attentiveness of the staff as well! Good Job!

Nice and clean hotel to stay. Hotel staff friendly and services reliable as well.

I stayed for two nights. They allowed me to check in three hours early, and I was so appreciative of that. I got a free upgrade because they were all out of standard rooms, too. The room was very clean and unique. Internet connection is strong. The hotel employees are extremely friendly and always smiling. Their central location in Pratunam and good, hot breakfast completes my 5-star rating!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and it was a cozy place to be in

When staying in Bangkok, you don't really have to stay at swanky posh hotels. Imho just a good clean safe cosy hotel would suffice and Metz met my needs.

I'm stay 3 night here for short vacation, this hotel quite convenient to shopping..value for it

They were honest and mafe a phone call to return 8000 baht cash when we left it in the room upon check out.

Hotel location is good, 10 minutes walk to Platinum Fashion Mall, many massage parlours around(though not all of them are good), 7-Eleven is a stone throw away. The hotel is very simple with all basic amenities that you need from a hotel stay. However, I find that the bed and pillows are not very comfortable, but with the price I paid, can't expect too much. With all the shopping and massages available in Bangkok, I didn't even have the time to turn on the TV in the room! This hotel really serves the purpose to a real good shopping trip; spend all the time and money outside, come back for a good rest and continue again the next day.

i have booked 2 rooms without window. due to each level have only one, we lived in separate floors. Nice staff, i was lucky to have Korean neighbor . the walls are very thin and the alarm from room next to me can be heard.its not located in the main busy road ( calm place but a little dark for alone female traveler. clean place and a very big bed enough for a couple with a little kid

We just stay there one night, but overall it was a very nice experience.

Only 1 room key card per room. Additional key card need pay deposit. Staff not that friendly, breakfast very little choice. Nearby environment so many dust and construction.

Nothing to criticize as the hotel is still new that's why everything is under good condition. The hotel staffs are so friendly, the moment we reached they served us with welcome drink. The location is accessible to many shopping malls, such as Plantinum mall, Central World, etc. The room is simple and modern, the bed is comfy and the double bed is bigger than a normal king bed :) The only thing is that the breakfast not much variety...

This is a reasonable price budget hotel with clean room and bathroom. Location is by bangkok shopping district if you just want to buy cheap mid range clothing. ATM, food and massages near by but about at least 20 minutes from bets. Could be far to walk under hot sun.

Stayed here for 5 nights, good value for money, room was clean and easy to use.
