Reviewed Sep 19, 2026L’endcadrement chouette - beaux carrelages partout- ancien bâtiment - très très propre - Bouchra à l’accueil et Lilia au petit déjeuner - très gentille, accueillant et super sympa, je recommande et on va retourner - location idéale dans le Marais près de chouette restos dans le coin. Vraiment content.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Vacker inredning. Skön säng och AC på rummet. Tyst. Frukostbuffen var god men det fanns väldigt lite av varje sak, de gäster som kom efter oss fick därför mycket mindre att välja på.
Oentusiastisk personal i receptionen. Rummet var VÄLDIGT litet. Kunde inte öppna resväskan liggandes. Fjärrkontrollen till AC var borttagen så den gick ej att styra. De vill att man lämnar i nyckeln i receptionen vilket ju inte är något problem, men helt öppet hänger sedan alla nycklar till rummen så när man ber om nyckeln tillbaka utan extra kontroll gör det att tjuvar enkelt hade kunnat ha fri tillgång till rummet.

And the location was perfect-very convenient. Quiet area with lots to do and see. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return.

Et puis sur un sourire la réception de l’hôtel nous upgrade et nous offrent des nougats !! Le reste du séjour ne pouvait être que parfait ! Ce fut le cas. Bravo; nous avons trouvé « notre » hôtel pour tous nos futurs séjours Parisiens !!

La nuit est beaucoup trop chère pour la chambre donnée. 400€ la nuit pour un lit de 160 pour deux. Pas possible de s’assoir correctement sur les toilettes car pas de place pour les jambes et je fais 160cm… l’hôtel en lui même est bien mais ça ne vaut pas plus de 150€ la nuit

No - it was barely blowing and wasn't cold, and our room was hotter than it was outside. we also had no fridge so we couldn't store our cheeses from france, and they didn't replace it

Room was a little small and tight - and air con was switched off - top floor room got hot. Grout in bathroom could do with a steam clean and re mastik in places - but minor niggles

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Amazing location, the beds were comfortable and the hotel was charming. My mother enjoys fashion and nice stores and this hotel is situated in the heart of the best stores in the Le Marais, so it was very pleasant to walk around the neighbourhood.
Very small room, the toilet and bath were separated in different rooms and the window overlooked a wall in an inner courtyard that made the room feel a bit claustrophobic and dark. It doesn't really feel like a 4 star hotel, more like a 3 star hotel to me, and i felt that it was a bit too expensive for the offering. The view was a major downside for me personally, but im sure it would be unimportant for other people.

Väldigt små rum, man fick möblera om väskan varje gång man skulle in och ut ur badrummet. Relativt liten säng som var ganska hård. AC stod på 18 men var snarare 28 grader vilket gjorde det väldigt svårt att sova. Ena dagen dök inte frukostpersonalen upp och sista dagen när vi skulle åka hem 7.30 var frukosten inte i närheten av färdig när vi skulle äta, den skulle vara mellan 7-10. Dyrt för vad man fick även om läget är Toppen.

unfriendly check in and out, dangerous steep stairs right outside room, tiny tiny room, shower did not work properly and only had HOT water, soap tray falling off wall, no remotes for either TV or heating unit - receptionist could have cared less and was only interested in making sure I paid the city tax. Off and on I have been staying at the Hotel Saintonge for 25 years and have recommended it countless times. No more

La habitación era extremadamente pequeña. Tenía que salir del edificio y andar por una terraza para acceder a ella. Lo peor de todo es que fue muy ruidosa y apenas pude dormir por los ruidos de la habitación.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026Etablissement intimiste de 20 chambres seulement, fort recommandable, personnel trés prévenant et souriant, déco kitch , mais chambre douillette et confortable, petit dejeuner délicieux et original, établissement pour les gourmands, car des nougats et du café sont proposés en libre service.On se sent comme à la maison.
Les lieux sont un peu exigus, chambres et espaces communs, mais les locaux sont ainsi faits, on ne peut rien y changer .

Reviewed Dec 22, 2025The location in Marais is great - highly recommend. The staff were also very welcoming, efficient and very helpful. The size was quite good for Paris.
Our air con had a really bad smell and was incredibly loud, so we had to turn it off. The bathroom was riddled with mould. We were in the ground level room, with disabled access, which meant the shower was completely open, leaving the entire bathroom wet without any ventilation.

There is no sound proofing in the rooms. The walls are paper thin, the stone floors mean that you can hear people in the rooms above and next door, the iron fittings on the doors mean that it is very noisy when the people in the next door rooms go in and out of their rooms. The noise would wake us up in the night and in the morning. The rooms were too hot and we were told the temperature could not be adjusted. We had to open the window in December to get some air, as the room was stifling hot.

Alles ist extrem eng, verbaut und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. für ein Doppelzimmer sehr schmales Bett.
