Es bonito el casco de la.hacienda

Realmente no tiene tantas instalaciones pero tiene una gran relación calidad-precio.

La ubicación y el lugar es muy bonito, además de tranquilo.

Muy poca higiene. El baño estaba sucio, evidentemente no lo limpiaron, pues había orina de varias horas (si no es que días), y una toalla sucia, también pelos en el desagüe. Parecía que las cobijas también. Daba la impresión de que solo habían acomodado un poco el lugar y tendido las camas. Además priorizamos este lugar como opción por la alberca, pero tampoco estaba en funcionamiento. Otro detalle es que había goteras.

Las instalaciones

El estilo único de tener un tapanco dentro de la habitación, el hecho de que tenga estacionamiento dentro de las instalaciones

La iluminación era muy poca en la habitación y excesiva en el baño, además los interruptores para las luces estaban configurados de manera dificil de memorizar. Había un fuerte olor a caño que venía desde el baño.

No servía la alberca

Su arquitectura antigua y su buena conservación.

Habia gatos en el edificio.

Un lugar simplemente hermoso los encargados brindan una atención excepcional

No había agua caliente y el aire acondicionado dejo de funcionar una noche , las tv demaciado pequeñas para el tamaño del cuarto .

El lugar es precioso, ese toque de hacienda nos encantó

Que no tuvieran servicio de comida. Al menos deberían tener un servicio sencillo de cafetería o habilitar una cafetera en la habitación.

It is a beautiful,well kept property, the location is perfect for walking downtown to the horse parade and touring the city. It was very special to stay in this historic building while visiting Colima. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

La alberca no funcionaba y el jardín está muy descuidado

Todo me gustó de este hotel. Buena ubicación, a poca distancia del mercado y la plaza central de Colima. El personal es muy servicial y atento. Nos hospedamos una noche en la suite presidencial, que estuvo a muy buen precio. La limpieza es excelente, los muebles y la decoración son de estilo hacienda antigua pero en perfecto estado. Además el hotel tiene amplias áreas verdes y una pequeña alberca. Es muy tranquilo a cualquier hora del día y la noche. Estacionamiento privado, dentro del mismo hotel. Lo mejor es que es pet-friendly, hay gatitos en las áreas comunes, que convivieron bien con nuestro gato

El hotel está hermoso, las habitaciones amplías y cómodas, y el personal fue muy atento

El mini split es pequeño para el tamaño de la habitación y no se sentía tan fresco, y el agua de la piscina estaba un poco sucia

Nos gustó las instalaciones, y las antigüedades, algunos muebles muy bonitos.

El lugar era limpio pero si le falta más limpieza, nos encontramos animalitos en la cama nos dijeron que era polilla, pero no creemos ,desconocemos, nos cambiaron de habitacion.no pudimos entrar a la alberca ,tenía ramas y tierra. Pienso que booking deveria de revisar las instalaciones antes de promover. El precio no concuerda con la calidad y ubicación.

Elegí este hotel por ser pet friendly. Pero la verdad es que volvería también sin mascota. Una casa hermosa, bien restaurada, cómoda y funcional a sólo tres cuadras del jardín principal de Colima.

This is a very quaint hotel. The lovely ladies that were at the desk when I arrived went out of their way to help me.

Really fantastic renovated hacienda. Old world charm with modern amenities. Stayed for two nights. In the centro district on a quiet street one block from countless restaurants.

Even though the room we booked was paid for in full, when we arrived, we were informed that they had rented it to someone who walked in off the street. We booked the room the night before, so there was ample time to have been notified...in any even we were led to another room which was supposedly of the same quality, but we did not like it as it was dark and without much character. No offer of any re-embursement...Just..this is it. This was the sixth time we have visited the property, and always book the queen suite because it has a private balcony...Not pleased with this visit. It may be time to look for a new hotel in Colima.

Property is great, so beautiful and with some magic. Room clean and big Shower while showering the water got clogged at the point that we have to stop the water so it will not overflow We were asked to leave our room key, and their main door was kept close all the time, so it feel like we have to report our in and outs at any time. Pool well it was nasty nasty nasty It mentioned a posible food service option, that’s not an option. Overall for the price is ok, but it has lots of potential!

The room was pretty spacious and the air conditioning worked well. The bright spot was the young man working nights who would bring me a cup of hot water each morning for my morning tea.

