Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Houston Downtown

The noise from the streets were loud couldn't sleep Room was very small not much space to move around also the water pressure was a joke. Bathroom itself has no space to get ready no space to put makeup bag or anything, Sink was small and water was dripping on my feet while washing my face. Front desk was very nice and friendly. Parking was empty no issues.

Bed was. Clean comfortable the lobby was nice and open air.

The check in was horrible. I prepaid for my room and thw front desk clerk was not able to find my room and had to call help. After quite some time they found my room through a credit card audit. I checked into a room on the 5th floor. The beds did not have pillows nor a top comforter. I had to he moved to a room on the 11th floor. Only 1 bed had a set of pillows. Someone had to come in and scrape some goo off the bathroom wall. I was not aware there was a $300 deposit for incidentals. I used my CashApp card and called to follow up on the pending charge. To my surprise I was told that CashApp does not get the credit back. No one told me that was the case when my card was used. This was my family's first time in Houston, which everything else was a great experience except everything about this hotel. The $300 deposit not being refunded was the last straw.

Location and staff

It is undergoing repairs and our room looked in disrepair. The room key cards kept going out

La nouveauté des équipements!!

Petit dejeuner pas top

Good location for public transport Good fitness centre

Small toom for 4 Limited breakfast Poor reception facilities , no available water or coffee

It was close to where I needed to go

There was a dead cockroach in the room, also it was too noisy you could hear everything from outside of the room. The restroom door did not lock you couldn’t go to the restroom or take a shower comfortably. The bed was not good at all not comfortable the sheets were dirty too. Would not stay here at all find somewhere else.

Clean, organized, good staff, close of Metrô, good air conditioning, well equipped room. Parking paid but good even for leisure and large trucks.

Hotel cómodo y limpio. Muy bueno en función precio / calidad. Gracias

Nada.

Het hotel lag in Downtown (Centrum)

Heel, heel erg karig ontbijt, erg eenzijdig!

Desayuno

The staff was nice. The beds were comfortable.and the room was clean.

Kind of needs to be remodeled. Offer snacks and drinks in the lobby or anywhere on the property

Location, bed was comfortable and staff were great

Under construction, dirty, load and brown water came out shower

The room was nice. The bed was comfortable! The TV was really nice!

There was no where to get ice or sodas!! We did have an ice bucket. I didn't like the staffer that didn't tell us that the Shuttle she knew e were waiting for was running late and didn't bother to tell me until I asked her.

Good location.

N/A

Should have mentioned the hotel is under renovation

Location

Josh at Front desk he was very helpful

Indico com certeza. Hotel novinho. Quarto excelente.

Perfeito tudo arrumadinho limpo piso frio excelente

Location and price/quality.

Service at the front desk is very bad. I am struggling to get an invoice for my stay despite talking to them directly on the phone and with booking. First time a hotel doesn't want to give me an invoice in 25 years travelling. Very weird!

Location, only.

The rate was too high and did not provide quality service.

The room was comfortable and spacious.

The hotel was under construction which meant that there was only a reception downstairs. There was dust everywhere. The restaurant was closed. The breakfast was appalling, the juice machine was broken and the coffee was burnt. Staff were obviously having to cope, but we were not informed of the renovations even through we booked around 4 weeks in advance. The internet went down while were there due to them fixing it on our floor. The guys doing the work said- sorry we didn't realise you were there. I would want a refund of our fees.

The hotel staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful.

The hotel is currently under construction and renovation, so it does not look like a proper hotel. This was not mentioned anywhere during the booking process. On the contrary, the photos showed a well-maintained hotel, which was very misleading compared to the construction site we arrived at. When we got there, I honestly thought we had the wrong address. There were workers around at all times, construction dust, and even a crane in the middle of the lobby. Additionally, the breakfast was extremely poor - far below what is expected from a Holiday Inn by IHG.

Nothing in a HOLIDAY INN one would expect for the price paid for the stay.

It was very disappointing for me and my family: 1)The room is very noisy throughout the day and night - window panes are not insulating outside sound at all. 2)Several floors on the hotels are under construction - we could hear hammering sounds through the day, smell of paints, dirt and debris at many points. 3)Breakfast was in a makeshift room which was not ideal for having food. 4)Quality of breakfast is not what is expected from a HOLIDAY INN Brand. 5)Struggled to connect to internet through wifi - one of the staff helped in contacting the service provider and set-it up on our phones. 6) Lifts were in poor condition, most of the time we access through service lifts. Lifts were open to access to anyone which means it was insecure as anyone could come to the floor. 7)The Air Conditioner cut-off sound is so loud it can wake a person from the sleep.

Zero service zero parking to check in. Location was in a very bad part of town.

Buona posizione, e parcheggio comodo

The room was excellent. Great bed and bathroom. Staff very responsive.

The hotel is under construction and the elevator situation was not comfortable . Location was not accessible to restaurants or drug stores.

I liked the location of of Hotel because it was near the event I was attending.

Price for the parking, noise of waking Me up, & elevator stuffinesses with no air

Limpieza

El desayuno

It was what I expected and a good stay.

I like that they had an on site parking deck, but the parking spots were just to tight and close in proximity to each other. The parking is awful and not enough handicapped parking spaces.

Vicinity to the Toyota Center.

Parking is limited. There was renovations happening but no mention of this on the website.

Room was clean.

Room wasn't ready, over an hour delay. Shuttle unreliable, forced to walk everywhere. Included breakfast was laughable. Facilities were lacking, dated, in need of repair.

Clean

Good price for downtown location. Fair price for parking and on site shuttle service.

Middle of renovation and 1 elevator working on busy Saturday weekend.

Everything is easy and personnel are very helpful and kind.

Nothing, it was exactly as I expected. That's where I stay anytime I'm in Downtown Houston.

Waffles on the breakfast were very good.

The overall customer service and cleanliness of the room exceeded my expectations.

Nothing.

Very friendly staff

Cold coffee in cafe

Shuttle service

Wifi

Friendly helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms and lobby. Great location!

Nothing

The location for Houston Rodeo is fabulous

The parking was horrible, but they did say it was under construction. The bathroom sinks are too small, un able to keep items around it.

Elevadores obsoletos. No habia variedad de desayunos

Great location, good sized rooms, nice breakfast.

Unfortunately the evening restaurant and bar no longer open so this was disappointing.

breakfast great / check-in great / service awesome / parking directions EXCEPTIONAL by on-site staff

nothing

Good staff and the cleanliness of room and area where it was located.

I liked everything

Location close to work office

$30 /day parking fee

Otaq təmiz idi, səhər yeməyi yaxşı idi

Otağın əvvəldən 30 kvadrat metr olduğu yazılmışdı, amma bizə ən kiçik otağı vermişdilər,heç 20 kvadrat metr olmazdı, baqajları açmağa yer az idi.

Location Spotlessly clean

Breakfast room was dark and dour.

lage, Sauberkeit