There were absolutely zero amenities, it was a room and that was it. No restaurant, no bar, no laundry service - nothing outside of a room. I couldn't see to the bottom of the pool (the only amenity) so there was no way I was going in. No loungers by the pool, just uncomfortable iron chairs.

Es una hermosa casa antigua, pero dista mucho de ser un "hotel boutique". Solamente hay una persona que se encarga, aparentemente, de todo el hotel. Hay que tocar para entrar y salir. No hay servicio de restaurante. La alberca está semi llena y no se antoja usarla. La iluminación de los cuartos es mala, con focos de neón muy poco agradables. No hay enchufes eléctricos en el baño. Agradezco el apoyo de Viviana, que estuvo al pendiente de mi estancia.

The building very nice and it’s surrounding. The gardens are very nice. Quiet and comfortable.

Hot water ran out almost immediately. The toilet didn’t have water - it was fixed The AC also malfunctioned- it was fixed.

It's a beautiful property with lots of history.

The large yard for my dog to play in and the secure parking.

It was upsetting to see the green awareness card for the environment and not washing the towels unless needed and then the cleaning staff took my towels and cloth to wash that didn’t need it. The management and the staff should get on the same page or don’t advertise the green awareness.

Few amenities - no coffee or food on site.

There was no where comfortable to sit outside. No cushions on metal grate chairs. No where to relax outside. The receptionist was not friendly or helpful. The place is run down and needs attention. The room was dark, no window in our Jr suite, the only view to the run down interior garden was to open the door with no screen. on booking.com it reads breakfast is included, not true. You could see into a disorganized and dirty kitchen. No hospitality. Could be easy to put coffee or hot tea out in the morning. or have access to a clean kitchen area to prepare your own. The pool is a joke.

We did not stay and tried to cancel. The accommodations were too difficult for my wife to manage because of her walking problems.

Great little gem in the center of Colima, beautiful, big and clean room, nice vintage decor and beautiful garden. It was quiet and safe, we walked at nigh to the main plaza and we felt safe and rally nice dining options. Great stay!

This place was comfortable, clean, charming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, you don't get a key to the front door, and have to knock or call anytime you want in (or out! The latter a real safety hazard). This is true day and night. Fairly weird and uncomfortable, in an otherwise nice place.

The hotel is an old Hacienda..so you can feel it in the atmosphere around you.

The staff was very quiet...had to be calling every time i wanted to go in and out the hotel, probably because the neighborhood is bad....the place where the hotel is located is not worth even staying...very ugly and bad graffitti everywhere in the neighborhood outside the hotel...Colima downtown is not the Colima I used to visit or know. No breakfast or restaurant in the hotel...no coffee at least!....very small swimming pool that you cannot even see unless you walk right to it way in the back of the garden...the lady that cleaned my room turned off my ac knowing that we were still staying another night and I let the management know and they just blew it off!...we slept very uncomfortable that 2nd night. Just like they want us to pay they should of done something for the inconvenience...wont stay here again.

The perfect place to stay for a couple of days if you are looking for clean, safe, and comfortable accommodations. Our room was nicely decorated, clean, extra blanket and pillows, small fridge, full length mirror, enough outlets to charge devices, and a very comfortable bed. Bathroom has a nice shower and a separate vanity area. Area is safe to walk and quiet at night. Wish I had stayed longer to spend more time in their beautiful gardens. Highly recommend this property!

Está muy bonito el hotel, solo en nuestra habitación el a/a hacía demasiado ruido y la puerta del baño era vidrio transparente 😰

Great location, near the centre and amazing staff. Loved the greenery, patio and visits from the bird. The team was very helpful and gave us great suggestions for restaurants, must see etc.

This is my 2nd time at Hacienda del Sol. I was disappointed this time. The room is showing signs of aging, and there was no hot water for morning showers-very disapponting.

This hotel must be removed fron the App. It has being the most unpleasant hotel I have ever used. No hot water, very dark, filthy and durty all throughout. They charged my bank account twice. Very noicy. This hotel must be removed from the App.

recibimos un exelente servicio de parte de las personas que trabajan en el hotel, es una exelente quietud y silencion y comodida y limpieza de sus habitaciones en el hotel, gracias por sus atenciones.

The pictures present a very different property than what was experienced. We were given on small bottle of water for two of us. There was a charge for additional bottles. There is nothing really close although the main square is within walking distance. The bed was fine but after my wife finally succumbed to a cold shower, i alerted the staff and they turned the hot water on. It lasted less than three minutes. There was one fellow on staff who was very pleasant and helpful. Too little too late.
